standing in the presence of the lord declaring glory and that we give all glory to him and praise to him and honor to him while we are in the house declaring glory the voice of the lord the power of and while we are worshiping him oh while we are worshiping him what happens if you notice that sense of victory and authority and power rises in us because we are divinely connected to him and when we acknowledge and worship him he is he his his very self begins to expand and grow in us because we are connected we are the body of the anointed one one more time just say hallelujah to jesus not enslaved we are not enslaved [Applause] [Music] i was listening yesterday to the governor of of uh south dakota and that state imposed not one single mandate not one they never stopped businesses they never stopped churches they never stopped school and they never made anybody wear a mask and they told them they told them you'll have ten thousand people in hospitals and she said our worst day we had 600 in the whole state their economy is roaring their people are well and happy so i think it's time for us to demonstrate some get up and go and some faith time to get back in the house of the committee it's the single biggest important uh conference of conservatives particularly republicans so this is the testimony he's had people come up and say victory channel we like what you guys are doing we like what you got we're watching you so you guys are having an impact around the world coming here right here so i wanted to make one little announcement then i'll go sit down and take my pastor gene a great hand what he was saying and the fact that we're putting this out and that people are watching politicians are watching we are becoming increasingly the voice of victory and faith in every arena and people are finding out that government shows up in every arena of your life the presence of government is there even when they in the conservative viewpoint we don't want them there but that is important do you understand and so the fact that we're speaking up and allowing those voices to be heard freely um is really really big and that's why what we're talking about in our offering today is so important right of course everybody is aware of the event that we had here in the state of texas other states as well uh fort worth we found out has not experienced as many hours of 32 degrees and below temperatures since 1949. now i heard last night george that it the an even more strategic um comparison was 1898. wow 1898. so it can't be global warming okay 1898. so many of us have been affected by it we were we were affected by it in our own home we'll tell you a little bit about that later but also the ministry was highly affected by what took place and the lord gave a specific direction uh for last uh sunday last wednesday friday night at the the healing evening and then in today the offerings of today's service will be going completely to this project that we have here called repair rep repair replace and expand here at eagle mountain international church kenneth copeland ministries so did you want to mention something before we go yes you know how many of you have heard about this already we've already you've been watching some people haven't so why are you bringing this up again well first of all we've been delivered from the fear of repetition you know one of the things one of the one of the uh amen amen careful how much you like that so but if you notice one of the words most often used in the bible is again i say unto you and there are a lot of reasons for that i bring you into remembrance i bring you into remembrance that's right so there are several reasons and i think you should know first of all not everybody has heard about this or some people have not decided about their giving and they're still looking at that or praying about it and some people you know you have to say things number of times before people click in and make that decision and there were also people who heard about it weren't really able to give or in their own situation and the lord continues to speak and reveal to people and sometimes it's also that he speaks to them further you know when you give no matter what it is as you give it gives you the opportunity for to increase your capacity to give more right you know our our breakthrough amount has changed i remember when fifty dollars or a hundred dollars the thought of giving a hundred dollars at one time was uh was a big thing we were glad and thrilled that we got to do that um so those that number has continued to rise over the years and so we have a number that we give on a regular basis then there are those breakthrough numbers and we've been talking about what is that breakthrough that breaks through the breakthrough for us and because of that we haven't even put our our full seed in yet because we've been we don't want to be wanted to be hasty about that uh we've given some but we're looking what is what's that what's the breakthrough for us and what helps us to break this ministry break through so um we're reminding ourselves and others that we're sowing into the kingdom but we're also sowing for our own harvest so we wanted to go through again some of the things that took place here on the property that was one of the reasons why we weren't able to have church over the last couple of weeks we didn't have heat in the building there were other things that were affected by water in the building so um let's take them through just some of the top line things that have happened here and that what we have to do at kcme msc well we have four cooling towers and it's funny to think about a cooling tower but that it also is uh heat as well as cooling and those there's pictures you see they are massive pieces of equipment for those they they heat the church and student life center our headquarters building the power plant as well as the partner service center we had severe freeze damage to the point that it affected two of those were completely shut out and not working right now two have been repaired some repairs have been temporary and allowed us to make them operational more repairs need to be made and parts need to be purchased and in some cases parts are no longer available for some things right right our power plant supplies an important percentage of our electricity we have four generators the lord told brother copeland in 1973 that this property was to be independent and as you can see the times that we live in it's beginning to be evident why more and more between crazy politicians and crazy weather we can see this as necessary and so three of the four generators were destroyed so we have one operational generator and it needs to be replaced as well it's operating but it can no longer be fixed or repaired it's too old it's three times past its life expectancy and we we thank god that the lord has helped us with that but how many know it's not good to depend on something that's three times yeah so uh our let's see our headquarters building we had multiple fire sprinklers this and we've never heard of this our maintenance crews never heard of this anywhere the fire sprinkler heads got so cold that they burst and when they burst the water went everywhere it just caused waterfalls to go all over in the top floor but then that went down the walls and flooded the second and third floor on one half of the building and then that of course messed up desks chairs carpet walls sheetrock etc and again i'll be honest with you a number of these things needed to be replaced we had started a remodel and so one of the the part of the wings that we had remodeled was untouched praise the lord praise the lord so there you go water wells and the water tower our equipment froze pumps absolutely exploded shot bolts out of it cracked pump heads campus was without water but we have restored water all the wells have been water in most places all the wells have been repaired for the water but the pumps gauges and controls are only temporarily repaired for a number of reasons gas wells the gas wells supply a number of things first of all they do produce a matter of some income into the ministry but besides that they supply the energy for the generators so those generators have been functioning off the gas well that's on the property is that a god plan or what yeah but two of them froze and so they are unoperational and we are watching them very carefully we suspect that there will be other things that will uh be revealed as we go was as we've gone along we found more problems than maybe at your house i know at our house we've had that same thing there are other buildings that are in need of attention throughout the campus but remember we're repairing pipes equipment things that we can repair some temporary some permanent we're replacing things that just need to be replaced like some furnishings and equipment and so forth but this is the time right now for expansion and upgrade this is the time to get it right and so people say well i'm telling you we have had things over here that have been there 30 plus years we've been in this building 35 years and it's just time worn out stuff think well how in the world would kenneth copeland ministries let it get to that point well i'll tell you why and it's your fault it's because it's because we think about you and outreach we are always thinking about going out we're always thinking about expansion of the getting the word out and preaching and a lot of times we honestly have been somewhat negligent or sometimes forced to make a decision because of the income that you had you either you either take the opportunity directv and things like that or we fix things we replace old equipment and so forth but there comes a time when that's no longer acceptable it never should be but it's no longer acceptable just like you wouldn't put pastor george in a shack to study to prepare the word to bring to you you wouldn't put brother copeland in a cockpit or a an airplane that's substandard you wouldn't put him out in a little single engine prop drop to go to south africa but may never see him again because that's the sanctuary that's the place where the and it's not right to put our staff and our people in cubicles or in environments that are substandard to what the glory of god should be represented and conducive to do i get an amen on that praise god so throughout this whole time the church was working our staff our volunteers and i want i want to let them know how grateful pastor terry and i are we need to give them a great hand oh amen what a job they do amen thank god for them just to mention a few of the things that they did teams were checking on our congregation they supplied food water firewood they were out there chopping firewood a gas for vehicles truckloads truckloads of firewood we relocated families to safe shelters the pastors were hosting individuals in their own homes wellness checks were made by staff and volunteers dispatched and supplied needed items to people who couldn't get out and shuttled individuals who are uncomfortable driving so all of those things were taking place during this we had we had people sacrificing their own time in their own family to be able to reach out to the the families of our church and then something over 400 wellness checks or people that we had many calls were being made and we're thankful and then our staff of course our staff here at kcm oh campus-wide church staff they were absolutely amazing but especially most in particular our network crew our maintenance crew and our security team who remained and kept the network up against all odds thank you pastor jean and all your team glory to god there they are pastor gene's pastor gene's study the greg stevens was doing the news i mean it was miraculous that's that's pastor gene's study right there yeah look at that innovation you know i mean it it came down to only one way to get the word out and they we had a way though and so we were really really thankful our i.t department did an amazing job keeping so that we could communicate with each other and send information back i mean it was all hands on deck pastor and i were busy all day long every day we were either boiling water or huddled by the fireplace with our cell phones getting maintenance reports and so forth we had teams out in that you know near zero degree weather five ten degrees out there at night with blow torches trying to keep one of those cooling towers from being demolished can you imagine what it would cost to re totally replace that equipment they would they would walk into a building yeah that was so led by the spirit led by the spirit walk into a building and a pipe would explode and they were they were able to turn the water off that didn't happen just once out here on the property the same thing they drove up to the water tower down here and there goes a pipe and so they were right there at the moment to be able to take care of that i love the way the lord told ethan cerrone he said to him it's not as bad as it looks and he said for you to say that yeah so it looked like at one time we had a massive leak we had seen like 16 was 16 feet of water from our water tower disappears oh we have got a leak and so they're searching the property searching the property and it turns out it was the problem was a gauge that thank you jesus for a good report and so we had lost a lot of water but it was just a gage it you know oh thank you lord so that was a big thing and the lord's been good and our people have been listening and led by the holy spirit so terry some people some people have been asking about well don't you have insurance and yes we do have insurance you want to explain to them well you know it's the same you know how their insurance thing goes especially right now yeah you know we get an appointment we're waiting for an appointment with an adjuster on a couple of different things and they're like well yeah we'll see you sometime in march and so uh you know we have situations like that but you know there's the deductible and the deductible we have on this property and on each piece of equipment so forth is is high but we have to get the work done in spite of that so you know they tell you take pictures save your receipts and then insurance will in some cases will only pay you to fix or to get one exactly like what you've got i don't want another one of exactly what we've got yeah that's right okay neither neither do you no neither do you that's right sometimes that's okay but you know there's a difference between replacing your car with a new car or replacing your car with one that's just as old as the one you have and so we have a lot of that to deal with in a lot a lot of different situations on the campus so as i've already said much of this was already old and done and it's time to upgrade in technology even if it wasn't it's time we're we're playing it if you want to call it that playing we are we are engaged in a whole neville another league of broadcasts with the network and with the news and with the the things that we're engaged in preaching the gospel as oral told us we are sent into every man's world and i'm telling you god is taking this network into every man's world so it's not just what you see on the screen there is so much that goes on behind it and not just in the tv department but all the the prayer teams we've got to expand our prayer our prayer department is not big enough to handle all the calls that come in okay so if you hire more people with more equipment etc you get the picture so this is why insurance and when it comes believe me we will take it and use it and it will be applied but that is not sufficient to take us where the lord said we are to go and to be hallelujah so this entire offering today just as we did last sunday last wednesday friday night and today the lord has led us to to take gather this offering and to put it towards this repair replace expand projects so what you're sowing into today you are sowing into repairing you are sowing into replacing and you are sowing into expanding there are certainly things that terry and i have that need to be repaired replaced and we need to expand and so we've got seven leaks and counting yeah well that we don't the network should never be in jeopardy again uh we want to advance to a new standard of excellence uh that the kingdom deserves we want to have better systems top-notch power water plants cutting edge broadcast equipment and we will fulfill the mandate to preach the uncompromised word of faith from the top of the world to the bottom all the way around the middle on every available voice and when when the world comes to a halt faith never stops faith never stops hallelujah and here's the scripture here's the scripture that we've been standing on is hebrews 3 4 in the amplified translation and it says for of course every house is built and furnished by someone but the builder of all things and the furnisher of the entire equipment of all things is god amen so our trust i'm sorry i'm going to add this to it in hebrews 13 21 20 may the god of peace and remember peace is wholeness nothing missing nothing broken nothing missing nothing broken the god of peace who brought again from among the dead our lord jesus was there anything missing in jesus name is there anything missing was there anything broken about jesus no does he conquer and is he the most excellence of excellence yes come on now yes yes yes that great shepherd of the sheep by the blood of the covenant strengthen you make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good so that you may carry out his will while he himself works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in his sight through jesus christ to whom be glory for ever and ever amen amen amen amen so let's pray over this offering today this seed that we're all sowing into the things that we need in our households in our homes and and the harvest of the seed that we'll be able to help other people with father in jesus name we thank you for watching over us taking care of us and lord you have led terri and i in these offerings to to use utilize them for this ministry property that we as a church inhabit and thank you lord that we are going to go further farther higher than we've ever been before in the preaching of the gospel and we will get this property this place to become self-sufficient so where we are not affected by those things that come upon us we receive that we receive the anointing for it and we thank you lord that we are blessed coming in and we are blessed going out we're blessed in the city and we are blessed in the field and thank you father for this as the people so we will rejoice in the harvest of it in only thing that would work is if that that post that we we read it the other day that the devil's going to wish hell had frozen over and not us so we can show a fireplace with you know icicles or something so let's pray and then we'll receive this word father we honor you today and thank you for your great presence in this place and lord thank you for a word that will help us the word of god is alive and active and sharper than any two-edged sword the word of god shall last forever and we praise you that that word is working in us right now in jesus name amen amen open your bibles to james chapter one james chapter one and i so enjoyed doing our fireside i do miss the fireplace though that was i know that was very nice james chapter one i'm gonna read this scripture and then we'll we'll set this up for you and and go from there but in verses two through four king james translation my brethren count it all joy count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations knowing this that the trying of your faith works patience but let patience have her perfect work that you may be perfect and entire wanting nothing let me read the amplified translation of that consider it holy joyful my brethren whenever you are enveloped or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance steadfastness and patience but let endurance instead fastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work so that you may be people perfectly and fully developed with no defects lacking in nothing i'll read this new living translation to you this is a good one dear brothers and sisters when troubles of any kind come your way consider it an opportunity for great joy for you know that when your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow so let it grow for when your endurance is fully developed you'll be perfect and complete needing nothing something happened to terry and i at the same time this week as all as all of this was going on we lost power it was in the middle of the night um sunday night sunday night and i had really been looking forward to a day off on monday i knew it was going to snow and even when we were that sunday when we finished we did the service on saturday and then aired it on sunday and it was just i just so enjoyed it i just so enjoyed watching this you thought this was going to be just a day in new england didn't a new england day just like sit by the childhood so we made it through sunday i had at least something gently falling for that and then in the middle of the night you know there's certain things that go off that are telltale that the room just gets extra dark whatever lights were were flickering were gone and did not realize that for terry and i and you and all of you may have had your power come on at various times during the week we had our power come on for 15 minutes uh that was on wednesday i think thursday thursday wednesday thursday we were so excited we were we were visiting each other just rejoicing and excited and 15 minutes later the transformer back behind us the fuse blew there was an explosion and everything went back off again and did not come back on until early early early saturday morning um by then we had no water yeah been without water i guess since tuesday so i mean everybody has their stories to tell and still still a story to tell we're still we still don't have one we're so grateful we have grandchildren we will we will have somebody to tell our stories to for years to come they lived through it too but anyway but anyway mid mid week um it it really started to bother me and i shared some of this on the fireside but i it started to bother me because i was noticing houses across the street had their lights on and i'm like what's up with this what's up with them so i got in my car and i started driving around it's a small neighborhood and i just started driving around the neighborhood and i'm going that one has lights that one has lights and i pulled up we knew it couldn't be just because we voted for trump because we'd seen the signs in their yards too yeah that wasn't that we were one targeted conspiracy the conspiracy theory there was one particular house i pulled up to this house we know we know the the family that's there and it looked like every light in the house with people sitting around it somebody was standing at the kitchen washing dishes and i was like meanwhile meanwhile i'm dipping water out of the pool to flush toilets and wash dishes well speaking speaking of that so i'm well speaking about that let me let me show a little clip [Laughter] so the pools froze over you know and a couple inches of ice across the top i could have gone skating [Laughter] but yeah it froze over so this and again everybody has a story to tell but this is our story but here is pastor george breaking the ice in order to get water for the toilets could we show that little clip please [Applause] come on now sling that hammer [Applause] so i have others of him out there he had on his pajamas his robe and his puffy coat [Laughter] i look like a rabbi he's out there way down here and he's hammering the thing and dipping the bucket and you might have seen me with the with the hammer i was pushing the ice chunks aside because when you dip the water in there and bring it back inside oftentimes it would be have big chunks in it you have to take the chunks out and anyway so i have pictures of my dishwater with ice floating in the top so as the week as the week was going on i was i could tell i was getting a little bit more frustrated with things especially when my whole neighborhood except for my neighbor my neighbor and i were on the same transformers so he and i we were working together with each other and you you heard me tell the story about about him texting me and he said i just saw the encore truck drive by and they're driving out of the neighborhood i can't get out of my garage can you chase them down let me clarify you got in the car to do that because i think some people thought he was out there trying to chase so i got in my car and and you could i wish there was soundtrack music that went along with this go get that electric company i i said your mission mr phelps i said were you looking for that transformer and the guy went yeah we were i said follow me so i got them back into the neighborhood but it was pretty frustrating and there was there was one point where i just i had to sit down and we weren't we were busy all the time this was a pioneer home like most of you were experiencing in in whatever way you were experiencing it we were we were being we were with you we were like that painting of american gothic the guy with the pitchfork and his wife standing next to him actually terry i somebody somebody actually gave me a picture of that and i should i should have have it for the next service but they photoshopped our faces oh absolutely well i hope that was an improvement to that painting so so i was sitting i finally had to sit down because i mean it's just a constant boiling water getting water just figuring out ways to get warmer um and and just it's constant and then on the telephone just talking to the office and dealing with the things here so i finally sat down with my bible and i said i got a fee i got to feed on the word and i said lord what do you want me to do and he took me to psalm 34. many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers them delivers him out of them all and i s that scripture i laid hold on that one many are the pressures of the righteous but the lord delivers him out of them all right and and there's another in that one of the other verses in that scripture talked about many of the troubles uh of the righteous and the lord delivers them out of them all so i really began to lay hold on that and i could tell something was changing on the inside and it was happening to both of us the change was taking place on in the both of us because i didn't i didn't have that same frustration it was it was as if and it probably was that the lord was saying to me george it's going to be okay just keep standing just keep believing it's going to be okay and what we discovered was that the force of patience was beginning to work on the inside of us you know george i think that patience was at work from the very beginning because the lord had said something to me actually a couple years ago he said you have need of patience okay so started to work on that and we'll we'll talk to you further about how you actually do work to develop it but i don't that frustration didn't settle in for several days and the frustration began to rise because there was so much pull and so much drain i was frustrated in a different way because i wasn't able to get to my prayer and where to i mean i get up early and i don't i don't go a day without significant amount of time it's so rare but to have several days in a row where even to have i had planned time but just to get up get the house warm boil water it's all that and then then the stuff began to happen before i could even get to it and it was that out of everything i was becoming very just downright angry with the situation because my time was being stolen and that i was frustrated that the time was being stolen it felt like the most important aspect of my time my time with the lord and in the word so the lord sustained us through that but at some point you begin to drain on your reserves just to such a degree that it shows up and that was that's why it was thursday or thursday friday that it really really began to show up in in agitation and impatience um and tiredness you know it's a lot of work i'm sure you know that but it was a lot of work mental a lot of mental decision making just it's hard to describe to you all that that was going on for us for work family had two different other family members to take care of um and so um but as we were as you sat down at the scripture it was an instant it was an instant recharge it really was like a reboot it really was and there are some people right now maybe some of you here or those that are watching are still dealing with issues uh situations that are going we're in a hotel no water so we finally not at the hotel the power did go out at the hotel one time oh i know nowhere [Music] [Laughter] so we decided we decided that while the the water was being fixed the pipes were being fixed at the house that we were just going to go to a hotel this morning and it has a little kitchenette so we're really happy so he comes out this morning he's standing at the sink and he stares at it for a while then he does the handle this way and he said i'm still amazed that when you push this thing up water comes out and if you go this way it's hot the shower at the hotel he keeps taking showers she just keeps going in there i'm gonna take another shower well you know eight days without one you want to make up for lost time the shower at the hotel it's so cool it has a temperature thing on it so you know exactly how hot the water is i get up to 108. [Music] this is great [Music] and i remember it was on saturday when uh the power finally came on our neighbor text us at five in the morning electricity's on turn on the lights so we got up and we started you know the breakers and all of that and got it back on and then later on that morning uh found something wrong with one of the pipes that we fixed they got the pipes fixed and so we turned the water on and it was the pipe for water to our house had burst got that one fixed by the time we got that fixed we turned the water on in the house real slow like yeah well suddenly niagara falls was in our bedroom and in our garage and yeah we were looking up at a light fixture in in the set in the ceiling you could have had a shower then oh water stand on the bed to get it so right in the middle of that pastor terry says oh said it with a little bit of an attitude i'm determined you know that's something that when you read a scripture and it says count it all joy you just read past that like it's you know it's the bible right but if you were sitting there talking to someone and you told them this whole situation and oh and this and that and they looked at you and said well here's what you need to do you need to get real happy about this what would your response be are you crazy you you'd find a way it feels offensive to suggest that you should get real happy over this count it all joy counted all joy things but it's not joy that i'm counting right now and so when he says count it all joy when you fall into these kind of pressures temptations trials situations just cause situations no matter what kind they are and i know we're referencing all this to power and water and so forth because so many of us have experienced that but all of us um there are other things going on at the same time you know life didn't stop in other ways and we recognize that this is a whole season which began a year ago of a pylon technique you know it seemed like the only thing that people were talking about was coveted but there's stuff going on and because of that other things have happened and it's not just that but the the domino effect and then just life and family how many of y'all have family [Laughter] i don't know maybe i need not say any more than that as george says george says everybody has family and so they send the same thing about you probably so so you know everybody you've got family situations and challenges and and and needs to take care of etc etc etc so between work and family and the nation and your your calling your ministry and just so on and on and on it's a pylon technique and so when the scripture says when you fall on fall into different situations i think you could also add to that when you fall into many of them and then there's no limit it didn't say now when you fall into a situation when you find yourself under pressure over something but you can find yourself under pressure over a lot of things and a lot of it can happen at once on levels you've never encountered before brother hagin said you can find your head not to where your feet were just moments before it's the truth but at that time and the word says count it joyful joy jesus he he compounded the insult by saying rejoice rejoice when people spitefully use you or persecute you dance around the room and get glass that's right well do you have any no that's not the real natural way to go with that right so it's important right here to say that that's intimidating unless you think about galatians 5 22 which says the fruit of the spirit now it's the fruit of your spirit jesus said you bear the fruit but it's the fruit of the spirit that is a result of the indwelling holy spirit because this is his nature the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace patience and so on right so these are divine impartations he didn't ask you to come up with he didn't ask you to generate it he didn't ask you to just uh go to school and learn about it or just or or say to you how weak you are if you're not joyful this is this is not a put down but what he's telling you is i'm in this with you i'm in this with you but you are going to have to be the one to activate lay hold of and activate the presence the the indwelling christ the indwelling spirit of the anointed one on the inside of you because that's your answer being joyful is what lifts you up and above puts you in a place over and above and joyful lifts you up and patience undergirds you and we we got all the way um yeah we we were we were experiencing that during this time this was this was taking place um beca and what i want to do we just have gosh a few minutes here left but i want to talk to you about what patience is not and what it is and i think we can we can get up to that point safely today uh if i don't say anything no you i'm asking you to join me help me help me i know but before we before we get into that i have a higher word quota every day than you do [Music] [Applause] men have a tendency to have less words than i've heard that men speak what is it ten thousand ten thousand words five thousand words a day women have ten thousand words with gusts up to 30. [Laughter] something like that and terry's an amazing preacher i get personal sermons myself at home and sometimes she'll start talking to me and i'll go oh i'm going to settle in here [Laughter] but we're we're a team we're a team through this whole thing take a look at that picture i just saw it back there put that picture up there of terry and me there it is [Laughter] that reminds me some people are going what was that that was green acres look it up on youtube that's right darling you know i definitely am the zs0 so the force of patience was working on the inside of us and what what patience is not now one of the things the traditional view of patience is to be passive in the face of adversity to just kind of kind of let it go put up with the circumstances and that's not it at all i like what you wrote in the notes here gr grit your teeth bear the pain or the trial calmly and without complaint that's not a bad thing to be calm and not complain in fact that helps you a whole lot but it's a lot more than that to knuckle under and hunker down until the storm passes over that's not patience that's not what the force of patience is to be satisfied with whatever comes your way whatever whatever it is whatever happens i'm just going to be patient with it no we weren't doing that we weren't we were fighting the good fight of faith during that that time and are and still are every time we pull up to the hotel fighting the good fight of faith you know how much longer will we be here and but it's okay because we've gotten over into the place we're in faith we are in faith and that force of patience is working on the inside see how absurd this whole even letting the hotel being in a hotel frustrate you a little bit is like i just want to go on vacation you know go to a hotel well we're in the hotel there's just something about being forced into one that is not quite as appealing and there's no beach but there's a shower with a temperature [Applause] i'm going to go for 108 this afternoon so what patience is not being satisfied whatever comes your way whatever happens i i thought about that song uh que sera sera whatever will be that's what people think is patience and it's not i looked up the lyrics to that song i mean it's a really sweet song this is what a mother is singing to their child but it ain't true no it's not and it's dangerous question means whatever will be will be whatever whatever that you can't have that kind of attitude devil will steamroll you and you will be you will be just um just fodder for him it's a bad thing to say my house is fixed my house is fixed right now right now in jesus name in jesus name better than it was better than it was way better than it way better see that's the force of patience undergirding faith when the pressure is on your faith then patience begins to kick in if you allow it to and i like what keith moore said about the fruit of the spirit he said all of the fruit of the spirit must be developed it's developed and you can develop your love muscle you can develop your joy muscle you can develop your patients muscle and i believe that's what was happening and has been happening to us that patient's muscle is being developed you know and i know we're really out of time we're gonna if we'd like to continue this next week you'd be good with that um i know some of you are thinking yeah but i need patience and i need it now but faith by nature is steadfast the nature of faith except that if your patience is is undermined then you're staying staying with your faith and confessing the faith and keeping your faith applied begins to be undermined and you just well i don't have time for that i'm done with that this stuff doesn't work but patience keeps and one last thing about this the things of god all have the characteristic and nature of god god is never casarasura no and there's nothing about him that's ever whatever if he ever got like that about you or me we'd be sunk so everything about him is powerful it's strong and it's well able to do its job in such a superior way that there's nothing the world or the devil or any combination of anything else can do to overtake and overcome what god has supplied us with so patience says don't you give up you keep speaking the word it doesn't matter if it doesn't look like it's changed you can't always see with your eyes what the eye of faith sees you keep it up you keep it up you keep it up and you stay steady steadfast and calm that's one thing i like about winston churchill and that's just keep keep calm and keep on and never never never never never never never quit never quit never quit never quit as we begin to wrap this up i am impressed that some are worrying about the finances and what it's taking to get things back in order and i just want to encourage you don't be concerned about that because there is more where that came from there's more your financial condition coming out of this will be better then even before going into it we are coming back and we're coming back stronger than ever you're coming back stronger than ever and you're going to see the goodness of god it's true it is through faith and patience that we inherit that's right the promises and that patience it is a force of god that when it's locked down on the inside of you nothing can move you nothing can shake you your heart is truly truly established on the word of god praise god let's all stand together and just begin to worship the lord and thank him for this thank you lord thank you father for the development of our faith the development of that patience that goes along with faith and we praise and honor you and glorify you right now thank you jesus 2021 is the year of divine healing divine health divine prosperity and divine recovery amen amen hallelujah amen you know even in that word it shows you the need of patience divine healing which will take you to divine health divine prosperity which will take you to divine recovery so that's why our faith and our patience the power twins brother copeland calls them will be working together and we are not giving up we're not slowing down we're not moved by what we see not moved by what we see none of these things move me amen something that i was thinking about before service started and i'm just kind of saying this as i'm hearing it but if there's anybody in a place of destitution yes please come in church right now uh we need to get a couple of our pastors to meet with them and to brian pastor brian i see him right back there um and pastor bobby why don't you two come on up here right now pastor brian and and guys thank you come on let's just meet with them and counsel them and see with the local body here students praise god in that wonderful and others and this in reading psalm 34 in verse 22 the lord redeemeth the soul of his servants and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate and i looked up the word desolate and it means to be devoid of warmth i sure needed that when i was reading this scripture devoid of warmth comfort or hope empty or without help and the feeling of abandonment so if there's anybody in here today that you need some extra help with this how well there he is wow that was fast i was walking through the slc and this function to run came on well comes on you often doesn't it yeah so what were you telling them i was i was i'm sorry i wasn't listening to what you were saying am i i know i was thinking about the scripture and this and i knew i knew that pastor terry was taking care of things i knew that she was handling it what are you talking about i just wanted to know what they're supposed to do oh with these guys you call them up here i know but are they going to go is there are they going to go to a room or are they going to stand down here sending them to their room sending them to them so would that work for you guys absolutely okay the living room will meet you right out those doors we've got hey we've got the practical students for kcbc going to be assisting me this morning also praise god amen outstanding we're ready outstanding if you broke it down real clear the lord sees you he hears you he's close to you and he deliberately say it again say it again because people write it down uh the lord sees you he hears you he is close to you and he delivers that's such a good one this is this is concerning the righteous which is who we are right you have a covenant with god and that covenant declares that you are healed and whole there's nothing missing there's nothing broken in your life you are shalom of god that's a wonderful such a good word and take that receive that right now receive your healing receive your
