neat.....i always pictured a drunk guy flying a plane that had been abducted by aliens.....
My uncle was a Crop Duster, I always enjoyed seeing him fly. My grandmother would take us to see him flying every now and then. Sadly he was killed when he tried to land his plane in a empty field after he had his left wing torn off by a stand pipe that was not marked on his map. He was a daredevil and adrenaline junkie and always lived life to the fullest. The last time I saw him was summer 2001, He'd asked if he could have the hat I had gotten in south padre Island and I wouldn't let him have it(I was 8 or 9 at the time) and he died that October.. I left that hat in the casket the day of the funeral. To this day I wish I would've let him have that hat. (sorry for the downer of a story, Been drinking a bit)
I'll take "jobs that will be eliminated by the usage of drones" for $500
This is a lot more exciting than the type of crop dusting I do.
As someone who has no idea about this industry, I'm surprised at how much more complicated equipment is there than I imagined. No reason it shouldn't be there, just something I'd never really thought about. Great post!
The money handle - thats amazing.
I wanted to see to see until it was done...
Does anyone know if they do a final pass going perpendicular along the edges of the field?
I know a couple guys that dust. They always look much older than they really are. Some them chemicals...
