today I'm going to show you guys how to create this liquid composition in After Effects hey guys what's up this is Nikhil from the emotions calm and welcome it is brand new After Effects tutorial in this video I'm going to show you guys how to create this liquid composition effect change after effects which is pretty simple pretty easy without using any third party plugins so let's jump into After Effects and get started alright so let's go ahead and create a new composition I'm going to rename this to main 1920x1080 let's make this 30 frames five seconds look good and I'm ahead okay alright then I'm going to go ahead and create for ellipse so I'm just going to double click on it like so I'm going to set the stroke to let's say around 40 and let's just read in this too so cool and it's go for one then and we'll go into their lips one and let's part one properties and unlink this and change the size to let's say 250 by 250 so we have something like this maybe let's make it to 20 along then I'm going to go ahead and add a crimp up like so go to trim pot and then you can start animating the start and the end offset so unless this is 200 create a keyframe on the start and the end properties will 1 second and bring them down to 0 and this to 0 then come and select the dark keyframes and just displace them or move move them forward a bit like somewhere on there now we have something like this really simple I can select the key pin and hit f9 DVDs there go to grow up editor and create a really nice moving something like this CSE looks really nice yep that is looking pretty cool now let's go ahead and animate the stroke as well so I'm going to go to let's take 20 frames and create a keyframe by heading on the stopwatch on the stroke - width which is set to 40 right now and I'm going to go to very beginning of the composition and bring it down to zero you can just copy the key paint by hitting ctrl C on the keyboard go to somewhere on there and it's ctrl V to paste it up then we'll see Jovie yep so now we have something like this C select them and v's them yeah that is looking free okay then I'm going to go ahead and add a repeater just like this just like this you can see we have something like that then I'm going to go into revita one bring up the copy to let's say around 15 should be good then go to transform revita one bring the position down to zero and then we can play around with this scale so you just increase the scale like so you can see basically scaling them up and you can also rotate them up like so now you can see we have something like this really simple to create and really easy even use this to stop in your motion graphics you know to create some really complex looking animation so all now I'm going to go to bring down the rotation to let's say 40 that is looking pretty nice and play we bring down the scale to around let's see 135 all right can I change the color to something that I like maybe something like a blue maybe some like that see looks really nice now let's start now we need to create this animation kind of a liquidy expect me to add that liquidy respect to it and which is actually pretty simple and really easy you can just go into effects and reset or you can hit ctrl spacebar to bring up the FX control square and this type in turbulence this place and then just needed and still we just need to decrease the size to 70 now we have something like that you see now you can go ahead and play around with the different settings if you want to but I'm just going to leave it as default then let's go the circle one go to stroke and change the line cap from buttcap to rounded cap so it looks more like kind of a liquid as I can see alright so now to give a little bit more depth to it what I'm going to do is I'm gonna hit ctrl D to duplicate it make it a bit darker color something like that hit ctrl D to duplicate one more time and this is going to be our mat so honest changes to Mack iranian mr. matt and change the track mat to and change the track mark on the circle tool to automatic and then if i could displace my mat you can see we give this really nice depth to this thing you can see make it look really really nice you can also go ahead and play around with the turbulence resolution to give it a little bit more randomness give me this one you see we look really nice and who will displays this a bit more something like there and maybe this let's just leave it right over there that looks really nice to me see and that's basically the base of our animation now all need to do is just go on and duplicate this layer so I'm gonna select all the three layers and hit ctrl D to duplicate it bring them up and this is going to be something like a red color so I'm going to make them red and give this one a red color maybe a dark of thing kind of thing just copy the color code of this control CD copy it go to surface for paste it and make it a bit darker just gonna select all the three layers which are to rotate it and maybe it was rotated by 40 degrees now we have something like that you can see looks really really cool you can also play around with the scale as well say position till is down then it's somewhere on let's make it a pipe it looks pretty nice yeah that is looking really nice one let's go ahead and create one more copy it ctrl Z to duplicate it bring them up and this is going to be our yellow colors on majestic than yellow just make a really nice curvy yellow color abdur to copy the color code hit ctrl C to copy it paste it negative bit darker and there we have it we can just rotate it by hiding our to bring down the rotation properties and set this 3d and we can also actually play play around with a turbulence P so you can just set the evolution to maybe let's say 50 um let's say 150 and this to 150 as well this to 150 as well or maybe hunger give a little bit of randomness as you can see it's really nice you can also play around with the stroke so if I just select this few circles I hit you so you can see there's four key pins and we just go right away home change the stroke width to let's say maybe if I just had use you to see the stroke let me have it and maybe I just said this to around 20 sets this to 20 years ago and there we go maybe this one is going to get your sizes is 220 there you go we get a really nice and different kind of load see then we can just basically go ahead and select all the layers they right-click pre-comp it call this anything that you want I'm just going to leave it as a one hit control D duplicated take R to bring down the rotation properties and I'm going to rotate them at 180 degrees now you have some really nice-looking liquid animation and you know you can go ahead and keep adding more circles with more details you know you do some really crazy stuff for this thing you can also add maybe rockin edges so let's see it just add roughness to this thing followers please make it a little more organic maybe set the scale to 90 so like that yep that is looking pretty good alginate control-c control-v to paste it make it look really really nice yes he looks pretty cool but I think I liked it without this so didn't you know it's your choice you can go with dropping edges or just leave it it's on you and in the center then you can add a logo animation for now let's I'm just going to add a circle so this zero make it white and let's say this is our logo change the path to let's say 250 by 250 and then we can add a logo animations we just need to animate and inanimate the size of the logo you can just set s to bring down the scale properties for the very beginning said this is 0 so this way and leave somewhere on there with 10 strange one second 10 paintings of this taquito it at night release them now we have something like that really cool really simple really easy to create so yes I hope that's a wrap for today I hope this video was helpful to you guys and if it was don't forget to subscribe comment and like and I'll see you in my next video till then take care and thank you so much for watching guys don't forget the stay role stay
