Custom Opencore Boot Theme | Hackintosh Guide

okay guys me again so thank you first of all let me thank you for this 1K subscribers so I want to give a shout out to all the subscribers everyone that liked my videos Everyone that share my videos Everyone that participate in this channel I want to give you a big thumbs up guys thank you for your support guys so we already know 1K subscribers so if you are not subscribed and you are seeing this video kindly subscribe to this channel and we'll continue from there so in today's tutorial I'm gonna make it as short as possible so I'm gonna talk about how you can change your open code theme so I can get a nicely looking theme instead of the default open coding so I'll link this article in the video description so with that out of the way I like this blue one and as you can see I've already downloaded it it's here the blue one so let me just ex extract it and then let's go back to the GitHub repository so as you can see this is the how to set up this theme so we need to Mount our EFI so just Mount our EFI partition then open it so let me just open it with open call config and so here we you need to set these things up so on the config.p list you need to change your pick attribute to 144 so let's do that let's go to misc [Music] and then as here as you can see I've already changed mine so we need to change it to 144 from anything that is there you need to just change it to 144. and then let's save it again let's come here then you can see compatible EFI 0.7.0 and newer so that's good so what you need to do we need to copy this the one that we have downloaded you need to copy it to EFI OC resources image so let's do this let's do that let me open my EFI OC resources image and says black OS X so let's do that you can see here just open it as you can see I have already added the dark one so but let's just copy this one and then come here let's paste it there so with that one out of the way let's come here again and then we change the pickup variant to this one so again let's open our EFI config.plist and then go to miscellaneous and then here on the Pica wire variant let me just choose the black OS X bsx in iMac blue okay then let's save it so let's go to the last recommended so you need to go to the NV Ram [Music] and then you need to change the default color or the background color so let's do that you need to add this one so if you don't know this one this one is eight zeros so let me show you that so let's go to NV Ram and the first as you can see I say this one see it ends with 14 so this one is the first one so on the default background color just add eight zeros and the type should be data and that and that's it guys so just save it then close it so when we are done so what you need to do we need to restart this machine and then you can see if it has worked so that's what I'm gonna do right now stop this one and so let's see if our teamwork and boom there we go as you can see our new open code theme is working so that's it for this video guys please don't forget to like share and subscribe for more videos peace
