Some other stuff:

Blood is the physical element, this means using the elemental arrowheads skill on blood gives you extra physical damage, summoning a totem on blood gives it extra damage and summoning an incarnate gives it extra damage and a bonus skill. The elemental ranger talent will also do bonus damage when a target is standing in blood. Combining a necromany skillbook with a water skillbook gives you the rain blood spell, which along with the elf racial skill, is an easy way to create blood surfaces.

Arrowheads cost 5 gold pieces at vendors. You can combine arrowheads with barrels and other items to create the special arrowheads:

  • Arrowhead + poison barrel = poison arrowhead, can be used to instant heal undead characters
  • Arrowhead + oil barrel = slowdown arrowhead, does bonus physical damage
  • Arrowhead + water barrel = water arrowhead
  • Arrowhead + honey = charm arrowhead
  • Knife + antler = knockdown arrowhead
  • Knife + tooth = shock arrowhead
  • arrowshafts can be made by combing logs/sticks with axes/knives

Buying ingredients is cheaper than buying arrows or arrowheads.

original sin - is quite an expansive game with unlimited possibilities but with lots of quirks that aren't immediately apparent here's some stuff I wish I knew when I first started out with the game I've got time stands for each thing if you just want to skip around enjoy get it you have no reason not to I in the first game after every combat encounter you want the real ritual of casting restoration and your party members one by one just to get them to full health or by consuming food this takes forever due to waiting the restoration to cool down in between casts and food healing for only for like 10% of your total health well not anymore you can now just use a bedroll in your inventory to fully restore your entire party's health it doesn't even consume the bedroom and gives you a pretty cool buff you could press the all button to highlight anything that you can pick up on the ground in your general area if the items are red then the action is considered as steel if you press shift you can highlight the enemy cyclones as though if you're sneaking and so you don't actually have to be sneaking to see this a dark red is where person is currently looking at and a light red is the area person will notice if something is stolen off the ground and will catch you if you remain in the area [Music] there's a waypoint teleport button next to the map that's blue with an anchor you'll be able to teleport you to anyway point your previously encountered you can use this ability from anywhere even when you die if you're stuck in a fight and at least one of your characters gets out alive you can have the rest of your team teleport while they're dead and resurrect them again where it's actually safe to replant [Music] there's a handy button on the upper right corner of the inventory screen if you press it it will sort every item you have across all members of your party you can choose the attributes to sort by such as value and weights of the items it's especially handy if you don't know why you're going cumbered then realize you've been carrying a barrel weighing 60 pounds another cool way to manage your inventory is just to get multiple backpacks fill one of them with crafting ingredients next time you come across the ingredient again that will go straight to the bag and not clutter your inventory you can also put your bag in your hotbar this is particularly useful for mages or Rangers as you can put all your arrows or Scrolls in the back and quickly see all of them with one click without actually cluttering the rest of the hotbar [Music] I'm pretty OCD about my skills I like to lead gaps between the different skill trees to quickly organize between the different abilities that can cast from the different schools the problem is even if you lock your skill bar grenades arrows and Scrolls that you pick up still like to fill the slots and you have to reorganize the entire thing again well not anymore simply switch to a different skill bar then fill your abilities there we need pick up an item now it will go to the first hop bar and not crowd the one you just made this does not work so well with polymorph as more abilities are a two part where you gain an ability after casting the transformation spell you'll have to go back to the first skill bar to cast the second part other than that it works just fine under characters have an infinite lockpicks this means that you're under character and your party should be the one putting points into theory this makes it so you can sell any lockpick you come across for some extra moolah to buy that skill book you've always wanted under characters are also healed off of poison and damage by healing spells this is important because I've had multiple situations when I was dying as an undead character where a friend of mine healed me when not only did is damage me I proceeded to column names that are analogous to your mother and during my turn try to heal myself using health bought only just to kill myself we don't talk about those bullets if you are facing them in dead you yourself can cast healing on them this does a lot of damage we'll probably put the comment in your finger [Music] nails are super handy in this game if you combine nails with a repair hammer you will get four lockpicks without actually breaking the hammer these are great for money key money if you do have an undead in your party nails can be combined with boots to also give them immunity to slipping this we can guarantee you won't fall down when your pesky mate - creates a nice surface they usually cost something where around three gold pieces in the sell for a lot more as well as giving that utility for the boots so it's always worth it to buy them if you see them in a shop you will need Loremaster to examine pieces of gear that you find along the way this will also use up an identifying glass so make sure to stock up on those and keep them as you find them another cool thing is that as long as you have someone with or master in your party you can examine enemies on anyone's turn to see their stats and resistances this unfortunately does not work with identifying items so you'll have to give your loot to the character with or master to identify them and hopefully they don't just take the loop like the first game you'll encounter many chests along the way they require lock-picking to open but what if the chest is too high level for you to open it well backtracking is a pain so simply pick up the chest and then teleport a waypoint here you can place the chest and wait for your scanner to level up and do its job [Music] another thing can do with the chest is the stack has media items in it to give it more weight the heavier the chest is the more damage it will do an enemy's if you have telekinesis in your party you can actually move the chest around it to you or just teleported you can get to a point where you can one-shot most enemies by throwing this chest at them it's quite fun barrels are amazing I suggest every time you find a barrel of a new type just take it with you and teleport to a weight point to store it there there are infinite source of that type here's some example combinations you can use with that barrel if you combine any physical weapon with a poison barrel it will give an additional poison damage if you combine with any kind of Arrowhead it'll give you the Harrow head of that type such as poison fire or water you can combine other arrow heads like a make a fire head then combine with an oil arrow and it'll make an explosive which is quite useful early on in the game if you combine an empty potion bottle with the poison barrel you'll get a poison potion worst case you can actually take the barrel with you to a fight and then just throw the barrel at the enemies for a quick advantage you'll stumble upon runes early under the game at first I thought they were super amazing with the provided stats of the gift but realize they only give the stats to depend on what piece of armor or weapon that they're attached to so I ordered them to use when it had better gear you can actually remove them at any time so you don't have to worry about saving them for a better piece of equipment you could get later on I felt really stupid after finding that out you can steal items from shopkeepers if you spec into theory this is especially useful early game when you don't really have that much gear at all you can use one of your characters to distract the trader then use another character who I suspect in a theory just to rob them blind thieving level determines the amount of weight in gold they can steal from any select individual so it might be best just to wait take your higher level to rob some of the later traders that you encounter this really helps the early game like I said before if you're playing on tactician mode especially so you do not have to go into a fight with only a broom in your hands one character can steal from one NPC one time if you find an item that gives you a points to theory you can actually give it to all your characters your party and cycle stealing from them is to give yourself a booster world teleportation is extremely useful skill not only does it provide you a way to teleport pesky enemies away from you potentially saving your characters routine means life but also has some interesting uses out of combat for example you can teleport yourself to areas you wouldn't actually normally be able to access and find some amazing gear and secrets see a chest that's too far away just teleport and reach do you not have a person with teleport your party well there's a quest early on in the game which you can get an item call to close the teleportation and guess what they do just talk to Gavin and try to roleplay as the Crocodile Hunter there's a particularly useful ring you can get early on called my toes ring what it does is give you the skill restoration even if you do not have a point in the Hydra sophistical simply find the euro flower and give it to my dotage Isis he rewards you with this ring if you do not have the flower when you talk to them all the conversation options will probably lead him to attacking you so be careful did you screw up your build or simply do not like your character at all you'll be able to respect your character for free as many times as you want after after one so don't worry you will be able to adjust the later on so here's 5 more quick hits that really do not need much explanation you can delay your turn if you want your enemies to move first [Music] you could send items to other members no matter how far they are including the dosed teleportation gloves you can summon your in Carnot's before the battle starts you don't have to waste DP to do so in combat this also applies to buffs as well as skills they use up a lot of AP [Music] [Music] if you hold down shift and click it adds that item to wears automatically which you can sell all at once when trading [Music] you can combine potions to get better potions using the crafting menu like two minor potions will make a medium potion and so on [Music] and so that's all I have for you guys hope you found it somewhat useful instead obligatory please like and potentially subscribe thanks for watching [Music]
