what are you telling everyone what what am i telling them all your secrets oh i hear something running no i don't have the can secret number one there's a leak [Music] the fitting is loose yeah somehow what's that fitting go towards i don't know oh okay it leaks oil that's all we need to know and the driver the driver didn't check it no good thing i wasn't the last one otherwise what i have no idea hopefully another leak yeah didn't you see it i did but this is for the viewers how long's this one been leaking like just started oh i just thought when you moved it oh this is fuel what's that tighten up against the bottom and an o-ring right there and it's supposed to stop leak so i'll tighten it up and you'll turn the key out or i'll turn it so i can turn it on pretty sunset [Music] all right i heard it didn't sound so good [Music] did it leak it more leaks so whatever is that 53 3809 let's go check nope they run the same filter different number yeah a new holland and what here no here's a 809 but this is a 53. there it is good thing i was here because he may not have found it these have the same lock collar as a challenger oh um okay i really don't like smelling like these salts it's not my favorite you might need this this ring oh i may have done that yeah we're gonna put oil in it now we took a road trip this afternoon uh to indiana where we picked up all of our sorghum seed it's about 3 500 pounds of sorghum seed that we're gonna plant this year hey hon walk much how in the world yeah wow good thing you didn't fall yeah so it is a sorghum sedan grass from alta seed yeah we did plant this last year there's two different varieties here right uh maybe just a couple bags of something else so basically this sorghum sedan grass grows to be about what six foot tall i don't five six foot and then but it doesn't head out it's um it's light sensitive so once the once we start losing sunlight all right let's be technical once we dry below 12 hours and 21 minutes of sunlight then this starts to put out ahead as long as we have like 13 hours of sunlight this stuff's just gonna keep growing anyways we're going to probably start planting this next week and yeah it likes hot temperatures and we've got hot temperatures coming so you're putting in hydraulic oil yeah we'll check it here with a dip stick it tells you that there's a warning light comes out era tells you on the monitor too inside the cab it was beeping oops i just about fell right there so i'll put in one more are you hot all right we're heading to the field getting a late start look at the sunset [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] day two at chopping the the headed out rye uh ethan ethan hold on i always feel like i'm gonna break this thing ethan mowed it a couple hours ago we're gonna go right in and chop it right off yesterday what we chat is plenty dry doesn't pack very well so today we're hoping it will pack a little bit better but it's so windy out right now that hopefully kevin doesn't get a face full of silence when he's trying to push it up that's the only issue we have right now cindy's going to be driving today he's driving the rtx and i'm still in the volvo with the dump so that's what we're doing and uh yeah let's get going and i forgot my selfie stick so i'm gonna make sure my brakes are released um i forgot my crab my selfie stick so that's why you're so close because my arm only reaches so far and i'm not using my other camera because this my phone is sometimes just convenient just to carry so here we go [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] there we go we're all finished uh so we're finished with all chopping of rye for 2021. we still have one field of rye left that we will be um getting the grain off of we combine that and then that rye grain um is what we is what we use to plant the cover crops for next year so we can save the sea we can save the seed year after year and that's what we do and then of course we will bail the straw that comes with that so hopefully there's a lot of straw and hopefully there is a lot of seed kevin was having a time pushing that up mainly because it's just not packing very good if you know what rye's like it's kind of got a waxy outside it's really soft but it just doesn't pack well um but he's trying his best to probably put the big tractor over it a few times and see if it can pack a little bit better but basically with the loader tractor he can just push it up and that's about it it's not really packing it all right i have to go make supper and work on a video so this is the pile of rye the kids and kevin they covered it today and i got out of doing that job because i was mowing hay but yeah we got it all packed and covered the best that we can packing wasn't the greatest as you know it's really fluffy and it was pretty dry even the second day mowing it and then chopping it right away it's still it when it gets headed out it starts drying out and so the um the product is just a fluffier product so that's just what rye is so the pile this is um i believe this was about 20 acres that we chopped and yeah that's the pile that we got out of it i don't know if you can't fully see but it was a good amount and the sun is setting again look at that thank you all for watching hope you have a very blessed day take care
