so uh you need some wheels and you just received your stimulus check fourteen hundred dollars yes but you may think that that's not enough to get yourself a set of wheels but you'd be totally wrong because in this video i'm going to show you exactly what are some of the best cars that you should buy with your 1400 stimulus check and these things aren't going to just fall apart right after you drive them off the lot they actually are going to be reliable and kind of cool okay they may be really cool and if you're new here i'm brad danger this is ideal please subscribe and turn on that notification bell and buckle up and let's go so starting off our list is arguably one of the most reliable cars of all time and it wears the lexus badge not only is the ls400 extremely reliable it's one of the smoothest and most comfortable cars on the road today and that's saying a lot considering it's nearing its 30th birthday so it's kind of considered a classic kind of like me but don't let that fool you one bit see the lexus ls 400 development team consisted of 1400 engineers and over 2 000 technicians and they spent years perfecting every single inch of the ls400 believe it or not during the development of the lexus they blew through 1 billion do i need to repeat myself that's billion with a b and to this day you can still see the benefits of the extensive development and the rockstar of the ls400 is that beautiful engine yes the 1uz fe v8 while yeah it's not the most powerful thing you've ever driven or even the most fuel efficient it's just smooth and reliable kind of like your best friend and you know what this means well this luxo barge is gonna last you a million miles or more just ask our friend matt farah yeah he had one that hit seven digits in 20 years it's traveled nearly 1 million miles and so why are these things so cheap i don't really know but one thing that i do know is that people have done a lot with these things from tuning them into drift missiles to stance boy vip builds even off-road builds for lexus ls400s they've even safari some ls400s and taking them off-road that looks like a lot of fun and right now you can find them all day long for under 2 000 bucks but with a bit of bargaining you'll be able to walk away with one of these in exchange for your stimulus check but you've been warned because it does have a gas guzzling v8 so it doesn't get the greatest gas mileage so if you're looking for miles per gallon and smiles per gallon this next offering may be your golden ticket it's the honda civic you can spell it forwards and backwards and it spells the same thing and if you're enjoying this video so far hit that like button let the youtube algorithm and us know that you're enjoying it because sure honda civic yeah it might be kind of boring but did you know that they also can be kind of cool the civic is one of the most versatile cars in the world so you slap down your stimulus check and you get yourself a two three four or five door and you really can't go wrong with any of them and unlike the ls400 the civic is offered in a manual transmission baby which if you're trying to save the manuals snag our best selling ideal t and when you pair that thing with vtec you got yourself a recipe for success [Music] plus this thing is an og the honda civic has been around for generations and let me tell you honda has perfected its recipe it's like grandma's chocolate chip cookies or snickerdoodles they've produced over 20 million civics since the first one rolled off the lot in 1972 and honestly i would just throw on a fart can in some underglow and roll out with dom toretto's crew and steal some vcrs yeah seriously uh that movie's kind of old now and i would not recommend stealing anything but this civic may steal your heart and that's partly thanks to the fact that the civic is gonna beat out pretty much any modern car at the pump yeah because you're getting over 40 miles per gallon on the highway and 36 in the city so not only will you be able to wave to all your friends as you pass the pumps as they're filling up but it's also gonna probably outlive your friend's car at the pump because it is so common to see these things kicking past 200 250 or even 300 000 miles and if you want to steal go pick one up like this one with no mechanical issues and less than 200 000 miles on it for only 1200 bucks so why wouldn't you spend your stimulus check on a civic well let's say that you uh want a little bit more power but you don't want to sacrifice reliability well then i guess you gotta check out the mitsubishi eclipse and yes civics were cool back in the early 2000s but mitsubishi won up the civics with the eclipse and they are still loved by all thanks to our friend paul walker aka brian o'connor who owned an amazing collection of cars and you can check out his secret stash of cars worth 2.3 million dollars up here that's a lot of stimulus checks like i can't do the math right now but at least a thousand anyway the mitsubishi eclipse comes in either a gas sipping four-banger or a more performance-oriented v6 and that v6 has some pep in its step not to mention there is a huge aftermarket community for the eclipse sure most of these parts will take you way over your budget of your stimulus check but you could throw on a turbo and then you're hanging with some real heavy hitters because 400 horsepower to the wheels is a common number on these potent v6s but if you love working on your cars get yourself a first gen gst or gs x eclipse because they have the famous 4g 63t motor which is one of the best four cylinders of all time and if you're interested in learning about what other engines make that list well go ahead and check that out up here and if you want an eclipse with that potent v6 well guess what good news you can get one for less than 1500 bucks sure it's probably gonna have an auto but with less than 140 000 miles it's not about to leave you stranded so no matter which way you slice and dice it the mitsubishi eclipse may be one of the best ways for you to spend your stimulus check but if your breakfast lunch and dinner consists of sauerkraut and sausages well then the volkswagen golf might be more your speed while your simulus check won't get you into a gti or at least one with a clean title that doesn't mean that you have to look at boring versions because the golf is one of the most popular cars in the world and for very good reason too [Applause] it's a reliable fuel-efficient car that's super practical and perhaps more importantly they are surprisingly fun to drive even though they are front wheel drive while the styling of the golf may be understated and a little bit dull what is kind of spicy is the driving experience and because it has proper german engineering these things are built like tanks but just like tanks they tend to be a bit more pricey when it comes to repairs and even though your budget won't let you step up into a gti many of the other motors offered in these golfs are just as tunable if not more so for less than a thousand bucks yeah less than four figures you can buy your way into a manual golf with just over a hundred thousand miles so why not go out and get yourself a golf i mean it might just be a hole in one okay okay jokes aside you know the feeling when the crown vic roars up behind you only to turn its red and blues on yeah not a good feeling what if i told you that you could be rolling around in one of your very own cop cars well x cop cars for less than your stimulus check pretty cool right yeah i agree just imagine the pranks that you could pull on your friends sure you could go out and get a standard crown vic but what would be the fun in that because the one that you really want is the p71 police interceptor package yes a vic with the p71 is one of the best cars really any budget and let me explain they have the power plant from a mustang but it has beefed up and bigger cams and better internals plus they have suspension upgrades specifically designed for police work most of the cars that you get for your stimulus check are gonna have higher mileage but don't let that fool you because many crown vics leave the police force and become taxi cabs and remember how i said it was powered by a mustang well i forgot to mention that it's rear-wheel drive so it makes it pretty much an automatic burnout machine or a drift monster and they're becoming a super popular battle car platform ready to tackle pretty much any terrain you can throw at it check out this p71 package crown vic for 1500 bucks what's not to love the only downside i see to that crown vic is the mileage which uh is gonna be poor like 13 miles to the gallon poor so if you want to have some domestic fun but you still want some power then you gotta check out the pontiac grand prix now i'm not going out and telling you that you should go get a base model oh no we're talking about the gt or the gtp models and both are offered with that bulletproof gm 3.8 liter v6 one is just a bit more potent and when i say a bit more i mean a lot because the gt comes with a fairly impressive 200 horsepower but the gtp comes with an extra 60 solid horsepower thanks to an eaton root style blower yeah that's right the gtp is super charged yeah baby baby not only that but the 3.8 liter v6 is stout and ready for uh more boost throw on a pulley and a tune and you'll have one hell of a sleeper but the grand prix makes this list not because of its power potential but because the engine just won't quit and believe it or not for less than a thousand bucks you can pick up the non-supercharged gt model but with some negotiating i bet you could step it up into a supercharged gtp for roughly the price of your stimulus check because if you look hard enough you can definitely find them for under 2 grand which is the absolute perfect sleeper for 1400 bucks perfect sleeper for money that was just practically given to you to go buy a sleeper now many of these models on the road today are lasting 150 200 250 000 miles or more that are for sale and another car that's known for lasting forever is a subaru and the one that made this list is the forester i just love the subaru forester i mean from its boxy styling to its off-road prowess plus its surprising practicality the forester is good at a lot of things and at its core it is just undeniably subaru sharing that boxer rumble with many other subarus [Music] drive it on back roads or climb it up a mountain the forester is not going to let you down and i'll let you in on just this little secret that come here i'm only going gonna tell you the forester can fit a bunch of parts from the wrx or even the sti on it and that makes it this beautiful little pocket rocket just watch this thing keep up with a hellcat [Music] and with so many parts being so similar to other models these cars are pretty much like legos many people are able to modify these things to their own tastes by installing lift kits or bags whether they're raised or lowered they just look amazing and performs surprisingly well too paired with a five-speed manual these cars are a ton of fun in just about any condition so throw your stimulus check towards one of these and you get a well sorted high mileage example that's gonna last you many more smiles per mile plus the mpgs on these things is in the mid-20s which isn't bad but some of you i know want more mpgs and and that's why you got to look at the honda accord because these cars will return nearly 30 miles per gallon combined not only that but you know honda's are reliable i mean heck your honda lawnmower still runs and it's been through hell and back so the accord like your lawnmower is never gonna die or leave you stranded and yes i agree it's probably not the most exciting car on this list it's going to give you a reliable way to get from point a to point b to point z and for 99 of the people that's what a car's job is plus the accord has a spacious interior and a sizeable trunk so you can haul your friends and all their stuff around town but just because the accord has all the fixings of a car that a normie would drive that doesn't mean gear heads don't whip them around as well the accord actually has a huge aftermarket community and you can do pretty much any mod you want to it from tasteful to tasteless like simple lips and a cold air intake to full wide body why did you do that goodness or not so goodness plus some people even run twin turbo setups on these things and because they're super reliable and great at the pump this might be the ideal car to buy with your 1400 stimulus check i mean just look at this white v6 accord coupe which you could pick up for even less so if i were to plot my stimulus check down on one of these cars i'd have to go with the ls400 or the crown vic p71 mainly because it has a mustang motor and well i mean i really want to build a battle car and i think that that would be the perfect platform which one would you pick let us know down below and if you enjoyed the vid please like it and if you're new i'm brad danger this is ideal subscribe turn on that notification bell and keep living the ideal lifestyle you
