good morning church the church is not a box with a steeple it is the it is the so when you said you're coming to church today it didn't mean you're coming to a building that had a steeple until you got here God was not here he doesn't like hanging out alone either not true where Tuesday threes are get there together in his name there he is say welcome father welcome Lord Jesus welcome Holy Spirit a welcome family of God it's good to be alive it's good to be saved find somebody next in - good morning you gorgeous hunk of dust come on show you love you know them by the biggest Bible they carry you should know them how you should know them by the my wife is defining two different kinds of loves so she wants to make sure I'm talking about the right one you should know them by the love say love they have one for who one one another God is no respecter of persons have you read that so all of you have equal opportunity with the father you're accepted isn't it wonderful to know you're accepted by the father of all spirits isn't it wonderful that you really know who God is you travel the world today people will try to tell you many things none of which but the most part is really true God is not the god of superstition your father is not the goddess superstition your father is the god of truth isn't it good to know truth how many of you want to follow a line come on now we do everyday sometimes not even knowing it do you know that ignorant is a form of knowledge you know how many people follow superstition ignores as if it were truth that's sad isn't it I mean that is really sad then the Bible says this that Eve you know truth and you don't follow truth you are self deceived I'm quoting the scripture so if we know truth but we're not doers of that truth that we're not doers of the word we are self deceived have you ever seen any Christians that know truth but don't really live it then they are what so one day put a placard on their back saying I himself to see bless God they wouldn't do that because they would be embarrassed why would you be so concerned about being embarrassed about people but you're not considering how embarrassing it is concerning your your father let God be true where did you learn that at good morning good morning my goodness isn't it wonderful to know that your eternal man gonna live forever whether you live or whether you die you are the Lord's to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord but thanks for staying with us today you should not be in a hurry to leave this planet because you're of no earthly good in heaven but isn't heaven a better place selfish selfish I wanna go to heaven why what's a better place selfish heaven does not need you jesus said I go to prepare a place for you he did not say he needed your help come on now work with me I'm trying to get you woke up here do it but I'm change or something heaven does not need you you get there soon enough don't worry about it who needs you earth people who needs you your families who needs you your enemies well he said he'd make your enemies to be at peace with you so I'm looking for my enemies these days you guys are easy and they gave me work to have fun with you guys takes a little work with an enemy doesn't it are you prepared this year to make peace with your enemies you talking about my mother-in-law yes possibly are you prepared to be doers of the word this year are you prepared to love your neighbor as yourself are you prepared to be involved with other people it doesn't take much to smile at the Walmart checkout lane whether you feel like it or not we've had some we have so much done we have so much fun with the people that are running the checkout lane at Walmart because they need us to be happy we have so much great fun with waitresses and waiters where we go to eat don't we we want them to be happy with us we don't want to be a burden to their life years ago when we were starting our journey and pastoring and it wasn't in this state we would back in those days they used to remember remember I guess about a business these days Orion's all-you-can-eat smorgasbord dis in place now they have what Golden Corral then we would drive 15 minutes to the nearest city after church a bunch of us and sit down and have dinner and fellowship and I made a good time but one thing that I would do now I'm just talking to you because I want to I want to leave an imprint in your hearts I want to leave something I believe God really wants to do with you is I tip very well if it's if I get the person doing a job and because I have to have a giving heart we just came back from Scotland in England for four weeks we'll hug about it a little bit this morning and nobody tips over there not very few people tip and I do and I can I remember the look on some of these waitresses faces when I'm given five pounds or ten pounds they thought they went to heaven because nobody tips and that one restaurant went to the waitress disappeared and we had to leave and we were staying there for two days and we came back and she was undoing the next thing I went to her and tipped her from the night before I said I missed you where'd you go because I you did a good job I want to give you a little gratuity you talked about her having a happy heart you talked about her having a smile and a dance on her feet and we got a new waitress for at the same time the next night and I went and tipped her and she looked at the other witches and said is it okay if I take it it was but those days remember pastor Donna those days we go we eat we have a good that way to keep a place locked up for two hours or more they finally gave us the back room all by herself every Sunday because we were just you know we would come and stay but I told my people that I'm I was pastoring I want you to be generous with the waitresses what I would do occasionally is Marsha here Anita you're here remember those days I'd walk up and down the tables because they'd be probably 40 or 50 this and I would look to see how much money was on the table that the flock was leaving for the waitresses and if I didn't like what I saw I would take up an offering hi miss Nunn enough I would pass the Hat and say we're going to do better do you know in that restaurant over the over those months and months and months that the the waitress crew would fight with each other who would get us they would fight about who would get us and then they began to share you know what they told us we hate Sundays because we get these Christians that come in here that are demanding and don't tip they're nasty they're demanding and they never tip good we hate Sundays except when our church came to that restaurant they loved Sundays see being a witness isn't complicated being a witness more than taking your Bible and passing out a track and bible-thumping somebody you know what happened you tomorrow or tonight if you died or you're gone that's a bad type of evangelism in my book it may not be in yours I won't know somebody cares about me not where I'm going I'm gonna make sure that if God came down here and the person as Jesus did that he has something of benefit for me then wherever Jesus went he offered something for that person it could be healing it could be deliverance it could be I'm coming Zacchaeus to your house for dinner we did that recently we'll talk about it maybe later being a witness is being user-friendly first step number one these are my steps to evangelism right now I hadn't thought about it before but it's coming number one be user-friendly the user-friendly second don't Bible thump them they're already guilty they don't need to be reminded how do I know that because the Bible says he that is not born again he that is lost in his sins is already feels guilty the accusation is already there who in the Bible who was it that was the beggar who was begging who said silver and gold have a nun who said that who which one of them said that both him said that I hear voices now which one Peter and John both of there both did stereo conversation they were together but who spoke his important almost talking to you in an important know who's talking to you Brenda I'm going to talk to you but I'm gonna look at Jim when talk to your brother over here now I'm talking to Brenda okay now and they weren't gonna be any working for her no I'm not talking to you I'm talking to her he working is it she said no they're feeling lonely it's not good is it I've talked to him in the day I thought they were they were found over the years the Christian Church has become a spectator sport somebody performs for you the rest of you just sit there mind your business and go home pay your tithes please but you don't get been an attitude for to be able to sing some churches know what you sing they forbade it sing we're seeing here sometime today who knows when either giving thanks giving are giving worship some of you may have a scripture reading fits right in and say fits right in because we want the holy spirit to be in charge of what's happening here today and we yield to you the church to flow as a work of the Holy Spirit decently and in order one of you may have a tongue needs to be an interpretation you cannot give your own interpretation is unscriptural if you're new here you've got to find out there's an interpreter present go back and check with Dale and Sharon and now say yeah there's three or four here and have the gift of interpretation tone if you have prophecy and give you a card for that to view the Holy Spirit wants to speak through you and the language of the people right here which is mostly English so be it you have a revelation we want to hear it you have a testimony we want to hear it this is where you come together to be the family and we try to release you to be who you are if you give your testimony two or three minutes would be nice longer than that will refer you to a book Ephesians 4 and Ephesians 3 comes before 4 and you just sang in part Ephesians chapter 4 chapter 3 I was going to read to you for this cause I bow my knees under the father of our Lord Jesus Christ of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named after who the father do you know in the history of men except modern man there are no last names in your Bible did you ever think about that there are no last names in your Bible now there are so and so so and so who is reckon to the region they lived like Joseph of Arimathea and so on but no last names last names are fabrication of the Roman Empire so as far as God is concerned all of mankind our sons and daughters accept certain sons and daughters are separated from the father because of ignorance and sin would you agree to that when Jesus came the Living Word in the beginning was the word John chapter 1 and beginning it was the word the Word was with God the Word was God and the word became flesh became one of us Jesus is known as a son of God who are you see this is an area that I'm I'm finding that Christians really struggle with is their true identity they sent around denominational catechisms they send it around denominational positioning but they don't really settle around the fact that we are one body one faith one baptism one father one Lord it's fragmented I she better walk into any assembly of Christians in the world and be accepted to me now walk through the door that is not possible you became born-again you did not become a Christian first they were first called Christians at Antioch because they proceeded there were followers of who the father or Christ of what followers of Christ but Jesus came to do what Jesus did not come to reveal himself he didn't bring attention to himself he came to reveal who first John 16 he said the time comes when I shall clearly reveal the father unto you so that you can talk to your father in my name any time you want so why people still praying to Jesus is that superstition is that that had come out of the Middle Ages when Jesus himself said very clearly in John 16 and that day you shall ask me nothing but you shall ask the Father in my name did we forget the Lord's Prayer how did it begin who said that did he say my are yours or ours so did he throw himself into the mix so what makes you different than Jesus as a son or daughter of God now don't you let rigid spirits cause you to shut down right now I know you'll never be gods don't think I may been saying that but as a in the new birth you became a new what you became a new creature old things have passed away you became reconciled to your father which is in heaven you asked people around the world who God is today you're gonna get 14 million different answers because I don't know God they don't know that Godhead they don't know the father who and in the Hebrew language he's Adonai they don't know who the Lord God of Israel is he's Jehovah he's the sacred name but no one comes dad and I accept their Yehovah they would not learn that in the English no one comes these and no one comes to the Father except here what no man comes to God except through me Jesus said now if when you became born again the Spirit of God was released to you from the father in Jesus name this is the progress the Holy Spirit was bared witness was it was released to you that he now lives with you spirit to spirit and bears what I'm quoting you a scripture he bears witness with your spirit that you are a frog the you are who the Holy Spirit bears witness with whose spirit then you're a spirit and God is a father of all spirits not animals he's a creator of animals but you're different now let's a solid zoologist confuse you our pretty good job when you became and gave your life back to who really created you you came into agreement with life itself not death the unsaved do not have the Holy Spirit living with them bearing witness that they are sons and daughters but the Holy Spirit is with them to convict them of sin that's the Bible somewhere so you became born-again you became not Christians you became sons and daughters of who whether or not you're followers of Christ remains to be seen and it's not because you carry a Bible means you're a follower of Christ whatsoever because you say you believe does not mean anything even the devil's believe and they tremble I wish I could find humans that tremble have more sense than Devils you must don't tremble Devils do how come Devils have more sense about this than mankind because they know family the family of God all of you have a common ancestor I don't just want to do this bigotry issue and get it out of that I want to I want to put it out there it belongs don't a racism want to kick it all away off the planet I want to make a stand all of you tracing your lineage as humans back over 3,500 years that's not long is it you'll find an ancestor you don't need ancestor calm I can take you back further than ancestor calm can take is a save your money unless you want to people closer to you unless you want to find iniquity easier my little roadmap of iniquity right but also you also find blessings of your ancestor are faithful to God and you here because of their faithfulness every single one of you in here and this cannot be refuted except by agnostics and they can't refute it they just want to spin their breath every one of you is ancestry can be traced to Noah through ham Shem or Japheth every single one of you some of you I'm from ham some of you are from Shem David your friend Shem you guys are who ham I'm her and Japheth problem with this seat of Japheth he created religion head knowledge you see the j-pod your biggest problem is your soul and your intellect because your intellect get over it you tell if you tell the father you don't want me in your family you're not gonna get too far and I'm not gonna tell him that I want you in my family either see we've got to get past humanism we've got to get past bigotry we've got to get past racism we got to get past the jockeying and positioning a superiority of people groups we all use toilet paper as baseline prophecy get me read that I'm not a respecter of persons you cannot be selfish with me saith the Lord because I'm not selfish with you I ask you this day to put aside your differences I ask you this day to put aside the things of your iniquity of your generations that caused you to be in conflict with who I am as creator my plans include all of mankind not just a few there are no special roofs with me there is only one special group it's the body of Christ and you need to find your place in this body without schism without division without confusion and quit opting out of the body I see my body as just body parts floating all over the place and I could point bring you together we might get something done speaking to you directly this day saith the father I asked you to consider my words there are many voices that are pulling at you to become separated from those that are your family not your biological family but your spiritual family I asked you to consider perhaps adjusting your position of conclusion don't judge others on the basis of who you think they should look like even in my church do not form others in your image stop postulating your image on others just as you have different fingerprints so in my family all of you are unique I'm Sharon I don't know there's probably a lot of guests here that don't know no me and the journey that I've had with my biological family but back in December God woke me up and I just felt compelled to read and do a word search on sue and as I did that I came to Matthew 5:40 where it talks about if any man sue you that the law you to take your coat you give him your cloak as well and so I thought huh ok god I understand because that's been an issue with my biological siblings we've been you know or they have been in a lawsuit so I thought okay what you know I can do that but then it was like I felt compelled he said don't just read that I want you to read the whole chapter so it's like okay so as I began to read I thought this really is long God you know do you really want me to read the whole thing so anyway I got to Matthew 5:44 and it says but I say unto you love your enemies bless them that curse you do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you then this was the next verse that II may be the children of your father which is in heaven I was like man I want to be considered a child of my father so for he maketh the Sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust well at that very moment you know I thought I understood this but the enemy also came in on me like a flood condemning me because this was a few days before Christmas and I was having no contact with these siblings so the enemy began to come in on me and say now look if you want to be the child of your father you need to reach out and you need to pursue this relationship with these siblings so I really went down under it in a way and I kept saying you know ok I'm going to prove that I am a child of my father and I'm going to show love regardless so God prevented I know now that he prevented all of my attempts my car wouldn't crank the battery was dead I mean there was just so many so many things that prevented it so then the following week that Monday at work David came down to the office for something and it was like God said why don't you why don't you just ask him how do you do that you've been asking me all week how do you love how do you love your enemies when when they're in your face and they're coming against you and they're just doing all all these things that are uh but they're Christians so so how do you deal with this so I went I told David I said you know I got some I want to ask you so I got the Bible and I showed him that so I read it and I was like tell me how do you do this how do you do this when when it's your blood when they're in your face and that it uh so he began to spout off some things and and he was you know like love and forgiveness or two different things and you know you kind of some people get that confused and and you know God loves everybody our Father loves everybody but he's not in a relationship and he's not in a fellowship with everybody and I was like you know what you just you just don't get it but to myself you know I didn't say that to him but that's what that's what the enemy and me was saying at that point but I had been desperately crying out to God to give me the answer to this so I got an unexpected phone call from the doctor's office and he wanted to see me immediately like quick as I could get there so I made the appointment and Dale and I had to go down Monday night and as we were driving along I was meditating on my conversation with David and I was like God you know I've asked you and I feel like that's who you told me to ask and so I want to know you know and so in my quiet time it it it hit it clicked it was like I am your father and I love everybody but everybody does not choose to be in fellowship with me and they don't choose to be in a relationship with me so they have not chosen to be in fellowship with you they have not chosen to have a relationship with you so you are released from that just like I am father God you know he's released he's there he's ready he's willing so he let me know that I have forgiven them and I do have love for them and I do want a relationship but it has to be a two-way relationship so then I went to the doctor's office the next day and I got got a report that I prayed before we got there because I knew you know doctor calling you wanted to see you immediately there's something you know something that he's going to tell you that's not so great so he you know basically told me you know I had three choices I could have a surgery or I could see a hematologist or I could go to the morgue so here's my husband you know and he said I disagree with that you know I disagree with it and you know all through the holidays and everything I have felt great my strength has been good so I thought okay God your word says you know that you'll sustain spirit man will sustain us in our infirmity so thank you thank my spirit man for sustaining me so I got home that night and I began to look at some roots and I began you know to say okay God you know I thought I've dealt with self bitterness self-hatred all these different things but guilt was the one thing that I had I guess just kind of you know skipped over you know and so that night I went to bed Dale and I was praying and I just began to repent again for the self bitterness in the self hatred but when I got to the guilt it broke God showed me that I had been carrying the guilt for my family and and them not being able to be a family and he let me know that I was released from that so I let it go but I just I want to encourage you that family members that don't want to be in a relationship because they don't consider themselves to fit in because they think you're a Jesus Freak or or whatever reason or they they just can't be with you because of your beliefs it's okay it's okay and you don't have to feel guilty because you can't fellowship with them because father God does not fellowship with sand so anyway that's just it's just been a wonderful week I am hey I leaned over and I told pastor Donna I said what has come forth is mix right in with the prophecy it's layered and if you understand how the Spirit of God and nothing you don't understand what I would never say that but if you're meditating on how the Spirit of God wants to instruct us you have to come to church expecting God to be there not just to come on a ritual or ritualistic attendance or your guilt because take God up you don't go to church but you've come ready to receive you come ready to participate and the fabric of what you've heard coming through this today already is the core issue of mankind's problems its core issues now I had this thought as she was talking is God the source of all things is our Father the source of all things he's the source of all good things when does God just become a resource not a source now I want you to track with me I've asked you a religion a question theologically when does God quit being the source and just a resource because many many times we as finite humans don't understand God as source but we want him as a resource in time of need but rather than coming into relationship as the source day by day we approach him as a resource in time of trouble you cannot expect the relationship with God just to be based on need even in human relationships one of the most devastating problems in a human marriage is when one member of the marriage is needy in it is needy that does not produce a relationship so in in understanding this I know that there are people that say using these scriptures that you should put up with everybody's you know what I don't agree with that I'll tell you why not agree with that the Bible says we walk in the light as he is in the light then we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness if there is unrighteousness that is there that interferes with us being able to walk together in the light what is the light it's the basic baseline truth a relationship you should love the Lord your God with all of your heart your soul your might and you shall it's not a suggestion you shall love your neighbor as you love yourself upon this all say all of the law and the prophets have their foundation so the foundation of everything the foundation of the law the foundation of the prophets the praat the foundation of even a New Testament church is relationship this is the biggest disconnect there is then we come into guilt and what guilt does it asks us to become codependent with evil and call it love now once you're ready to listen to me now as a guilt we'll ask you to become codependent with another people's purses evil butt covered in the name of love I'll tell what the word says an open rebuke is better than secret love an open rebuke because it's not honesty God has not called you to walk a relationship of plastic dishonesty codependency is plastic dishonesty you must that you must perceive what I'm saying now continuing this thought this is marked those who cause division mark those who cause division and have no part with them you said well that's only for church splits no no no no no no no it doesn't say anything about that is this mark anyone that doesn't want to walk in love with you and have no part with them you have to understand if we had put these impossible warmongers of relationships out to pasture by themselves a long time ago they would be finding a place of repentance because there's a lonely place to be in that place what we've done we've removed God's chastening to bring repentance even our own families if you have a family member is not walking in love you need to rebuke them so I'm not having fellowship with you again until you walk in love because I'm not saying like I love you and I don't love this person you cannot be double-minded in this position if not if you are you're codependent and you're interfering with God's chastening other heart to bring them to repentance yes it may be Grievous for a season but we interfere with God's chastening to bring hearts to repentance every single day in false love which is codependent love because we feel if we ourselves to be sweet then we must bear all things we must put up with all things we must not create parameters no the Bible mark those who cause division and do what have no part so I don't like that folks I don't I don't like it either I didn't say we liked it I said it's God's Word and sometimes I have to base God's at God's Word whether I like it or not and if I and some people are not going to come back to peace with you if you don't stop interfering with our chastening they never will because you're enabling them you're authenticating their rebellion you're authenticating their division making in the name of love and you have been deceived that's my not final word but word on this subject well then what happens then the enemy tries to put guilt on you just like what Sharon was talk about saying that there you could have done something different you sure doing something different everything's about yeah it's all about you now when it really never has been so just saying guilt guilt is a really ugly ugly critter so what we do I got kind of a thought what we end up doing this is very good conversation this this impacts all of you what we end up being doing is trying to be a savior to our families you're not the Savior folks you can be a resource but you're no different than God God is only a resource for people who let him be a resource to them but the day you become a savior to someone you're no longer resource you're in charge of their destiny and everything about their destiny good or evil rests in your efforts that's idolatry at the highest level you know I reminded you know we're not to contain God's glory right because we're not we're not God he is the only one that can be glorious okay and in the same respect all these things that we're talking about guilt and fear and bitterness know that we were never meant to carry those things that's not in our makeup and so when when you do try to carry that of course it's gonna eat your body up because your your your house your your temple is not meant to contain any of that so it becomes a cankerous cancer in your body that that's just what it does just like if you took tried to take glory that's a whole nother thing it still it'll do the same thing that's pride it'll begin to eat you up because it's not yours to contain you are simply supposed to be a conduit of God's love and his obedience that's what we are just as a flow it's an ebb and flow it's not a retaining and if we could ever get that I we would just be amazingly strong but in being a conduit of God's love then comes the flip of the enemy to say that if we take a stand against evil we're not loving oh I know and here we come in to the codependency temptation yes and then somebody well you just need to forgive them because I forgave them does not mean they're willing to let partake of my goodness so my goodness is evil spoken of because for them to speak good of me means they're going to come back in a relationship and they can't do it so those individuals the Bible talks about very clearly as people that are dangerous to your life I was thinking about something else he'd a lot of tail bearer says that it says the words of a talebearer are as wounds that go deep into the belly no matter we have so much gastrointestinal problems because we have so many people that are talking evil of us because and I have to tell you something and I'm going to stop - I want to try to stop talking a try here's what I discovered if you want to have any discernment for people certain people to appear more spiritual than you they have to diminish your righteousness to appear more righteous than you to be justified in their evil now this is subtle but I have seen it happen time and time and time again or someone will diminish and other person's baseline righteousness so that they can appear more knowing more righteous more on top of the game at the other person's expense this is not good we should never exalt ourselves over another one of it one of the one of the and I just got it I gotta find my Bible if you want to walk in the presence of God everybody wants to say buddy's taking you know side trips to heaven and all kinds of stuff if you want to walk in the presence of God I'm gonna give you the secret today because it's built right into this conversation this is a time to learn folks this is a time to take information you're hearing because it could save you from a lot of garbage and you may not be guilty you may be a victim of a grand design to produce guilt in your life and you must know the difference I want to take in Isaiah 57 [Music] Isaiah 57 begins in verse 14 and shall say castilla cast yet prepared the way take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people what do you think could be the stumbling block that we're stumbling over that God wants us to recognize so that we can come into his presence not a mystical you know goody-goody feeling but a place where we meet God and he meets us not as a resource but as the source of everything that in him we live and we move and we have our being a way of life not an oasis of trouble solving problems God is more than a product than a problem-solving God get it straight I don't know if a parent yet is happy being a constant problem solver for his children I certainly have had my journey you maybe you've had your journey from one crisis to the next that's relationship so if I was to read this in verse 15 it says for thus saith the high and lofty one the word one here is capitalized that means divinity means a member of the Godhead for thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabiteth eternity oh that's God for sure whose name is holy now that's capitalized that's really God now big time I what's I personal pronoun it doesn't say the force is with you it says I personal pronoun I dwell in the high and holy place all by myself because I am holy and I'm God and I and that's not what it says folks it says I dwell in the high and holy place with him put her in there him or her her him him or her with him also so God saying I don't dwell alone I dwell I wanted well with the hymns in the hers not yeah I want to do well with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to revive this spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones now here's a secret dick here's a secret chair lock this is a secret to God's presence the word the word come contrite means broken to smithereens no two more defenses he's God he's truth broken I have seen people that will never change or be helped unless they hit bottom I have seen it not just a few times and I have watched people come through here that I knew that what we could do nothing to help them because they weren't ready to hit bottom they were still in defense they were trying to defend a position of personality and spirituality that was causing their problems that they did want to get rid of they wanted the blessings but they didn't want to get rid of the thing that was causing the problem so they weren't contrite if you go to court of law and you're in trouble you maybe you've committed to defense and you're standing before a judge you'll have a better time with the judge if you're contrite about what you did but if your arrogant self defending and mouthy you have just reached the reach the brink of no benefits and I haven't seen the judge yet in my time and I've even went before judges with people that my church's over the years to stand with them as they faced and and and and I haven't found a judge yet that did not have a soft heart towards somebody who was really constrained even if the sin was the law says you must pay I seen it so contrite means broke into smithereens and here comes the next part humble this is a tough one humble means you're not greater than any other person on this planet you may have more education you may have more you may information you may have more experience that does not increase your spiritual value increase your personal value but you cannot say you're greater than another human you go to the dust it came for the dust you go to the dust know what it says so what's the benefit so the information is if we start position this is part of the prophetic movement of what God was saying here today very very clear the gun is really your father's really wanting you to get off to a good start this year because he wants you to break out of some really bad habits and you may have to be careful who you hang out with this year that are trying to influence you in ways that not God's ways you have to be very careful of people who need you to authenticate their iniquity and sin and ask you to become codependent with them and then when you become codependent another person's sin you authenticate them in that sin folks that's why it says an open rebuke is better than secret love if I love you I'm gonna lie to you right come on think with me folks if I love you am I gonna lie to you if I lie if I if I lie to you I don't love you now there's a place where you can tell the truth and you don't have to kill somebody this is not about Judgment Day this is about journey if I love you to the best of my ability I'm going to tell you the truth if you want to hear what I have to say I could be a wonderful source because of the experience I have in the journey of being an elder but I can only be a resource to you and if you want to hear what I have to say and even after I tell you what I have to say means nothing if you don't apply it so this comes a journey I think a life coach and ours is Pam here hey Pam and sounding like a life coach oh man were they gonna get it I hope so I God wants you to have know the rules of the road God has more to do with your life than getting you out of potholes all the time that you fell into because you wouldn't listen the first time I didn't say that did I want you not to be separated from God's presence and you don't have to run around doing mystical things hanging off chandeliers and taking astral projection trips come on now when you come to your father and you come to him in Jesus name you expect him to receive you is that true or not and when you walk into your father you don't hold your head in shame cuz he's gonna tell you chin up but I'm your dad and when you walk in there and stand before your father you're gonna have to have no more defenses and you cannot consider self greater than another if we would take this position we would deal with the stuff of our life that's not good for us and we would take this position we wouldn't be jockeying for position politically or their society trying to be somebody I have found a problem and the biggest problem I have found in mankind even those that go to church is the big question even it is even bigger than the $63,000 question is this Who am I why am I here and who cares this is the big one and this is one the enemy uses to try to control you with false conclusions false journeys Who am I what's my debt I'm a son of God I made that decision years ago I don't change my mind count me in so you're not a son of God yes I am who are you yeah you're born again then who are you then don't question it quit hanging out in the honor court with the milling around with the masses of guilty people look over a place of resonance quit hanging out in the outer court and get out of the inner core that's just religion that's all the do's and don'ts and oblations and the incense is inelia is this pleasing to God if I smell just right missing yeah it's working good get out of the external the inner court is what they came in to prepare themselves to be received to God they couldn't cleanse themselves with all this stuff man they were distinct as he walked in because I hadn't changed on the inside because of Jesus you don't have to hang around on the outer court you don't even have to hang out with organized religion I don't care who they say they are and that includes this church but you have a right to walk into your father in Jesus name but when you come don't come with your rebuttal and your rhetoric come broken come humble and your life will never be the same why do I know that come on I read you the promises I mean it doesn't take a filled out that lawyer to read your Bible I may be saying something to you right now that you need to hear I know what is true what's the promise if you come before your father with a contrite humble spirit what's he gonna do he's gonna revive the spirit of the humble he's going to revive the heart of the contrite ones you want revival doesn't begin with the tambourine doesn't begin feeling no and begin there at all begins inside you are the Temple of the Holy Ghost you're the temple not made with hands eternal in call you turtle eternal I feel if I was to go by my feelings I don't I I sense that your father is really talking to you today by his spirit at all ever levels he can get you to listen don't disregard this service you could have just began to partake of the living water take it meditate on what you've heard talk it up let garbage true every man a liar yeah I feel strong about this a couple things we came up here an hour ago done I wanted to share something about the flock and and our journey overseas but also they spent some time with you guys's family building you up and giving you some attaboy and then we got the open mic then we got the giving what do you think we should do next we do none and I gonna share the giving or the testimonies which one think we ought to do body I'm hearing voices now are giving then we're gonna do open mic testimonies and then us finished with our stories is that our way all in one accord with that okay well drive then wherever in an accord we're going to drive all right am I taking up the offering you're giving all I am oh well if we're gonna do our giving if you need an offering envelope you can raise your hand and our Usher's will bring you an envelope if you need one if you don't need one it's okay if your gift is a cow today please will attend to it later outside we want to make a provision for your giving we thank you for your giving I thank you that the cause of the gospel is unhindered because of finances that were able to do what we need to do for him in this little wases south of Atlanta father I thank you so much for your kids well though thank you so much for your sons and daughters and thank you for their big hearts some give and it is a sacrifice to do so others give under their abundance so be it the giving is an attitude of the heart and all things come good flock it is a joy and we're done I'm going to talk about this a bit later and I want to preempt our conversation but I have to tell you it is a joy to serve you all of you love you so much a joy to serve you thank you Father well do the testimonies did you take your turn I don't just talk it over and do popcorn I would like to thank Sharon for sharing what she shared about the same time period I went through the same thing so it's exciting to see what he does for one he'll do for another in the same area so the verse that I have is and it's first Thessalonians 5:23 and the very God of peace sanctify you wholly and I pray that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ faithful is he that call of you who will also do it and then the second verse that goes along with that is Philippians 1:6 he who began a good work in you will carry it on to the completion until the day of Christ Jesus and just recently I was I was fellowshipping with a new friend I made here we were just on the phone and we were just you know just enjoying each other's company as we were both doing daily cleaning things that have to be done and um as we were talking God in His His grace and His mercy and his love got to like the kingpin in my life you know like we're an onion and God very gently peels back each layer and it gives you a rest I mean keeps peeling and I feel like we got to the very the very core of my onion and we weren't like ministering to each other we were just folding laundry and chatting on the phone you know and I was just talking about gosh there's just this one thing and and it just terrifies me when it happens and I just walk away feeling so guilty and so terrible and the the lie that I was hearing probably since gosh I start to walk was you're too much you're not enough you're too much but you're not enough and right there in that conversation it was like the light bulb went off and it came from family and it was you don't have to be guilty anymore of that because that wasn't you and it wasn't that I was participating with the yucky it was it was a false guilt that was placed upon me in order to be codependent in a relationship that I desperately needed because it was a parent or both parents and other people that were supposed to take care of me and I forgive them but I had never all these years forgiving myself you're too much but you're not enough and I was walking around you know that day thinking wow that's like false guilt see in order for me to have relationship and in order for me to be codependent I had to come under that so I was not able to be authentically who God created me to be including my preferences and my dislikes because I was too much but not enough in order to be codependent because if I was too much and not enough then me being inconvenient was validated so I'm pondering it you know and saying Lord you know I don't want to participate with this and and I certainly don't want to be codependent in relationships and my husband's done a wonderful job covering me as far as my family goes and setting up a really good boundaries and just saying nope if you want to talk to her you got to go through me I mean it's it's just fantastic and what's your content what would you like to talk to her about nope we're not talking about that because that's not profitable for and it's certainly not going to be profitable for you when you're done talking to her which is like you know I felt covered so I'm walking through my house and I'm just pondering this and I'm having this ping-pong gang in my mouth no they're my parents they have to be right I'm too much I'm not enough and then all of a sudden I can specifically remember it's nighttime whatever I was walking from my hallway into the master bedroom into the bathroom and I hear myself say you know what self-hatred I'm done participating with you and honestly I was thinking about is it too late to go eat some pretzels that's what I was thinking about I wasn't thinking about great spiritual things and that's what came out of my mouth you know what self-hatred I'm done participating with you pretzels have a very holy pretzel have a very holy part of their design for fasting no only eat the holes oh okay I need to eat nothing that makes it's very holy that way yeah so I was like I wasn't you know I'm just going around my daily life trying to love my husband trying to raise my teenager trying to you know become a member of the flock trying to be more authentic than I was before trying to love God and follow him and he's just sanctifying me through and through as I'm seeking first his kingdom I didn't have to manufacture or I wasn't like I have this problem it was just amazing and as the weeks are progressing I'm seeing oh wow this thing really has a grip on me like it paralyzed me it would like paralyze me like terrify me so first it was guilt and shame and then fear with more guilt and shame and self-hatred and self-loathing and just like I'm not I'm not doing this anymore I don't even necessarily know if it was me that said it maybe it was the Holy Spirit seeing it through me I don't know but I am I am grateful that he just loves us too much to leave us the way we are and we don't have to struggle to be like okay God hit me what do you got to clean up with me today I'm just going about my life and he's like hey I love you here's a freedom thank you I don't I don't know have a human that begins their morning but taking the garbage out first come on now think with me that's that's really ungodly order of your day [Music] historically at a time of Jesus anyone believes that God heals and delivers not just saves has always been considered peculiar I'm not going to change the image of God I believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever the father still on the throne he still answers prayer and that healing and deliverance and miracles are for today regardless of what anybody else teaches to the contrary that's my official statement um this was on my heart and I was kind of wondering what it was I suppose it could be considered an exhortation not necessarily testimony but there is a fruit of it and it was from my life it just so happens that it happened yesterday but it directly corresponds with today in a very practical way so without disclosing all the details the point of the point of what happened was that yesterday my wife and I had to go out and do some get some business done so my mom was home with the children so she was watching our kids and there was a one child in our house that just decided they were gonna listen to the devil that day honestly I mean that's what was happening they were just it escalated over the day I would just start out with not listening to like other things and I had conversations with this child over the phone but of course I wasn't there in person you know but I my mom and and myself as well as my wife Alice and we were working together just give this child some space to see if they would recover themselves you know so so we just would were going about our day but what was interesting is that there was a certain juncture in this in the day where it sort of turned towards really being kind of mean and cruel to the other kids this one child and at I didn't want to put my mom in a compromising situation where she would have to be me as a disciplinarian so I just talking father God about this I'm just going okay what should I do and the example came to mind of the young men young man in the Corinthian church that be set outside the church because of what was going on and that's where I thought about what we're talking about today it was it was it was very much fitting that I instructed my mom very specifically to tell this child why everybody's gonna be withdrawing from them because of the behavior and they were being cruel and we can't allow that happen in our house so what happened is that a little while later we got it a good report and the child had to recover themselves and repented but the key about it was that it what I saw it directly related today because the whole point was is that we need make make it very clear to this child that their behavior wasn't okay we're gonna have it because I said it this is not a child just having misbehaving this is a child listening to Devils we're not gonna have that and but in addition they had to make a real decision in relationship to everybody else as well which was very important right it wasn't just about the child and whatever they felt like doing it was now between them and everybody else in this house and when we took a stand against that that was what broke it and it had been going on for a few hours you know incremental and with this child just been in rebellion but I just thought that that was very much fitting with today and was an object lesson that's why I didn't know if it was necessarily but hey there was a great fruit that came forth of it but right I think that's that's where I saw this this link to the codependency if we if we're trying to make this stuff okay we're not allowing a person to really recover themselves and figure out what's really going on in their life and reevaluate their actions especially if their actions are demas really hurting one another I mean maybe as adults people are not throwing toys or taking things away from each other in that way but but certainly people are harming one another so before Don and I share the Bible says that chastening is grievous for a season now God doesn't chase in us he releases us to the chase honor who would love to give us the object of our disobedience and there's no peace in that and there's no health in that and there's nothing but torment so chastening is a work of the enemy say there's God allow it then no we allow the enemy to control our thoughts and yes that must be broken so chasing is grievous for a season but in the end it brings forth the Peace of a fruit of righteousness white because every human including adults must come to a place that they stand before God and say yes to him amen what you think and you said it is true I agree and insisted she had this filters then into families I'm done I'm gonna stand up so they can look through the plexiglass um I don't really want to talk about our trip per se that's nothing that's not really what I wanted to do but this whole service has ingredients of why our trip was amazing okay all of you are family if you're here in this room your family if you said yes to him you're definitely family but not all of you have a history with us as a church some of you may have a history with us maybe it because of the bridge of being health that maybe that but as a church we we have really grown up okay this is just some amazing things that have happened God answering prayer especially lately there was some reference to what the people the community think because you know who we are and then you know growing up it's like we we attract a lot of people who want to be on the front lines of stuff you know I want to move to Thomaston because I wouldn't be on the front lines I want to be you know doing ministry and I want to be making a difference and and so we attracted people like that but but not necessarily the kind of people that really wanted to bond together okay and become a family and that was probably one of the grievious things for us through the those years back there is that that was not happening that we really wanted it to happen but you can't make people just do that they have to has to be in their heart and so when we leave a lot because we would do conferences and we do many things and and leaving is always difficult to get to go do something going in an RV is a lot easier because we get to take part of our family with us which now is just our dogs but because all the kids have grown up but you know even then you know that's a big deal but when we go away for a long time which we were gone for 30 days okay this time that means but we couldn't take anything with us because we jumped the pond and went to the UK that means everything back homes got to be okay all right so leaving for 30 days is takes a lot of preparation mental things here we're leaving our animals we're leaving our home we're even leaving our wild birds that have become dependent on us to feed them I mean we are leaving all y'all and we're leaving the church and the ministry but the coolest most awesomest thing is we got to do it in peace we really did I want to say this body is amazing you guys have grown up so nicely we don't ever have to worry about we're gonna come back and somebody's overthrown the government here hey believe me there is days passed we did it has happened we didn't have to worry that you guys were fussing with one another because we all love each other you're all Watchmen you guys have grown up so nicely oh my goodness we brag about so everywhere we go our leadership is amazing they're amazing amazing elders and deacons thank you so very much we had three very responsible people taking care of our dogs and our birds we thank you so much when I never was concerned that they weren't getting loves and hugs those dogs Thank You Jenny the birds no the dogs the birds were getting fed Thank You Hannah and Ben you can handle those big Shepherds all the time so we just want to thank you so much for just being who you are now the time that Henry and I had alone together without with the total peace because we knew everything was fine here yeah we I mean it was just I didn't have to I went we were concerned about y'all at all yeah it's very fantastic from our perspective to know that your you know settled in yeah and happy in it Elio give your growing pains and we all have our stuff but you're a good good flock an amazing fly all of you are wonderful many of you have come through many things many of you have been so faithful and are still faithful that I honor you Donna and I and our eldership honors you for your faithfulness and who you are as great people you are all of you you don't even know how awesome you are amazing you do big thing you know it's a huge thing to be able to go and just have total peace about you that you're going to be just fine I had a pastor many years actually the other day 13 years ago says you know I can't take a vacation I can't go into verse because he said if I'm not at the helm every day they'll fire me and they don't dare when I'm home that's a horrible thing that's ungodly I have one really cool thing I'm gonna tell you about just one okay just one one of the reasons why we went over this time of year because as I always wanted to see Hogmanay and Hogmanay and I think I explained it to you is is the new year's over there because in the years of Cromwell I think I put this on Facebook pretty interesting a little bit of trivia and the years of when Cromwell was over there the the Catholic Church was being put down by the Protestant church but the Protestant church didn't believe in Christmas because it was not this at the right time of year and it was a pagan holiday and so for I don't even know a couple of several hundred years they were not allowed so recently really well not within the past hundred years yeah baby I don't know I don't remember what it wouldn't let up but anyway they weren't allowed to celebrate Christmas at all and no figgy pudding 's nothing nothing that was related to that time of year so but I saw Hogmanay became really big thing and which was just the first of the year but they really do it up so I wanted to go and see how they do it up so Sarah and Scott got to join us on Christmas Day which was the best day to go to an airport ever because there was no traffic I think that forty mile drive we saw five cars maybe on a four lane well we saw 20 in total I think but it was and as these were big you know lanes but anyway so we got to we got to have Hogmanay and so we were to Sterman castle and because what they're gonna do it gonna do fireworks now granted everyone's gonna be drinking and all that kind of stuff because it's the new year and that's what people do so we knew it could be kind of interesting but you have to if anybody's ever been over there this street is probably well it's the is as wide as a carriage would have ever been that you have to drive up to go to the castle and so we drove up and we got some some great parking because they hit more favored got more and then Henry had to walk the rest we all had to walk the rest way up to the castle which was a pretty good hoof what's the mile and so we had to take her time but anyway so we get up there and Henry needs to sit down because it's been you know quite it so we went to buy the ambulance we ended up by the ambulance because it was nice place to lean against and they let him sit down inside if he wanted to and he did for a little while he wasn't fine but he still needed to see it was cold and sitting inside that first day that Emma was really warm so we've got so so we stood on the other side of the ambulance and then there's a fence here and over there's the William Wallace Monument which is mine are about a mile away maybe and then right here's the castle and so the guy at the end of that sky cozy goes you guys got the best place to see these fireworks okay the very best and I said great okay so the fireworks go off and you guys were in the fireworks like they're coming at us it's like I have never be it was just and then on the other side on a william wallace monument there it's at the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the monuments building so they're doing stereo fireworks these fireworks they're exactly this is exactly so what was exploding over our head over there see what it looked like when sick I think Sara and Scott kissed each other and the fireworks went off for New Year's is when they were taught is quite fun but it's true they that kiss did the fireworks but office way it's a funny story over here you do fireworks and you had the grand finale I've ever experienced a great fireworks display that was all grand it was all it never quit is exploding right over your head so you're looking up in it it's all around you but that's not the best part what's the best part the best part is when it's all done oh yeah and I hear the bagpipes so you start going on you start going to the bagpipe so we get we start going I go didn't I hear the bagpipes and and and and he's probably thinking how can she hear anything because if we just you know her all this noise sure enough there's there's the piper and the piper starts taking us down the castle hill singing playing auld lang syne but this is how it kind of went because we have a whole group going down right that's been up there and they've been drinking hi in this period kind of like this was hilarious and and then why I forgot that I'm doing that and then he would play another song and I'm just going oh I was crying the whole way down I was such a hot mess that was the coolest thing ever I know you guys probably go Donna Donna Donna but I'm telling you it was the best New Year's ever so that was a couple highlights but I will say that the time that Henry and I had together discussing personal things of course but you all and what God has for all of us is was just so very special and God's given us some direction and a lot of things think so and you know sometimes you have to step aside from the fray to see the battle know what I just said sometimes may be more objective than when you're swollen up mother day by day and that's all part of our calling is to hear God for a flock and and that one thing you said that I I we you
