Day in a life of a Fedex Express Delivery Driver Episode 4

[Applause] I don't know where it is [Applause] your service you too bro later [Applause] [Music] oh just getting the day started I'm gonna need this okay first stop of the day a little Boker not too bad I feel mostly all this stuff right here right there this one oh this looks heavy now three and I think that's it just make sure oh close this a little bit hopefully it doesn't fall like last time okay let's roll pretty gloomy today I like this weather what all right there we go I gotta put a dolly in here to put her here now the thing with this apartment is you gotta get here early make sure I didn't forget anything trick with this apartment is making it my second stop swing has lockers but around like 10 o'clock it's like 9 30 right now I get jam-packed with UPS Amazon DHL and the locker always get full really fast it's a really big complex you don't want to have the lockers get filled up and you have to go to the actual unit one of my worst Apartments probably on my route I don't get this one every day maybe like once a week when I get pushed if that sometimes every other week but it's not too bad here are the lockers pretty empty so far usually be a bunch of boxes right here the first one there are some more lockers on that side over there in case these are full you go check those and I think there's some all somewhere else somewhere more down there take a picture take another picture you know okay another one another picture I can't deliver this package oh where's the map over here see how big this place is I don't know if you guys could see it but it's like this really big complex I need to go eight building which I'm trying to see how do I get there so I couldn't leave this package because this one needs an actual signature from the person on the label so I gotta go get it I would love to leave it there but I can't forge anything don't Forge anything guys that's illegal I think that's illegal I don't know don't quote me on that just don't forage best thing you could do with this type of job is be honest am I in the right building and I gotta go to the fourth floor we gotta take the stairs they just started it I'm really getting a workout at the third floor one more fourth floor you're looking for a uni oh it's actually this one FedEx thank you sir you too now I gotta climb down these stairs there are elevators this all these buildings but you need a key fob for that I don't have a key fob oh on to the next one [Music] FedEx delivery looks like nobody's here I hear somebody Hello I'm sorry about that have a good one thank you oh she was home I was just about to leave I was about to put a door tag and call it a day foreign yes sir I'm like two minutes from home or if I give you authorization to read it I'll be home in two minutes in an adult signature like an in-person one I could wait for like two minutes okay okay cool yeah he said he was around the corner so I guess I'll wait for got some time to spare not really too heavy I hello hey oh all the packages are for the third floor some apartments you need a key fob to use the elevators go to different floors luckily for this one oh these are actually on the same floor so the first one right here put these down real quick uh one [Music] FedEx usually most of the times I'll have a lot more today I only had like 23 stops but usually I have a lot more and you have to go to different floors the only thing I sucked about this apartment is one there's no lockers they used to be but they took them out for whatever reason I don't know why but they should have kept them guess as I was saying there used to be lockers here but for whatever reason they took them out FedEx UPS dho Amazon now we all have to go to the actual unit but the only thing that I don't I'm not really a fan of this apartment is the ends they're not connected so what I mean is it starts like a 301 like for example on the third floor it'll go from like 301. the last one will be like 360 something and you would think that'll be connected where you go like oh you go around in a circle no you have to go all the way around I have to go to unit 354 so I got to keep going because they're not connected you have to go all the way around all the way to the back all the way to the last one that's the only thing I don't like about this apartment there used to be lockers here it made things a lot more easier now we got to go to the actual unit you guys want to hear a funny story people have asked me like what's the biggest tip I ever got in terms of when I'm delivering the biggest tip I've gotten thirty dollars was it 30 bucks I think it was 30 bucks that's my biggest tip I ever got now we're not supposed to take tips or any bribes but you know if somebody's giving me 20 bucks or something or 30 bucks it's kind of harder than I take an extra hour to a pay you know okay yeah it looks like ground was here too [Applause] [Music] I'm gonna leave my dolly right here pretty God it'll get stolen and these yeah have a good one thank you [Music] there we go so yeah guys as I was mentioning earlier the biggest tip I received was about 30 bucks that last apartment you guys just saw where I was had my biggest tip because walking down the hallway one day and I found a hundred dollars one day it was just on the floor so I thought that was pretty cool I remember calling my co-worker I said yo I just found 100 bucks he was like what uh 250 and 101. okay let me go deliver this I'll be right back I'm gonna make it though second is this sweet 250 yes make sure you're there for here yep and then this one too yeah right yeah have a good one guys and you guys tried uh Dave's Hot Chicken it's pretty good there [Music] one two thank you thank you cool thank you have a good one thank you can I
