Enshrouded, Intro The Salt Mines!

well hello there you wonderful humans and welcome back to enshrouded I hope everybody's having a wonderful day we just got our small backpack unlocked at the hunter which is nice and uh we need to go into the salt mines today uh I also had a couple people at the end of the last stream mention that there is a way to get a lot of salt actually really near where the uh first base location is but getting this extra eight slots is going to be really nice we just need torn cloth dried fur and string but thank you all for coming to hang out today not Aragon Louisa faet Amy Louisa Gizmo Brie Soul Afroman hope everybody's having a wonderful wonderful day I think we might have used all of our string no we did not all right but we do have a full bag so we need to do some organiz gation here real quick we'll go out exploring all right that'll help we needed the cloth though and we're going to break down some of the some of the weapons that we don't use and then we'll upgrade some of our other things to make up for it are we done power went out while I was sleeping which instantly wakes me up because oh no Miss renate I'm sorry to hear that uh so we did get a root staff we don't really use stabs at the moment uh we do have this Forest long bow but I don't know if it's better than our Hunter's bow we have fire damage we also have critical critical hit Chance by 5% does this use this bow has great tension making an exhausting to use but it does great damage in exchange but I I don't see where the damage increase is coming from when the power is still 10 and it has lower Arrow speed so I'm a bit confused but maybe we should try it before I dismantle it um but we'll Salvage this one notifications worked nice it's a Christmas miracle and we'll dismantle these or Salvage rather and we can upgrade we probably I don't know which I use more I've been using the guillotine more so maybe we'll disenchant the the mace cutting damage cutting protection and Parry powder yeah so we'll we'll Salvage this we'll equip that for our extra slots and then we should be able to upgrade our Guillotine more which we can do here um upgrade alter oh no oh supposed to do at this guy enhance equipment increase critical hit damage increase critical hit chance that's pretty nice um I want to get a better wand and I don't know which bow I want to use instead found your channel recently love the should be good nope just me just me all right so so we wanted to farm up the stuff that we needed so we need salt and we need metal um because we want to be able to make better storage boxes so I don't have to grab stuff and really worry about sorting that much um and to do that we need nails and wooden logs which means we need scrap for the nails and then we need a small so then we need the Shroud spores and shroud liquid to be able to make the the better storage boxes and to be able to make nails we get two per metal scrap don't waste see if we've got any other metal scrap around I don't think we do I think that was all we had we do have more nails though was I making a box full of food that's what this was take the nails out of here ring make a box for crafting materials and a box for food going to need these how did fancy dinner last nighto it was good I made fancy mashed potatoes steak and just vegetables but I also made like a Bosque uh cream cheese or cheesecake which I've never made before I've never made cheesecake in general before um it was really good it's like a it's a burnt cheesecake now that sounds bad but it's actually really good so there's that and then I need wooden log wow we can make one need to upgrade your house or it's going to get a little crowded in there we'll do that at some point uh let's see here so shift click is quick move we'll quick move all of our stuff into there we've got bones we'll put the Shroud spores in there we'll keep the H we can I guess we're going to get rid of this this bow now and and I think that'll be it all right so salt we need salt and we also need we need more hide and things like that too so we'll see what we come across there's a couple different ways for us to get salt we can go into the salt mines which is what I think we're going to do I also need to find a really good way to acquire um better stuff in general what am I trying to say uh more metal cuz we're it seems like we're going to start needing a lot of it so that was the ancient well Hunter we were trying to get into the salt mines ancient Vault Alchemist home level one that's the salt mine okay [Music] so hopefully things go well you know I wanted to be a mage of battling and now I'm a double jumping heavy armored uh Guillotine dude so the plan isn't planning as yet but it will I'm assuming there's more things in here than just salt so we'll fully explore the salt mines oh shoot how do I oh that didn't give me a lot of time at all oh God dang it oh please tell me there's another one or do I have to leave right now nowo love frontiers of Pandora it's such a pretty game I really liked it really really enjoyed it H whoops I don't know what's in there this does not seem to be going well for us there's an Elixir well over there we probably need to clear out if we go to The Elixir well we can get the uh the time time thing is that a checkpoint is that what that is no no it's not Skye how are you doing do you recommend valheim while it's half off O valheim is a great game as well if you're getting into the open world survival games valheim is certainly hard to go wrong with um enshrouded might have spoiled you though cuz enshrouded is particularly good oh that doesn't look fun ined took what valheim did and made it better the valam was made by I think it was like one person originally but I quite I quite like valem very good oh Christ on a muffin okay which way for the time thing it up here oh baby give me woo it's getting sketchy Christ which way we got to go um Jackie I hope you're doing well that's what I'm worried about I feel very spoiled by this game yeah um I would say enshrouded is definitely better than valheim um so if you're looking for something better than unrouted you're definitely not going to get it from valheim it is still a great game though it's really hard to say anything bad about it do these things drop up you want some of this big boy that's what I thought so if I was an Elixir well which direction would I be I really need to know it got to be like straight right feel like I'm getting farther away from it now am I losing my mind right now oh there it is which will bring new stuff to the game new events new things we don't know a ton about it but it looks really good it sounds like there's going to be some good stuff the game just keeps getting better end all be all stardew Valley playthrough we will never be starting another stardo Valley playthrough unless it's modded use a regular axe you know halfway through slapping that I was I was thinking that that's probably what I needed to do ow I don't know why I keep hitting the wrong direction it's super weird it's definitely more oh God hi wait what what yeah there's no reason for us to start a new stard Valley playthrough because we're already starting in spring so we'll experience all the things that they offer in the first year although we are 19 days in the spring now because I accidentally afked while online which is a problem stard Valley is always one of those uh games that's fun to start over yeah but once you 100% it during a live stream there's not much else to do the healing stuff does seem like it would come in oh shoot are we are we screwed right now what the freck how the got to be kidding me I canot believe this just happened I ain't teleporting I ain't done we need a lot of Critter parts for something he's not playing the Lord of the Rings uh ter game cuz it got too grind like you say I remember a lot of people were talking about that one when it came out I didn't end up playing it I don't know what we were doing at the time was it power world must have been power world all right so we technically got we got 40 oh wow we got 190 salt which is all we really wanted I think we explored the majority of the salt mine um we've got the ancient Vault Alchemist over there we've got the buzz in the walls that doesn't sound fun searching for hidden tombs kind of want to go mess with the other Vault what you going to do got another Elixir well so we've got Arcane deflection now your Parry bashes the enemy for 20 blunt damage when equipped with a melee weapon attacking from a double jump deals an additional 20% of weapon damage what you gain an additional food slot just Survivor just out there surviving man I kind of want jump attack too when you have equipped and you can perform an evade attack which dashes towards an enemy deals more weapon damage I like the sound of that we got healer wizard away interesting we have Assassin all right we'll get jump attack to and we'll start going down battle mage seems like a good plan definitely need start making better better arrows better bow can only go so [Music] far we were farming a flint I wonder if we can actually make the Flint Arrow I do love the background audio in this game so nice it's peaceful yet ominous look that guy dude bro is shooting bombs that's [Music] dangerous assuming this guy is going to allow us to start crafting potions a whoops can he not hit me from [Music] there nice going to love little advantages like that oh provisioner Scythe we haven't seen one of those fire wand like the golden rule of luck for Mount and power deer with swift plus Nimble sweep it with swift plus muscle head woo nice okay so this is should be easy easy peasy lemon squeezy baby let's go that way or weapon's almost broken and we'll use the wand from now on we do have increased fire damage from our bow it was nice that we just randomly chose to start upgrading this thing it moves so slow oh that guy's got a new little freaking helmet thing he's fancy I kind of like the wands nowhere near as powerful as this though we repair here nice hell yeah I kind of like that system barar The Alchemist Alchemist Apprentice Gloves Plus 20 more recipes well button my butt and call me a biscuit not bad in a day's work bone meal at the grindstone okay oh well our inventory is full we need to go back home [Music] all right so upgrade alter we need shroud cores where do we should we have just gotten one of those we need to strengthen the flame we need Sparks which we don't have we can reset skill points that way which we don't want to do try that see how that [Music] does p the heart [Music] old baly hey hey we internal wait we are specs of dust and a whirlwind of stars my friend do you dare to reach out wishing to grasp a piece of Eternity perhaps obtaining an eternal spell would suit you I know one that was buried in an underground tomb alongside its Dreadful Master you could use it to do lots of good hell yeah we' already got my celium so now we can Craft health potions with red mushrooms purple berries and water ooh oo so that's for grinding work we got bug dust glow dust and shroud core ah which we can use with this got it okay a spiritual cane we got a freaking wizard hat oh shoot Fireball one okay that's cool do let know need to start picking up more mushrooms for the moral of that story I think so we got scrap arrows which just twigs and metal scraps that gives us 50 of those which isn't bad we needed to use our metal scraps to make nails so the the Scout set gives 30 and 30 is that better than the set that we have right [Music] now 42 and 21 o 10 and five eight and eight H I can go full wizard I could in theory Go full wizard oh my God he's got a one-handed sword this is where the one-handed sword has been this whole time God dang it now get back out let's go get some wood staff builds make the game stupid easy though but of course I remember only briefly messing around with the uh the stabs and the beta I think mainly because I didn't know how to remake the magic so once I ran out of magic stuff I was done done Z [Music] [Music] for we using like the basic tools Belling axe is what we need so we need string and shroud and then we need a pickaxe too to be the hammer the uh string and shroud wood and then shroud wood that's not question is where do we put our shroud wood or did we use it all steam lost your backup cloud save oh oh that's rough am I going to the Chocolate Factory you talking about the the new game that he's working on I will be quote unquote going to the Chocolate Factory yes fight fire [Music] and a lockpick should probably carry some of these around with us can not believe it took me that long to it's great just dropped into appreciate the stream well thank you I do like the game quite a bit s from the Shroud liquid Gathering perhaps I don't like chopping those down to only get one liquid it's definitely not not worth it so we need 15 per chest we got four chests which means we need a bunch of them 60 we're also going to need a butload of spores oh mushy boy just want to say hi got here that's kind of like a refining material I guess I'll leave it in there though we'll put the spores in there as well I think I'm just going to put raw materials in here and we'll put refined materials in the next one do Flintstone then this one will have like the next level of material and we'll do a food one right here food and magic and Potions Food Magic and potions and bombs we're not allowed to carry those so many materials it's hard for you to keep track of anything after playing um night Andale I uh I can keep track of everything oh what the heck is this mode what am I stuck in right now oh I see Lord ha Mercy on my [Music] soul night Andale definitely taught me something about uh item organ or chest organization that's for sure I what we do with the fireflies we'll put them in there for now too is there a way to like so if I pick it up and it goes into my inventory [Music] [Music] yeah was excited to learn we can Stack Storage or wish more games allowed it oh God yeah stacking storage is so nice so basically what I what I started doing from playing night Andale is I put like raw resources in a stack on one side and then I do like the secondary like basically resources that can be crafted from base resources and another box and it helps I don't know it help in some kind of weird helpy way you know and especially once you can autot transfer stuff in then it gets super easy go bloop bloop bloop know what tar is going to be used for okay what is this old books H okay all right I want to make healing potions did I need shroud liquid for that oh just water nice glad so I'm assuming this grinding stone we're definitely going to start needing put that bad boy right there all right what can we make in here bone meal we need bones ah so that kind of sucks we still need for refinement purposes to have the item in our inventory to do it it makes sense find hard to organize the materials I think I should hoard but I don't know if I really need them yeah so essentially what I'll do is I'll end up making like a stack like once I start getting like a ton of a certain resour yeah it's I know my brain doesn't do brain things very well I hoard everything yeah that's in a survival game that's pretty much the status quo is if you can do so we can make more Nails we can make one-handed weapons finally we can make dishes there was something that I wanted maybe not why does this still say I need to craft a workbench it's going to do it now get out whoa okay dude screw you man I'll roll right into your dangly bits now we have two work the question is can I strengthen the flame so we need oh God I just used all the bones and we need a spark where do I get sparks from that's shroud core we get them from flame sanctums you say ah let's go check out one of those then shall we we got another one up there is the cinder VA that's where we started right yeah hey Natasha how are you doing all right we heard the BP of Destiny to the flame sink Doom which is that way we're on an adventure how many arrows do I have that's what I need to do I need to craft higher tier arrows before we do anything that was a bummer I don't know why you're spamming in about that you've literally heard me talk about stacking the chest multiple times already I can still see your caps locked last message I'm not blind they fix the arrow glitch oo I didn't know there was an arrow glitch to begin with oh all the arrows are still doing the same damage well that's dumb I guess it's good to know that now though before I wasted resources on it so essentially bows are pretty useless at the moment oh shoot screw this oh Lord trying to eat my booty like [Music] groceries that was satisfying just blow up everything in the house it's a great way to get rid of a house new law danger explosive ah yes didn't need to tell me that one you may have talked about this before but what do you think about these games being in Early Access is that part of the course for for survival games or just games in general now nowadays um it was very very much a uh an indie developer thing for a very long time I'd say until preco until like 20 2019 early 2020 it was usually just a thing that Indie Developers did you know teams of like one or two people um they would release a game into Early Access they could fund um progress on making the rest of the game then all the I mean in try to still a small Studio but then AAA Studios and things like that started realizing that they could do half the work and make all the money up front and uh and then abandon their games um amongst a lot of other people so I def have mixed uh mixed emotions when it comes to Early Access stuff like I come from a time like when I started playing Early Access things but there's a lot of really great Early Access games like Arc survival evolved despite its problems great game uh there been tons of really great Early Access games but unfortunately there's also tons of really really really really bad ones I'm all for it when it's uh from like a small Studio of like one or two people or something like that but I don't see an excuse for like a big Studio to do it it's just a way for them to either offload a game that they don't think's going to do well early so they don't have to invest as much resources into it that's the kind of the red flags that I see most of the time now but it definitely depends on the uh on the developers like I would never buy an access game from [Music] EA yeah dink's a great example of an early access game and shrouded is great um another one that was that was really good was grounded uh they didn't do a good job of updating it but still a great game and it was in Early Access how am I missing so [Music] much [Music] dream light Valley Early Access not the best one power world's another great example of a good one which we should be getting our first content update soon as well is nice Forge Weaponry or armor what's this Quest like look around well well well how was the fancy food it was good I made a Bosque cheesecake um steak uh fancy potatoes from like a Michelin star restaurant recipe thing which came out really really good the cheesecake came out perfect which I've never cooked cheesecake before so I was pleasantly surprised it was good and then I took a food coma nap great got bone meal that can go in here dirt am I charcoal uh see if we can start making some charcoal actually we already have a bunch of Dart upgrade the flame you can make another home I just don't have enough uh materials for it I need to does anybody know a good way to farm up these shroud spores cuz I just don't I just don't have enough so I need to pick up the other Home CU I can't make another one yet and I don't want to live there anyways cuz y'all convinced me to place it down there so I could fast travel to it ancient obelisk all right can I disassemble this though distinguish flame so will it just automatically disappear
