general flow said someone would come for us we're glad he was right that's everyone we have to go the facility's breaking up explosives these are the same types of nano droids that we use to blow up the jedi temple what do you think the empire will do to us if they find out that we are helping a jedi i wanted to protect you guys protect our squad the war is over we are free men we can't live under the fear of the empire for the rest of our lives wolf what's up meta nerds this video will cover the complete life of cc3636 aka wolff we will follow him from birth up through his rise as commander through his earliest moments in the clone wars being torn by devastating losses and then later the confusion of a clone's place in the empire but to start his story let's head back to around 40 bby like all clones his existence was the result of darth plagueis plan to deliver the revenge of the sith a plan which was completed by darth sidious when he tasked dooku to find a worthy genetic template the genome of jango fett would be used to create every clone in the grand army of the republic but further genetic manipulation would be carried out to create different specializations a portion of these were designated to be clone commanders and they would be bred to have greater intelligence and autonomy than their standard trooper after their birth these genetic propensities were further reinforced by specialized training as leaders and exposed to more intense flash training sessions the first batch of commanders were the arcs like alpha 17 and they had the highest levels of independence a bit higher than desired but they were used to train the following batch these clone commanders would be paired with a jedi general and cc3636 would head the 104th battalion this battalion was made up of four companies each with 144 troops totaling 576 clones under cc3636 and their jedi general plo alpha 17 and anakin introduced the idea of nicknames in part for clones to help them develop more autonomy and 36 36 would come to be known as wolff and then of these 576 clones under his command he would grow closest to a specific squad which usually was a group of nine clones which would come to be known as the wolf pack their colors were a deep burgundy red and sported the symbol of a wolf on their shoulders not long after their formation the battle of geonosis would mark the opening of the clone wars and shortly after wolf was on kamino preparing the troops for battle when he heard a fight break breakout in the mess hall a clone named heater and the rest of his squad had already proven themselves to be deserters these four clones found a way to defy their entire upbringing and genetic design coming to a conclusion that later clones like slick and cut would wrestle with as well the idea that they were being forced to fight for the republic a fight that they did not choose warrior slaves heater was fine with being called a deserter but not a coward and this caused an exchange of blows that brought the commander in to break it up this squad had not actually deserted in a real battle but in the simulations so these clones were already having doubts before they even experienced a real exchange of blaster fire calmly wolf listens to heater and is able to pull out of him a sense of doubt over this desertion he's able to get the trooper to see that if he has doubts about the army and has doubts about his own desertion maybe he should consider seeing real combat wolf makes sure to not judge the clones like the rest of his brothers and he lets him choose between taking up this one mission or forever staying back on camino wondering for the rest of his life if that was the right choice wolff's leadership skills are able to get this man excited for a chance at redemption for both him and his squad he understands that in the simulations it's easy to be an armchair philosopher to abandon his brothers and reason in defense of the cis wolf knows that if heater is entrusted with a leadership position and saw how the separatists fought saw his brother's real lives on the line he would heroically embrace this destiny but heater's squadmates are more cynical the mission is to destroy the weapons depot that was supplying the force's overwhelming wrecks but the troopers point out that even if they fail the republic has won they will either take out the target or this deserter squad will be killed off in the process this conversation is cut short by a surface-to-air missile that sends their laat crashing into the streets behind enemy lines we see wolf's psychological tactics working heater arguing with his squad mates that his word to the commander does matter he did choose this mission and the only way through this was to fight together their brothers were their family their plan would involve setting off an explosion to fake a full frontal attack on the facility while the rest of the squad made their way into the reactor realm once the explosives are placed they feared that one of their mates had ultimately deserted and just then the tactical droid in charge sprung his ambush predicting this would be the only possible attack vector for such a small force and when heater threatens to blow them all up the droid reveals that his understanding of the clones tells him that no one would ever threaten the lives of his brothers a sentence punctuated by a blaster bolt fired by the clone that was thought to have abandoned them this was no simulation his brothers really were seconds away from death and with this the once deserter tells the t-series us clones stick together they blast their way out and were able to reduce the weapons depot to smoldering rubble getting back to the la-t to call for help they all rib each other about the change of heart and ultimately are able to admit that they are indeed all one family all brothers in war riding with the evac team is commander wolf who knows the perfect thing to say to keep these clones fighting praising their handiwork but also saying that they were free to leave the army if they wished calling their bluff and making these clones realize that this was their choice to fight for the republic this was followed up by the mission to cormendi an enormous cis fortress based out of a floating trade outpost it was deemed impenetrable but plo-kun entrusted the wolf pack and his commander's excellent infiltration and extraction skills while the jedi led the aerosol the wolves utilized jet packs to fly from the la-80 to the fortress exterior automated turrets would open fire but none of the clones were hit the next line of defenses were the d1 series droids these flying clankers that swarmed the wolf pack like bugs blasting from their wingtips but even these were no match for the wolves specialized jetpack training and excellent marksmanship allowed them to stay alive and wolf's quick thinking led them to place an explosive on a d1 and hurl it towards the command center blowing through the glass and forcing watt tambour to come scurrying out with his human captive refusing to give up he sets the entire station to blow and is flown off by a pair of d1 droids forcing wolfe to use his jetpack to fly to the captive one of his men point out that they can't get away from the exploding station quick enough and just in time plo comes racing in to rescue them wolfe apologizes to his general knowing that he failed to capture the station intact but plo assures him that as battles go this was certainly a victory what mattered most was that all of his brothers survived and that he saved the hostage shortly after this was the battle of his scene the generals obi-wan anakin and plo-kun were engaging dooku and ventress the darksiders trying to prevent the jedi from rescuing the haseen parliament a droid force had been sent to slaughter the natives and plo makes a desperate call to his commander to launch a rescue mission before it's too late but this was not the original plan and the mountainous terrain was breaking up the transmission all they could make out was something about the parliament and then coordinates they reasoned that plo must be asking them to move to these coordinates but cody points out that they can't be certain and if they move they would be taking the mission into their own hands and weakening rex's position rex encourages them to just go ahead but both agree that since the orders came from plo it should be wolf that makes the decision on how to respond thinking back to their previous mission he is certain that the general has full confidence in him and his decision they alter the original plan and push through the jungle to the coordinates to find the droids preparing an execution while cody urges them to be cautious wolfe had already seen a separatist leader set an entire fortress to blow just to cover his escape he knew the cis was more ruthless than the simulations had prepared them for he says they will rush in and that the wolf pack leads the hunt back with rex we see that wolfe really did reform heater as the once deserter is now in a leadership role under rex and is trying to guide another troubled brother and he even draws the heroism out of his brother when they were surrounded these droids were blasted away at the last second by wolf and cody's squads but eventually they too were completely encircled blaster raised these three great commanders were about to be cut down in this early moment of the war but the jedi swooped in to slash them into bits obi annie implo praised their commanders for rescuing the parliament and showing the kind of autonomy and effectiveness expected of the clone's design to be commanders in the gir some weeks later plo kun and his commanders would head the search for a cis superweapon that was making entire fleets disappear wolf would command the trio of venators from the jedi's cruiser the triumphant finally they detect the mysterious craft an enormous prototype known as the malevolence upon seeing the sheer size of it and knowing that every other attack left no survivors plow wants to report his position and request support from skywalker who is nearby skywalker is always ready for a fight so i've heard blow is able to relay their position but this transmission is broken up due to interference wolfe is unsure if their allies will respond and seconds later an enormous ring of ion energy forms is fired out from the cis ship as it passes over the venators it disables their electronics that energy field has left us defenseless and now general grievous orders all weapons to fire plo knows this is a fight they cannot win and he has all of his forces rushed to escape pods firing off into space hoping to hide in the debris of their own fleet but the separatist leaders are thorough they send out rocket droid search teams to kill any survivors perhaps this would have been the end of the story for the wolf pack if it wasn't for ahsoka tano she was discovered and brought into the order by plo and she felt the closest to him than anyone else even closer than her master anakin since at this point they had only been together for a few weeks she was adamant that they at least go search the debris field and while the council said that this was not a good use of resources anakin wouldn't accept the possibility that survivors would be abandoned either meanwhile in the escape pod the wolf pack is growing worried even the strong commander has to turn to his general for inspiration in this hopeless moment do you think we've got a chance general i don't believe in chance commander i know if we work together we will stay alive and someone will find us his conviction in the force helped the jedi to keep the spirits high but they were tested just seconds later when what they thought would be a reunion with other survivors turned out to be the site of their slain brothers and the wolf pack recognizes that this was not caused by the escape someone busted that port wide open the wolf pack is able to get some of the pod systems online and they do pick up on another group of survivors just as the droid search team arrived to slice their way in and blast away those clones anakin and ahsoka were just about to leave the debris field when r2 finally picks up on a distress signal but the battle droids had also detected them keep the communication signal alive it is our only chance someone will find us let's just hope someone's looking for us plo and the boys would try to scrap the b1s before the arms of the droach class crushed the escape pod eventually some well-placed blaster bolts and saber slashes worked to free them but the pod was compromised and they were all just minutes away from death while some of the wolf pack had no faith in a rescue palo reaches out through the force and is detected by ahsoka and while the little one takes command of anakin ship plo asks his sergeant why he has no faith and rescue why are you so certain no one is coming we're just clowned sir we're meant to be expendable not to me this early on in the war the clones were still unaware of how much more compassionate their jedi generals were compared to the cold calculating kaminoans who prepared them to be treated as units not people ahsoka is able to find them and their pod is pulled into the twilight's bay narrowly saving the clones with wolf stumbling out gasping for air but they weren't free yet the droids were able to get a message back to grievous about a firefight at a pod and when the cyborg lost contact with them the malevolence returned to destroy any survivors the jedi cut the power to the ship to avoid detection which alerts the wolf pack the commander's suspecting that the super weapon had returned and wants to rush to the bridge power is going out maybe that ship is returned we should get up to the bridge this medical droid was detected by the malevolence nanikin would be forced to weave through the debris field trying to outrun the enormous fleet-killing ion ring with r2 making the calculations to jump through hyperspace allowing them to be the first survivors of an attack by this prototype cis superweapon back with the republic fleet wolf gives his thanks to anakin general flo said someone would come for us we're glad he was right the commander is starting to understand that these jedi care in a way that was nothing like the simulations and out of honor for all of those brothers lost during this attack wolfe had their colors changed from a deep red to a somber grey from here the war would take them planetside to the snow-covered world of corm this planet contained the ore agricite which was so rare that it was only found on three planets in the entire galaxy and which could be used as a more powerful form of fuel for both ships and weapons plo was more interested in freeing the native population which was being oppressed by dooku's droids and for this battle he was joining forces with captain ozel and aided by master kit fisto and master top the wolf pack is now in cold assault armor with bluish coloring piloting an atte with the nautilus jedi and republic captain they're on their way to rendezvous applause and kit fisto has to get them to relax and stop being so impatient while the orders were to capture the aggro site as quickly as possible though plo was carrying out the mission in his typical slow and calm pace fisto telling wolf quote nobody rushes master plo when fisto and wolf venture on top of the walker the commander tries to learn more about their kaldor leader asking if plo was always this way and saying that the boys have a bet on how old the general is wolf noting quote his manner makes him different from any jedi have met so far fisto responds that ploa is an heir of something being ancient about him but also he's as flexible as a youth and this jedi is now curious about plo's age as well but does not indulge this distraction they had just arrived at the rendezvous point with the native kormai they explained that dooku had promised planetary control to one of the kormai warlords in return for enslaving his fellow species and forcing them to work in the agricite mines alfisto tries to assure the resistance leader that the republic will not be their next oppressor the natives remain skeptical but tell the jedi that he will lead his way to the cis fortress as they descend in icy mountain path towards the facility separatist artillery turns the frozen spires into thousands of ice spears the clones are pinned until the jedi rush to take point and deflect the blaster fire master tot goes to destroy the j-1 cannons but the jedi still end up surrounded despite their position captain ozel orders the walkers to fire on them the fact that they were not scrapped with the clankers being a testament to both the accuracy of the att and its gunners and to the force abilities of these jedi most of these droid forces were destroyed with the push into the facility though the warlord did escape the republic and kormai forces set up a forward base in the site just as a fierce snowstorm descended on them they need to get into the mine to rescue the natives and captain ozil states that only a direct assault will deliver a timely victory when questions about casualties arrive he says plainly quote some will be killed and while unfortunate we can always make more isn't that correct commander 36 36 while plo tries to put this friend of palpatine in his place wolfe sees that the kaminoans did prepare them for leaders like captain ozil in just this third mission with plo he was seeing how lucky he was to have him as a general the fleet in orbit reports that a lone ship had rushed into the atmosphere through a tunnel which opened up through the storm confirming intelligence reports that the cis had been trying to obtain this technology khloe calmly realizes that this is actually great news if this weather control device was destroyed the republic forces could take advantage of their air support he says that wolff and his men would be under the command of master tot while he and fisto infiltrate the mine with the detachment of clone commandos the devil dogs of the 44th special operation division had just returned from mimbon and as they raced towards their objective we see that that ship that made it through the storm contained ventress and she was at work organizing a counter-attack her crimson blades would take the life of master tot and drive the weak captain ozil into a panic he orders wolf and his men to rush the descending droid armor but ventress had reserves concealed in the snow once they spring into action dozens of clones are killed in seconds wolfe gets the captain to his feet and tells him that they are surrounded this man hopes that they will just take him prisoner and unconcerned with the clones he is shocked to learn that these droids don't even take officers alive meanwhile the jedi were helping the natives bury their dead blow explaining to fisto that many of these clone warriors will not have their patience or reverence for life but that they must set that example upholding the ideals of the republic something that does warm the devil dog's hearts if only for a moment before they snap into a focus on the mission at hand luckily for the captain ventress did want them alive to find the location of the other two jedi and to the coward's credit he did try to deny giving up this info until the assassin's blade started severing heads with the heat of her blade burning against his throat woof urges him not to give up the jedi's location but ozil caves after learning what she wanted ventress goes to kill both of them but is stopped by the warlord believes it is always better to keep it resource alive what this intel dooku's assassin departs with her specialized commando droids once out of her sight the warlord contacts the weather control station ordering them to create a storm big enough to kill the jedi and ventress as a blizzard consumes the mountain range the jedi are ambushed by ventress and her droids several of the devil dogs are dropped and as she confronts the jedi she uses the force to create a small avalanche that swallows up the remaining commandos in their prison cell wolf is able to put some of his specialized training to the test rewiring the door to free them but not before letting ozil know that this cowardice could cost the republic this world and endanger his brothers when ventress receives word of the prison escapes she flees back to secure them ordering her troops to finish the fight on this mountain pass but the devil dogs were not dead climbing up through the snow they secured the area and are forced to improvise the next part of the mission their native allies say that they can try to make it the rest of the way via snow worms and they are able to arrive at a weather control station just as woof and their survivors escape the warlord's facility wolf and the captain make their way back to the rest of the republic forces but when ozil commands they launch a counter-attack he finds that the walkers are all frozen in place then a barrage of fire comes from a column of droid armor ventress had used their escape to track them and without the republic's armor operational the captain that had continuously talked down to wolf was now stammering and looking to the clone for direction wolfe grabs the officer and puts down fire while moving back for cover plow and his forces were able to slice into the weather control systems and use its terrible power against itself ripping it to pieces and without missing a beat the commanders in orbit scrambled the air support ventress was liberating clones of their limbs as she rushed woof ozil screaming a surrender which was drowned out by the engines of the v19 torrents and lat gunships racing in overhead ventress was forced to flee and wolf was relieved to hear the voice of his general on the calm saying they had taken out the station they were now moving on the mine to finish the fight a wolf was disgusted to see that this officer kept hitting new lows now making it seem that this defense was entirely his doing they see that ventress is moving tons of explosive material into the mine if she can't keep it the cis will not let this precious material fall into the hands of the republic since the natives are being held in there as well khloe lets the devil dogs take point for a quick and efficient assault ozil is now acting as a confident leader ordering the full assault on the mine unwilling to wait on the jedi's report though the wolf pack sees that this is a reckless move wolfe understands the chain of command and gets his men to follow orders an acclimator delivers swarms of fighters but the flack is dense and then the warlord revealed the power of this agricite weaponry a single blast rips through the acclimator and wolf tells the arrogant coward that the bombers won't leave the dent in those guns and calmly asks ozil for orders again the man is speechless and the jedi watch as the fiery wreckage of the acclimator collides with the ice-covered mountains at this point ozil is thought to have gone unconscious and wolf steps up to take full command he is able to get a hold of kit fisto and the jedi tells them to distract the guns while they scale the cliffside to take them out from within the mine once inside the darkness is illuminated by the dual crimson blades of a sith assassin and plow says they will keep her engaged while they finish the mission fisto is able to charge through the barrel of one of the cannons and takes over the firing platform drawing all the droids to him allowing the rescue team to evac the natives with the massive agricite rounds at their disposal one of the devil dogs blasts it to destroy the upper portion of the facility killing the warlord and allowing the rest of the republic forces to aid plokun ventress goes to press a detonator that would cave in the entire mine but a force push sends it falling to a lower level just as she is about to grab it a blaster bolt flies in and destroys the device wolf mocking the bald harpy saying quote sorry ma'am was that yours ventress is surrounded but refuses to surrender calling on the force she propels herself past wolf slashing at his head as she makes her way for the door wolf's reaction saved his life as the blade tore through his helmet and if he had just been a few inches closer he would be dead blow watched as his commander collapsed to the ground clutching his face wolfe was rushed to a medical droid and was bandaged up in time to see palpatine make a hollow appearance congratulating the forces on this important victory of course the coward ozil was being heralded as a hero and though no promotions or accolades were in store for the clone commander who rose up to save their forces he and kit fisto did find out the answer to that bet plo saying that he was 382 years old in keldor years but not explaining what that meant in galactic standard while they ended this mission on a laugh woof thought about how this mission changed how he saw the clone's place in the grand army of the republic he had lost his eye but with this sacrifice he gained wisdom seeing more clearly than ever that the republic leaders were not like the jedi or his clone brothers that he and his wolf pack would only survive this war with the compassionate and competent leadership of those like master plo kun shortly after this the 104th battalion would be called to rescue obi-wan and anakin's forces on felucia despite what looked like a short victory cis reinforcements arrived and were about to completely overwhelm them wolf would command from the bridge showing his ability to lead not only in a fire fight but ship to ship warfare between capital ships they made it through the first wave concentrate all fire on the cruiser on the left plo would escort the la-80 gunships or to pick up the 501st boys being surrounded this time plow would be saving ahsoka as the little one was too eager to keep up the attack despite all signs that the battle was lost forcing one of the laat gun ships to be put down in front of her with anakin ordering her to withdraw if this rescue mission had failed it would have been an incredible loss for the gar and the jedi order at this point in the war blown wolf had developed a bond that brought the best out of both of them and the jedi's trust and respect and his commander helped to bring out some of his superior intelligence and creative thinking bred into the cc's when eth koth was captured by general grievous the cyborg set a hollow message to taunt the council of all the observant minds in the room this one-eyed clone was the first to spot something commander wolfe has found a message in the hollow transmission play back the message heathcoth had signaled his coordinates but because of wolf's keen eye grievous would not be adding the master saber to his collection the next time we see the wolf pack in action is on vancouver where anakin and mace windu had been trapped in the rubble of a downed venator the result of the young boba fett trying to get revenge on the man that killed his father r2 was able to get the message to the jedi temple and ahsoka joins blow in the wolf pack as they immediately scramble gunships to pull them out of the exploding cruiser this trend would continue with a string of crucial rescues throughout the clone wars when even peel was captured and held at the citadel the most secure facility in the galaxy a jedi strike team was deployed to infiltrate an extract but their transport was destroyed during the prison break the separatists were hoping to extract intel on the nexus route which would give the cis a hyperspace highway directly to coruscant and with this possibility on the line and hearing of the failure of that stealth mission the high council decided that they would have to engage the powerful planetary fleet above lolo four venators were deployed bringing plo kun with wolf along with stacey tin arigalia and kit fisto the other masters would provide starfighter cover zipping through the orbital battle to escort hello and the wolf pack in the laa tea being able to pick up their allies just seconds before being cut down by crab droids a few weeks later the republic would attempt another assault on felucia and this time plow in the 104th battalion would join anakin and ahsoka most of the planetary reinforcements were coming from a crucial outpost that was being resupplied by the c9979 landing crafts plo developed a plan where rex and anakin would push the front gate ahsoka would take some of the wolf pack with comet to assault the rear while plow and wolf would lead the rest of the pack from the left flank we see the wolves are sporting some armor upgrades and with a slightly different paint job and for this mission they are utilizing jt-12 jet packs an attack was initiated when plo gave the orders for the atte artillery to fire into the compound and once the wolf pack flew over the walls the commander was blasting away clankers with his dual dc-17s the plan worked and this major outpost was now in republic hands soon felucia itself would be deprived from the separatists but anakin could not find his padawan fearing she was injured or killed all the troops fan out to search the surrounding jungles but after looking all night ahsoka could not be found this didn't make any sense to anakin and while plo was confused as to what could have happened he tries to assure the chosen one that their republic intelligence networks will pick up on reports of a captured jedi wolf looking on while his generals pleads with anakin fall on deaf ears after the young jedi finally did leave plo would continue to dispense his calm wisdom and eventually she did make it back safe but this time rescue came via the hairy hands of wookies not the wolf pack though plow and the wolf back were related to have little soca back there was no time to celebrate as the calamari system was being invaded by a massive cis fleet polo in the 104th would answer king yasukulena's plea for republic aid when they arrived in the system they were shocked to see that only a republic outpost on iceberg 3 remained wolf would don cold assault gear and lead the mission to retake the communications tower and then protect the civilians that were fleeing for the planet monaraan despite the heavy separatist presence almost all of the civilians made it to safety something that enraged general grievous so much that he decided to personally land and confront commander wolf and the jedi knight that had aided him when the knight proved victorious the separatist forces did withdrawal but wolfe was saddened by the news that met him on plo's flagship his general informed him that yas kalina had been assassinated in civil war on mancala seemed imminent between the calamari and corrin woof sees this threatened to deliver the entire system to the cis but plo tries to get his commander to remember what they truly fought for small victories are just as important as the grand ones commander we saved lives here and that is the important thing separatists had launched another invasion of the killer system but wolff would be separated by his general in order to carry out a humanitarian aid mission a massive series of earthquakes had devastated the planet aline while padme is happy to hear that many of the natives survived wolfe stresses that they cannot be diverted for long yes well my orders are to get them on the path to rebuilding and move on the general plot needs reinforcements as soon as possible an acclimator and trio of medical frigates would descend to the planet's surface with plans of building up relief areas and setting up medical centers all automated through the use of droids so that wolff and his men could leave r2 was brought along to help speed up the build time and set up comms while c3po would act as translator packing into an laat the hardened warriors give the timid protocol droid a hard time and as we get closer we see the clone's annoyances with more primitive populations great it's going to be another one of those planets the people like this are the exact opposites of the sterilized high-tech environments that they were raised in and we see this sentiment continued when wolf meets with the local king the commander rolls his eyes at c-3po mentioning the underworld gods avoiding this he explains to them how r2 will help set up the tech that is left with them access and repair of their main computers is job one the r2 unit has uploaded the republic's reboot manuals with instructions on how to make the equipment we're leaving operational the wolf pack splits up to set up the camps mess halls and med centers and wolf has c-3po explain the layout of the relief village that was to be built but the king is going on and on about appeasing the forces under the earth which all sounds like supernatural mumbo-jumbo i need this and thinking about how every second wasted here meant plo and the rest of the 104th battalion was in greater danger we see wolf getting angry and short with the translator especially this tiny king here's how it is my orders are to deliver supplies and re-establish power and communication systems report back to the transport the moment that r2 unit has completed the download the droids would accidentally meet with and appease these underworld gods the earthquake stopped the underworld was sealed and the locals are elated when wolf catches up with them they are dismissive of the droid's rambling really quite an adventure huh get a load of this one they hurry back to the lz and let this ada mission finish we can see just how annoyed woof was by every aspect of this diversion and is eager to ditch the droids and get back into the fight as soon as we rendezvous with master gaglia we're offloading those two i couldn't agree more sir then what started with the disappearance of a tabrula colony developed into a failed rescue mission that would see anakin ahsoka and obi-wan taken as slaves joining the more than 50 000 togruta captured by the zaigerians anakin and ahsoka would eventually break free but obi-wan was still being worked to death at the slave facility on cadavo and it anakin commandeered a zaigerian ship to rescue his master and when kenobi feared that this was another half-baked rescue plan anakin assured him that he called for backup this time you must realize this is a fight you cannot win alone who said i was alone on the way to cardavo he was able to get in contact with master plo and he brought the full force of the 104th battalion while the general piloted his delta 7 and led a pair of arc 170s the rest of the wolf pack would make their approach with la-80s the turbolaser turrets were able to take down one of the transports killing all of wolfe's brothers on board but the rest of the wolves tried to keep the guards pinned down rex obi-wan anakin and ahsoka made for an unstoppable team freeing the slaves and disabling the facility's shields wolf and the boys again utilized jet packs launched cables that helped the tagruta out of their cells and onto the surface of the acclimator that's everyone we have to go the facility's breaking up and with the all clear sent to his general they'll use the air support to completely destroy this evil operation from here they would head out to the icy outer rim world of carlac where we see wolf in command of a republic task force that had just shot down a c9979 the vessel making a crash landing and inadvertently leading to the republic discovering the death watch presence here this was some time after ahsoka and lux bonteri had their encounter with prix vizsla on this world and it is because of commander wolf's mission that death watch was finally forced off of carlac and the mingpo people freed from the mandalorian terrorist faction this year 20 bby would come to an end with a mission that the cis hope would end the entire clone wars wolf was reunited with several other clone commanders like neo and cody during the republic strategy conference on the valor space station over the planet kurita many members of the jedi high council were here as well along with the top republic brass the separatists sent a venator filled with rydonium on a crash course for the station a move that if successful would have surely forced the republic to sue for peace woof was surprised to find out that the hero that set off the explosives prematurely and thus saved the republic was none other than that unassuming astromech that was paired up with the annoying gold protocol droid back on aileen we are now in 19 bby what would prove to be the final year of the clone wars and his battle hardened jedi friend ahsoka was being accused of murdering a woman to cover up her bombing of the jedi temple this seemed unfathomable but there was video evidence in a trail of dead clone brothers left in her wake rex was there with his general and saw her escape firsthand though anakin was adamant that she was being framed and only trying to find the true killer the jedi high council knew how precarious this situation was with tarkin trying to use his power within the grand army of the republic and close relationship with the supreme chancellor take full command of this operation to capture the rogue jedi the council reasoned that the two jedi closest to her would have the greatest chance of reasoning with her and so it would be the jedi who discovered her and brought her into the order her close friend for her entire life at the temple would be paired with her master and plo and anakin would take their commanders along with them in addition to the coruscant guard they would be split over a pair of la-at-le patrol gunships receiving data from countless scanners and droids on the search for little soka plo is trying to stay his usual calm and stoic self and though wolfe had come to respect the young tagrudo warrior he is shaken at the sight of her with the very sith assassin that scarred his face and melted out his eye all those years ago she tried to escape but with the help of the probe droids wolf was able to lead his troops in pursuit a hollow booth at the core of 12th and g got it moving into position he launches the ambush on this trusted ally that he had rescued multiple times over the course of this war despite his plea the jedi was not giving up this easy we're taking you in now commander that's not gonna happen these pair of force users move in a blur to disarm the coruscant guard but wolf is able to get a hold of this bald harpy locking her arms up and hoping to finally capture the woman that had killed thousands of brothers as well as get his own personal revenge but again she would escape from him general plo we had commander tano but she escaped with the help of asajj ventress ventress helps her in parts ways but just moments later appears to betray and try to kill her during the battle she would fall into a large room full of crates the explosion from this fighting alerting the search party and while rex and anakin received the call plow and his team would get there first wolf rushing in blaster raised and done with giving the jedi another chance at coming in under her own will no wolf let me explain while the team gathered around wolf immediately went to search these piled up boxes and spots the worst thing he could have found explosives that seemed to irrefutably tie a little soca to the cold-blooded bombing of her own jedi home explosives these are the same types of nano droids that were used to blow up the jedi temple unconscious she would be placed in restraints and anakin plow rex and wolf ride in on the same transport back to the temple with their prisoner a quiet and disturbing ride through the cityscape all of them wondering how this could be true plo would sit on the jury and wolfe would later learn that anakin discovered that baris offi was the true conspirator ahsoka was exonerated but once released from her chains she would choose to be free of the jedi order as well the clone wars was shaking the foundations of these trusted institutions and wolf's next mission would expose the dark and mysterious origins behind his own creation in just the final weeks of the war the jedi temple picked up on a distress signal coming from the remote desert moon of obadiah the signal was from jedi master sifo diaz it was lost over a decade earlier plo in the 104th would take a venator to investigate and set down several juggernauts and att in the area of the signal emission all of our information pinpoints it is here i don't know what to tell you sir we're getting no visuals and no recognition on the scanner as soon as plo picks up the lightsaber belonging to saifo diaz he immediately realizes they had discovered a mystery it was at the core of the existence of the grand army of the republic the council knows that they are in unsafe territory leading an army in darkness knowing a secret sith was pulling so many strings and wondering to what extent they were being played as puppets it is unclear if and if so how much of this information was explained to commander wolf how he would process this information that that urge felt in him and all of his brothers to defend the republic from their mind down into the genes of each of their cells their entire being was just to serve the role of a sith lord days later anakin would lead the 501st battalion up the steps of the jedi temple his clone brothers helping the most famous general of the republic murder the jedi in their sacred home wolfe would hear that the jedi had become traitors and his friend kit fisto was even a part of the jedi coup that had tried to forcibly take over the senate with order 66 he knew all jedi must be killed and we can only wonder how he felt about jag being the one to shoot down plo kun jag was a pilot who had worked with several different battalions over the course of the war plo actually taking him in after the pilot was disgraced on a previous mission perhaps woof was relieved that he did not have to be the one to raise up his blaster against his closest friend to kill the jedi general that had taught him compassion and kindness concepts that were utterly alien to his training on kamino or perhaps he regretted that if it had to be done it wasn't he that ultimately pulled that trigger hours later many of the clones would be recalled to kamino and talks of replacing them with conscripted troops were already underway there are many important clones whose experiences during this time are still a mystery there are troubling details that point to cody being incorporated with a dark new trooper project and while rex did execute order 66 despite his greatest resistance ahsoka was able to save him from its control and it seems that with this ship removed and while still acting as a loyal subject of the new empire he was going around to warn clones that he trusted with the reality that all of their brothers had been means to installing this evil emperor we know he paid cut a visit yeah rex told us about the clone troopers turning against the jedi you talked to rex when ali passed through yesterday and eventually he would retire with wolf and gregor living out their golden years in obscurity hunting to survive in the repurposed att walker wolf and gregor would both have their chips removed as well likely at the urging of wrecks because if it was left in there they could never be certain that some of the other 150 orders could be activated within them at any time the effects of the inhibitor and the trauma of this abrupt turn against the jedi would leave deep psychological scars on wolf the lives of these three clone wars heroes would have come to an end with them calmly fading into obscurity if ahsoka tano had not reached out to rex for help she had tried to stay in touch with the commander as she helped to strengthen the rebel cells and when she sends phoenix squad to rex these old vets are alarmed to hear that ezra says rex's birth number kanan suffering from his own trauma from order 66 ignites his saber and tries to defend his friends from these clones which in turn sends wolf into a panic jedi they've come for revenge the commander who always matched his jedi general stoicism and composure seems to be consumed by fear and confusion rex needing to talk him down and remind him of all that he revealed about the true events at the close of the war rex lets these visitors into the old republic walker and wolfe cynically listens to the pleads of ezra didn't you hear the emperor said the clone army has outserved its purpose and retired us now we spend our days just telling stories and slinging for jupiter's ezra says that ahsoka was hoping rex would know suitable locations to establish a republic base in the outer rim but again woof is taken over by his fear of the empire listen they're in some kind of trouble if we help them we are putting ourselves in danger wolf relax what do you think the empire will do to us if they find out that we are helping a jedi rex and gregor get him to relax and they decide to trade info for assistance in catching a jupa gregor was spotter and working the line while rex was on the main gun and woof was the pilot clones and jedi worked together for the first time in 15 years an event that was all captured by an imperial probe droid later that night rex tells an eager ezra that after all this time he still wonders what the purpose was of all that fighting during the clone wars just then sabine burst out to explain that the clones had set them up she found records in their terminal that showed that they were denying ahsoka's transmissions in that they had told the empire about the spectre's arrival but rex is genuinely dumbfounded what i never got any messages from commander tano as he reasons with the rebels he realizes that wolfe is suspiciously quiet and the old commander explains why he did it i wanted to protect you guys protect our squad the war is over we are free men is always able to quickly understand that rex is right that rationally he can't be afraid and yet this repeated return to this panicked fearful state of preservation may be evidence of how trying to cope with the betrayal by the emperor had developed into a sort of mental disorder and or he may have suffered physical damage to his brain at some point during these imperial years the probe droid would be discovered and destroyed by rex with wolf at his side trying to calm himself and accept this danger a few hours later a massive sandstorm was forming while the specters are in a rush to leave before the empire arrives we see that wolf has got a grip on himself now and is actually happy to help these warriors who are trying to restore the republic separatist installation pirate hideout and smuggler's dead in the outer rim plus a few mandalorian bases that even they've forgotten about but as they are heading out the walker's calms get hailed by imperials it's for you wolf they call back they never call back and the specters rush away while all agree that wolfe needs to be the one to face his fear and correct this situation it was my mistake and i'll fix it cc3636 commander wolf is it but when rex and gregor hear that the empire had video proof that they were colluding with rebels they know a fight is inevitable and step in if it's a fight you want i hope you brought a better class of soldier than those storm troopers notice wolf grinning and confident done with living in fear seeing and believing that these jedi were not the enemy after all that perhaps if the empire could be destroyed by those like the spectres it would give meaning to the sacrifices suffered by his brothers since their birth into their role as soldiers the walker would get strafed repeatedly by tie fighter before being shot down by gregor when the rebel ship is operational rex says they should leave immediately and that the clones could finish the fight agent kallus would lead a trio of walkers against them and this is their first time seeing an ata t wolfe's shocked that it doesn't have the six stabilizing legs like a republic walker how many legs they got looks like four four how are they not falling over rex doesn't want to face them all at the same time instead opting for the cover of the sandstorm the jedi would be their eyes as all of the walkers had their sensors blinded and with the help of the jedi these clones finally struck back against the empire once that path was opened they rushed out of the sandstorm wolf there's your opening go for it as soon as they get into the open the specters head to their ship for takeoff but ezra pleads with kanan to help them finish the fight rex steps up to assure the padawan that they will be happy to go down fighting knowing that they were protecting those who would take down the empire with that the clones turned to embrace their fate boys this might be it at least we'll go down fighting like a clone shoot i'm with you all the way captain [Applause] no longer afraid this last member of the wolf pack would go down howling rushing straight at the empire which had taken everything from him and all of his brothers i'm going for the leagues all four of them when the power cuts out in the republic walker rex too accepts his fate but the spectre ship screams in at the last second blasting at the imperial walker and dropping in on top of the atat they would take command of it and fire on the walker that had the clones pinned no longer concerned with firing on the old vets gregor is able to get the power back online and rex hops into the gunner seat to send a powerful bolt right into the tabana gas jugular the surviving imperials would race off into the distance while the brothers celebrated the victory the first taste of battle and far too long looks like we live to fight another day don't we always well we do when we've got a jedi leading us with that they turned to salute the group that just moments earlier had driven wolf into a panic with the help of his brothers and this satisfying opportunity to face those fears head on he was back to his old confident self he and gregor would choose to remain on this outer rim planet silos and set up a new home in the remaining imperial walker while rex wanted to rejoin ahsoka originally just to help the rebellion in the discovery and establishment of new secret bases it would be a full four years later now in zero bby that rex would return to ask his brothers for help this time with kallus arriving as an ally along with the rebel leader harrison doula as rex brings the ghost down to the retrofitted landing pad we can see the walker is adorned in the original red coloring of the wolf pack the red detail and red wolf symbol back in its original color for the first time since that devastating fleet destruction caused by the malevolence no longer the somber grey wolf was reborn though he would leave the armor in its original state and we see a smiling old commander saluting these rebel allies upon their arrival once inside they discussed the plan which involved the smuggler and in a way clone wars veteran hondo onaka as well as his accomplice melch and the mandalorian ketsu onyo a wolf still doesn't know the mission details well rebel command never sent a briefing that's because old friend this mission isn't for the rebellion they all explained to wolf and gregor that this mission is to liberate lothal a personal mission to help ezra and honor his fallen master kanan the jedi we've followed them into battle many times well how about one more time on lothal the first step of the plan would be to have former governor azadi contact governor price and appear to be betraying the rebels when the gunships arrive they try to hold them off until the superior firepower of the ghost could get there but first they have to get through the planetary blockade this is where the pirate comes in with a fancy maneuver to attach themselves to an incoming cargo shipment they are shuttled right past the imperial star destroyers wolf in awe of these successors to the venator and at the insanity of hundo's plan on world the imperials sent wave after wave of reinforcements including thrawn's deadly assassin rook when the rebel outpost seemed completely overwhelmed price demands surrender only to have her victory speech cut short when the phantom comes in raining down laser cannon fire after spraying down some troopers and forcing the rest to run for cover the brothers rush out into the battlefront and woof blasts away his very first stormtroopers during the fire fight ezra senses in the force that his unique native allies had arrived and leads the assassin rook and a squadron of stormtroopers into the cave he focuses on his connection with these mystical creatures and the darkness is illuminated by the eyes of the massive loath wolves the spirit of his old master kanan seemed to be connected to the main wolf the jedi survivor of order 66 that helped commander wolf return to the old days of clones fighting alongside their force-wielding generals that jedi was now won with the very symbol that had been on wolfe's armor for more than two decades like shown with the red-colored wolf on their home and seen with wolves returned to his calm and confident self the wolf pack had truly been reborn they rushed out of the cave devouring the imps in their path and they may not be clone brothers but even gregor was reminded of wolf's old pack you got your wolf pack back yeah they fight just like the boys rook would escape but the rest of the imperial forces would be completely overwhelmed and begged to be captured alive governor price crying with fear at being eaten the original governor azadi steps forward to reveal that he was not a traitor this was all a plan to draw her out and with the imps and cuffs they move on to the next stage of their operation ezra telling them that the fight is not over all with the elated commander wolf proudly looking on the final phase would see them using the capture to rinda price to get clearance to the imperial command center known colloquially as the dome a portable fortress that was set down on lothal and which acted as the seat of all imperial power on world rex and gregor would be a part of the strike team and once they capture the control room they prepare to send out protocol 13 which would immediately recall all imperial forces to the dome upon which they could set it to explode hera then calls out to wolf to update them on their success for me to signal for pickup technology expected to nice work we're standing by but as they were loading up supplies rook springs on vizago and drop kicks wolf and strips mark matin of his blaster wolf gets back on his feet and grabs the assassin but he is head butted right in his cybernetic eye and flipped overhead as rook goes to kill the kid the wolf pack reappears and chases thrawn's pet into the la tle with protocol 13 given the imperial forces are filling up the dome but thrawn arrives to place his star destroyer right above the command center if they try to send the dome up it will crash down and destroy the entire city thrawn says that with all of the imps safely in the dome now he will bomb the entire city if ezra refuses to turn himself in while the young jedi was brought before the emperor the spectres were frantically trying to engage the shields and over at their base wolf and his squad were being woken up by the wolves that thing is gonna warn throne about our attack it's just like ezra said and as they race to get the ship flying mart explains that this was the secret reason ezra wanted them to remain behind he had seen the possibility of thrawn's arrival and says they now have to carry out his contingency plan as they soar off the wolfpack races alongside their ship and in the cockpit wolf is asking the rebel more about this secret plan and send out a signal beacon on frequency zero frequency zero nobody uses that anymore who we supposed to be who are we supposed to be contacting oh the kid won't tell him exactly what will be contacted in the dome they were facing off against rook and death troopers as they tried to activate the shield to protect the city they knew every second counted with the guns pointed at every city block and the old vet gregor would rush at these inferior imp replacements to take the shield activation platform but one of those downed enemies showed more perseverance than most using the last of his strength to put a bolt into the clone's chest gregor would go out in a way that would fulfill the very purpose of every cell in his body dying a hero's death while saving thousands of innocent lives as the shield generator was engaged before thrawn could open fire with a complete bombardment we can assume rex relayed their friends dying words to wolf and surely they were all thinking the same thing about this operation it was an honor to serve with you rex it was an honor to fight with you for something that we chose to believe in because we see this sentiment in the smiles on wolf's face and the glint in his eye even being the underdog up against incredible odds we see a commander wolf that is more lighthearted and relaxed than at any time before just as plo had opened him up to a range of emotions that the kaminoans deemed obsolete over these past years the jedi and his brothers gregor and rex helped him to let go of the traumatic past with the purgle summoned by that frequency zero call ezra was able to deliver his dramatic exit everyone is stunned and speechless but it is the old practical and focused wolf that breaks the silence um was that the plan because we're all clear up here there are no imperial ships left hera gets them all to evac and as they rush to the top of the dome woof blasts away the last squadron of these stormy clone replacements that were blocking his friend's escape with the rebels back in the ghost sabine sets the station to self-destruct as they soar overhead they see the citizens of lothal rising up to secure this victory and their own freedom over the next several years lothal would be built up to new heights and their planetary defense forces were trained in part by rex and wolf this reborn leader was creating his own new wolf pack passing his lifetime of warrior experiences to these locals a clone born in a lab genetically and psychologically manipulated at every level to create the perfect soldier was now working with farmers mechanics builders and merchants all these civilians of diverse backgrounds and abilities proving that when the fight was one you chose you could meet this challenge with an unrivaled sense of joy and purpose that heroism wasn't something you could breed in a lab like wolf taught to clone deserters at the very beginning of the war and like all of his brothers and jedi would teach him over the course of the war and into this imperial era heroism comes from protecting those you cared about and he was able to turn these civilians into heroes of their own right which would keep lothal free from imperial rule for the rest of the war the ultimate end to the life of clone commander 3636 wolf is still unknown but it is likely that he was kept informed on republic alliance affairs perhaps even rejoining rex during his fight during the battle of endor or being visited by his old general's favorite togruta the now not so little soca what we know for sure is that wolf in his golden ears was now more at peace and happier than at any other time in his life and that concludes his
