oh come sit down all you faithful well I feel like them there's a big gap here in the center it's amazing oh well try that will be at the funny farm it's good to have humor but not there good morning church I see we've got mostly just the tribe here this morning Oh a chat a bit this morning about some of the elements of the New Testament church we have laid out a in our how we do things here with the open mic in there in a section ways that you can participate and we visit this subject time to time and there's been some there's been some movement here in this fellowship but not at the degree that it could be and I I'm not a person that likes just to be constantly on autopilot I'm unpredictable sometimes I've been known as the master fluff because that ain't working it is not doing what it's supposed to do within my continued that's what organized religion does it continues but doesn't stop to analyze what's not working and of course some some churches don't have the energy the pastor's don't have the energy to try to help a flock we focus on who they are in the flock and even were just some superstar that was the center of attention then and be one thing but he went back to heaven almost 2000 years ago and here we are and there's a provision here for the Holy Spirit to work with us collectively individually and I want God to do what he's supposed to do but sometimes our Father is totally dependent on whether we are awake or alert or even tuned in and if you're not preparing to be spiritual you will never be spiritual you'll be soulish and you can't be properly a proper soulish being unless you're first a proper spiritual being it is income your soul catch is number one and then your spirit catches up no your soul needs to be the product of spirit but many people are ruled by their instinct their emotions their feelings their psychology the mores of Moore's meaning the sociological structure around them the religious system that they're exposed to and when Jesus appeared on the scene the Old Testament church at which he was a bishop of they didn't know it but he was the God of Israel they came in the flesh the Old Testament church did not like to be disturbed they didn't really care about the promises of healing that were found in their scriptures they weren't really interested in anybody being healed either because I got upset when somebody was especially if it was on the Sabbath and they did not have any power to do what Jesus was doing and they did not have any power to do what the twelve are doing and eventually they did not have any power to do what this seventy we're doing which are unnamed people in the Israel that Jesus sent out two by two you find all of this and Luke chapter nine Luke chapter 10 if you want to read it in today's world it is very important that you consider it's time to be spiritual not just an instinctive psychological believer I want to stretch you this morning because I don't like status quo because in status quo there's no longer a necessity for thriving faith whatsoever and if we could believe we would have more if we could believe all of you have you been baptized in the Holy Spirit after regeneration by the spirit had the same ability to be used by the Father in Jesus name and the Holy Spirit working with you if you decided you wanted it that way or you can look at it from a distance and watch others what they're doing and rejoice with them in my journey I learned to become a believer I prayed for people believing that there was a father in heaven that would heal them and deliver them and because I believed that he did and continues to do so but if I were to do your job for you what is the purpose Jesus went back to heaven so we could do his job if I understand scripture correctly we are the body of Christ now I want you to just track with me if we are the body of Christ who's the head who Jesus is the head of the body so in real action of life what does the work the head of the body in your life what does the work does your head lift anything what what live what lifts things your body but who tells the body what to do you do as the head of your body but the head of you is Christ I tracking it's easy to not be spiritual it's easy to think you're spiritual and you're not it's easy to feel like you're spiritual because you hang out in an atmosphere that should be spiritual now I know this is very uncomfortable conversation get over it my job is not to make you comfortable to the point that nothing happens my job is to stretch you in faith there's a world around you that needs spiritual there's a world around you that doesn't even understand what spiritual is but they say they know God but the works of God doesn't manifest through them so how can you say you know God and the works of God don't manifest through you my conversation isn't for advanced intellectually accurate humans this morning it could apply to even a child listening to me here it has no age attached to a conversation what my point I want to take you to first Corinthians 14 when Jesus gave power you can look this up and Luke 9 I'm not gonna go there's all these scriptures but if you're really interested you can go look them up for yourself and if you're not interested don't bother that's simple you're required to search the scriptures not me search the Scriptures for you to our faults I can lead you and point you in the right direction but because I point you in the right direction and I show you I tell you and I give you secrets from the Bible about this journey does not mean that you have activated in the conversation because you have to mix your faith with everything I say and I'm not here just to put in my time and not being unkind I hope this one be mehar you know me by now but neither would I be a good under Shepard for the Lord Jesus if I didn't think like him if I didn't try to execute what he said we should be doing and then he nailed it with Paul in the writings of Paul and now we are required to embrace it or reject it 80% of Christianity has rejected truly being a follower of Christ their actual followers are John the Baptist in apostasy because they don't embrace John 14 now if you're gonna be fond of Christ then you must embrace what Jesus said or it's for someone else not you I don't think Jesus was talking just to one or two people I think he was embracing the body in all its parts many members and Jesus said in John 14 the things that I do somebody else will do the things that I do you shall do and greater things than I do you should do because I've gone to the Father why so that the Holy Spirit could be sent to the earth to work with you as the Holy Spirit worked with Jesus was totally dependent on the Holy Spirit and the father totally totally so aren't you totally dependent in fact Jesus who divided by the Spirit of God cast out Devils if I by what so who was working with Jesus who wants to work with you Holy Spirit is here listening to me teach right now Holy Spirit also lives within you that's either confronting you with conviction or irritating you with conviction this building and what we represent in the world this building in this town should be packed out this morning by people looking for God knowing he's here to heal delivered not just save and this place is half empty it's a tragedy but then again is it Jesus didn't have Jesus and his group didn't have much success either except for people who wanted God and wanted to be healed delivered and say then they had success so it's really not to mass is it so perhaps because this building is half empty is simply a statement of the harvest field it is easier to get an unsaved person saved then I get then to get a Christian ignited but then we bring we bring me unsafe to get save and we bring him into a place of rest not action after you considered doing more than Jesus do have you that seems to stretch us because we say how could that be then why did Jesus say it now we've got we've got a problem we've got the debate and the unbelief but then we have the words of Jesus that I have quoted you from John 14 it's in your Bibles and I have to embrace what he said past the unbelief sometimes I Christian's have led in their pants let butts hard to get around and do anything when your butts full of lid sometimes the holy spit this before I think one of the most board members of the Godhead is the Holy Spirit the power the living father and needs a believers permission to do anything period because God decided he's not gonna do too much in the earth unless he works through his sons and daughters now if that is the pattern and God's not gonna come down here and do all the salvation messages he's not gonna come down here and do all the healing and all the delivers Ghani is not going to do all these things then who's going to do it who is to represent God in creation now he's going to do it by himself the way not to do anything that was the Old Testament not the new the new company is different the New Covenant is different now the Christian Church is living like they're in the Old Covenant John 14 and then I want to mix a couple of scriptures here I want to go back to the first Corinthians 12 in just a moment but in John chapter 14 even I'm in the King James Version to follow me follow after charity that's love now there's so many different definitions for love and applications and there are so many ways of looking in love and actually love is defined by our own personal ideas more than Scripture we think in terms of love in ways that may not be necessarily where you need to be the first thing about love is this there is no greater love say no greater is that top notch I'm pretty high up isn't it there is no greater love then he say he put she he she same thing in Christ near male nor female there is no greater love than he /she who would lay his / her life down for another so love begins in giving on behalf of someone else and I want you to really listen to me this morning because this is not dead much that's budding off because I need something to say here today I don't do that usually but sometimes teaching is like driving a steel spike into a steel bulkhead all we get is ringing of the ears and not much penetration of anything so what I'm saying today doesn't depend on God it doesn't depend on me it depends on you as a receiver and I'm gonna ask the Holy Spirit to really bring you past your moment of drifting we're supposed to be a New Testament church the key word is supposed to be and you can't look at all the things that we've done on the road and here and there and all the things and God has really done some powerful things here but is that where we stop looking back to the powerful things that he's done is that is that what we're supposed to be doing 14,000 pages of testimonies even though they are valid even though they establish God's presence and his power is that where we live in the past the testimonies are designed to build faith in others and give God glory but somewhere along the journey before you could have a testimony there had to be a preacher there had to be somebody available to bring God and who he is and his power and His Word into focus there's some human could embrace it and then God could be God to them is that true follow follow after charity so this thing works with love if you really love me you're gonna make sure I'm okay because God thinks that way God loves you so he really wants you to be what okay there John verse 2 says what dearly beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers john 3:16 for God who the father so loved mankind and he gave Jesus came from heaven the living word came from heaven to become one of us to die a horrible death that God could raise him from the dead and Satan and death could be defeated for our benefit not his I said for our benefit not his so we have a responsibility to give back what has been given I said we have responsibility to give out what has been given and in your mind right now there's a battle developing because in the spirit world I am a war and the kingdom that keeps you passive is under my radar and it knows that I know it exists and it knows how it controls you and so don't I write down to each one of your individual lives I know you and a person in here I don't know your battles I don't know your journey and and I understand the big hand of hell that's against you from doing anything but here's your Lord Satan or Jesus are you sure that was a very shallow answer you're still in first Corinthians 14 follow after charity our love and desire spiritual and some of your Bibles who had the word gifts one of the things I like about the King James Version it's this integrity of language and this is a good time if you have a King James Version that the word gifts should be italicized are you anybody reading the Bible with me or are you just kind of you're reading with me is the word gifts italicized in some of your Bibles it may not be in all of them but it should be now the word gifts here is not in the language it's not a direct translation there is not a Greek word that has not been translated gifts ever found in manuscript evidence so somebody added the word gifts to give a flow of meaning so I want you to take the word gifts and drop it out because it's not really there so I'm not taking away from God's Word I'm not doing anything I'm simply help you understand language issues but why they put gifts in there will certainly be seen as to why they would have put it in there to get the flow of meaning when I finished my discussion then you understand the intelligence of the thinking behind it so if we're going to read this will say follow after charity which means love and desire spiritual desire could I add things that are spiritual if you're being led by your soul you're not spiritual because the Bible says does not say first many there's led by their souls are the sons of God it does not say for as many as led by their emotions and feelings are the sons of God it says those that are led by what the Spirit Holy Spirit those are led by the Spirit of God are the sons / and daughters of God now we get down to who's a son and who's a daughter now we became sons and daughters when we became born-again many of us that's it in the world but do we ever grow up are we looking for somebody to take care of us lot of people are making God like a daycare center you check in for life and somebody pampers you feeds you changes your diaper and you think you're okay but you've never matured spiritual God is a spirit you are a spirit you are a son and daughter of the father that you are supposed to be spiritual not bound by the humanism and the psychological defects of the soul of mankind you're to look down on that even in your own lives you look down on things that you've inherited you look down on humanism you look down on the heresies and all the deficiencies of intellectual conclusion and you to look down on it but you don't have to be embroiled with it and sometimes we forget that were the head for acting like the tail why are we acting like the tail when we are the head everything in eternity is centered on sons and daughters working with the Father and the Lord Jesus in the new millennium new heavens new earth and even though the world is upside down in his sermon it doesn't mean a hill of beans this is our planet we are true owners of it Jesus gave it back to us and we're here perfecting our own lives and helping others be perfected in their lives which is learning how to be spiritual not carnal or soulish but we act just like animals sometimes move by our emotions full of fear and we bite if somebody comes too close are we snarl and somebody petting us so much self-hatred you have in your arena you have hundreds and hundreds of people who need you not to be there Holy Ghost but to be a lover of their soul and their spirit some people won't hang out with sinners because they feel like it's beneath them Jesus is a friend of sinners Jesus that didn't come for the righteous I came for who so would you come for just for the rights you want to have the righteous Club can you hang out with people that are kernel I didn't say fellowship with them and then say partake of their sins or do you walk on the other side of the street because you're more holy than they are or have we taught holding this so much and so deeply that everybody else around stinks except us that's self-righteousness sometimes you have to be careful religious spirits that try to make you seem like you can't even be exposed to things that may be of the devil because somehow you may be contaminated you can only be contaminated and there's something in you already desiring it I left the sterility cup a long time ago called organized Christianity mr. ility club a sterile ones and I just decided to be a believer spiritual your scriptures are spirit because the Living Word is a being second member of the eternal Godhead he spirit the word he speaks a spirit there's power in the words that are spirit there's very little power in the words that are soulish except the control men at the soulish level are you spiritual don't answer if you are spiritual or do you could you be more spiritual no you're already spiritual enough it's just not walking in it there's the Holy Spirit's 100 percent spiritual all the time and so when you're born again by the Spirit of God and he comes in baptism the Holy Spirit to do the works of God in Jesus name the Holy Spirit is undiminished we just don't participate with the Father Son and Holy Ghost that's what diminishes our spirituality we're honest to participate with a father in Jesus name as the work of the Holy Spirit incredible things begin to happen in my life there were miracles that have happened that are incredible I could talk for hours about the things and the miracles that God has done at my hands in Jesus name but why talk about myself sometimes being a pastor is lonely because honestly it's more fun out there head-to-head with Satan in Jesus name with healing and deliverance and miracles and mighty cures because because those people that sometimes you find are ready to receive because I've tried everything else but it seems to be in my journey that I'm not called to go and do the things I used to do when I was learning it's going to another level but it's not for my advantage it's for your advantage and others advantage spiritual if you go back go into first Corinthians 12 just go back a couple chapters in verse 1 you're going to have the harmony of this thought now concerning spiritual gifts oh there it is now we found the same wording in two different chapters chapter 12 chapter 14 is the gifts italicized there also so it doesn't say now now concerning spiritual gifts it says now concerning spiritual , I would not that you be ignorant I'm here today because I don't want you ignorant and if you already know what I'm teaching then where is the fruit so I don't need intellectually converted sons and daughters I need activated sons and daughters not just those that know truth but those that are doers of the truth to be here of the word and not be a doer is not acceptable I said to be a hearer and not a doer is unacceptable to God if I could speak for the father this morning I would say to you in Jesus name being a hearer and not a doer is unacceptable because why you would you need to hear truth and there's no fruit of it why then what purpose is truth truth must always bear fruit you look around the world error is bearing fruit as the work of the Spirit of the devil is it not then how come it's easy for a world to embrace the spirit of error than to embrace the spirit of truth you are we really interested in embracing the spirit of truth or should we bring you to a comfortable spirit of error teaching that you can feel comfortable in your drifting boat there's no good fishing in shallow water no good fishing in shallow water and it could be that deep this morning is calling deep is there deep waters flowing in you other deep waters deep waters now concerning spiritual I would not that you be ignorant at 14 again and desire spiritual but rather that you may prophesy and doesn't make you a prophet only a prophet can know the future but every believer is called to be moved on according to truth by the Holy Spirit to represent the Father and Jesus in the corporate body you cannot the Holy Spirit cannot use you if you're not made yourself available I made myself available and I learned and only mentor I had was the Bible because what I was thing in the Bible the Christian churches that I hung out with were just a vapor of what I read should I follow the vapor or shall I follow the truth I found in God's Word should I follow denominational catechism or should I follow truth that's where the deep is the deep is found there but only if your doer of what you find in the deep which is truth then you have to make yourself available for truth to be manifest to all men that they may know God through you prophecy there are those prophesy by the Spirit of God and there are those that prophesy out of their own soul to be heard of men or it's possible a spirit of divination can use the souls of men to represent a false word or an imitation or a counterfeit these are all variables the spirit of divination loves Christians but the spirit of divination and this verdant divination can speak truth but there's a wrong spirit behind it the sort of divination the moment that was following Paul in the group was crying listen to these men they're men of God hear what they have to say was that truth but she kept saying it over and over again as a distraction because she was calling attention to herself that she would be known as an Oracle then she'd be known as someone who was representing God thereby she had great value so she thought and Paul didn't do anything right away but eventually he turned to her and he spoke to a spirit and in the Greek he called it Python serpent and he looked at her and said Python it's pretty divination we look that up come out of this woman because that evil spirit of divination was a source of her spiritual spirituality but it wasn't true spirituality and it came out and she lost all of her powers I would rather speak for God by the Holy Spirit then speak as if it were God by an evil spirit and their Christian Church is filled with evil spirits prophesying through humans as if it were God and it's a tragedy and there's nobody present to rebuke it to cast it out or to change it it just goes on down and then in the prophetic movement their position is if it's fifty percent right isn't that wonderful you didn't read your Bible and Jeremiah did you a prophet can never be wrong one time folks or else you ought to fear him are we prepared to be spiritual there are those that in the open life from time to time here will bring forth the prophecy we listen very careful as our elders we're not we don't have a negative thought about it but we have a discerning thought about it was the person prophesying out of their own heart their own solar they're not their heart but they're prophesying our own emotions or feelings that they have a need to be somebody and that was their way of trying to appear spiritual did they have an evil spirit using them or was it holy spirit the first thing that is said here is desire what as an expression of spirituality as prophesy one of the first the the first things spiritual other than different things but the first thing spiritual in vain of what I'm teaching that the Holy Spirit decided that he would trust Henry with was the spirit of prophecy and it was judged accurate every single time by leadership so God wanted to use Henry by his spirit to bring information for what three how do you judge prophecy we've taught you well here what are the three litmus tests if a person speaking in the name as if it were the Holy Spirit not saying it wasn't what are the three things you're looking forward to judge it got it go real slow what's the first one edification exhortation and comfort that one time is it foretelling not one time is it future telling sometimes the father by his spirit wants to come through yielded individuals fell upon us and he does it from heaven through sons and daughters who are yielded to the Holy Spirit that the Holy Spirit can speak to them now here's the next thing the Bible says let every man / woman I'll just throw that in if I use the word man do you ladies know including you you have to say that every time / woman okay well I don't want you to feel left out huh but then it says let every man prophesy according to the measure of his faith God's not going to give you something to say it isn't part of the fabric of your spirituality already you cannot know scripture if you've not read it you cannot know scripture if you've not only read it but you have not tucked it away so the fabric of that truth is ingrained in with you and you don't have to read it word for word now maybe you read it word for word because you want to get it right there leave things out but the gist of it you should have in your heart right so God's gonna use you at the level of which you are participating with him and his word and he wants to work through you that we may be what it f ID exhorted or comforted if somebody gets up and prophesy and starts the Bible thump you and a woman years ago she was a board member on the first church that I pastor and she would get up in services and begin in what seemed to be in the spirit and halfway through it there'd be like a shadow come across to her faith and every one of us in the room and couldn't knows that her born-again we're going to hell for some reason and it was so judgmental it was so and I was so grieving that people were struggling because they felt so condemned and I was and I wasn't my first pastor it so you know I'm not you know I'm going well I'd only gonna do this people are troubled I was more than troubled so I asked her to come over to my house one day because she had said to me early on when she came to became part of our fellowship past two you ever see anything in me it's not of God I want you to tell me I learned from that day than anybody says that to me is gonna be a problem in the future count on it because if you do tell him you will regret the day you were born serious thing being and so I'm very careful when I come and try to make an adjustment in the spirituality of a person's life because they may not want to be changed and I've walked into a territory even God can is not even working what do you think I am so I'm even better all misery until a funny wake up one day in figures not working right unless they're causing trouble in the church then I had to do something because I have a flock to protect is that not true I will not allow too much to happen in here nor will our elders that will be dangerous to your spirituality and your families in your lives we're not gonna allow it because that's part of our job is to guard the flock it's part of our job a lot of people haven't liked that part of me over the years but that's the way it is so I'm to my house she came over and sat down I got on my knees she was in a big easy chair there I got on my knees and I held her hands I loved her so much you know in the proper sense and I was actually crying and I said sister you you said if there's anything that I saw in your life that maybe it wasn't of God that when I please tell you I'm here I think you have a spirit of divination I said you know you get up and prophesied in the church and you get up and it starts out really wonderful I mean we're really being edified and who in the right in middle of it something happens in you and we're all evil we're all evil and then the sheep are struggling with condemnation and guilt could if you like I can cast that evil spirit divination out of you if you'd like she didn't agree to that she stiffened and looked at me as well thank you pastor and she walked out of my house and I never saw her again but I did get a letter and it wasn't pretty and what she said to me how dare you question my spirit how dare you question whether it's God speaking through me or not she said I'm just like Jeremiah when I speak as if it were the Prophet note back thank you for input as a little sister the spirit of the profits are subject to the prophets this prophets doesn't bear witness with your spirit why don't you come home let me remove that evil spirit divination from you so that you can be God can really use you to edify us I never saw her again to this day I've never seen her again but where she went because spirit of divination must always go somewhere to manifest and spirit of divination go to church that's where the woman that had a spirit of divination she was following the revival services she was following the Apostles that were preaching this new this great gospel that came to Jesus and she was in the crowd so the first place spirit didn't a divination likes to go it's the church and find somebody to use to misrepresent the holy spirit and that spirit of damnation can say things that seem so right sometimes I'll tell you this that wherever she went she took that spirit of divination with her and they will manifest in every church she goes to and she'll be a problem she walked away from her freedom there are those that should be prophesying here in the open the mic you're not what did Paul say about prophet like then he did they say he wish you all would speak in tongues did he say he wish you all would prophesy can you find our scriptures for me that he wishes she almost speak in tongues can you find the one that says that maybe you wish y'all would prophesy can you find that for me if you're going to be spiritual and if you want to tie the word if you're going to tie the word gifts now which was italicized back the word spiritual then we're about to walk into the manifestation of the Holy Spirit through the sons and daughters for bearing fruit say bearing fruit that the fullness of the Godhead can be manifested a corporate Church and listen to what I just said the fullness of the Godhead can manifest as a corporate assembly if you look at the gifts of the Holy Spirit 1st Corinthians 12 there are a nine of them three have to do with thought three have to do with speech and three have to do with action three represent the father to represent the Living Word and three represent the Holy Spirit so when you put all nine together you have the in a corporate assembly you have the fullness of the Godhead available to manifest for the benefit of the flock anyone would have problems with what I'm saying which is very biblically based then I would say you have a spirit a rebellion because you're not under authority of the word I said you not under authority of the word I learned from Washington II don't believe all the things that watched me talk but in this one got my attention it says you cannot be in authority if you're not under Authority Jesus himself was under the authority of the Father he was not a maverick he was not out doing his thing and it wasn't the father's will is that true he was under total submission to the Father in fact the scriptures say about Jesus Jesus the father and I are one there's that pearl unity the father and I are a pearl unity Akkad but the father is greater than I if you go to the to to the God the order of Corinthians it says the head of the man is Christ the head of the woman is the man the head of Christ is God who the Father so there's there's an order in the Godhead and that order of the Godhead flows down into the man and the woman and then down into the church and it's all defined already in Scripture then why have we deviated maybe some people aren't teaching sound doctrine anymore and it's become a free-for-all if you jump of an airplane and freefall and don't have your parachute you're gonna die maybe we need today to stay alive listen I start hangar bay rigid you have a scripture all right I'm gonna bring the mic to you so everybody can hear you if they can't hear you then they're not being edified first Corinthians 14 verses 1 through 5 follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts but rather that you may prophesy for he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men but unto God for no man understandeth him howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries but he that's prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification and exhortation and comfort that was verse 3 he that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifies himself but he that prophesies edifies the church I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that he prophesied for greater is he that prophesy ahthe than he that speaketh with tongues except he interpret that the church may receive edifying pretty clear how many are to prophesy how many are to prophesy is that spiritual that there are there are ways that that the father can use you in 1st Corinthians 14 and we're not there yet but I'll just tell you in the early church it says when you come together I already have a son all of you have a doctrine only if you have a revelation all of you have a tone all of you have an interpretation then all things be done unto what so will have no screamers you talk to each other screaming but only when you're angry I've heard people feel that the louder they screaming and the latter they are it must be God that proves nothing that's the work of the flesh so we had the prophecy now prophecy is not you now if you have a revelation then you could you could come and share and the open mic with how the Word of God is working richly in your life you got it you mix your faith with it you heard you became a doer and the results came God honored you but you had a revelation that make it possible if you don't believe God heals today he doesn't for you but it'll take revelation from the word to believe that God heals today because he said to the word he does then you embrace that as the revelation for you a doctrine is a scripture reading none of the nomination of catechism not on a wives faith fable not some kind of Solis thought you think might be biblical what's the old one cleanliness is next to godliness is that in the Bible how many parents use that under kids how many parents use then on their kids but the Bible says and say it at all so sometimes in the open mic you can give a testimony you can give scripture reading that's doctrine all scripture David can you find me the scripture I want you to read it all Scripture is profitable for instruction I want you to read it I want you to listen to the word your guys still tracking with me is very important service this morning because I want this fellowship to be spiritual not soulish and and I want to make sure that we all have discernment but there's so much fear in this room there is so much fear of man in this room that you could cut it like a knife now there's one thing to have a respect for God but you don't have to be afraid of him and you don't have to be afraid for the Holy Spirit to use you here we'll we're on your side but if it's your prophesying out of your soul or some evil spirit that's using you we will know because we're spiritual your leaders are quite spiritual we not be totally spiritual as we could be because we're still growing up right say we're still grow no but if you if you want to stop growing there's 150 churches within 50 miles of here that stopped growing 100 years ago and they're traditional I'm not interested in traditional but the foundation of traditional should have been enough to keep us growing so we become stunted we didn't grow and we got stuck if the church is 150 100 miles I'm here 150 churches or spiritual there'd be Devils cast out there bees there'd be healings that be cured there would be place to be filled because of the miraculous power got working and it's not even happening in this church like it should be and I'm concerned and I'm not gonna be quiet why should I be quiet if I'm be quiet it's very dangerous for you that's my family when I not talking be careful I will speak eventually and there'll be change coming because I don't want to be in somebody's face all the time I guess it's so hard to have a relationship when you got and somebody is so hard to have relationship isn't it but I must represent God first and you understand that don't you and I'm not upset one single bit head this morning I have a zeal and I have a zeal for you and I have a zeal for your community I have a zeal for your families I have a zeal for your marriages I have a zeal for everything that's of God why not when the Son of Man returns shall he find faith in the earth not fear well I might say something wrong that's fear well I might have a devil it's the best thing that ever happened it speaks here because you're safe here with your Devils we'll help you get rid of them how's that snack but we know you're not a devil so you got to stop thinking like yar I may have ever had a leaky nose are you a leaky nose or do you have a nose is leaking what are you are you a leaky nose no you're on you have a nose that's doing what leaking there's hope for you noses don't leak forever so this is a safe place you'd find that Scripture David I'm trying to say this Cameron's because we got people watching and yeah England and places like that yeah I've been told lately I wander too much these services are going out to our commerce community in the acts churches and I want to make sure that we did not hear your voice from outer space what do you have David hey this is second Timothy chapter 3 I'm actually gonna read about four verses here 2nd Timothy chapter 3 starting in verse 14 but continue thou in the things which thou has learned and has been assured of knowing of whom thou has learned them and if I'm a child that has known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine for reproof for correction for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works read the last verse again that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works and when before then all Scripture is given by inspiration of God yeah let's go real slow all scripture how much all is given by the inspiration so that's the beginning of spiritual being is spiritual so if you're gonna prophesy according the measure of your faith your faith is your spiritual but it's based on the Word of God which is spiritual so go ahead what's the rest so it's given by inspiration of God and is profitable profitable that's good it's better than losing things prophesy profitable profitable for what for doctrine doctrine sound doctrine if he doctrine no doctrine heresy what do you want I you serious you want sound doctrine would you'd rather have a lie would you do that hat truth repackage for your convenience you have the right answers that's not good for you or is it my sounds you got there or reproof oh not that one love never reproves or does it does what does the same for correction correction how many of you ever been driving down the road and weren't paying attention my wife says I do this all the time I'm the happy wanderer when I Drive and she says because today when you drive you hit those little bumps know what those little reflector things and when you get on them it goes bump bump bump bump and my wife says you're off your lane you know how closely now you got your centerr stripe right but they don't put the little reflectors in the yellows they put it on your lane so how can you stay in your lane and not hit the bubble it's hard so my wife is my course corrector course and the minute I hear these I I wander over and it goes boom I'm waiting for my correction so I'm learning how to stay in my lane so I'm learning course correction it's no fun I want to be the happy one during one down the highway looking left and right they're gonna come way down okay she sees a car coming down the road she Henry's a car coming I'm still wandering looking around so I've got GPS I've got wife PS she's a good one she's non-invasive she's just you know if I had if I was a passenger I drove like me I think I'd have a trouble if I was a passenger why don't you go for instruction in righteousness instruction and unrighteousness instruction do you think instruction is evil do you think righteousness is evil do you think this is a ring curve here today you think there's services a learning curve for you well I want you to take your learning curve and go do something with it if you can't participate in the safety of this setting you're not going to be very very much out there you're not I won't ask you the question that's in my mind it's too invasive thank you David so you got something I say you came up with that function it's it's a small one but it's an action not something your small unction czar like kaboom well you know honestly to speak Frank and bold is most of the folks in this room have been sitting under this teaching which is really the word for a long time there may be some new some as always I'm not saying that everyone has has great understanding of their belt and walking things out etc but one of the things that I really feel that is being brought forth today is that and even last Sunday it was about will you commit yourself to pray well I will you commit yourself to do this okay will you do this and so here we are again only from a different perspective will you do this okay it's not it's no longer you should do this it's God is asking will you do this okay now will you do what well will you move on in your world as far as walking out things will you come up for you know up here and start to really allow God to use you because we need you so I'm reading in Hebrews this is the scripture that was prompted to me is Hebrews 10 and of course the first part of this is talking about everything that the Lord Jesus did for us all the provisions he made how now boldly should be coming forth with something and um I'm okay so I'm reading in verse 23 well let me go in twenty-two let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed pure with with pure water and this is 23 let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised and this is number 24 verse 24 this is where I was going and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works so Henry's right now pastor he's provoking you to good works and then course David just read what he did not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is but exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the Day approaching I don't know about you but I see the Day approaching so what I heard up here was that we we have been living in a fear of what man might think of us being wrong remember being wrong we're making being right an idol in our lives oh don't say that say it again well no one ever wants to be wrong an idol you mean having to be right is a form of idolatry yes now I want you to hear this though we should want to be right according to God's Word no question but we haven't all got there yet but if we don't make mistakes along the way that can be corrected because someone hurt her saw if you don't come up front if you don't do things that are make you uncomfortable then how will you know you're even on the right track here comes the next catch let's say you come up and you're let's say it was soulish let's say maybe you did have a little help from another lucky pucky or maybe you quoted a scripture wrong because you had fear if one of our elders including myself come to you privately to discuss what happened are you going to be okay with our approach or are you gonna leave the church are you gonna get a few friends around you to make sure that they're on your side do you can cause a debate that's what usually happens you find a few other people who will agree with you and we end up with a division are you able to take course correction from leadership that wants God to use you you're pretty much familiar with sports aren't you you know that even the professional golfers have a have a golfing coach that watches our swing and they're getting a little off in the swing and you know you know you know that a coach always tells his players how they could do it better is that there's a player have a problem when the coach says you didn't do it the way it could have been done how is it the world is so able to take correction for wrong reasons or shallow reasons and we're not able to take this type of maturity as sons and daughters in your value and who you are is listen sports teams come and go it's like water down the bridge but your eternal and your being trained for the future how can you judge the world and the Bible says that you will judge the world you will rule with a rod of iron in Millennium how can you do that when we won't allow ourselves to be judged we're not asking you to do something wrong we want this fellowship to be truly correctly spiritual not eleven mismatched of nothing you know I understand that there are situations that come in life where you should have probably you know a private setting to be able to discuss you know maybe things that you're not perceiving correctly and and I and I understand that but really I really believe that the Assembly of God is supposed to be a learning experience for everyone I believe that's where the giftings make make yourself known I mean David was excuse me David was found you know in in the sheepfold so to speak that's really where the makings of what God's giftings are in each of you come forth so if they're not being exercised in a public setting no one's ever going to see it unless you have a little group on the side that you're just speaking to and you're safe there but it's that's totally out of order okay that's out of order little counseling sessions on the side that's out of order unless it was given to you to do by leadership and and so the thing is is that going back to being right is being you've made we've all done this by the way made being right the idol of our lives that's that's that's a society that it is it is Acastus but it's not God's thinking because growing up no requires mistakes being made okay that's just really the way it is you know whether it's the animal kingdom or whether it's us mistakes have to be made to be writed course correction and so being afraid to come up because I might have an evil spirit speaking through me or I might be in the flesh or I just didn't get it that that really limits God's ability to be able to grow you up now I don't know about you but some of us in this room we're in the end times regard whether it's actually n times because the the dispensational clock is ticking or whether your biological clock is okay just being honest okay so yeah we don't have time to just to mess around okay because I'm sure that each and every one of you want to glean as much of God's growing up that he can do with you while you're here in this this phase of eternity so most people like the idea of being able to have the freedom that we have here they like must and they like the idea that doesn't necessarily mean they're comfortable with the idea okay two differences yes I love having freedom what you're gonna do with it okay that's usually the case now the fact is is that coming up here is taking a chance in your feeling okay with you you're safe here I don't care if you if you said you know God lives on Pluto and has you know 14 dogs and that's what he likes to do I mean that's ridiculous right but even if that were the case there's still a teaching curve and a learning curve that can come I'm sorry let's look at Scripture and see what that is I'm gonna be honest with you right now I see a lot of you are robbing us of a learning experience because you're not willing to take the chance to be wrong my goodness okay you're probably going to be right that probably with the percentages cuz most have you been taught really well you're able to discern stuff but you just might need a little tweaking is all now we're not God okay the leadership is not God and there's always that possibility we can be wrong okay I'm gonna say that but we're teachable to show me where that is we're good so see what I'm saying we're all being robbed of the learning experience time is ticking tick tick tick tick tick tick and we need to move on we've been talking about this for a very long time yes there are some of you out there who definitely have divination absolutely I am positive but I'm not gonna walk up to you and tell you that as much as I want to but because God wants us to be a learning curve for everyone to be able to discern both good and evil why would I want to rob God of the benefit of having a teaching reality for us all the assembling of ourselves together is a big class we have classes for everybody coming here this is our class I want them to really hear what you're saying this is this is where we come to Iraq how cool is that not to be just spectators now I am pretty sure you believe that we want the best for you and that this is a safe place or you wouldn't be here okay so that's unless I say that that's a done deal will you be embarrassed by being pointed out that you are wrong that depends on you well you won't do well it's the judgment seat of Christ if you do I really honestly think if it does it feel good to be told you're wrong never it never feels good to be told you're wrong I'm hoping one day we'll all get there you know when that's all shaved off and it doesn't matter but really the most important thing that matters is that God's character I didn't read this but I should have is that his laws are written on our heart that's where there ten and and so you know writing something that's one thing it's written on your heart being but being a doer of those laws written there is different and having those laws actually become character to you is because you did something with it just because I learned you know you know for God so loved the world he gave His only begotten Son just cuz I learned that doesn't mean my character became changed because of that it's because I believed it walked it out made sacrifices to look stupid to people who don't believe that you know we're gonna have to undo some really bad iniquity that's come into the church that's hindering and move the Holy Spirit and the sons and daughters in the world first of all as when you're growing up in childhood and in business and in school if you did something wrong it was Judgment Day you weren't bad because you do something wrong doesn't mean you're bad you're gonna have to come it's a part of your fear you've been trained that you're only accepted when you do it good that's your problem so because you had this mindset that you're only accepted when you do it good and you're somehow rejected in your bed if it doesn't come out of exactly right you've been trained for failure you've been trained for fear you've been trained actually you've been trained that the Holy Spirit's having difficulty even working with some of you that he wants to I know when I wasn't cutting my teeth on this thing that was in a large church and the first gift that the Holy Spirit gave moosa gets prophecy and i check check check check check check in this god wanted to speak to me and i go check check check check check one day when the elders came up to me at the end of a service you've heard this or some of you before and he wasn't smiling is it Henry God spoke to me about you and you're in sin now what are you gonna do with a elder comes up to you and says you're in sin now you're gonna have to draw back on your nicotine your fear of failure and all the other people that said your bed and your evil but didn't do things wrong I didn't take that position I just asked him which one which one ICU and I would get you next which one he said God has given you the gift of prophecy and he wants to speak through you and you won't let him you have so much fear you but being wrong that you check check check check check check that God spoke to me to give you words and I said what is the word he said God said if you don't stop quenching his spirit to use you to speak to the body he's told me to tell you he's gonna withdraw his spirit from you and this gift for a season that you appreciate his voice when it comes again what are you gonna do when you get that kind of word cop an attitude would draw no I mean that was shocking to me and it was a while before my service but it didn't have a bad attitude I've never had a bad attitude when I've been corrected I'm bosses and what I mean that's that's what you do I've been a boss I've run big businesses and yeah people that don't know what day it is when they work for you it happens so you have to train them cross train them do anything to bring them to a place that we act as they grew well what I want to also say in this is that you're robbing us as well because we need to learn how to be able to throw down that card and not and not feel afraid of how you're gonna feel about that card okay so for those that don't know what this card is we have cards in the back that gives us understanding of what you want to bring forth again has a yellow one now right right I'm not throwing this out for you by the way so but the thing is is that but let's just say just for instance ends up here and she's giving you an exhortation and it's going great and all of a sudden it takes a curve that is not a good one okay we're discerning you started in the spirit and went in the flesh okay that's confusing to the sheep they're thinking because we're letting them keep talking and talking that it's go ahead go ahead it's good it's good food they hear what she said it's good food you're safe to eat listen to this okay but what happens if it was good for a while and then all sudden it took it took a turn you need to go sit down okay so that tells everybody that something happened that's no longer spirit-led anymore or it might be spirit led it could be a different one or it's flesh led that just tells everybody we're paying attention and we'll talk to you about that or maybe right now we're gonna talk about why that wasn't in the right vein anymore what happened and then so instead of it being like oh I must be the devil no one's ever gonna be any attention to me again I'm just and go into all the despair of failures instead of doing that we're gonna go what happened wouldn't it be great if if that person you know had divination speaking Wingo oh that's an easy fix let's just get rid of that thing or maybe it was just some some kind of old thinking that seeped in that wasn't of God or maybe it was you know just a misunderstanding of something and that meant or maybe they thought it made sense or maybe they went a wrong they went a direction that we didn't agree with and maybe they're right maybe they were right we need to all go whoa wait a minute we need to stop and can ponder and consider this so you see what I'm saying is that by not coming forth if you don't have it all together I don't anybody here does it's okay I can tell you the leadership is not going to judge you as being you know a reprobate you know no help for you and God stuff no there's definitely help for you and god you're here you want to be that's that's a plus nobody actually drug you here I don't think we certainly didn't chain you the seats so do you hear what I'm saying and I really really hear the Spirit of God saying yeah gotta get past this we all have to get past this do you think it's easy for me to think oh gosh I mean there's times Henry has wanted to throw the card he says Donna Donna I said baby just listen to it just let's hear it out Donna and and and I'm probably the worst because I don't want you to be to crawl back in your hole and we don't see you for another two years okay now I want to say this and I love I love my husband dearly he has come a long way in his skills of telling people they're wrong and we hear the nervous giggles because he Henry doesn't think thing he doesn't feel things like you think people feel thing he's not he's not like me I'm always considering I think we need to go this I should Henry says Donna you should have been an ambassador okay because I'm always thinking about everybody think it but it's very tiring but anyway Henry just goes and whoever stands stands yeah no vote for yours is that oh yeah you know I'm like a Doberman Pinscher I bite you then I lick your wounds later I'm gonna tell you what anyone that's in leadership especially the guys totally understand what I'm saying he went if if if Pastor Scott was wrong he says you're out to lunch you are wrong okay I mean there's no no flowering things up John and David know the same thing pastor Benny knows they they Henry just comes in and goes slice okay and hope you make it I bet you hope you love me because that's the way it is now he's gotten better over the years he has got a little little fluff and father any you know what I mean he's instead the warrior man he's still a warrior but he's gotten more fatherly so we he needs the experience on how to think about how he's going to tell someone that's not exactly right and I made the experience that I'm not hovering like a mother over her head so people you careful be careful don't this is what I do okay so I made him eat more slicey and I see and he needs to be more so what we're learning to do that but we as leaders need the opportunity to and so do you are you gonna cast down the idol of being right all the time that's the word of the day I hear it I are so strongly in the spirit that that it requires no it requires no faith when you have fear I mean there's just no faith there there's none in God he's not moved by fear he's moved by faith now I talked to David prior to this back there sitting in in in the open mic and there's a certain type of excitations or testimonies we're not going to let come today because I don't want you to feel obligated to come up here just because we gave you the exhortation to now get off your seat you're gonna go home and you're gonna pray and you're gonna ask God and you're gonna deal with stuff that's in the way and you're gonna come and our next services allowing the Holy Spirit to move and breathe with you I just because I said this I don't expect twenty people to come up here that's not what this is about yes it's not a this one sprit of God is saying here does not need a series of excellent points to make the point yeah there right there right there right there right that is and there's were divination there's where divination gets its first event is I have to say something to authenticate another here the leadership here the man of God speaking he is right he is right he is right now here comes divination Joe might take something wrong now now dedicating what's been said by leadership and then doing just a little twist that can lead many astray here's the deal Gruber is very good we're at the Holy Spirit will bear witness within you you don't need 14 people to speak something what the Holy Spirit has already borne witness in your life you need to learn to have the witness of the Holy Spirit and so we find many times well sometimes I just be honest not that I'm not honest probably should get rid of that that expression but but sometimes when the Spirit of God is moving and we have things like this happening and it's not as bad as it used to be in the past there'd be a long line that people start to form in the open mic to be heard I almost wonder in the past why sometimes we've just cleaned the deck over there and said we know what anybody to talk because the Spirit God has spoken you don't need you don't need to keep drumming it down just embrace what's better gonna sing if you're listening now with all that being said I want to say this church are doing great you really are we're at a place now that God just wants to kick it up a notch again okay mom I know this is mom but I'm telling you they are they're doing really wonderful in so many areas well how about some more areas okay time to kind of move along here you've got some feathers in your cat but but your you don't have a full headdress okay so listen so I want to say I don't want you to feel beaten down by what we're saying I want you to be lifted up that that they were trusting each other with all this they wanted to think one of the things that I mentioned to you is this scripture in Corinthians 14 begins immediately with prophecy and yeah give me just minute then I inserted later on chapter 14 verbling then when you come together all you have a psalm have a doctrine have a revelation have a tonal interpretation then we then we learn right upfront and 14 that the prophecy sometimes is more important in a tone later on these chapters chapter 13 14 12 13 14 of Corinthians we find that tongues interpretation should not be heard in a corporate assembly at all if we're all on the same page and like-minded it's a sign to the unbelievers and we have taught this in the past so as Paul drills and I'm gonna read this later not today but maybe another time Paul Paul drills down a said if somebody's having to speak in tongues that's like an uncertain sound what does it mean who cares you don't know and it's not a defying unless it be an interpretation and then it goes on and says and you're not the one to give your own interpretation it does say that he that prays an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret that is in your personal prayer time but in the corporate assembly so you don't stay over there and the corporate assembly it says this that if you're gonna speak in an owner own tone first of all there's an unbeliever it could be an unbelieving Christian could be an unbelieving non-christian there's somebody there that needs to be convinced to gods and their midst that's what it says and but if you're gonna give a message in tongue you first must understand inquire is their interpreter that is present if there is none you're to not speak in tongues corporate in the corporate assembly whatsoever even if you had an unction you stop that there's no interpreter now we get we have to practice things not according to rote ritual not instinct or denominational catechism or ways of the way Church does it we have to whatever we do here has to be supported by Scripture otherwise it's the Catechism and catechism may not be doctrine it may be rules of men because men decided to have it that way so if we get into discussions and by the way if you here in this service at any time and you're not sure that what we're doing is of God ask and listen these are the rules you ask don't leave out of here make up all kinds of things that we didn't say that's evil you ask why you're here and we are required and you're required to not just us you're believers are required if anybody asks you for the reason for your faith or your belief system you're to give them an answer you're to give them an answer so we're required to give you a scripture that answer has to be based on Scripture to give you an answer as to what is the basis for our agreement of function here together according to scripture said well we don't do that in our church I can't help that we're following the Bible and what you'll find people that don't follow the Bible have all kinds of excuses why they don't follow the Bible and so they practice what's called oral tradition or oral tradition is dangerous catechism is dangerous it ruined Judaism it ruined Catholicism and is about to ruin Christianity because nowhere is people sending around the engrafted word of God which is sound doctrine however sound doctrine is the plumb line it drops standard and either side of that plumb line is where you find yourself or on the plumb line now we want to follow God's Word here and it isn't because we like it because the flesh is at war with the spirit being spiritual the kingdom of Satan through us is at war with the Spirit of God don't tell me you don't know this there's a war going on be in all of us and in the whole thing because of this issue but at some point we have to maintain being spiritual and we're not spiritual them or soulish which is animalistic so if we started this conversation this morning with challenging you and what is spiritual did I not then I move quickly into what is prophecy now here's the next thing we've already covered this but I'm going to cover it again but we want to make sure it's a Spirit of God that is speaking through us but remember every man woman shall prophesy how because of their great knowledge of the whole Bible now what did I teach you is in the Bible according to the measure of their faith so the Holy Spirit can only use what you've already tucked - wait that's what he uses then he brings forth something for what edification exhortation and comfort that we all might be edified now in this edification truth is not a weapon sound doctrine is not a weapon error is a weapon error is destructive and so we're in the process of learning well listen we're barely out of the dark ages there's been moves of the Holy Spirit in the church from time to time no question but those revivals began with repentance for sin every single major revival began with repentance for sin there was a move of the Holy Spirit where the Holy Spirit got to the Holy Spirit decided that men should know that sin is dangerous that sin will remove you from the presence of God that sin is something as the work of the devil where the devil is Lord of your life not Jesus so there's a time in being spiritual here that you have to decide do you want to be spiritual and that's not divination make you woo there are people don't have an identity they have to be seen and heard for wrong reasons so that's another issue that's prophesy another soul so we want to grow but we can't grow in fear as where you were at earlier you can't grow in fear this open mic is not a place of dread it's a place of expression where you're expressing by the Spirit of God things the Spirit of God wants to say why that we may be edified by what you say based on truth based on the Word of God and this is where I've dropped up I'm dropping a plumb line last year I I taught the overcomers Academy and an etiquette class and we had a great time it was wonderful but I would ask questions sometimes and of course I had many different age groups and I would ask a question and I would to say so what side does the fork go on and probably ten kids amigo because they want me to call on them right and some of them some of them just wanted to hear their voice they just want to go don't I have a thought yeah they wanted to be known as the knowing one yes they just they just wanted to hear their voice cuz that that's just what they just wanted to they just wanted to be seen and heard and they would go [Music] I don't know enough some people were going oh and they would say it goes on top where the plate is that's not right okay but you tried okay oh they like to do that you know and or some of the older ones will just go you know and so finally someone actually has the right answer and says left but see the whole time that there were wrong answers it was impacting each one saying that isn't the right answer okay so so for to really get it down in their spirit what was the right answer they had a lot of ones that weren't right to be able to go okay that wasn't right but nobody looked at that kid and said boy are you ever dumb but that was stupid answer that question like nobody was like that I wasn't like that the kids weren't like that and no matter how many questions I asked some of the littles especially they just want to have a right answer but they also just want you to hear them okay well we're gonna have people come up here who just want us to hear them that may not be the right reason to come up in fact it's not the right reason to come up just to be heard okay but some of them might really think I think I really have a revelation and understanding and they're gonna come up and they're gonna give us their reasons for why they think the scripture says this or that and it could be totally wrong and most of the time y'all out there go you can hear the thud in the spirit okay that's not quite right you know but then that's the learning time no now cuz honestly teaching etiquette everybody wants to know why is the fork on there on this side when we don't I mean on this side well we don't use it because we're right-handed and we it should be here that's a good question isn't it if whoever knows how to set a table the knife and the spoon are on the right side and the fork is on the left but we eat so we all have have to do this it's good question eat slower so today's digestion that's not why wrong answer but thank you for trying okay it's because originally everyone a with their left hand with the fork and in Europe that's exactly what they do America's rebellious and we decided not to do it that way that's that is really it Americans decided they weren't gonna follow that train they were gonna go ahead and you know what their right knee the way they wanted to that's exactly what they did but really honestly it is easier to eat with the left hand with the fork anyways I mean etiquette class now anyway so that's what we're driving the right side of the road rebellion yes yes so anyway I'm just saying that the reasons for coming up you they need to be understood because if you come up and you just want to talk about things we're all gonna know they just want to be heard okay but if you have a point that you're trying to make or a testimony that's that's really we think in the flow that's fine but sometimes it might not be correct and that's when you go thanks for trying that's a great understanding however let's tweak this a bit okay some people will be right on BAM and for the most part most people really have been right on okay but the reality is is there's probably a lot of out of you out there that could be right on to and we'd like to go yeah that was great and then there's some of us that really could be wrong and but we just need to be told why and we all learn you know how many of you been to a good restaurant I mean and did you want to tell people about it so if I don't hear the good news about the men of God's Word I know you haven't been eating so because of your partaking it has to come up it has to be shared because faith always is proactive faith always produces something of God the other thing is oftentimes is least for myself you guys will come up and share something whether it's a testimony or whatever it is and I may have already known that truth but there was some way that you described or explained that tamped something down within me that I really needed I really needed to hear that little thing right there I really needed that and come forth beer in Germany no I'm teasing I want to share this I think I want it to be edifying to us today and I think it touches on everything Pastor Henry's talked about this morning and what it is it's Wednesday night we had a prophecy to come forth and I got it down just the few other things that the Lord said is he said can I count on you your prayers can be the difference between death and life will you obey me when I call it's serious times you can't wear me out I'm closer than your breath night or day I'm bear and he also said I may give you one word pray about it when I heard that in my mind when hear that last part when he said I I may give you one word pray about it my mind thought one word how do you pray about one word you know I just thought that's kind of odd well the next morning when I opened my eyes the first word that popped in my mind was pure just the word pure and there's probably lots of definitions for this word but I jotted this down not mixed or not poor in quality not inferior not defile or not polluted and when I got about four words in the next few days and when you think when I say these words think about people because that's what they're for they're for the body of Christ they're for the church is a is the body of Christ pure well by me getting that word I felt like it's necessary to pray for the body of Christ that they be pure okay all right and then the next day I got lewdness I thought oh and it says it's the quality of being very secular secular are lustful in an offensive way and I said that probably pertains to the body of Christ let me pray about that let me pray about that because these words wouldn't have just popped in my mind next day adaptability it's the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions and I thought okay I wouldn't have come up with that word either God you're you're you're doing the one word prayer thing so prayed on that for a while that day and then this morning availability popped into my mind when I woke up and I and these are all big words to me I'm not gonna be coming up with these words I assure you and I said okay availability okay let's see what that is the quality of being able to use or attain freedom to do something you understand what I'm saying and so you know what I'm the reason I'm even sharing this with you is that's how important prophecy is the Wednesday night prophecy came forth and that's all you know just one of the things he said he said some wonderful things that bless my heart and comforted me but when he said I may give you one word pray about it this is all these different words and I I expect it until he stops to receive more one words and I know to pray about those one worse and just because those one words this one words you I can assure you it is a whole paragraph of what to pray about or a whole page or a book to pray about just that one word for the body of Christ this is all for the body of Christ he's giving you these things and so personally I want to encourage every everybody I've been here I don't know if it's 17 or 18 years and I've always felt that there are so many people that I have that need to come up and share prophesied our share and edifies you wouldn't believe if I know I'm not the only one that's you know gotten up on Sunday morning and said I could really use some edification I could really use a word from the Lord I and when those times have happened and people would come up to the mic and share they have no idea how much that helped me and they have no idea that just the very thing they get up and speak about was the very thing I had questions about all the week before so you can't don't let the enemy talk you out when hit when the Lord gives you if he can give you one word to pray about he can give you one word to come up and prophesy about and that one word might be just what the whole group here needs to hear about don't lean to your own understanding it doesn't work that way you have got to trust those thoughts that you're receiving that God wants to say something and go ahead and just let him speak through your mouth he bypasses your brain you don't have to think of a thing you just let those words flow and it's him it's him that's using you and edifying the body of Christ and we really need it today that is an absolute perfect revelation see you come together I like we have a song have a doctrine have a what revelation that's revelation what revelation do turns the lights on the subject the doctrine establishes subject revelation turns the lights on the subject so you can apprehend it and know what you're doing you don't have to embellish things aye-aye-aye sometimes when people get up and try to authenticate what they're saying but only they'll say the words I say the law does say that the Lord I didn't find that in Scripture I found thus saith the Holy Spirit so I challenge you to come out of the instinctive catechism of commercial Christianity and here is your new Testament carefully those that spoke would say thus saith what the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost is the one that's here working with us folks representing the Lord representing the father is that not true so be careful of cliches don't pattern yourself after what you've meant they may be grown up would have been around in Christianity because it may have just been the system I challenged you not that not to accuse it or even judge it but simply the purity of it this incredible Laura I wanted to share from John chapter 9 and it's verses 1 through 7 and it says in as Jesus passed by he saw a man which was blind from his birth and his disciples asked him saying master who did send this man or his parents that he was born blind jesus answered neither hath this man sinned nor his parents but that the works of God should be made manifest in him and then he says I must work the works of him that sent me while it is day the night cometh when no man can work as long as I am in the world I am the light of the world when he had thus spoken he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with a clay and said unto him go wash in the pool of Siloam which is my interpretation sent he went his way therefore and washed and came scene and the verse that really struck me was in verse 4 where Jesus says I must work the works of him that sent me and that word must is stood out to me because it was it's necessary and it's just also that example to us when Jesus didn't just stop there I think I'm being challenged by this service because it's really easy for those of us who have been here for a long time because we can tell you Scripture line and verse or even at home I find myself thinking of passages but it's like I stop there I think of the word and I even might talk about the word but I stopped there and Jesus didn't stop there he said I must work the works of him that sent me while it is day the night comes when no man can work as long as I am in the world I in the light of the world and then in verse 6 it says when he had thus spoken here's the action he spat on the ground and made clay the spittle and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay and I think that's I was just being challenged by that verse to not just speak and not just hear not just you know kind of that rote ritual of when you grow up in the church even if you haven't grown up in the church but following Jesus as our head even he said I must do this and he didn't stop there he went on to heal the blind in this case so well you know what's really interesting about this and the spun off with one word revelation was that good Laura you spun off another one must all the rest of you things that were important but really nailed me was the word definition the word must it is necessary now that that word necessary is an activation word when things are necessary you do it don't you is that not true so as the action necessary so I've learned from you today that must is very important to this conversation here today in context is necessary and that necessary includes the whole body every every not one of you will offer and all the fullness of the spirit but together it's possible that the collective weekend now one of you will have all the gifts of the Holy Spirit but it's possible collectively that all nine gifts the Holy Spirit could operate in this fellowship are you tracking to collectively there would be our goal is the collective the key word another key word coming to me I like that so you see you think that is something in and even though you didn't realize that you you just talked another one up I never forget the word must now it's right there just like a neon sign you know what I'm saying and so and so as you flow through these these words and what they mean it's important that you activate with them and what those words mean to you I had another one in my mind it wasn't it wasn't must it was oh I just just just escaped me will come back to me but very big very big Jeff it's your turn well earlier on I was led to uh first lesson Williams chapter four and just never left and it says furthermore then we beseech you brethren and exhort you by the Lord Jesus that as we have received of us how we ought to walk and please God so we would have bound more and more and he ought to walk is what kind of stuck out to me is just ought to walk we've been taught and taught and taught and taught so we can happen abound more and more we're gonna look toward the future instead of the past [Applause] well I we've got lots to keyword ponder say ponder lots of things to think about in our in our journey and so I just the Spirit of God is speaking to you here today I encourage you to come out of your fear oh I had the key word came back to me and escaped here's the word Corinthians gifts of the Holy Spirit desire the best gift for you now that means that God's not gonna just dump on you one of the gifts because he's honoring the idea warm body you're already in motion with God you are already in the home and if I read scripture correctly the Holy Spirit distributes this is a key word the Holy Spirit distributes severally and means through the body individually the gifts to those body members as it has pleased him as it has pleased him so I want to be available that the Holy Spirit can be pleased to work with me it's a decision if I hadn't made myself available years ago I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing today would I so you got to begin somewhere in this relationship with God right where you're at you don't have to go to a cemetery of learning to be used of God you have a Bible do you not it's best you read your Bible first not the words of men that's a safe place to begin to find truth is read your Bible not watch all these youtubes and all these videos and all this being held stuff that's coming out no I'm just kidding it's good as a resource but there's a greater depth as a deep calling deeper than the key word deep going deep there is more to God than what we teach and is found in your Bibles but you'll never get to the deep calling deep in your Bibles if you don't start even learning what's on the surface that's easy to apprehend then that'll leads you into the deeper deeper deeper things of God as the more you study the word the more the Holy Spirit reveals the depth of the meaning to you do word studies get like I hear today just hear these words that is fantastic you know and and let God speak to you and here's where you practice right here is ya practice makes perfect right here is boot camp right here is where you learn right here is where you can you can fall down and get up and it's okay right here you can say it wrong and it's okay we'll get to say it right later but you have to have the experience but if you're not doing anything you'll never have any experience and if you're not prepared to fall you're going nowheres because you're fear-based people that fall everyone makes fun of Peter cuz he went on the water he started to sink are you serious he's the only one that tried so all the people making fun of Peter never tried did they so what are you gonna make fun of a guy that at least tried and it worked there's where you learn you learn learn learn learn learn we're talking about the one word thing mine wasn't a word one word thing but I just can't get rid of the that I'm share this this morning when I was listening to the word I'm in Matthew and this scripture is always kind of you know but it's it's Matthew 16:23 and this is Jesus and Jesus just got done telling him all the things he was gonna have to go do and Peter it in like that in other words because up there it says that um he's basically telling him that things that Peter didn't want him to hear that Jesus was gonna do and so so Jesus turns under Peters has get thee behind me Satan thou thou art an offence unto me for thou savourest not the things that be of God but those that be of men did you really and so yes we know that Peter was speaking from another kingdom and I get that but the savourest thing kind of stuck out to me gosh I hope I can pull it back up I've been trying to find this in the Strong's and then you know I've been trying to listen and all that stuff but but to me I thought that was a strong word to Peter you know cuz Peters not getting all that and so in reference to what we've been talking about today and about not being wrong being an idolatrous thought perhaps so I looked it up in the Strong's with savourest not the things of God's kingdom basically but it means to exercise the mind or entertain or to have a sentiment or an opinion by implication to be mentally disposed more or less earnestly in a certain direction intensely to interest oneself in with concern or obedience set the affection on or be like-minded and I was thinking about that and I was thinking when we make ourselves and our feelings about things that give that to the preeminence such as Peter what I've done no you certainly aren't gonna go through all that no you know you're not gonna do that when we make our feelings to preeminence we're not savoring the things of God's kingdom but we're savoring the things of the other kingdom because the Lord Jesus has said I'm gonna be doing these things you know and and he was basically saying oh no not you Lord he was and he was giving his feelings and saying they are above what Jesus had said so I mean here's Peter following the Lord of course we know he denies him and all that mess we understand that but Peter obviously was led by his feelings about a lot of things and so in conjunction with what we're talking about today make sure we're savoring the things of the kingdom and not of the world and the world's thinking is if it makes me feel bad it's bad and if it makes me feel good it's good so I just wanted to add that in your thinking to be praying about that that particular part of what that whole situation a conversation was with Peter and which was really interesting because later then even with that stinking thinking if you will and the denial reality there was something in Peter that God said I want to build my church upon basically what you really stand for in your spirit man and and and so that should help you to say there we have stinking thinking we have flaws in our thinking but God saw past that and so there was something good that God actually wanted to build upon even when Peter was wrong right exactly so so Peter had to come through that failure and he was not rejected no he never was rejected and and he didn't recover himself yes and but he went on to be ever ever he went on to savor the things of God the rest if he did and he never was bent by fear of man or when men think he he went on to be if they tell me historians say he was a modern capita SIA so he never varied after that and so let's just one more thing to add to the Peter reality Jesus asked him later on do you love me Peter didn't ask him one time well you know I do Lord Peter do you love me okay so now Peter who is often led by how he feels is thinking is he doubting then I don't let that I love him no you know I love you Peter do you love me what okay already somebody's gonna be mad okay if we ask somebody that question do you really love the Lord the first thing oh you know I love the Lord the second time no do you really love the Lord they don't believe I love the Lord so something's happening now third time do you really love the Lord well who do they think they are asking me now if I loved the Lord so you see what I'm saying so even with that the Lord lord knows what pushes Peters buttons and he says then feed my sheep that's what I what and what is that he must Laura feed the Sheep because if you love the Lord you must do super okay super all right I'm gonna think about giving and then after that we have some have called for the elders of the church so we're gonna do do that so if you need an offering envelope so if you need an envelope just put your hand up amen I love going to church and be in a class you know the curse that most Christian churches it's just a service where you watch things happen and yeah you do get to say a few things perhaps but but it's pretty much not a really interactive reality and learning is really interactive you know I mean you can hear things and that can and that can teach you but getting to to interact and and learn is is more than just hearing somebody say something it's applying your hearts you getting to do so I'm excited about each and every one of you I love that one word thing I'm gonna really ponder that that word savourest came to me this morning and I thought well listen to her talking about that that's really cool I wasn't here Wednesday night to hear that prophecy I'm really glad she reiterated it cuz I wanted Henry gave me his best at it but the other thing I'm gonna ask you while they were you know getting our off excuse me are giving ready is that I hope that you're still being prompted and committed to pray as you're prompted by the Spirit of God to pray for things coming up lots of lots of states are you know putting bills into their their state about whether to abort or not abort so I pray that you're really before the Lord on that and other horrible things associated with that so I don't want to go into that with children right now but please be in prayer be prioritised I'll or proms I don't care where you are doing your dishes driving down the road I've been prompted so much to pray for that and our president and if you remember we had discussed and maybe Henry did this on Wednesday but that he would be protected from the spirit of witchcraft that is trying to rule our land I'm not gonna say it's ruling I'm saying it's trying to rule and all those things and his family I also pray for our president that he be led by the Spirit of God and that he have all wisdom knowledge and understanding according to God's will and His purposes I think that's a safe way to pray I don't know everything that he's got before him but I know he has a lot I I pray for even I mean think David brought to mind the Israel has abortions that are pretty high up there that they allow I think you said like three abortions per woman with no questions asked to those serving in their military I believe it was and that's horrendous that's if you know this is our country can you think Jesus is like this is not only in my country but this is my my place on my birth I mean you know here is so anyway so the whole globe is just pretty messed up right now so with so I pray that you're being you know diligent and you know committed yourself to pray when prompted or even not prompted however that works for you with that one we're gonna take up the giving and I'm gonna pray father I thank you so much for your provision you provide above and beyond all we dare ask or even think father I thank you for the giving hearts of your people in this room and even out there watching are those that really believe in what we're doing father I ask you bless them just bless them right now father if they need healing in their bodies father I ask that you meet them father if they need answers in their lives that you give them father I pray for all those needs that we see whether on Facebook or mentioned I'm just gonna be destroyed honest I just pray right now for Esther and sits cos sister I pray right now for that pregnancy to be viable and carry on in the name of Jesus I pray for the blessing games right now who are up there with their new little one who is in the NICU he had under bella plums I pray for him right now those lungs be developed in the name of Jesus right now lungs be matured in the name of Jesus and the peace that passes all understanding in Jesus name I pray for them right now for these little ones in the name of Jesus father thank you for this giving you the hearts of your people and Jesus name Amen it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood give somebody a hug and a smile as you go god bless you thanks for
