the lord as a guilt offering i want to preach for a little while today the miracle of the milk cart challenge the miracle of the milk cart challenge my dear friends long before the purpose-driven life became popular dr miles monroe wrote a compelling tome entitled in pursuit of purpose in pursuit of purpose by dr miles monroe i want you to read that book and it's not long into the introduction that platforms as people are trying to climb and invariably crumbling to the ground they're falling to the ground with scraped legs with fractured limbs with bloody chins because they don't understand its purpose each milk crate here this new birth each milk crate holds up four gallons of milk which here this is designed for 36 pounds the average weight of a black man in america is 198 pounds which means that there is a 162 pound difference the milk crates keep falling because it wasn't built for the weight the reason why your enemies can't understand you with all the stuff that has been piled on your back with all of the stress that has been carried on your head with all of the issues that are going on in your home they don't understand how you haven't crumbled under the pressure but i want you to lay hands on yourself and declare out loud i was built for this weight come on the reason why you not strung out on drugs the reason why you haven't committed suicide the reason why you haven't had a nervous breakdown is because you were designed to handle the pressure furthermore i need you to know friends that milk crates were constructed for something to go in it not for somebody to stand on it you are supposed to have a greater investment in the things that go on inside of you as opposed to what you wear on the outside a lot of you have your value thrown off because all of your investment is on clothes and on shoes on bags and on belts and on hair but on the inside you are an empty vessel but god is looking for those who understand create in me a clean heart oh god and renew a right spirit within me what is it that you have on the inside there's an old hymn that we no longer sing that says something within me that holdeth the reins something within me that i cannot explain all that i know is that there is something and that's what the enemy cannot reach what he cannot grab what he cannot steal it is that indomitable force of what it is that you have on the inside of you the enemies of joseph thought that they could strip him because they thought his power was in his robe they didn't understand you can take my robe but you can't take my anonym and there are those of you who have lost some material things and in spite of what you have lost materially you have not lost your sense of purpose you have not lost your identity and you have not lost sight of the vision that god has for your life there are 66 crates of information history and theology that make up the bible 66 crates and this morning i want to pull out one leader from first samuel the sixth chapter where i discovered the philistines are mired in misery they are mired in misery because seven months before this chapter they stole the ark of the covenant the ark of the covenant symbolizes the glory of god and i need you to see what went wrong is that those who had no covenant those who had no relationship thought they could steal the glory what they thought was victory was about to be agony the glory cannot rest on people who don't have a relationship the glory will never manifest for those who do not have something substantive and authentic with the father there are people who stole stuff from you who thought that they could be you but they don't understand you can dress like me you can drive like me you can talk like like me but if you don't have the anointing i have you will never be who it is that i am because the glory that god has released is only for me when you have stolen glory it will not benefit you or bless you it will only burden and break you i can tell those of you that do not have authentic glory because you can only worship god while you're in the church but i need those of you who on a sunday morning that it don't matter whether i'm in a parking lot whether i'm in a folding chair whether i'm in my car or whether i'm in my bathrobe i will bless the lord at all times would you give him glory lift up that hand open up your mouth give him glory the enemy can't steal my glory i lost my job but i still got glory i lost my marriage but i still got glory i lost my savings account but i still got glory they stole the ark of the covenant and had it for seven months and it took them seven months to be convicted in their conscience that what they did was wrong i want to say this to somebody sitting on a folding chair it takes the wicked a minute to apologize it takes evildoers longer to own up to what it is that they did wrong seven months to acknowledge that you stole something that doesn't belong to you seven is the number of completion well i gotta tell you this is the first sunday in september which means it is the ninth month and every mother who is out here understands that nine months is the time it takes for everything that's in you to come out of you i declare and decree over every worshiper who is out here and every worshiper who is worshiping online god said this is the month that everything that is in you is gonna come out of you but all you got to do is push for it i need those of you that know there's a business in you there's a gift in you there's an idea in you there's a book in you there is a purpose in you there's a non-profit in you would you open up your mouth and shout out loud like it's gotta come to pass shout out loud like god's got to do it hey come on i need you right where you are this has been one of the hardest summers of your life and you thought it was satanic attack this summer was not an attack it was just labor pains god said this is your deepest pain before your birth what you're supposed to produce i need you right where you are would you lay your hands on your belly and open up your mouth and travail unto god like god you gotta get this out open up your mouth like god you gotta deliver open up your mouth god you've got to see it through [Music] god says whatever the enemy stole he is returning and i am not talking this morning about anything tangible i'm not talking about a check i'm not talking about some measly fifty dollars god said for the worshipers who are out here if you give me glory watch what god says what i am returning to you is time whoever wasted your time god said i'ma give you your time back the years that the cancer worm thought that they were gonna destroy i'm giving you your time back the philistines the philistines were of the mind that we can't just send the ark of the covenant back but we've got to i want you to hear what unsaved people with people who have no covenant people who it is who have no indwelling of the holy ghost i need you to hear what these heathen said they said we cannot return it back to god here it is without an offering [Music] they said we've got to return it here it is with a guilt offering and we are living in a generation where we no longer feel guilty about our sin we have become comfortable in our dysfunction we have let society dictate it's your thing do what you want to do so everybody knows how to praise but very few know how to repent and i wonder if there's anybody here that knows i have fallen short of his glory i have let god down by thought by word and by deed i know we can sing together i know we can dance together but maybe god is calling us to repentance would you lift up that hand and cry out unto god god give me another chance lord make me over again clean me on the inside out i've fallen short of what it is you promised me [Music] they knew they were going to have to pay and many of us feel as if we don't owe god anything but the heathen said we've got to give god a guilt offering please whatever you do don't take grace for granted i need you to think about your lifestyle your language your conversation your activities your actions and some of you ought to be sowing right now god thank you for your grace you kept me covet free when i wasn't wearing a mask thank you for your grace you covered my immune system even when i was around people that were infected thank you for your grace that even when i didn't wash my hands you washed my heart thank you for your grace and since they stole the ark of the covenant ever since they stole the glory i need you to see what happened to them they are overrun with rats and they are inundated with tumors i need to see what the bible says is that the philistines when they stole the ark of the covenant they had to deal with rats and tumors friends i need you all to know cause y'all grew up in the suburbs but those of y'all from the projects you know rats carry disease rats live off of scraps rats live in holes i gotta ask you a question aren't you tired of people nibbling off your success aren't you sick of folks smiling in your face and then talking about you behind your back aren't you tired of folk pretending to be happy for you but they really want to see your demise god says today i'm setting up rat traps so you can find out who's really not in your circle who really doesn't have your best interests at heart who really doesn't want to see you succeed so the philistines are overrun with rats but not only are they overrun with rats but they are overrun with tumors tumors are a swelling part of the body that causes abnormal growth and the dangerous thing about tumors is that tumors if they are unchecked become cancerous and so the enemy started dying of cancer god i don't know who you are i don't know where you are i know that many of our conversations and dialogue and public service announcements have been about covet but god told me to announce on this labor day sunday that for the believers he is declaring war on cancer that whatever cancer cells are in your body that they will not grow that they will not return and that they will not fester i know some of y'all don't have that kind of faith but god said jamal i know it's unseemly but he said call for every cancer survivor for every person that the doctor said there is cancer cells in your body god says in this season i am getting ready to shrink cancer cells those of you that are cancer survivors and those of you who are fighting with cancer i want you real quick to come touch this altar wherever you're seated wherever you're parked wherever you're standing god said i am a god that can heal cancer i don't care where it is whether it's breast cancer whether it's prostate cancer whether it's ovarian cancer where there's liver cancer come on zion open up your mouth our god is a healer our god is a healer our god is a healer every person watching type it on the screen cancer-free the only thing we can do is walk beside the glory the philistines knew that they were not levites and only levites could handle the ark of the covenant so they said all we can do is walk beside it because they understood my power is in proximity god said glory is about to be released and you ain't got to be a preacher a deacon or an elder all you got to do is get close to the glory those of y'all who are sitting down you can stay seated but those of y'all that are standing i dare just start walking in the glory like god wherever i go yay though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i feel no evil his rod his staff they comfort me walk in the glory when i go to the bank the glory is with me when i walk to the doctor's office the glory is with me when i walk to the school september that god will pull you out of every environment pull you out of every circle and pull you out of every relationship that does not match your purpose i don't know where y'all are but y'all on the screen god said this month you want to shout about it you will not get hurt this month your heart will not be broken this month your feelings will not get hurt god is restorative and those of you that are grateful give god a shout of thanksgiving now open up your mouth and give it praise they brought god a 24 carat offering 24 karat gold offering i'm going to challenge every person that's
