Confessions and Strength for Today

good morning good morning happy new year once again to everybody this is the day the lord has made we will rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it for the lord is good and he's worthy to be praised god is so good god is so worthy to be praised hey guys happy monday to everybody the first monday of the new year and uh i send blessings your way that this is going to be an amazing year for you a year of maturity a year of enlightenment and a year of supernatural relationship with your heavenly father and so i greet you today in the name of jesus and um you have to make up in your mind it's going to be a good day make up in your mind and you know their strength for today and um i've got several scriptures you know in this year i'm gonna i'm gonna try to do a little bit more imparting uh into your life confessions we will continue to do but impartation is so important as well uh because we got to constantly be renewing our mind to line up with the grace of god i pray you got a hold of that message yesterday just to really give our attention and begin to listen to that new way of living that jesus died for us to have and i mean he didn't do all he did for us to walk around the same and ignore what he did and so it's a great day today and i just want to send blessings out to you guys in st louis missouri we send blessings to you this uh this day uh we send blessings to world changers church international world changers church new york houston charlotte we send um uh blessings to those of you who who are in australia gold coast pastor kyle and tina we just we're just sending blessings to the world changes nation man i i love you guys you guys have been amazing and i continue to declare that as a church we know how to be a church away from the building amen the building doesn't define our identity as a church jesus does and i pray and encourage you to continue to disciple and walk in love and mature and grow in the things of god and it's just a blessing of the lord this morning uh i am blessed yes uh just just receive that when when when somebody's releasing a blessing over you then it's up to you to receive it you know amen hallelujah i'm blessed praise god we send blessings to those of you nancy in the philippines we send blessings to you uh this morning in maryland we send blessings and oh my goodness i just thank god that you're blessed in alabama you're blessed you're blessed and rex georgia um god is just just blessing us tomorrow we'll uh vote and and have everything over with here in georgia and and uh i tell you what god is good and god will be seen this year he will be seen through your life blessings to those of you in mississippi i tell you god's going to be seen through your life hello the blessings of god will be seen through your life hallelujah praise god we send blessings to canada today uh fort lauderdale we send blessings good morning and god bless you guys oh man god bless you guys hallelujah uh and so i thank god today that there is strength there is strength uh for today i'm not you know we can't be concerned about tomorrow we got to deal with today and that's what you need to do don't don't get your mind on so far out in the future just just just rejoice and be grateful for what what's happening today amen let's release our faith for today let's have joy for today let's have peace for today amen and uh and so i send blessings to you guys and you know we're we're gonna we're gonna testify about the goodness of god some there are gonna be people i ask you what is going on and you tell them god is showing himself strong god is showing himself big amen praise the lord and uh i just i'm so grateful and thankful for that uh well let's go ahead and um let's get psalms 91 equipped and then i want to make some confessions over the strength that you have for today and then i i want to make this statement and then we'll make commentary on it a little bit but listen to this every issue that a man faces will be an issue based in his thinking every issue that an individual faces will be an issue based in his thinking wow i want you to get a hold of that now because that's where the attack is gonna come from you know the devil's greatest weapon not to give him no credit but it is this area of suggestion and so every issue because we're talking about mentality that's the set of one's mind your mindset every issue that you face in your life is going to be an issue based in your thinking amen so if you can change the way you think then you can change the way you live amen so let's go ahead and and begin to work on just that and then i'll share some other things with you psalms 91 somebody says how long are we going to confess psalms 91 well it's working isn't it amen it's working in it look at your life since you've been confessing psalms 91 it's a part of your life you know god just simply said to me share with them what you do and that's what i do psalms 91 is like it's it's it's a staple it's it's i believe it i stand on it i feel like i'm equipped for any day because of the the abundance of promises that god has established in this psalms let's go ahead and make this confession of our faith right now in jesus name i declare that i will dwell in the shelter of the most high god i declare that i will find rest in the shadow of the almighty i declare that god is my refuge and my fortress i declare that you are my god and whom i trust and with great confidence in whom i will rely i declare that god will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease i declare that i am covered and protected by his outstretched arms i declare that god's faithful promises are my armor and my protection i declare that i will not be afraid of the terrors of the night nor of the arrows that fly in the day i declare that i will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness or any disaster that strikes at midday i declare that because god is my refuge and the almighty god of my home no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling i declare that god has ordered his angels to guard defend and protect me and my house i declare that god's armies of heaven will keep me from falling i will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path i declare that because of god's love for me i will call upon him he will set me above all my troubles and he will deliver me from all my fears and he will honor me with this presence and power i declare that he will reward me with long life and he will show me his salvation i declare that i am psalms 91 equipped for the year and for this day in jesus name amen now let's uh i want to show you this scripture and then make a confession over it in philippians philippians chapter 1 19 he says for i know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the spirit of jesus christ now say this out loud i have strength to make it through this day just for the day amen now pray this prayer with me uh lord i realize i don't have enough strength by myself to do what you have asked me to do today i'm asking you to donate a new supply of your spirit into my life right now i open my heart and i ask you to fill every nook and cranny of my life with the power of the holy spirit so i can get back on my feet again and fulfill what you have told me to do in jesus name confess this out loud with me i declare by faith that i am refilled and recharged with the spirit of god there is no lack of strength in me because jesus continuously provides a huge supply of the spirit in my life that empowers me to achieve everything i need to do there is no excuse for me to fail or to stop short of the goals god has given me for my life because in the spirit of god there is enough supernatural strength and power to energize me to finish my divine assignment i declare this by faith right now in the name of jesus amen amen now uh let's let's look at this scripture and and go back to this statement the that every issue that a man faces will be an issue based in his thinking in colossians chapter 3 2 in the amplified bible let me see he says this and set your minds and keep them set on what is above the higher things so he says the things of god are higher than the things of the world he says keep your mind set on the things that are are above the higher things and not on the things that are on the earth the things that are on the earth wow um let's be honest a lot of times we find that our thinking and our mind is set on the things of the earth and um you know mentality is the the set of one's mind and so if your mind set is on the things of this earth and not on the things that are higher then you know you basically know where you're going to eventually end up as far as manifestation is concerned now listen to this success will be based in right thinking your success will be based in right thinking and i'm talking about right thinking as thinking that's in line with the word of god thinking that's in line with the the spirit of god your success will be based in right thinking so likewise your failure is going to be based in wrong thinking your failure is going to be based in wrong thinking so let's put it together life will be determined by the way you think your life will be determined by the way you think you don't have to sit around and wait until the end of the year and let life happen to you you can happen to life amen don't let life happen to you you happen to it and life is gonna be determined by the way you think so listen man this is this is i mean what i'm saying is probably easier than you you acting it out but you know you need to go ahead and act this out because you can take authority over your life or you can sit back and let your life take authority over you you remember what he says in proverbs chapter 23 verse 7 he says as a man thinks as a man thinketh as a man thinks in his heart so is he so you're going to be in your heart based on how you think so what are you thinking about what what what your the way you think is going to come from all of the things that you expose yourself to on a day-to-day basis it's going to be it's going to come from you know who you hang around with the most what you're hanging around with the most the the what do you expect what are you planning on exposing yourself to today well you know if you don't adjust the exposure uh in your life then you know if you don't adjust that exposure in your life then you're going to continue to think that way now i don't mean to con this is not uh i'm not trying to condemn anybody i'm this is just how things work now if you if you feel condemned me you go to god and find out why that feeling came there but i mean you know you're gonna have to understand that this is how things work the way you think is going to determine a lot of things it determines your life it's going to determine how you feel it's going to determine the decisions you make it's going to determine the actions you take it's going to determine the habits that you create it's going to determine your character it's going to determine your destination please understand that so all of a sudden you have to make that adjustment because you have you're a free moral agent you can choose to whatever exposure you want to want to be around you can also choose to think however you want to think but don't get spiritually dumb about this i mean i'm going to make it very clear god's given you the authority to decide how you want to think you have to choose to think uh in line with the word uh and you have to choose to to think uh in line with something else but you know you have to choose that you know remember the scripture he says i lay i place before you life or death the blessings and the curse and then he says you choose i mean man i place before you everything's been placed before you but you still got to choose you know what you're going to think about you know you can get a bad phone call and it'd be full a bunch of crap a bunch of junk and you can choose to think about that every day or you can choose to say you know let me go get in the word and get that out of my mind don't let somebody or don't let something hang out and live in your mind rent free i heard taffy say that man don't let don't let somebody or something live in your mind rent free are you listening to me so please understand that men without an organized system of thought will always be at the mercy of men who have won let me say that again men without an organized system of thought will always be at the mercy of men who have one and i tell you what i choose to think in line with the word of god i choose to think in line with what he says you know uh i i like uh hero movies um i like uh uh you know superhero movies batman superman all that kind of stuff and uh i've come to realize that heroes are men who act in a moment of time on a need greater than themselves heroes are people who act in a moment of time on a on a need greater than self a need greater than self and so please understand something choices determine destiny and you're going to have to make choices about how what you choose to think about your choices in life will determine your destiny in life choices determine destinies and so yeah we're free moral agency quit you know you know sometimes people can you know get so spiritually deep you're missing the point and the point is after we get off this stream today you're going to have to decide what you're going to think about and you got to understand that that is so crucial in your life because the way you think is going to determine success or failure it's going to determine happiness or sadness it's going to determine it's going to determine everything it's kind of like your thinking is that place where the software just kind of runs everything in your life and that's just how things work and it's more than shouting and jerking and all that kind of stuff you better learn how this system works and and learn how to program your mind and set your mind on the things of the word of god and not on the things that's that's on the earth dude there's a lot of stuff going on even the next two or three days in our country and you can set your mind on that but that's gonna that's gonna kind of lay your course out listen to this all sin all the only things sin promises here's here's the there's the promise of sin all sin promises is to to serve and and please but you know it promises to serve you and please you that's what sin promises you the devil's like oh come on and just get addicted to something and operate in sins you know and sin will serve you in sin will please you but the only uh desire that it really has is to enslave you and dominate you uh it promises you that it will please you sin promises pleasure it promises that it'll serve you but in reality here's the real deal it desires to enslave and dominate you sin wants to enslave and dominate you and it it starts right up here it starts with what you choose to think about and if you think about those things that are going to lead you into a place of sin why you know it blinks brings pleasure to you and oh wow this is awesome but at the end of that at the end of that date you jus it just only desires to enslave you dominate you and say i got you you fool i got you and we just got to wake up to this man so wake up this is going to be a great year and i'm going to do taf and i everything within our uh power that god gives us to bring about more and more enlightenment i just feel like this is the year that we shine the light on everything and if we shine a light on it then you as a student of the word go and you check it out yourself but don't let your tradition cause the word of god to be of no effect in other words if you've always heard it this way and you you always believe this way and then as soon as the light comes on it you're like oh my goodness you know like yesterday in uh church i was i was sharing the fact that to die daily wasn't talking about dying to sin daily and i really actually took people to the scripture it was talking about dying daily he was talking about that persecution that man the persecution that came as a result of him teaching the resurrected christ and that persecution would come daily and he would have to go against that persecution that was coming against him daily and all our lives we've heard you know where you gotta ideally sin and just it's just shining the light on things because if you're if you if you heard something wrong if you exposed yourself to wrong teaching that's what's going to happen when you're thinking and wrong thinking is going to equal wrong living right thinking is going to equal right living and it's right up here it's right up here i remember and i'll close with this but i never knew even during that time when i was playing football before every game we would say this thing i don't let me see if i can remember it says if you think you're beaten you are uh if you think you're there not you won't if you like to win but don't think you can it's almost a sense you won't if you think you'll lose your laws for out in the world you'll find success begins with a fellow's will it's all in the state of mind if you think you're out class you are you got to think higher to rise you got to be sure of yourself before you can win a prize think big and your deeds will grow think small and you'll fall behind and think that you can and you will it's all in the state of mind life's battles don't always go to the stronger faster man but sooner or later the man who win is the fellow who thinks he can for as a man thinketh in his heart so is he and you know even after all those years that was so put on the inside of me that you know i hadn't said that in a minute but it obviously is still on the inside of me so let me close with this every issue that a man faces will be an issue based in his thinking so now you know how to go and tackle those issues now you know how to go and resolve those issues um and so
