[Applause] good hey guys and how's it going so last we left off with we had set the plough up on this tractor and I was running around the cylinder that is the lifts owner goes from here to here the fitting hit right there and I broke it and it made a mess got the fitting out and that's where we left off so we're gonna continue on from there where we left off again was taking easy out getting me broken fitting off I took a look online at a bunch of different plow setups and the orientation of the cylinders were actually correct always a lot of points the people were saying we'll flip the cylinders around and all I have new fittings I actually have two new fittings the problem was I think the fitting was pointing straight up and it hit and a lot of them to show it that it's on an annual so we're gonna go try that if that doesn't work we're going to go work with two fittings and we'll see we can kind of kick it around if that doesn't work we're gonna go modify the tractor so that it has a little just a little bit more room that orientation looks a little better huh thank that should solve our problem pretty good we're not gonna have it's going that high need a bucket loader let's go put some pins in it put the hydraulic lines on fire it up and lift the blade so it does and hopefully all the fluid stays in routing might be screwed up to find out what's good crisis averted so the rear differential transmission and the hydraulics is all one unit what it has is a sight glass in the back ends between these points generally you want you know halfway up the sight glass somebody must have replaced it at some point and put a tube in or broke and they they couldn't get all this Hardware back in there so they let it float on the outside you look at you can see it's right at the it's right there three at the bottom no matter where you move this it's gonna maintain that level so this orientation doesn't matter as long as it is in between here I've been GM's part she's got a tie wrap that to the side I think unless I can come up with you know some different hardware to put it back in but we're a little low but not enough to where it's dangerous I got to get some fluid for it to stuff though it's not that we changed on the floor it's right there right man so remind me later fill that so the next thing we have an issue with is the charge light he's on now the wiring I know in the back of the ignition switch is kind of crappy how shot yeah that like to be going out it's not probably have an issue with the rectifier regulator and if so I'll just end up having to get one but before giving it to that I want to clean up the mess of wiring that is back here he's on the very first video as I was grabbing the wires and mooning around the lights were coming on and off on the dash so I do know there is definitely an issue in there so what we get taking care of some of them this mess and we'll clean it up and see what we get for response afterwards if we get that ignition switch out of there now hold it I'm twisting started reading which lets get one to three inches rain it's been all over and still see what the back of that looks like that should be pretty self-explanatory how it was back on that's one rusty switch huh I need ya they get rid of the battery there's nothing to short out gingerly slide up what's going that nasty ignition switch money time one of my stash I'm not sure they end up ordering a new switch the 13 bucks or nothing about screwing with that we also have to replace this socket altogether because that's actually a terminal there I know it's hard to believe and you can see the back of the wiring now melted it is and how the jacket is melted in the socket so that only draws a lot of current that's probably coming off a charging system and maybe whatever issue is hopefully we'll cut them off we're gonna put new terminals on we're gonna get rid of this block altogether and there on the bench I'll show you in a minute but in the meantime while waiting for that I'm going to take the plow blade off just the yellow part of the blade so we just have that bolt and that bolt to get off and maybe start hitting it with a sander and throw some paint on it with that cure up while waiting bolts are out we shouldn't say the bolts around their unbolted slider radar I have a feeling putting it back on maybe a little bit more difficult so shoes off of it slight adjustment and away it goes here we got a new switch J deflowered with a bunch of grease we're just gonna go cut everything off what's up there so these two somebody added I don't know I'm gonna be able to get both of those in one terminal I'm gonna try it the terminals let's stop behind me I pack in the grease just to give the ends a fighting chance against corrosion it's generally what kills everything around my climate kind of get it all I danced back and forth between like greases and silicones and the non curing silicone might deal it you know tag-team I think I see wires hanging out of there that's a good sign asked me why I don't solder it good question they don't have the terminals or solder removing solder and you guys do it the switch there it is alright so that one went on the one look that was independent by itself now we have you guys have a shifter in front of you don't you you can't see a thing how are we gonna do this so you and I can see it's the same time you get cozy I guess that one is too burned up one it's cut it tonight there you get the idea I'm gonna have to move you over and I'll bring you back when I'm done in the after little GUI that should work and each one has its own jacket around to keep it isolated that's the one thing that this thing did have was kept all of them kind of locked together you know strengthen numbers well that's pretty cooked I wonder you know they were doing much of anything huh a lot of arcing it's about it and it sees big melt on the side of the plug already go shove that back in its ole the hardware on it throw a battery pack on fire it up see if the light went out all right see we get catches on fire good that was the problem with the charging system I'm happy for that because well it was out when we first got the tracfone working on it right what you want to do next while I have the battery tray out I'm just gonna go and look over a bunch of connections I'm gonna pop a few of them apart see if I see any corrosion or anything clean them up grease um that kind of stuff reservoir looks pretty good with those fuses if I have any problems in the future I may just cut them out and kind of do the same with the grease and oil but for now they're all ready to go I'm just gonna leave them on there battery trays backing on one side and now I just have to do my best finagling finagling to get this with fuel gauge in it and the trans and we got to get it under the pan I gotta I got on both the pan and slide that back but I think I'm just gonna do that but are you watching over my shoulder you make me a little nervous sometimes just sayin so I went ahead a rear seat pan on there the gas tank had some slop you probably had some kind of felt pads or something under it or above it I don't have any felt pads do you have roofing rubber I'm gonna go to slice of that up leave some of that stuff around to help it I'll sit there and chatter when it's running you know you'll be able to do is zip on this see if it works it's a lot easier sit on a flat bench yeah yeah they get returned you can see yeah let's try that again well smoother do they make four of them we'll put the top one for the bottom each side perfectly calibrated to be exact specifications as factory this is blue strong stuff we'll just missed a little in yet see that I'd one of those in there I thought it was gonna put it in upside down dinner before forward as you can somebody needs a better knife number two don't have a better night make sure you stick your tip out let's go feels better already don't know if we're gonna new it on top yet we'll put the teen on it and we'll look you show you the ten bolts here and here I don't see to play now seems pretty flat with that hardware with this hardware and then the Sheep bolts kind of sit here let's I'll put I'll put one right across here maybe two over that height differences right there layers aren't it's almost safe flush going across now but before I wrestle that on if you're gonna go for a pop break you're welcome to one but all I got left is blue you know welcome to him but you're gonna have a blue tongue when you're not just so you know it's a question before I close it up some people are saying that it is missing the fan on the hydro pump hydro pump beam that there were your end transaxle it generally Montana the cheaper machines there'll be a thin on the input shaft quite right about here and it blows air across the fins of the pomp and this has the air flow across it ninety percent of the time on all the track they're all the blades will be busted off they either just get brittle or debris gets up around them and they get cut and done this I don't believe has one but what it does use for cooling is in the front so hydrostatic transit has lines that I want to circle the pattern fluids always flowing and it has essentially a little radiators right here and there's another one on the other side on the side there this is the fan for the engine air is getting sucked in through here so air is getting actually drawn through here the bottom it's all finned if you see that in there yeah yeah I can see any more there so the two sides in the bottom air kind of comes up and close through and it's the cold air so that is the actual cooling for the oil that's on the transmission and then the theme continues on air blows across the engine across the fins and dumps out at the bottom out of here it's more shrouding this so it has to go on essentially just kind of steers it down towards the bottom or out towards the front of the hood the radiator is pretty much doing the opposite of what you think on a car when it they are flowing through it's actually being drawn through this way now on this tractor some there are the other way around the motorist hits the other direction and it sucks in through the front but on this one not so much there's a babble huh [Music] [Music] he's got a little I'm gonna throw one more piece on that actually it's a pumpkin all the way I might put a little bit more shimmy in there yeah well one more you can kind of move it around a little bit but it doesn't have the rattle space that it used to have that's fine I want to find out at too much and causing the issue I figure muscle work our way forward one of the things that still needs to be done is the foot treads that go here I peeled off what I could peel off of them and you see that rust anything that was underneath husband go and put some new material on and I had I knew I had just sitting at home and it has probably been hanging on a nail for about 15 years well I got one of them and as I was looking at it I think the glue might have given up a little while ago I thought that we can't spray glue the back of it and cut them out and try to make them but there's not enough for both of them anyway so I looked at a stash a little bit more I found a roll that is four inch wide and this stuff is probably cheese I could either do stripes of it we can try it is I think anybody will tell if it's this one's probably fine yeah let's do the top with these and we'll try to use the fat roll for the bottom section so how does that sound well it's free if you leave the back of it we're gonna go cut out paper dolls and seal we make out let's see we need to go yeah a little fine-tuning on that one it might be in order I think I've lost my warning let's go cut a little large with some working room call it and that will pull this our homies are known see how bad this stuff is Oh upside-down doesn't matter you think mail it needs to come this way a little bit but only we're gonna do anything about that getting too picky I do the same on the other side apart you to nip the corners I'll do that in me alone I'll hold a bit bit little edges both of the fronts are done the backside on the other hand I think I want to make a better pattern for they gotta cut it on four sides should be I think the same pattern just have to flip it over for the other side just to remember when I cut it out that I don't make two of the same the amount of time or to see it would call it think they're rust the rust bubbles are you getting this I think if we get that done that'll be close enough okay they met cards right I screw it up I should have enough to make one more let's not try and screw it up ask me like this with let's go with that mmm to having you working with paper and not a construction paper she just hit her with spray paint we need one of those always cut on the inside of the line it's not every time you trace it's me get larger and larger what do you mean that's doing a hole in the center and it's gonna get smaller and smaller [Applause] you like it that's why they call all contacts me one more to go I need to make it look like like that I want that pattern there I need that feed like that it's percent chance I got that right that looks better even comes with the optional factory drain hole so moisture doesn't stay there I'm pretty good so I got the battery to install and I think we get to make a hole down to get how to hold down for it you're probably maybe cut a piece of angle and sheet metal tins around the engine yet yes we got I got to get tires for the front of it at some point I think that's it then we need to button up the sheet metal on the nose when she engines but you got to do the clutch and measure the clutch I'm going home for tonight we think it's around 10 o'clock and she were to pick this up tomorrow morning and hopefully get it knocked out and yes the plow parts are painted the coop blade not going crazy he's going to get beat up as soon as I go to use it but at least it's uniform and makes a nice slippery surface on the front for a little while until the rock started doing that and it's the next day I am well refreshed let's go and get the tins on around the exhaust which is going to be these two pieces in that part right there and work our way to getting the electric clutch set up and adjust it on there probably goes I see that one goes right there now we surmise if the other one goes I might take that choke you up let me get that chalky by the way let's figure out how this one Wiggles its way home fatigue that has to come out and that's ground I'm gonna go take these two back out maybe they play them over the top and those who are bolted on and then this one right there a couple screws in that let's see my gimmick watch on he in there I think that key needs a little love with the wire wheel I seem to get that clutch on there clutch has two sections the outer hub that spins free then the intersection that's Eid and it has a magnet on it the key parts what we need to go in the back and then it's going to bolt to the four bolts around that so the direction is going to be the white bolt pattern blows up there we go rotate it actually you're going to have to start it so spin the motor do a little cleaning out some stuff okay clean my hole [Music] yeah if you lift it up root keep that make sure talk to a piece of information it's the power wire or bolts it's like that flange back down don't let me go there - all right so let's bolt it down to four on the outside and the one in the center it's essentially two pieces and one section of it is key to the engine and the other one floats this outer pulley floats is the reason why you can't turn it it's meant so that you can't turn it you know explain it in a second so wire coming off of it if you applied 12 volts to it it energizes the Kwik see this moving back and forth that's energizing a coil and what that does is it draws it towards the part of the engine that's spinning all the time and that makes it so engage but power to it it engages it and allows this to be tied to the motor when this is in the relaxed position with no power on it it rests against it spring-loaded against the brake shoe and that breaks you stops the pulley from turning and again for that is in case emergency you want to go shut a mower deck off or snow blower off you want to stop as quick as possible you don't wash just wanted to let it freewheel so it's kind of like a car clutch you know principal part puts the pressure on it's not electrically instead of a mechanical arm pushing on it so that's how that operates now the next thing that needs to be done is there's a a gap an air gap between the back disc that's spinning on the engine and the one that's on here that gets drawn to it there's three locations as a slot here this one below and this one on the other side you put a feeler gauge in and you can adjust that dimension so that you have a nice even pull on it and that the gap is a correct amount of way if you get too far away the magnet may actually have times sometimes you'll find where PTO works and doesn't work it's it's worn so far that the magnet can't pull it off the springs in up against it it's just too far but distance kind like when you you put a magnet something together and all of a sudden you get close enough in it it draws it together well if you're way out here it's just too far away to draw it in I'm gonna go look up what that is we're gonna get a feeling age we're gonna go and it's adjusted by these three nuts with the springs behind them that just dictates the position of it I just eighteenth oh that's what we're looking for sorry they're writing rent for these so we're gonna just go poke back at it in your home and it will keep tight check another spot that was good and this one so eating down it's a little on the tight side but you get the idea so I'm gonna go back that off of here and kind of one affects the others a little once you start to the point where you fine-tune it's not so bad a little bit more and it now fell right out so I'm gonna go around dance around between the three of those and get that gap even at 18 all the way around a little hard to set you up with a Kim not block your goose no part of me all that one good the bottom one little tricky on the access just go back it off it's a feeler gauge boson and like I said sometimes it'll affect the other one specially if it's really you know peteyboo office go back around again their finale super loose and that one see police I think though got one that was out of whack screws up the other one so you just kind of go back and forth kind like adjusting carburetor on the one carburetor address one thing you have to go back so we're gonna go fire it a couple times and let it settle again so you go back with CDs again that one's a hair loose that one's fine it's a hair type but I think if we adjust this one a little tighter the bottom one may come in let's go check the yeah so just loose a second ago now it's good good dragging on so I like that one you were a couple of clicks here loose I'm probably gonna run it to you check out that one's good today we're gonna go a little tighter on this one done it's the battery pack up and the jumper wire the power wire rather just hooked up we should get yeah and you can see that the PTO load is he--oh light coming on so all that is functional again with the snow blow with a plow not needed but if I go to put snow blower on it during the winter time you will need that part of it I don't ever see again the mower deck back on it again but who knows it's really choke cable back on and set it up generally is usually said a witness marks where it was but I'm gonna go with all the way off which is all the way in and whatever I want to see that that throttle plate is straight up and down in that position that choke plate rather straight up and down we get that done we're just gonna double check pull it out make sure they get the full closed and snaps this tree up in there for the air cleaner let's get that back on close the choke just in case boo-boo and drop something down inside try hitting that been too long breather rather get another hose in a four corner coming up let's draw air you want to hear from me where the fan is get a little hooli a little hoodie needs a bath doesn't look much different [Applause] those three hold it down and there's two more screws one through there [Applause] yeah I believe that is the wrong element for it does not fit down like it should and sometimes they had take this cover off it was another lid that went on the top of it I have to do a little bit of homework but we get it to sit right it is squishing down on the element all the way around so air is filtered it's just that it's going to allow air coming in from around the sides instead of in the back that's all you have a little fire in hole idle [Music] now the air cleaner is on everything's put back together kind of fine-tune the car I look on the idol the Airbender go fire that closet couple times stop with the battery in it but is missing it hold down so I see we make a hole down piece angle some threaded rod good as new how'd you do it that's the headlights it's got a couple of LEDs in the front I mean we don't wash that lens a little the middle one just has no bulb in it but it does have three going across yes even the taillights work [Music] you thought I forgot about it didn't you that was bothering you a little strategic wealth couldn't fix one now I wanna go [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we go along and I think the mower deck seized up and that shut everything down and I wasn't quick enough shutting the clutch off okay and it just stopped though and it it's got an old power now and a half the books for it and instead the 20 M fuses in there okay so after the deck locked up you shut it off then you want to go restart it and just nothing was working okay he's a nice tractors you cutter what guys I think we've made it to the end other than getting a set of tires for it chain still have to go on and I need a seal in the one of the hydraulics in the front that couple our quick coupler has a slight leak at times but it seems like a function does everything it should and should be a functioning part of society in Traktor world once again so with that guys I'm gonna go sign off I thank you all for kind of going through this project with me it was a fun one to do it had a bunch of curves in it but we got it pretty much straightened out so maybe it back again and winter time for a little quick video with pushing some snow around see how it functions and possibly throw on the snow blower alright but until then I will see you guys on the next one later
