How to Update OpenCore Bootloader | Hackintosh | Step By Step Guide

[Music] foreign [Music] hey guys welcome back to the channel and today in this video I'm going to show how to update open court of the latest version so before starting if you haven't subscribed to our Channel then please go and subscribe to our Channel and stay connected for the latest updates to update open court of the latest version you'll need hackintool to check if there's any new version of open core available and this OC auxiliary tool for updating the open core now open hackintool and then go to the boot section [Music] here you can see the current open core version is 0.9.3 and the latest available version is 0.9.5 now close the hacking tool and open ocat [Music] after ocat is Open click on help in the menu bar and then click on update check click on OK when this dialog appears and then again click on help and then click on download upgrade packages just fine after the package is downloaded click on the close and start upgrade option and ocad will reopen three now click on edit and then click on Mount ESP and then click on Mount and open config.plist enter password when prompted now click on sync OC and from the choose open core version select latest version and then click on get the latest version of open core after the database has updated click on OK and then click on start sync after the open core is successfully synced click on ok now again click on sync OC now in the text section click on select all and then click on check for updates [Music] [Music] after checking is done click on update texts after the texts are updated close the sync OC and now click on Save after saving click on OC validate and make sure that there are no errors now close all then open the EFI partition then go to the OC folder here by any luck if you have any old config.plist make sure to delete it and then empty the trash now open the config.plist and validate the config I said bye after validating close all and eject the EFI partition and restart your system [Music] during restart make sure to reset the NV Ram at least once [Music] baby [Music] [Music] now after restart open the hacking tool and verify whether the open core has been successfully updated or not and as you can see the open core has been successfully updated to the latest version available so that was it hope it was useful consider like for the video subscribe to the channel and if you have any question just comment down below or create a thread on our Forum make sure to check out the forum for in-depth guides thanks for watching and have a great day ahead
