somebody come on somebody who is here would you just give the lord a praise somebody would you just lift your hands and give god a shout in this place this morning we have come [Music] to this place to give worship to our god today is just another beautiful day that we get together together in the house of the lord and online to give worship and praises to our god jehovah and our god is an awesome god would you agree with me hallelujah so every year at this time of the year at the beginning of length we gather together as a congregation across the district to simply seek the face of the lord as we begin an intense time of just drawing closer together to the lord as we seek to hear him and feel him and see him in just different ways this time is one of the most if not probably the most uh important time in the christian calendar where we anticipate as we commemorate the the the finished work of christ on the cross it is at the very center of the christian church and it's something that we give god thanks and praise for and so today as we come together as a district i'm just grateful to god that we are here and that our hearts are in tuned and ready to seek the face of the lord are you ready to seek the face of the lord today are you ready to call on the name of the lord today of course also begins a very a very important time in the life of this congregation we begin today our rotm renewal of the mind and that is an intense um time of just interaction with the lord prayer and bible studies and reading of the word uh and doing acts of charity among a number of other things and so we're just happy to know that we are in the house of the lord would you stand with me everyone as we prepare our hearts to engage in a time of rich uh worship and fellowship and seeking of the lord we're going to invite the worship team to come and to lead us into a time of consecration as we look to the lord today let us let us let us open our hearts those of you who are unknown let us open our hearts those of you are here as we seek the lord at this time god bless you let us enjoy the worship and the fellowship today in this very house god bless you [Music] lord prepare me to be a sanctuary [Music] for you oh lord prepare me to be a sanctuary pure and holy tried and true [Music] [Music] you wearing for you [Music] oh lord prepare me to be [Music] [Applause] is [Music] is [Music] thanksgiving [Music] you [Music] good morning everyone this scripture reading for this morning is taken from matthew 4 reading verses 1 through to 11 and i'll be reading from the new international version that's matthew 4 reading verses 1 through to 11 the niv version and it reads those then jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil after fasting 40 days and 40 nights he was hungry the tempter came to him and said if you are the son of god tell these stones to become bread jesus answered it is written man shall not live by bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of god then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple if you are the son of god he said throw yourself down for it is written he will command his angels concerning you and they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone jesus answered him it is also written do not put the lord your god to the test again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor all this i will give you he said if you bow down and worship me jesus said to him away from me satan for it is written worship the lord your god and serve him only verse 11 and last then the devil left him and angels came and attended him here and as a portion of god's holy word we honor by saying thanks be to god we will now be doing the warnings hymn and it's my faith looks up to thee so if you look in the center of your program you'll see it or it's him 69 and it's also and it also will be projected bless the lord praise the lord [Music] the calvary save your device now [Music] take all my guilt away [Music] oh let me from this day before into a time of just personal consecration at this time i'm going to invite everybody everybody to just right where you are just talk to the lord for a moment you know as we begin this time of the year i believe that there are so many of us who have a personal things that we are working with we are talking to god about we're seeking god for and so at this time i'm going to invite us to just talk to the lord would you just open up your hearts to him would you confess sins that you feel may be right there lingering that needs to be dealt with would you talk to the lord about a struggle would you commit to him something that you are believing him for in this lengthened season would you simply just open your heart to him and trust him to do what only he alone can do at this time hallelujah thank you jesus thank you lord let us pray let us pray [Music] [Music] hallelujah [Music] thank you jesus blessed be your holy name o lord for you are worthy we kneel before your throne foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] me [Music] [Music] father in the name of your son we honor you and we thank you for this glorious morning lord we thank you for this tremendous opportunity that you've given to us lord to call on your great name we declared this morning that this is the day that you have made and that we will rejoice and be glad in it lord what a gladness we felt when god the opportunity arose for us to come into the house of the lord lord we thank you that god the opportunity to fellowship god is real again in the physical oh god as we come we come acknowledging the fact that lord god you are here that lord you are with us we come acknowledging the fact that god you are the source of our strength and the strength of our lives we come acknowledging god that on our own god we are frail and weak and passing away but in you lord god almighty we have life and habit more abundantly it is against that background god that we kneel at the cross this morning believing that you will meet us there god as we come we know you are waiting for us we believe that you are with that you are ready to listen to our every care god we believe that we can leave those cares at the cross and we believe that god you will respond to us according to your will god we confess to you this morning oh god our weaknesses we recognize oh god that even at our very best lord god almighty we are prone to wonder and so lord we confess this morning to you our own sins we confess to you this morning our own faults and failures we acknowledge god almighty that we have gone astray we acknowledge god almighty that in our very thoughts and in our very motives that god we've not been whom you have desired us to be but god we are conscious of the fact that you are lord over everything we are conscious of the fact god that you made a way so that if and when we falter god we can come boldly to the throne of grace and we can cry have a father we cry out to you this morning in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we ask you lord god to search us like you did the psalmist we ask you lord god almighty to know our hearts we ask you to try us this morning god we ask you to see if there will be a lord god any wicked ways in us that would god almighty hinder oh god our prayers from coming up we ask you in the name of jesus christ to cleanse us lord from all sins and set us free as we come before your throne lord we are anticipating oh god almighty your word we are anticipating your word to our hearts we are anticipating god a time of worship lord where we can simply bow before you and declare your sovereignty we are anticipating lord a time of fellowship in this place oh god we are anticipating the brush of angel's wings as we see glory on each face we are anticipating oh god a move of your spirit lord god we long to be in your presence we know we were together on sunday in our different congregations and that you visited with us but god here we are in your presence lifting holy hands to you here we are praising you jesus for all the things you've brought us through so we declare this morning in the name of jesus christ that as we hunger and thirst for righteousness sake that mountains will be moved out of our ways today that strongholds will be broken down that chains will be broken that god almighty the captives will be set loosed in jesus name god god we empty of ourselves lord god almighty we turn our cups up and we say fill our cups lord we lift them up lord come and quench the thirsting the longing of our souls bread of heaven we are hungry bread of heaven we are hungry we are desirous of more of you jesus hear us god hear us god hear us god we know you've heard us prayed many times before god we know that god you're giving attention to so many other people around the world in different places and different spaces at this time right now but we believe that you are the omnipresent god we believe that you are the omnipotent god we believe that god you are the one god who can do all things and so god almighty as we lay before you today we ask you god to have your way god we bind the powers of darkness now in the name of jesus we declare in jesus name that this space in the sanctuary and outside of this sanctuary and online is now dedicated to the very presence and will of god the father god the son and god the holy ghost we declare even now in jesus name that oh god almighty your kingdom will come in this place online upstairs where the children will be we declare in the name of jesus christ that your will will be done right here in 3b online upstairs as it is in heaven in jesus name come lord come in your strength coming your power come in your glory reveal yourself to us open oh god our hearts to your lord god open your heart to us demonstrate your love to us again god almighty we are open we are ready we are anticipating oh god almighty we need a touch from you in this place and god we are ready [Music] lord [Music] i pray that those who are online in mountain view that those who are online in kintyre that those who are online in papine that those who are aligning the escarpment road area we pray that those who are online god in the diaspora we play that those who are unknown everywhere god will feel the very move of your spirit they will sense the very god almighty weight of your presence and we declare that before this day is through when we would have left this place that god not one soul who walked through these doors believe here the same way we came in jesus name somebody must know that god you were in this place today god we did not come lord god almighty to show off we didn't come god almighty oh god almighty to exalt ourselves we didn't come lord god almighty oh god to meet and greet god we come to hear from you god we come to experience you we come to encounter you so reveal yourself in this place in the name of jesus somebody must know that you were here in this place in jesus name saturate upstairs god where our children will be god let there be a holy hush upstairs where our children will be god almighty visit with them god almighty i pray that the fire of god will fall in this place today lord holy ghost let the holy ghost move like a magnitude displaced today lord god from the pulpit to the pew lord god saturate god almighty every worship member lord god almighty anoint every band member lord god almighty anoint every tech team worker lord every osha lord every person on the outside who may be at the desk registering our god at the gate greeting god almighty send the fire in the kitchen lord god in the office we ask you in the name of jesus christ to let this place be consumed with the fire of your spirit we ask you to let this place and every heart be consumed god with the presence of your holy ghost and glorify yourself in this place we need you like never before we need you like never before come holy spirit come holy spirit burn out sins and carnal weaknesses set us on fire one more time let there be o god almighty a holy move of your presence in this place we are anticipating the inevitable supernatural intervention of god we are expecting a miracle lord god almighty we are expectant in this place so come god and have your way coming up your way coming up your way coming of your way come on of your way come on of your way come on of your way this is your house these are your hearts these are your instruments come and have your way of god come and have your way god will land for a move we long for a move on the district come but we are open lord god almighty to the move of your spirit god we are open to the move of your spirit god if you don't come we will wait god we have we are open to your spirit move god lord the what a pleasure it is for us to be together in the physical space as well as online it is indeed a tremendous honor to be able to sit together and to worship together in heavenly places i am delighted to have all of you here at the escarpment road new testament church of god 3b escarpment road myself sister pinnock i'm the congregation here we welcome you and we thank god for you and our prayer is that before we leave here today i don't know about you but i asked the lord i asked the lord sister leon last night i said god i asked god i said god don't let us come and live the same way i said don't let us come and go back the same way somebody must know that they were in the presence of the lord and it is clear in the scriptures that when man encounters god man leaves a change hello and i pray god gives us encounter today hallelujah hallelujah let me take this opportunity as the district overseer for the escarpment road district of churches to make welcome all of you who are visiting us at this local assembly but to also just acknowledge the presence of all of the churches on the district it's so good for us to come together in worship in this way i want to first and foremost acknowledge the presence of the leaders on the district we have from the entire new testament church of god the newest shepherd on the block reverend oswald and mrs leon we're going to ask them to stand up so that we can see them are we going to ask them to turn around so don't sit on it don't sit down yet uh i i know that that kind of a club is a weak can think a club put your hands together for god's servants thank you so much you may be seated we want to welcome you to your first unity fast and we want to say to those of you from papine and escarpment road and mountain view who have not been to kentucky as yet since reverend and sister leon you know took up their appointments i can tell you that they have been on fire up there them just are gone the entire people will tell you that they have been blazing the trail we want to thank god for reverend mario samuels and the sister samuels who served wonderfully at that congregation handed this amazing ministry partner and couple the baton and they have been running well and we give god praise for you for both of you god bless you in a rich way we want to also um acknowledge in the same breath the members from the entire church would you just stand up so we can see you kintara stand up come on put your hands together for the entire church in the group that you see standing up we have council members we have youth directors and ministry leaders and we say to you it is so good for us to be together again god bless you may be seated and then of course if you come down from kintaya we have we have reverend dr ajilan ferdinand and lady ferdinand in their absence and their children we want to ask dr ferdinand to stand and he pastors the pastor the papine new testament church of god i'm still feasting them clap they think yeah man thank you so much dr ferdinand and his wife lady karine and their children have been doing a tremendous job under the tent like i believe that people who passed are under 10 and does as well as dr ferdinand is doing are top pastors yemen honestly and and that's and that's not just word he is doing they are doing a tremendous job at that church and i want to bless god for you my friend and my brother it's so good to serve with you on that district in the same breath i'm going to ask the members from the papi new testament to stand at this time come on put your hands together papine relax the pump up in nice and in this cohort that's standing you have council members and clerks and uh uh ministry leaders you may be seated women's ministries presidents and life builders presidents and we're so delighted to have you as we worship the lord today in the beauty of holiness and then of course if we come on a little bit down and we go down to um the mountain view area you know there is a gentleman and a young lady down there um i'm not sure when was the last time any of you went down to mountain view but i think that church is a like a district church yeah i think that the pastor and his wife and the leadership at that congregation is doing a fantastic job listen and so we want to acknowledge the presence of bishop courtney and lady cosmin beeson would you stand would you stand and their two children are here with them stand up children so we can see or two yes man it's still thank you thank you clapping that thank you so much so good to have you we are we're going to ask the brethren from the mountain view church to stand up all the breathing from the mountain view church come on put your hands together for mountain view some are upstairs and some downstairs so good to be worshiping with you and then of course all the persons who are standing let it be known that there were persons who were standing online you know their hands were open there they were clapping on things and we so acknowledge you and it's so good to have you in the presence of the lord as we worship together i want to thank god for you bishop and lady beast and for the job you're doing at the mountain view congregation we are pleased and we believe that god is pleased there and of course we're going to invite the brethren from the escarpment road church to stand up all ministry's president and what a tremendous job she has been doing on the district and i just want to salute the folks the brethren here at 3b who have been doing a tremendous job in the ministry to this region i love and appreciate you and it is our pleasure to serve you of course um we have two boys mr samuel stand up samuel and joel and joel is somewhere around the place oh joel is upstairs attacked at our tech team yes and so we just ask you to put your hands together for them hallelujah we also have today uh our district uh uh youth and discipleship director in the person of brother ryoka uh brother rayoka i think is probably upstairs with the children's church and so we want to thank god for them at this time i am going to ask you that to send up all the children up to children church so the children are here um you are free to go up to children church uh unkarioka has prepared a nice program for the children and so we don't want you to miss out on those activities amen you don't have to be afraid we have capable persons who will take care of your children and just like how we sanitize down here and run social distance and all of those things the protocols are observed opportunity to give thanks to the lord for the privilege to be in his presence this morning here at the escarpment road church worshiping with you saints fellowshipping with you and petitioning the throne of grace for help in this incredible difficult season i want to greet our district overseer bishop pinock and sister pinoc their family the boys to all the leaders of this congregation let me also greet and acknowledge my pastoral colleagues bishop leon and the sister leon i almost said bishop leo tweeter [Laughter] bishop beason and sister beeson their children and to the members of their congregations also let me just greet those folks who have journeyed here from papine i see some on the team here and i see others scattered throughout the congregation saints what a joy it is to be in the house of god and i know that the greeting was done already but just turn to the person next to you and say good to see you today amen it is it is wonderful if you are attuned with what is taking place in the world you will know that there is major invasions taking place in europe as the russian nation [Music] under the leadership of their president president putin is invading ukraine one of its former territories in an attempt to reunify and to resurrect the old ussr federation and it is causing tremendous uncertainty across the world because we are hoping that this ill-timed misjudged event won't escalate into a full-scale nuclear war we are tired of covid aren't we we are just trying to get over two years of lockdowns and isolation and other kinds of frustrating experiences as a result we cannot manage a nuclear war at this time and we're hoping that as we pray today that our prayers for these nations and for the peoples who are there from all over the world including people of jamaican and african descents who themselves are finding it incredibly difficult to escape because they are black and they can't get into the buses they have to walk and it's it's difficult for everyone we remember these nations in our prayers amen let me perhaps maybe make some comments about you know today's ash wednesday a significant religious day a sacred day we may say it symbolizes this start of the 40 days of fast that jesus christ had to undergo having been led by the spirit into the wilderness he fasted for 40 days and in this 40 days i'm sure he was exhausted just two days ago i heard how long can we go without food and water and by extreme strength a person may be able to do up to 14 days with at least some degree of consciousness still there beyond that it becomes so difficult you hallucinating you're weak you're making bad decisions i mean you you can you can imagine it for yourselves and in the midst of this experience jesus christ is tested by the devil look at how satan operates it chooses the time when you are least equipped physically when you are disturbed perhaps emotionally when you are weary and he comes to you with the most intense and powerful temptations that you can endure my brothers and sisters throughout this season of lent i want you to be aware of satan's temptations when they come don't get it wrong it is a mistake to think that while you are on a season of renewal of the mind and fasting and sacrifice and drawing closer to god that satan will give you the time to focus on the lord and to build your relationship and say let us wait until he is finished and then we will provide some minor temptations it is when you are at the peak of your spiritual journey sometimes when you feel most powerful spiritually but you may be vulnerable in other areas that's when satan steps in and that's when he tests you in the most severe ways and as i close i look at the passage of scripture which our sister shalom read from from saint matthew chapter 4 which describes the temptation of jesus coming off of the events that took place in the chapter before where jesus was just baptized in a voice from heaven came and said this is my son he's the lord and fantastic things were declared of jesus and as he went into the into the desert and you look at the temptations that the enemy brought to him on each occasion the the the devil asked and said if you are the son of god do this if you are the son of god do that if you are the son of god bow down and it seems to me that on all three occasions when he was tempted he was tempted around the issue of power how powerful he was if you are powerful make bread from stones if you are powerful uh i will you will own the nations of the earth if you are powerful this if you are powerful that and he tested jesus on the matter of power and i feel that through this season he will do the same thing for you and against you and i want you as you pray that you be on guard against reliance on your own power reliance on your own strength and remember that the power to overcome satan's temptation lies in your obedience and use of the word of god and your dependence on the strength that god supplies my brothers and sisters lent is a wonderful opportunity to renew your life to gain some spiritual power but when you have it please don't let satan use it to do the wrong things use the power that you have to bring glory and honor to god and he will be pleased with you mary go boldly before the throne of grace to seek power to seek anointing to seek his blessings and may we today as we pray really give our hearts to the lord and and petition his throne for his help in times of great distress god bless you and may we continue to enjoy his presence as we pray together in jesus name amen [Music] shall we praise the lord shall we bless the name of jesus did we come with our praise this morning can we stand to our feet because god deserves all the glory this almighty god or hallelujah let me invite you to help me pray as we pray for these men of god you say because when satan touch them yeah he may touch me too yeah but see you can try and mess them up in which i mess way up to amend somebody and so we are praying that god will keep them and that they will say like paul follow me as i follow christ they will say the very same let us pray father we thank you you are god that you institute all things that you create all things we thank you for this poor man of god paul has cried himself as a prisoner they are prisoners for you they are prisoners for your kingdom they are shepherds leading your flocks flocks that are never easy to lead because we are sheeps and at times the sheeps tend to go their own way at times sheep tends to do their own thing and said it's never easy to lead sheeps but god we pray for strength for these leaders we pray holy spirit that you will guide these leaders and as joshua says when they find themselves in difficult times they will say lord my eyes are on you and i am looking to you god for help because i cannot do it all by myself and so god as i present them before you i ask you to cover them i ask you god to cover them hide them in your pavilion i them in your secret place i am almighty god under the rock that is higher than i i ask you lord to keep their mind to guide their mind to guard their thoughts and father god i come against principalities i come against powers i come against rulers of darkness i come against spiritual wickedness in i place towards their life and i want to stand and say to the devil that these men you shall not overcome them in the name of jesus christ i want to say to you devil that these men of god very triumph and they will go for it and they will do the work they will serve as the men of god and they will triumph as the men of god because that's who they are and so even know god build offense around them build a edge around them and their families keep position of ukraine right now any one of us and so as a church we understand clearly that some things we won't be able to get done unless we are praying and fast amen so we we must be praying for spirit that you will be with the people of russia you will be with the people of ukraine god many persons are trying to understand what is happening many persons are trying their very best to work out and to navigate their way but in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we pray that lord you will go ahead and you will do the job we cannot do things on our own oh god the people from the west they're they're they're seeking oh god to intervene in whatever way they can oh lord so we pray jesus that he will just give directives to nato at this time i ask of your spirit of the living god that you will give directives to the european union we ask a few spirit of the living god that you will visit the people in kiev right now oh god they're having a rough time it is difficult it is not easy to deal with what is happening but jesus you have been with them oh god and you continue to be faithful and many people are asking where is god in the midst of this but jesus we understand clearly that you remain faithful you remain the god of the universe and so jesus we pray that lord you will do a visitation to that location right now in the name of jesus we pray god for the people in belarus oh god will you touch them as they seek to get themselves involved god i pray that you will discourage them right now in the name of jesus father we ask of you that lord you will do the job you will get whatsoever you have in store done in the name of jesus we pray master that lord you will assign your angels open this oh god territory right now in the name of jesus father i thank you that you remain touch their minds you will touch their spirit you will touch their entire being in the name of jesus god visit the neighboring countries as they seek to give support to the refugees we understand lord that over 830 000 people have fled oh god so far but jesus it will be so difficult to survive without the help of others will you give mercies and compassion to the neighboring countries as they seek to give support we pray god that you will provide for them as they seek to provide for those who are refugees lord i commit them into your hands at this time o god i pray for the people in kharkiv also jesus god the the russians are coming upon them but lord i ask of you that you will grant mercies unto them lord many persons are dying without you oh god over the last 24 hours about 20 about 20 odd persons oh god lost their lives we ask of your spirit of the living god that you will save backsliders and sinners for your glory god in the midst of everything in the midst of meme and chaos and war jesus you can save lives for your kingdom so we pray jesus you will allow persons to come to surrender and serve you as their personal savior and lord god you are in control of this universe and so we look to you we we pray master that you will grant peace the peace that your grand lord that you grant unto us jesus is not the peace that this world is expecting unable to give but jesus your over everything that you have created and these communities within which we live work and serve have been created by you for you mighty god somewhere along the line sometimes things aren't going according to your plan so even though we ask heavenly father that you enter each one of these communities god you see the escarpment road new testament church and the environs within which it serves god i pray even know that you will speak peace into this atmosphere we pray that you will provide job opportunities we pray that you will provide productivity mighty god because a lot of what happens is because the hands are idle so i pray god that you will provide opportunities for every single person in this community mighty god as i am here i remember in the bible when they asked can anything good come out of nazareth can anything good come out of hermitage can anything good come out of this community yes it can in the name of jesus so god this morning we pull down strongholds and we ask that you intervene into this community we ask god that you do a new thing make a way in this desert in the name of jesus god you see the community served by the puppy new testament church of god you see the needs god you see every single thing that is happening you see that there is a luck you see that there is a need so this morning i ask god for you to intervene i pray that you will indeed release jobs and better jobs over these communities that you will cause mighty god for these communities to be a beacon even know in the name of jesus god you see mountain view oh hallelujah god you know the things that are happening in mountain view but this morning we asked that you just go on every corner every lane every alley this morning let your holy spirit mighty god go through these communities because you can cause change there is nothing that is too hard for you to do so i pray god that you will go over to mountain view and even ink entire god lord jesus you see and you know the situations you know everything that is happening i pray god that you will go forth and touch the heart of every single man on the corner of every single woman in every house god that you will provide opportunities for them that you will make a way when there seems to be no way do it mighty god we are here as your church we are here and we are praying for these communities so we ask god that you send a divine intervention because we cannot do it without you god we are here you see that the kingdom of god is at hand no more than ever there are wars and there are rumors of wars god but as the believers living in these communities may we not get complacent may we not mighty god get comfortable and be comfortable that our soul is uncut in the heaven of rest god you gave us a great commission go so i speak over this church this morning go go into your communities go into your communities and tell them that god is love that jesus saves that god is the way the truth and the life let us see a shift in our communities because guess what that shift can come from our great great god hallelujah so god even as we pray over these communities you have said in your word what we bind on earth is bound in heaven so god we bind crime and violence this morning and we lose peace we bind joblessness mighty god and pray that economic opportunities will be released over these communities god even though we bind the the generational curses that seem to just be perpetuating perpetuating that you are 16 and you drop out of school and that is it we declare mighty god that these communities will have highly educated people that opportunities will be provided for everyone in the name of jesus god we declare that our communities will be places where businesses thrive that our communities will be places where peace reigns in the name of jesus where you don't have to worry you don't have to fret god you can't do it so we put these communities in our you know you know your but what i'm saying um to your bedroom god was there in the midst god was in the midst of that fire because because i just normally i have like keep water in the bathroom at night in case water going and you have to flush the bathroom so i just grabbed one bucket of the water small bucket you know and just dash and the window and i just grab another bucket and i just dashed the window on the bus in the in the bedroom and the fire went the fire went the same place that you ever see something like that remember it's inside i was you know i was inside and i dashed the fire and the wind and it ought outside so i'm just giving god thanks for deliverance because i could we could be we could be sleeping enough we could be sleeping and the house ablaze with us me and my husband and they also will be buried up but god is so good to us and i just want to give god thanks because god really and truly was there with us to deliver us from that fire and and set us free you understand so i'm just two weeks ago you know the devil think he got me but god i was coming from work you know and i reach in papine and sid was coming because no taxi was understand and from where down the road you know are trying to walk know from there's a distance from where this taxi stand is to where the bus stop is so i'm trying now to come to reach to the corner so because it was coming up very fast and i said i really want to get people because they're getting late so just as i watching it and going towards the corner where the stop light is to say i could just put on my hand and to just to make to indicate by the driver see me let's say when we take a stuck missing minion what were happening now but when we reach akana and the boss i call may the speed you know me send me just spread out another road right another reward myself spread out me back i mean it's like when i saw the bus came and the bus stopped right there when i was right here it blocked off the entire road because it's it's like the way i was so i never frightened nina i never frightened me just down there i'm it does i look for see what come out of my bag and i black and all they are blowing blowing blowing the other traffic the driver decides to stay there and then he send out a guy on the bus and him say what happened because it's like you know we see you from a mile away the driver saw me and i said who's the driver after i'm coming off him said no we'll we see you man and we and and when he reaches we don't know what happened so i got up honey come on the road and i go up someone and come and him stop a little below when he stopped he said when i'm getting to the bus now he said to me say what really happened we just could have turned him and said never lose again because i know from time he said god was on the job he said i saw you coming up you know i see the person but i see the person from afar off because anyone if he never saw me he would have run right over me in the road right there but god and that is why we say we have still the coursing uh and we have to worship god we have a walker we have to live for god because i said if it wasn't for god i wouldn't be here today to testify hallelujah the blood prevents the blood of the reason lamb power to save just as in olden days the blood prevails no matter [Music] this is [Applause] bless the lord everybody let me hear you bless the doctor recently i had reason to go to the doctor and you know when i went i went for a totally different reason and when he tested me did the preliminaries uh the first thing he did was he double checked my blood pressure and when he double checked it he looked at me and he said to me your blood pressure is at what you call it stroke level your blood pressure is that stroke level and he said because it's at stroke level i'm going to send you to do a urine test and when i did the urine test i went out and did it and when i returned there was protein in my urine and he said to me based on the level at which your blood pressure is at and the fact that there is urine in your there's protein in your urine this suggests some level of kidney damage or liver or something like that so i'm gonna send you to do other tests and sense of god when he said it to me i am sister campbell burke's sister when he said it to me i remember hypertension runs in our family that's what they say and so my mother had it and my grandmother died from it and my aunts and everybody have it and but me and my sister we believe god that it stops there and so when he said it to me i said okay okay i'm gonna do what you say because wisdom dictates that i do that but then i called on the prior warriors i called my sister and my mother and and my church people and everybody and i said pray because that was the doctor's report but we know that we have another reporter and so we went down in prayer and said of god i stand here today to tell you that every test the liver test kidney test blood test of all sorts all came back negative they said you are fully healthy so i just want to reassure somebody today i'm not saying don't trust the doctors because god made them for a purpose but there is a higher report rep i choose to believe the report of the lord whose report do you believe god bless you in jesus name i can recommend my lord to any man oh i can recommend my lord to anybody jesus heals heard my sister testifying about the fire that she had and i walked over because i had a fire experience too you know the other day when the mother-in-law died i was on my way to cricket manchester but we had to detour to go to mandeville by the funeral home going up ken jones highway i noticed that there was smoke coming from another vehicle what i was saying it's a that's natural because it's diesel it's disappointing and and going uphill with lure that will happen but then a bit further up somebody overtook me and told me that the truck was on fire and i stopped and when i stopped you know i started to smell you know there was the smell of smoke on fire all around and when i looked there was a fire i blazed on top of the fuel tank and i i nearly panicked i said to max it's a maxi in iran the vehicle is going to blow up and um see him i don't know where people came from i had like battle water in the back i i had a pickup and people clear master taking the water off after a treat and the fire and um and you know and uh after a while before i went out and um a man said let me go under any time to walk out of the fire and you know what caused the fire a piece of cardboard got lodged between the muffler and the tank and the muffler got hot and and it ignited so you know like like um i see you know i sent a a a a testimony and what's up and i said sit and lose again and me just solve the matter here i want us to put this one paper before the lord and every day during the 45 days i want us to put this paper put this paper remember jesus said he told the story because he want us to pray and not give up so we are going to persist as we present these requests before the lord as we go into the declarations for this afternoon i want to repeat a passage of scripture that was shared earlier coming from matthew 18 verse 19 to 20 which says if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they ask it says it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven for where two or three are gathered together in my name there i am in the midst of them as we make these declarations about rotm 2022 so haraldina's already prayed and we believe those prayers i want us to stand in the collective power of agreement in that we're saying we're entering into this period and we said there are more than two or three of us there are many of us and we said jesus will agree you see those two or three you want i know if not for we i want as i declare these things that you stand in agreement that we're saying it is so in the name of jesus our theme for the 45 days is calvary god's love story our tagline is no greater love so in the name of jesus we declare that the renewal of the mind 2022 is a time of refreshing we declare that it is a time of renewal and revival among god's people we declare that this church and this program are built upon jesus the solid rock and that the gates of hell shall not prevail do we have a witness as a people of god whom he has purchased with his blood we declare that for this arrow to him and beyond we declare that this is a praying church we declare that we shall be praying without ceasing we declare that we shall be praying in the spirit at all times with all types of prayers for the saints we declare that we shall be praying for our leaders we shall be praying for one another we declare that day and night our prayers will rise like incense before god's throne as we ourselves become living sacrifices of prayer every single day we raise up our prayer altars to you lord and with it clear that we shall draw near to you so that you shall draw near to us according to james 4 verse 8. in the name of jesus we declare that like the church in ephesus we accept the lord's rebuke that we have left our first love we repent this afternoon and we do our first works because we don't want the lord to remove our lamb stand father in the name of jesus we declare that the love of god is renewed in our hearts because in this season we're declaring that the lord will take away the heart of stone from among us and he will give us a heart of flesh we declare that every stone heart even now will be penetrated by the spirit of god and become flesh again we declare that the lord himself will write his commandments in all of our hearts and that we will all fear him from the least to the greatest do we have a witness we declare this morning that the lord we love the lord we love the lord because he first loved us the bible says we love our god because he is the source of love we love him because he himself is love so therefore according to deuteronomy 6 verse 4 we say we love the lord with all of our hearts with all of our souls and with all of our strength lord the word says how can we love god and hate our brother the bible says if we do that we are liars because how can we love god whom we have not seen and hate our brother that we see dearly we therefore repent of that lying spirit in the name of jesus and we uproot every root of bitterness from among us we uproot every spirit of unforgiveness in the name of jesus every spirit of malice every spirit of resentment every spirit of strife and jealousy among us we uprooted even now in the name of jesus according to the command of the scripture we leave our gifts at the altar and we go and make it up with our brothers and sisters who are offended so the lord can accept our sacrifice in the name of jesus this afternoon we declare that we are a loving church we declare that we are a loving church in the same way that jesus loves us we declare that we love one another we love our neighbors as ourselves lord we forgive just as how god in christ jesus forgave us the bible says love does no ill to its neighbor so we love our neighbors freely because love is the fulfillment of the law according to first peter 4 verse 8 the bible says love covers a multitude of sins we therefore declare that we love each other deeply we declare that we are kind to each other we are tenderhearted to each other we declare that we make allowance for each other's faults and serious things we are saying no we declare that we bear each other's burdens because by doing so we fulfill the law of christ we declare that in the season god is restoring love relationships in our families come on we declare that husbands will love their wives even as christ loves the church we declare that they will give of themselves sacrificially to meet the needs of their families according to ephesians 5 25-29 we declare that husbands christian husbands will be fearful to their wives of their youth and that they will not be enticed by other women we declare it in the name of jesus we declare that women too will love respect and submit to their husbands in godly honor of their relationship with jesus christ we pray for restoration of love in marital relationships in the name of jesus we declare in this season that according to malachi 4 verse 6 that the lord is turning the hearts of fathers back to their children we declare that god is turning the hearts of children back to their fathers so every spirit of abandonment every spirit of abuse every spirit of hurt in the wombs we overturn those even now and we declare that fathers are present we declare that mothers are present we come against the spirit of abuse already clear they are loving homes in the name of jesus we declare according to ephesians 6 that children will obey their appearance in the lord because this is right we declare healing and deliverance upon every relationship in the name of jesus this is what i just said and i want us to agree again we declare that like the persistent widow in luke 18 that we are going to continue to put the request before the lord we are going to continue to ask we are going to continue to seek we are going to continue to knock upon the doors of heaven because we are going to seek and knock until those petitions are answered in the name of jesus we declare that as we pray that god's love has been poured out into our hearts to the power of the holy spirit we declare the world will know that we are jesus's disciples because we have love for one another the bible says this love casts away all fear because there is no fear in love so by the help of the holy spirit we begin this journey in power we begin this journey in love we begin this journey in soundness of mind because we have been made perfect in god's love we see these decorations in the name of jesus as we thank him for his sacrificial love we thank him for calvary which is his love story truly there's no greater love than this we therefore declare that love is upon this journey and that love binds us love refreshes us and it renews us in jesus we declare a revival in our homes we declare a revival in our churches we declare a revival in our schools we declare our revival in our workplaces in the name of jesus as we march out in the collective power of agreement this afternoon we declare that there's a harvest of souls do we believe it if we believe it we're declaring that we launch out into the deep we lower our nets we are ready for a catch in the name of jesus so we get up and we celebrate i wonder if somebody could get up we get up and we celebrate because we believe the word of the lord that there is a sound of the abundance of rain let it rain over this program let it reign over this church as we seal these decorations in the name of jesus hallelujah come on somebody raise your hands and declare raise your hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah ah something supernatural is going to happen in this place amen amen amen don't sit because if you sit down i may go a little bit longer and we're just about ready to close we're going to be giving at this time we're going to be giving we want you to take out an offering as we prepare to give to the lord amen you we give to the lord because we understand that the lord first gave to us amen and we understand that we can't out give god and so today we are going to be giving unto the lord and so we want everyone to take out an offering as we give an offering to the lord our god there are different ways in which you can give we will you can give the ushers are coming to you as you give as well as we have point of sale machine at the back where you can give to and we want you to know that the offering that is given today is on a district level and will not go to any one local congregation and so we are asking you to give to this district activity amen and so at this time we thank you lord for who you are for your for the fact that you've given to us lord in abundance what what what an amazing opportunity it is for us god after feasting lord god almighty at your table all day long to god give back to you lord a portion of what you've given to us may you blessed oh god each giver at this time bless o god each gift and cause this gift to be used lord god to build your kingdom we commit ourselves our hearts and our minds and our lives to you and we say be glorified lord as we give to you in jesus name we pray go ahead and collect the offering um i want to just say as well particularly to those who are going to be um joining rotm of course we have uh done books again last year we did we did two books this year uh we heard your your your comments last year that instead of doing a devotional and the manual to do one book and so we did one book this is what the book will look like you will hear about the price in a little bit so all of this has the manual for rotm the complete manual as well as the 45 days of devotion in them so there's devotion for every single day we did one that's for the adult of course there is a manual for the teens as well or a devotional for the teens and so we want all of our teens at church you must get a devotional this is devotional for every single day of this journey and we're looking forward to the blessings we have some wonderful new additions in there this year what we would have done is that we would have taken photographs of our young people our children and those are the photographs that you will see in the books and so please ensure that you get books for your teens and then of course if you think we're going to be outdone of course we made a children book and if you look at the front of the children um devotional you will see our children on it so we never had to go pull down any from off the internet and and and go through all the processes but guess what we took pictures of our children and this book is our book for the renewal of the period renewal of the main season this book is for twelve hundred dollars so we're asking you to ensure that you get the books for your child it is important that you get the book so that your children or your child can have devotional every day so if you don't have cash to purchase the book you can purchase the book using the point of sale machine at the back um the finance team is ready to um assist you there uh unfortunately the these books are not going to be ready for today so we have them and there was an error that was made with the print the printing and those will be corrected this week and so by sunday we will have the uh edited version the corrected version for the teens and the uh the adults but the children's version of the book is up and ready let me just say one more thing before we close offering okay um one more thing so reverend dr ajilan ferdinand who is the pastor of the paping church has written a discipleship book and i know him don't have any with him um knows what happened to him why emphasis he must work with the book but anyways you will see the book and you'll hear some more about it as we seek to engage with this discipleship uh tool and material and this something that we are anticipating that will be a blessing to all the churches on our district as we use it for the glory of god would you stand with me everyone as we prepare to go from this place before we go there is a soup there's soup provided for everybody and there is lunch that is provided as well at a minimal cost or a subsidized cost we the district or the the pastors on the district we've decided uh that we're subsidizing the meals that you're getting and so you are paying a measly amount for it so the cost of the food that you're going to pay for is 400 and and are we talking about sensible meal and you get a soup with that and we believe that that would be a blessing so nobody must leave here and go home hungry please to ensure you go outside purchase a ticket and ensure that you purchase a meal before you go as well as receive a cup of soup um and we will be blessed together amen let us just bow our hearts together lord you have been our dwelling place in all ages and in time past we thank you for who you are and thank you lord for this time oh god almighty of refreshing and renewal that lord today we began we ask you even now lord that as we go from this place of worship that you o god will go with us lord we pray that you oh god almighty will walk with us through this god almighty lengthening season we pray almighty god that real encounters will take place across lord this district it is the desire of our hearts lord to meet you to see you to hear you until lord god almighty experience you so god come we pray in your power and in your glory and let your name o god be glorified in and through us we thank you lord god almighty for the word we thank you lord god almighty for the worship we thank you lord for our workers we thank you lord god for your people let your name be glorified even now in jesus name and now may grace mercy and peace from god the father
