is sorry for interrupting do that let's bow our heads and have a word of prayer a dear heavenly father we want to honor you because you are the only one who can lift up your right hand to heaven and declare i live forever you are the first and the last the beginning and the end the ancient of days the alpha and the omega the one who was and is and is to come we worship you the giver of life the one who has loved us and has given us jesus who came and took flesh and dwelt among us he who knew no sin was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of god in him and now he bore our griefs he carried our sorrows the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we were healed and ultimately he has been made unto us righteousness salvation sanctification and redemption lord we bless you and now he's at the right hand of god as our heavenly high priest whoever lives to make into sessions for us to save us unto the uttermost we who have come to god by him we give you glory we worship you our advocate in heaven our soon-coming king we bless you and lord this moment we ask that the holy spirit himself would move amongst us stare up in us tonight such faith to receive that which you have planned give us your word give us understanding and make our understanding fruitful we ask it in jesus name and everybody said amen please be seated you can all see that the father of the house pastor david himself is very happy tonight and let's see what god will do tonight we will go from the blessings of understanding to prophecy let's see how far we'll go tonight let's open our bibles to isaiah chapter 56 and we're looking at verses 9 and 12. we'll just take one sentence there will not teach what the substance everything is no isaiah 56 verses 9 to 12. one of the blessings one of the giftings one of the abilities of a prophet we see in this chapter this passage verse 9 says all you beasts of the field come to devour all you beasts in the forest this was a call an announcement by a leader in the realm of the spirit this was going on in the realm of the spirit and isaiah as a prophet had this ability to intercept the communication that was going on in the realm of the spirit the powers of darkness had looked at the church and they had seen certain things made some observations and they had come to some conclusion and as a result of their conclusion they decided on a cause of action and so this announcement goes forth how do we know that this was happening in the kingdom of darkness the scripture would tell us in the book of peter be sober be vigilant for your adversary the devil walks to and fro like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour the language is consistent so all the beasts of the field announcement had gone out why was this announcement going out verse 10 his watchmen are blind they're all ignorant they're all dumb dogs they cannot back sleeping lying down loving to slumber and as if there was an argument who told you how do you know in verse 11 he says yes they're greedy dogs which never have enough and they are shepherds now this is the sentence we're coming to who cannot understand tragic it's not who may not understand or who do not understand or who might not understand no he says they cannot understand they all look to their own way everyone for his own gain from his own territory and then in verse 12 we see the extreme rascality come one says i will bring wine and we'll fill ourselves with intoxicating drink tomorrow will be as today and much more abundant that's the language the theology of these rascals what's the problem why is this going on because the shepherds cannot understand that's the tragedy that's why all this is happening so listen to me our first piece of information our first piece of revelation tonight is this lack of understanding is very costly very costly it costs god it costs nations it costs institutions it costs communities it costs families and it costs people lack of understanding is very costly lack of understanding notice the kingdom of darkness sends out its troops to go and destroy young men young women institutions why his watchmen the kingdom of darkness knows that god has watchmen people who ought to be watchmen but because the the leaders don't understand cannot understand then they say go on and do it and by the way prophets also are able to hear into heaven and then they ought to hear of course what's going on here on earth they have ability to hear in three dimensions that's what it should be now let me illustrate very quickly for us one example of the cost of lack of understanding if you go to the book of jonah chapter one jonah please give us jonah chapter one verse okay let's take it from verse one now the word of the lord came to jonah the son of amitai saying verse two arise command arise a command go to nineveh that great city and cry out against it for their wickedness has come up before me verse 3 but jonah i rose to flee to tashish from the presence of the lord that's one of the most difficult sentences in the old testament how can a prophet think or believe or even try and that he can run away from the presence of god can you run away from the presence of god if you're going to heaven he's here go down to hell he's there go to any mountain is here and then the man because he had spare change in his pocket goes and buys a ticket you know sometimes god makes things difficult so you don't have the money to run it out think about that but jonah arrows to flee to tarshish from the presence of the lord the man didn't understand he went down to joplin found his ship going to tashi so he paid the fair and went down into it to go with them to touches from the presence of the lord verse 4 but again the lord did what sent out a great wind on the sea and there was a mighty tempest on the sea so that the sheep was about to be broken up the sheep the people in it the owner the captain the crew the goods all of the things inside that ship they didn't know who jonah was didn't know what his problem was but they all were now imperial because of an ignorant prophet who could not understand that you cannot run away from the presence of god was fine then the mariners were afraid look at fear and every man cried out to his god panic and through the cargo that was in this ship into the sea economic loss to lighten the load but jonah had gone down into the lowest part of the ship had laid down and was what fastestly this man didn't understand look at this a prophet you see the calling of god carries with it responsibility for people who do not know look at this man entering their ship falling asleep attempting to escape from god putting the whole ship in jeopardy all the goods in jeopardy the people now were in a panic the six so the captain came to him and said to him first question what do you mean sleeper arah is calling your god perhaps your god will consider us so that we may not party verse seven and they said to one another come let us cast lots that we may know for whose cause this trouble has come upon us so they cast lots and the what the lord did what fell on jonah verse eight then they said to him please tell us for what causes this trouble upon us question number two what is your occupation question number three and where do you come from question number four what is your country question number five and of what people are you question number six six rapid fire questions to a prophet who refused to understand which one would he answer first these were not objective questions verse 9 so he said to them i'm a hebrew that's irrelevant and i fear the lord really you do the god of heaven who made the sea and the dry land this man was talking absolute nonsense how was that going to help the captain the marinas the sheep the you know cargo nothing go to vasten then the men were exceedingly afraid you see the what you said didn't help them and said to him why have you done this for the men knew that he had fled from the presence of the lord because he had told them unbelievers and had more understanding than himself let's take verse 11 and then we'll carry on then they said to him what shall we do to you that the sea may become for us question number eight for the sea was growing more tempest as the conversation was going on then verse 12 and he said to them pick me up and throw me into the sea then the sea will come come for you for i know that this great tempest is because of me now he's understanding what's beginning to come back of course they picked him up and tossed him into the sea let's leave the story there you see this man who lacked understanding was costing god time costing him souls costing him an entire city an entire region and cussing people their lives the kind of horror stories they would tell their families when they got home because now they would escape alive all of that was because a man did not understand think about it a you know lack of understanding in the lives of people most of you are very young so not much is down to your account but who knows look at the cost to god all the way down to nineveh in fact if you go to the end of the book chapter four god counted that there were 120 000 souls who lived in nineveh god knew the whole of the cent the population and all of that because god has no problems with censors he knows everything so 120 000 souls were in limbo because of this man who did not understand and god said and much livestock which means economic goods now take the principles from here and as we go further the study tonight begin to compute and see how costly lack of understanding can be let's go to second kings chapter two second kings chapter two we're looking at verse one and it came to pass when the lord was about to take up elijah into heaven by whirlwind that elijah went with elijah from gilgal listen if you study the old testament gilgal represents the place where god wiped away the reproach of 40 years of disobedience by the nation of israel in the wilderness it was the place of a new altar it was the place of a fresh beginning for the nation of israel so this place was spiritually significant for this journey and elijah was the student elijah was the master who had decided that god should kill him and he was tired he said just kill me i'm okay i'm done and then the journey to go away began here he said let's go to gilgal verse 2 then elijah said to elijah stay here please for the lord has sent me to better but elisha said as the lord lives and as your soul leaves i will not leave you so they went to better elisha sensed something look you young people you're about to enter but you don't know you're about to enter another stage in your lives where many of you if you behave yourselves and get it right you could you could you could begin to walk into realms of spiritual authority that will affect the globe that will affect the world because the time is now when god is going to be using the people from the black race and nigeria has the largest concentration of that race to do things to manifest his glory and his power in a way that will confuse people in the world and then bring them to the place where they understand that god can use the weak things of this world to confound the mighty the powerful and he can use the foolish things of this world to confuse the wise so you need to be sensitive it goes beyond understanding it goes beyond perception it gets to the level of knowing not just knowledge knowing that comes as a result of a very deep work with god not just in church this didn't happen in church it happened on the road on a journey yes if i have the time i'll tell you some more testimonies but let's take this thread and follow it so they went down to better bethel represents the place where jacob when he was running away from his brother spent the night and when he saw what was going on in his dream angels ascending and descending on that ladder the gate to heaven he called the name of the place better the house of god he did prophetic action but the hand he told you the story of the land redeeming the land last night and he came to the matter of better that was the place where jacob did what anointed the land do you remember he raised an altar there that was the place where god renewed the promise that he had made to abraham to jacob and he promised him he said i will go with you i'll take you to where you're going and i will bring you back then jacob responded if you bring me back i'll give you a tenth of everything that i make well that was a deal that was a covenant it was the place of a covenant a place of renewal of promise but elijah wasn't going to stop there i want you to develop holy ambition don't be satisfied with where you are tonight verse 3 now the sons of the prophets who were at bethel came out elijah and said to him do you know that the lord will take away your master from over you today and he says yes i know keep silent keep quiet so now that you people know what are you prepared to do about it these are people who gossip with prophecy if you like but they're not prepared to pay the price to see it come to pass they know all there is to know but and they were distracting elijah beware of destructive elements people verse 4 then elijah said elisha stay here please for the lord has sent me on to jericho elisha said no i'm not prepared to stop here now but he said as the lord lives as soul leaves i will not leave you so they came to jericho jericho was the place where for the first time in the history of israel they obeyed the lord completely they didn't have to physically fight but god gave them the victory went under joshua they went around seven times on the seventh day they went around i mean they went around one time seven days seven day they went around seven times and they shouted the wall collapsed the walls of jericho collapsed victory elisha said no go to the next verse verse five now the sons of the prophets who were angelico came to elijah and said to him second distraction do you know that the lord will take away your master from over you today okay so he answered yes i know keep silent there are times when you don't want to listen to the people that people say they know some spiritual things but they're not prepared to put obedience do you understand they're not put prepare to put obedience so that the thing comes to pass you see how far elisha had been coming from gilgal to better from bethel to jericho number six then elijah said to him stay here please for the lord has sent me on to the jordan what he said as the lord leaves and as your soul leaves i will not leave you so the two of them went on the seven and fifty men of the sons of the prophet went and stood facing them at the distance while the two of them stood by the jordan there will be spectators may you not be among them there will be distractors but you'll never be among them stood by the jordan looking at them verse 8. now elijah took his man to roll it up and struck the water and it was divided this way and that so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground the first time in history that the river jordan parted for two men to cross verse nine and so it was when they had crossed over that elijah said elisha ask what may i do for you before i'm taken away from you this is where you pray from a level of understanding because of your testimony before god it is not granted to everybody don't go claiming double portion of anything oh you see man of god lay hands on me so i can receive the double no no you don't do that it's not in consonance with the scriptures it cannot be given to you see where the man had been coming from look at the meanings of the places where he has passed look at the number of distractors that he had overcome and then suddenly now with some more conditions look at what's going to happen he answered please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me oh he was giving a cat blanche open check ask what i will do for you the man asked for two portions look at what number 10 says so he said you have asked what a happy nevertheless if you see me when i'm taken from you it shall be so for you but if not it shall not be so listen your prayers with understanding and you're standing with god listen to my english will bring you to a place where you can ask hard things from god and be given a new set of conditions which if you fulfill the prayer will be answered verse 11 then it happened everybody said then it happened as they continued on and talked i don't know what they talked about it's important to know what they talked about but let's leave it for now the talk that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire and separated the two of them and elijah went up by a well went into heaven the story didn't stop there for elijah he shouted to tell heaven the kingdom of darkness whoever were onlookers i saw this with my eyes so as they walked and talked like i would tell people one air one eye of elijah was looking up the other one was looking at elijah do you understand what i'm saying one ear was listening to heaven in case anything began to happen the other ear was listening to elijah just in case and he saw verse 12 and elijah saw it condition number one fulfilled he cried out number two my father my father the chariot of israel and his husband so he saw him no more and he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces oh sorrow my master is gone verse 13. he also took up the mantle of elijah that had fallen from him and went back and stood by the bank of the jordan let me tell you something before we leave this story here elijah did not ask for the mantle the power was not in the mantle he asked for the double portion of the spirit did you hear what i said the mantle is incidental i'll tell you why the mantra fell of course he saw it and cut it and then verse 13 verse 14. then he took the mantle of elijah had fallen from him and struck the water and said where is the lord god of elijah you can hear authority in the voice of this man now when he had struck the water it was divided this way and that and for the first time in the history of this world river jordan opened for one man and he crossed over that was what the sons of the prophets now saw let's leave them alone because they're a distraction you see look understanding at this level comes as a result of the price you have paid example elijah it opens to you new vistas in the realm of the spirit new levels of authority with god new ability to perform miracles because elijah performed 16 recorded miracles but elijah performed 32 recorded miracles in the bible exactly double portion now let me leave you with one miracle when elisha died towards the end of his life he died they had buried him and then somebody else died and the people the mourners were carrying the man to bury in the same cemetery soldiers from a strange nation were coming to attack them and in panic they threw the man the cops incidentally into the grave of elijah there was still enough anointing in his bones when the dead body touched the bones of elijah he revived and started running after them i don't know what frightened them all whether it is the soldier that were invading or the dead man that was pursuing them that's pray that's what understanding can bring you to even your dead bones can perform miracles and when you go to the book of hebrews you see that jesus is greater than all of this and so we who are going to be the end product if you like the end time products of the the ministry of the lord jesus christ only heaven has the secrets of the kinds of miracles that will begin to happen because listen god is not going to let the church go away from this earth with a whimper now when the church leaves the world will know that people have left jesus will be glorified so be prepared and listen all of this will come with the level of understanding that you get since yesterday we've been talking about the level of understanding well there is a downside to this elisha got two man two portions of the spirit but he had a servant called gehizai you know the story of gahiza if you know the story with your hand let me see okay put down your hands the irony of geheza was this gehizai chose to follow the money the gold the remnants he could have got four portions of this spirit if he had behaved himself all that he got was leprous you know the story now let's go to luke chapter one make a note verses 26 to 38 but let's just look at verse 38 26 to 38 but let's look at 38. conversation between the angel and mary the virgin look there was this conversation blessed are you among women you have found favor with god and so on and after listening to all this she was wondering so what the angel said the holy spirit will overshadow you you will have a child you'll have a son how can these things be doing i know not a man after the explanation mary prayed one of the simplest prayers in the scriptures but with such a deep level a profound level of understanding you know what she said look at this analyze it he said behold the maidservant of the lord offering herself first consecration dedication all in one sentence let it be unto me according to your word full stop no superfluity nothing else this is worthy of our study this is different from gideon let it be unto me behold the handmaid of the lord in other words lord all i am everything i belong to you no argument no more questions be it unto me according to your word and the angel departed from her that's it and you know the rest of the history the rest of the story became the mother of jesus and so on look at that dedication your level of dedication opens the door to you for such a level of understanding that your prayers make history your prayers work for god they serve the purposes of god it's wonderful now let's look at psalm 132 this one blows me away psalm 132. let's look at this all the leaders the pastors the prophets in this room tonight and all the rest of you let's look at this critically this is important i want you to take something from this all you pastors all of you men all of you who are serious with god lord remember david and his afflictions and all these afflictions remember david how many of you have such a relationship with god that you can talk to god and say remember me you know what this means it means lord we have been coming a long way it means me and you have a covenant relationship i know that everything i am you made me lord remember me how he swore to the lord now look at this he swore and vowed he swore and vowed everybody say he's one vowed please say it again say it at that time david swore and vowed with understanding arising from verse one to the mighty one of jacob verse three look at his words quoted for record for history surely i will not go into the chamber of my house or go up to the comfort of my bed i will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids verse 5. until i find a place for the lord a dwelling place for the mighty one of jacob this man thought about god to this point where he swore and vowed prayer with understanding don't go rushing to pray this kind of prayer tomorrow no take the principles the day will come and then of course in between it says behold we heard of it in africa and found it in the field in the woods and so on notice this man's prayer now let's go quickly to verses six to ten no go on to ten please go on to verse ten go to eleven look at god's response you read what david swore and vowed look at god's response the lord has sworn in truth to david he will not turn from it in inverted commas open in quotes this is what god said response i will set up on your throne the fruit of your body go on verse 12. if your sons will keep my covenant and my testimony which i shall teach them their sons also shall sit upon your throne for how long forevermore that's god's response god sensed heard saw the seriousness the level of understanding in the vow and promise of david and he gave this response so when you read about the rest of the story of david in various other parts of the scriptures this is one of the reasons behind them but you see how magnanimous god is god looked at david he said all right i hear your heart i have heard your words but anyway your hands are filled with blood you will not build that temple your son will and make sure it's your son who does it and what did david do he didn't argue you know what if he did david went on and fought more wars at least not less than six and that was when he captured bronze brass iron all the things that were needed to leave for solomon to build the temple look today the temple is one of the most important and powerful you know edifices in the bible and in terms of the jewish people how did it come about one man vowed promised and god responded provided today you know what god did god even gave david the descriptions the dimensions the drawing of this temple detail by hand david said so god gave him all the dimensions in detail and he built it i mean sorry his son built it he transferred all of that to the song what am i saying your generation you young people listen to me please don't just play around when it comes to working with god yes you are young maybe okay it's lack of experience but i'm pleading with you tonight there is serious uncharted territory still left there's an inexhaustible you know supply of wonders and signs and miracles and amazements and wonders in heaven waiting to be brought down and manifested on the earth and it is your portion to do so but you've got to walk there you've got to get into it to yesterday and tonight please we have been discussing various levels various ways of getting understanding so you can get to the place the platform where you can pray those prayers and god begins to respond same and somebody please don't ever go away from this conference and suffer from the lack of understanding don't be flighty don't be flaky in your walk with god in your life be serious when we were your age my wife is a witness when we had things like this we will pray tonight individually and make sure that we make sure that god understands that we understand what he said and we will do what whatever it takes to get there pray yourself into these things open the scriptures read them like just purging says get to the point where instead of hemoglobin inside your veins and arteries what will be flowing there will be bible in any time your your heart pumped boom it will be pumping by bleeding all over your body yes by bleeding let it let it be like that so that you are another person why did you become a believer to be a mediocre believer for what to be teetering on the edge of destruction and all that why would you be among the sons of jericho ever learning and never coming to the understanding of anything they saw elijah they saw what would they tell god where were you on that day oh i saw elijah and elijah passing so what how we tease elijah your master is going away today what sort of story is that and those of you who speak ebola language forgive me they will ask you okay see where jay is that how you went is that all your story is that all there was to it now let's go to the second dimension look at zechariah chapter 1 verses 18 to 21. let's finish with that in about five minutes zechariah chapter one then i raised my eyes and looked and there were four horns this was a prophet praying he was shown a vision he looked up verse 19 and i said to the angel who talked with me what are these look one of the principles that you must take away from this is like this please when you have a dream when you have a vision your first responsibility is to ask if you're sure it is from the lord lord what is the meaning of this god expects you to ask questions you must learn to ask god questions it's not impolite it's not impudence no you're just being human the prophets did it before you what are these so he answered me these are the horns that have scattered judah judah judah was the tribe that produced the king remember the prophecy of genesis 49 the scepter shall not depart from judah they produce the leaders so in the kingdom of darkness there's a department a horn some power that opposes the leadership the leaders the judah of a nation the judah of the church the judah of the company if you like the leading class israel the entire nation the economy the health facilities everything in the nation and jerusalem the capital where the laws are made and from which governance radiates that's how organized the kingdom of darkness is you need to understand that and for you to pray with understanding you've got to know this not just to ask questions but this is the way it's organized verse 20 then the lord should be for who for craftsmen before you become a craftsman in this part of the world you will understand this you have to be an apprentice first how many of you know what is the apprentice yeah whether it's an apprentice mechanic an apprentice businessman apprentice whatever you start from apprentice and then they show you this is how to do this this is how to use this this is how to do this and after some years you become a journeyman you become a master and i said what are these coming to do craftsmen in this sense are people who are thoroughly properly trained grounded in the act of prayer and intercession intercession doesn't fall on your head no you've got to learn it you've got to be taught there are some men in this room by the grace of god we taught them into session for 12 years 12 longer than it takes to get a phd the horns what are this coming to do so he said these are the horns that scattered judah the leadership so that no one could lift up his head no matter how hard you tried as a leader no matter what your manifesto said they hit you so you don't fulfill your mandate you don't fulfill your calling you don't fulfill your expectation but the craftsmen are coming to do what to terrify them to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of judah to scatter it listen tonight i'm going to make a call before i sit down some of you need to enroll and say to the holy spirit and say whatever else you do i want you to train me to become a craftsman in spiritual warfare in prayer so that eventually god will have people to terrify the kingdom of darkness i used to know a young man when he preaches he was trained he will tell satan he says satan because of what you've done we will punish you and he wasn't joking these were men who spent their lives dealing with the kingdom of darkness and to cast them out so god look shows you look at the problems look at the people causing the problems this is what they do and then there are people who have been trained to come and terrify and king james says frey free means it's like using this uh carpentry equipment and you keep fraying the wood until you shave everything off it's hard it's tough it's painful but it's got to be done now let's close it takes understanding to get here listen in january of this year january 24 to 31st a copy and it was uh pastor david willi who sent this copy to me the photo of the back page of an american magazine newsweek international how many of you have ever read or seen a copy of newsweek magazine before let me see your hands oh i'm sorry oh do you know what time magazine is time magazine how many of you know time magazine all right time magazine is in the same class as newsweek time magazine is older you know newsweek is a cousin of younger sister to time magazine on the cover of this year's january 24th to 31st time i mean a newsweek magazine the bold cover on the the writing on the cover says calls nigeria the future superpower of africa yes the world's next superpower i looked at myself i pinched myself i ran through my experience and i've been reading this magazine since 1965. that's when i started buying music and reading i could tell you the names of the editors and the special people you know people like walter lipman and so on and so forth it's like that so i was intrigued we don't have look at the way we are by the way now traveling from asaba to indonesia or traveling from hindu to paul you need panadol after you finished in fact you need special massage for people like us you know bones knees ligaments and all that you're talking about being a superpower the world's next superpower and i read little bits and pieces that pastor david sent to me extracts of the message interview and all that and the the people who analyze all kinds of things in this world have looked at nigeria and looked at certain things and they've come to the conclusion that nigeria is likely to be the next superpower of this world we don't have missiles we don't have what is it we don't have my military might nothing we don't have any satellites in space we probably don't even have three or four working hospitals i don't know so where is the superpower thing coming from well i didn't take you to the pinch of salt no i began to check through the prophecies that god has spoken concerning nigeria i remember one that pastor deborah said is that as people now want to go to america to see how the place is it says so will it come to pass that nigeria will be so great that every black person will want to come and see nigeria and there was a prophecy some time ago where god said a few things and ended by saying 10 people from different parts of the world will hold the sleeve of a nigerian and say let's go to your country and see how you have you know arrived at this level of righteousness now calm down calm down come down humiliation if you can't be corrected the issues in your life you're struggling with issues you know then god has given you a spiritual father that cannot correct you then the next thing is that you have set yourself up for complete illumination praise the lord then for us in minutes what i've said to myself is when pastor picked me many years ago i was a small boy small boy on campus who did not know his left from his right you know i've been born again now for 25 years i've still told myself i'm still a small boy i'll die a small boy i can be corrected i can be sent to an errand i can be sent anywhere i will die a small boy i'm not a big boy for jesus and i will never be and i trust god to help each and every one of us you know to remain small in our eyes that our father you know can furthermore we have fathers of our flesh that's earthly fathers which corrected us and we give them reverence shall we not much rather be in subjection to the father of spirits and leave then the next verse for the verily for a few days chested us after their own pleasure but our heavenly father does it for our own prophet that we might be partakers of his holiness so obviously this whole thing about training and correction you you use two words he said it's a blessing if you have father that can correct you and instruct you because that's where character is formed and it's for a seasonal fell into another guy that took her to accra all these years the father doesn't know where the daughter was it was the course of our work in accra she comes to dominion women trafficking and slavery that's what they turn her to the way they turn that girl's life so i said when she's gonna say i'm the daughter of so-so i said why you you need to connect back with your parents say no but i saw her this year she has made that connection back but i said have you ever gone home to go and see them he said no just phone this man what he went through when he finished telling me his words he's not multiply thee exceedingly so god told abraham to walk before him and be perfect praise the lord and then god will keep his covenant between him and abraham as we become people of covenant in this coming year there are mighty things god is going to do in the name of jesus all the prophecies that god has spoken will come to pass in the mighty name of jesus you see when we become people of covenant it makes us and god to be one in a covenant relationship there is nothing that belongs to the other person that doesn't belong to me it makes the two people one it is in a covenant relationship that can make the other party to be willing to lay his life for the other person in genesis 22 when god asked abraham to give his son the reason why abraham could do that was because he's in a covenant relationship with god because he knows that by that covenant he doesn't have anything that god will not get a covenant makes the two parties to be one a covenant makes the two parties to share things in it together a governor makes the two party not to hold anything that other person will not be able to have that's why when it comes to this coming year we will not own our life anymore in the name of jesus can somebody shall allow this amen who will be willing to let our life in these last days the bible said that for us to survive we should be willing to lay our life down with what is coming that's what covenant does he makes the other person to be willing the bible said we overcame him not even fearing our life unto death in a covenant relationship you can die for the other person praise the lord and if the ultimate price requires that we should lay our life down we shall do it in the name of jesus and when god finds a people who are willing to have a strong relationship with him in that dimension there is nothing he cannot do his power shall be released in an unusual way god does not do casual relationships god works with people on the basis of covenant god must be sure that you are committed that his burden is is our burden his passion is our passion his dream is our dream that anything that we can do to advance his course that we are willing to do it and when england sent 152 missionaries to discover the coast of niger to bring the gospel to us in it here in niger before they to get and find the location of the river 56 have died on the way because of malaria and and all that he said and they kept going until they found here and today we have the gospel for us to take the gospel to the nations as it has come to us we must be peasants of covenant we must be people of obedience we must be people of sacrifice that is how is going to be done even at the risk of our life in the mighty name of jesus and every two told the son solomon in first corinthians chapter 22 david told he said and now behold in my trouble first chronicles secret first chronicles 22 14 now behold in my trouble i have prepared for the house of the lord a hundred thousand talents of gold and a thousand thousand talents of silver and of brass and iron without weight for it is an abundance timber also as stone have i prepared and thou may has add their unto the quantity of gold he prepared a loan for that house is a hundred thousand talents of gold that's how that house is today the most magnificent house that ever been built and i did a calculation of how much gold this was in 2018 a talent of gold weighs 1.4 million is 1.4 million dollars which is that a talent of gold started three kilogram of gold is 1.4 million today it is around 1.7 but as it is here is 1.4 so a hundred thousand talents of gold that david got by subduing the nations gives you a 140 billion watt of gold and if you convert it to naira it is 65 trillion naira that was the water of gold he gathered for the building of the house of god and not talking about silver that was unquantifiable and bronze and wood one man did you see when the gospel got to europe the protest reproduction reformation men began to build businesses to support the gospel and that was how god poured out an economic grace upon europe which today we call the industrial revolution and when the gospel also moved to the u.s and the pentecostal formation began in a street in california called asusa street god also poured out grace for economic dominion today california the gdp of california is above is above almost six trillion dollars six trillion that is the sixth largest economy in the whole world it's not a coincidence the gdp of nigeria is around 555 billion dollars the gdp of the whole africa is around 2.6 trillion so one state in u.s california california alone has 1 000 factories that produce wine 1 000 and god began to give economic power to the u.s now it has come to africa i believe that there is something god is going to do to africa and men are going to rise up with creative mind creative ability innovations inspiration that will have discoveries that has not been found before in the mighty name of jesus but we must become persons of sacrifice persons of covenant praise the lord we must be people that will be willing to lay our life down whatever it will cost whatever it will take this gospel will get to the end of the world in the mighty name of jesus and that's why god gave in psalm 89 20 god talked about david he said i have found david my servant with my holy oil have i anointed him with whom my hand shall be established my arm also shall strengthen him the enemy shall not exact upon him nor the son of wickedness afflict him i will beat down his force before his eyes and plague them that hit him you see this what god is saying doesn't just come to everybody you have to qualify to for it and it's because of the kind of relationship that david had with god the bible said in the next verse he said but my faithfulness and my message shall be with him in my name shall his horn be exalted i will set his hand also in the sea and his right hand in the reverse he shall cry to me thou art my father my god and the rock of my salvation and i will make him my first born higher than the kings of the earth my mercy will likely for him forever and my covenant shall stand fast with him his seed also will i make to endure forever and his throne as the days of of heaven if his children forsake my laws and walk not in my judgment if they break my statutes and keep not my commandments then will i visit the transgressions will road and the iniquity with stripes nevertheless my loving-kindness will i not utterly take from him nor suffer my faithfulness to fail my covenant will i not break no alter the things that is gone out of my lips once i have spoken by my holiness that i will not lie unto david his seed shall endure forever and he's throne as the sun before me it shall be established forever as the moon and as a faithful witness in heaven seller and that is how he got this covenant with god god is asking for men and women of
