Ender Pearls can accidentally kill you now and I love it.

twitch Cape why is it raining uh well why is it raining I can't stop the rain guess it's time for another glitchy snapshot hi I'm back on Java Edition did you guys know that n crystals just kill you now so a few things I want to share with you in this snapshot 1.21 is about to release we are on pre-releases now 121 pre-release 1 check this out this is something you guys can try to do as well cuz it's a lot of fun give yourself a stack of Ender Pearls or just one ender pearl and face a nether portal one that you've already made it's more enjoyable if you haven't generated the nether before so I've got one right here and simply throw an ender pearl through the portal and guess what happens will you a die or B not die leave a comment what do you think will happen okay here we go this snapshot is so buggy all right we shall do that again and we are dead we've died twice now oh you should probably know this as well it's really important especially if you've continued playing Survival on your snapshots not advised if you place an ender crystal on the ground it will actually kill you all right let's go back I'm here to give you all the pre-warning so you don't make a big mistake in your hardcore snapshot worlds so subscribe as my videos will hopefully save your life okay one of the major changes in this snapshot as 1.20 is about to be released is if you throw an ender pearl through a portal not just in near the portal it includes End Portals like that one the Pearl will travel through the portal into the other dimension continuing its original trajectory so if I do this I'm in Creative now so I won't die if I do that 99 time out of 100 or maybe nine times out of 10 the Pearl will successfully go through the portal I don't know why sometimes it doesn't work like you saw at the beginning of the video let's see what happens again it goes straight through some things just aren't perfect in the snapshot as we've established already yeah it's a bit buggy like you can't respawn the dragon right now because anytime you try to place an end Crystal on Bedrock you will die and so what I'm going to do now to show you this in action is I'm going to log in with my alt Fenix 2 and Fenix SE 2 currently is standing on this side wearing the Alex skin going to go through the nether so what's going to happen is Fenix SC2 is going to throw an ender pearl through the portal it should shoot out through this way hits one of these walls and they will die I mean I will I mean they will die all right let's see this happen ready it went through the portal again there we go as you can see the Pearl went through through the nether portal and now they're being suffocated in hot molten rock they're still sinking we'll fly up here all right that's kind of nice so it's really fun to play around with especially if you want some sort of death roulette because what you can do is simply create a nether portal somewhere in a world give yourself an ender pearl and just throw it and hope that you don't die on the other side cool I didn't die actually I wonder if this is going to kill me yes you just create random portals everywhere and then just throw throw an ender pearl and see where you land it's a fun little game now why is it still raining what follows this of course is the stasis chamber for ender pearls I have flowing water a bubble column which is going to push this Pearl up and this trap door remains open until I need saving or something like that cuz I'm just going to die now and this button here will transmit a redstone signal up this platform towards the trapo close it which will trigger the Pearl otherwise this Pearl is just going to sit here forever until it hits something solid which will teleport me back I'm just going to set this to zero so I can instantly teleport I'm going to have to rely on the force loading of chunks so get ready going to press it and I'm going to run towards the portal go straight through and we'll jump into lava and I've been saved adequately there's water here I need it there we go it's kind of a fun little technique it otherwise needs to be effective itively automatic somehow if you're about to die or just use a totem I don't know press the button go into The Nether and then find a way to die like this pretty good I like it there are existing issues with this like this snapshot has a lot of existing issues already like did you know that if you placed an ender crystal you will die like this doesn't behave very well with gigantic portals like this let me throw a pearl right there and you just teleport twice I don't know why maybe it's because the Pearl hits the portal twice with that extreme angle but yeah there's a lot of problems with chunk loading here sometimes the Pearl doesn't even work that one worked that time that one didn't work and it's probably because the Pearl has not loaded the chunk yet so if I go through I will teleport eventually so it's a rudimentary concept that's been requested for quite some time so it's pretty cool here's another one doors of different types can now create double doors that's not a good example this is a better example you can see how the handles now connect to each other good job moang I can't stop it from raining mace attack speeds have changed and increased from 0.5 to 0.6 which allows for easier chaining for wind burst I know why I'm still doing this yes that is a gigantic armor stand the entities with passengers can use Portal's game rule has been removed instead is is Now the default Behavior but here's a really good one you can now effectively leash villagers because boats can now be leashed I think this is a parody thing I'm pretty sure it's already a feature on Bedrock so finally we have it on Java but this also means you don't need to ride inside the boat forever you can also do this and now have two villagers in the single boat and transport them together it also means you can now fly and have them just be there hang on I wonder what happens if I actually do this though will they follow dang it anyway it's a good idea to give moyang props for these changes even though they're very buggy they're actually doing things we should have had for a very long time all right well now I'm taking them to the end because we're going to drop them off in the end because I'm going to feed them to the dragon to see just how massively bugged the end is cuz you probably didn't know that if you place an end crystal in the end that you will die there's a way to avoid this if you fill an area around the end crystals with air to replace fire they will spawn because the fire is what destroys them so now we just wait and see if these end crystals here also explode during a respawning animation they probably will right yep one last thing I'm going to mention is that there is an imperson Minecraft event being held in Dallas Texas on the 20th of September so this is the final announcement that they made for the 15 year anniversary giveaway period so if you're in that area I do encourage you guys to join because we want to signal to moang or Microsoft that we want inperson experiences not mcon live not a live
