Chaos Shield build with a Merciful Ending! | Hades

greetings friends jawless Paul here we're playing Hades again and I am going back and I I'm grabbing the chaos Shield we're going to do a chaos Shield run cuz we somehow missed it before uh chaos Shield is is pretty cool uh after you do a bull rush you fire off your Shields just like that and it's it's pretty great so I think what we're going to do is we're going to go for a merciful end uh chaos Shield thing so we're going to get uh Aries on our attack uh Athena on our special and then hopefully hopefully we'll find uh we'll find that merciful end but I I don't think I use I don't think I use uh Aries enough in the game he's he's really strong Aries is really strong and worthy worthy of of your attention okay having having a be low like that is a bit of a bummer this will take a while especially against these enemies maybe we can get yeah grab some health I don't know that I want Deiter I mean it wouldn't be terrible to have Deiter I have a challenge for you boy I do like a challenge oo that was lucky okay we got him quick I'll give you that nice uh 50 50 Health boost in that arabus gate the great thing about chaos Shield is it does uh it does have a nice does have a nice benefit that you you block a lot of things cuz as you're charging the bull rush you're not taking you're not taking ooh uh I think we'll go for this Hammer here you're not taking damage you're blocking it you said it yeah that's the other cool thing about the chaos Shield is that occasionally you get chaos themselves talking to you oh that's that's kind of cool um let's go with the charge charge shot it's a little it's a little awkward cuz we've got a curse on our on our charge but I think it's going to be we didn't uh aim that very Welles okay maybe Athena will show up I mean you never know you never know anything possible but yeah chaos chaos Shield is pretty cool uh there was a day there was a time when when chaos Shield was considered like the strongest weapon aspect it was the strongest it's not that way anymore uh but it's still it's still pretty good the the the loot Loop of of you know charging up charging up the the shield for the bull rush and then charging up the shield for the bull rush and then like releasing it and then firing off all your Shields it's a very satisfying and uh effective effective Loop Poseidon H can't even remember what the Aries Poseidon what is the Aries Poseidon Duo Boon I can't even I can't even think of it is it probably probably nothing uh that impressive sure we'll take Poseidon Zade if it's epic like that why the heck not more rolls all we're going to want to roll a lot hopefully so yeah that's other other nice thing is you can apply Doom to the whole lineup of of enemies it's pretty great this is one of those situations where the uh well of Kon is just enormous I feel like it's just huge compared to us like you guys I mean doesn't it look a little weird it looks a little awkward maybe it's just uh maybe it's an optical illusion but I don't think so I don't think so so until we get Athena on our until we get Athena on our uh special it's going to be a little awkward it's going to be a little awkward cuz we just don't have just don't have the damage that we want um I probably should have taken a shot but you know like ideally we find uh I I really wanted the pal though cuz Palms are really great for Aries so worth worth looking into yeah upping that to 80 damage is is great there's a double pal actually uh you know I I am going to grab it two a Gates and tardus I mean this is unheard of this is unheard of for us let's see you put your youthful reflexes to work oh you kidding me Ah that's that stinks ah how lame is that he's going to laugh at laugh at us very funny very funny I can use this uh sure second win no let's go side hustle getting getting side hustle early like this pretty nice it's pretty good oh we could have gotten Poseidon there and then we could have gone for epic epic Boons get to work yeah as you as you see it's uh there is a lot of great damage going on and when we get Athena's special we'll have um deflection as well which is really great you know deflecting all those projectiles and even even melee attacks uh will be great even melee attacks will be deflected oops man okay me got gotcha no hot feelings okay let's see here we want Athena let's see um should help we get Athena none of those are none of those are necessary we've got a good health situation 185 is is pretty solid pretty solid we'll see Lear your okay what are we going to get from Hermes what do we got I do like you know the the chaos Shield just feels just feels good you know there's just a lot of lot to like about the chaos Shield okay there's our Athena get Athena on our special okay we've got little more Health too nice your father's for I'll hand this control thanks so while we're here um I'll probably put this to a vote as well but if you want to cast your vote for what's sort of a in in my last vote Guan U was a popular choice uh not quite as popular as the beam as the Beam run but uh but it was it was pretty popular so what kind of a Guan you run would you want to watch yeah I should kill these because those other guys are difficult to difficult to kill there it is 81% bonus damage very nice keep this between us yes keep it between us we got a lot of money let's go to the shop next Island should help keep me going we're going to up that damage what rip current awesome ooh rare crop could we get rare crop here I mean if rare crop hits our special that would be special this is okay that fight not not too bad but okay you know uh I can I can see the value of getting mistal Dash we got another curse hi Kitty do you want to do you want to get on my lap here that's that's great that would be a wonderful Choice Extinction but uh yeah let me know what kind of gu you run you'd want me to do going back to that it's also a fun way for you to show your support by engaging in the video a little bit you know a little bit of little bit of commenting helps every video did you know that did you know that it helps the video well now you know um yeah and then we'll we'll have a Guan or a Guan you run I'll probably also do like a vote on the on the channel as well to see if you know I kind of give some options but if you guys want to give me some option ideas and that'll that'll help me they'll help me populate the type of guu run we want to do but there's a lot of ways to make uh the chaos Shield work another good one is is sea storm you may you may notice a a theme that sea storm is just really good sea storm is just super super good look at that we've already got merciful End online let's take this I believe it's the final final uh thing yep okay pleasure doing business let's go with breaking wave one one cool thing we can do hey hey Kon I didn't mean to talk to you I was actually trying to get this one of your one of your products but uh but also good to talk to you nice it was a nice chat all right let's have it out yeah sea storm seastorm is also a great chaos shield now this isn't as fast as as some other merciful end combos right obviously like you can some of these are just crazy fast this is not this is not quite as fast as all those but it's still it's still pretty great you know what's funny is actually is probably more efficient to not even use the uh it's not even yeah good to use the chaos Shield uh idea right now cuz really you just want to you just want to get merciful end off as quickly as you can cuz it's not like you're getting we're not getting uh multiple enemies hit by the special like I I because it doesn't Pierce through the first one that it goes that it goes to the special that is not the attack the attack obviously Pierces but special does not so if there's an enemy behind that also got cursed it's not going to benefit from the merciful end thing okay what do we want now maybe maybe uh Palm Blossom or should we just go Evergreen Acorn I think we just go Evergreen Acorn yeah good enough bye Asphodel bye see what kind of a hammer we get here in elisium The Shield is got some of the more I guess they're not they're not necessarily disappointing but they're not my favorite they're certainly not as good as some of the other um weapons they've got other weapons have a lot more lot more uh better ones four additional foes before returning now that doesn't actually work the way you think it might where uh it's going to like all of the shields are going to hit additional enemies they're not all going to like bounce between each other and you know that that's not the way that works um we'll go with the Ferocious guard it's it's kind of underwhelming they they were all kind of underwhelming though to be honest they were all kind of underwhelming but we can get a bit of bit bit bonus damage like that that was nice nice super easy okay I think we'll go to the shop rare crop stubborn Roots fine okay now I'd love a good curse you know Athena's curse would be great here interuption I mean it's not it's not the worst you got to get your timing down just right I guess sometimes it takes a second for the special to go off it doesn't like to go off right away but it's good damage very good damage especially with privilege status you know just what I wanted unshakable metal uh we'll roll here yeah blinding blinding flash that's what I'm hoping for okay better backstab damage yeah more areas we need uh some of those some of those Doom some of those those good Doom uh secondary bonss are are pretty awesome okay Lord Aries yeah probably the best thing is if we had uh well definitely the best thing would be if we had I should have rolled there should have rolled wasn't thinking okay should be useful some more Health think I think we'll be okay for money yeah rip current love love rip current so much rip current is so great nice the power of the Gods yeah we'll we'll up our Poseidon there that's pretty cool I do like rip currant a lot just it just feels good don't spend it all in one place mate killing freeze sure God's grant me strength yeah more even more duration that's nice it's very nice if we can get proud bearing from Athena that'd be so cool as then we get to do justess okay oh come on that's that's that's more like it there we go anyway okay we just go pide in [Music] here so one cool thing is we've got uh breaking wave which actually works works for just the shield knockback the kind of the basic Shield knockback so it's it's pretty amazing you've got uh it it doesn't even have to be a Poseidon skill which is super super cool Poseidon and the shield work really well together do okay I really do like the uh Athena effect on on um the Athena effect on the special is pretty cool too let's just go typhoon's Fury I guess hope this can get me out of here let's go buy this Athena Boon maybe we'll find proud bearing that's not what I want how about some other b instead there it is all right we've just trivialized this entire biome yes we have very nice here we go it's this is this is always fun I one of my favorite things to do in the game is to get uh to get Poseidon's uh to get Poseidon's call with proud bearing and rip current and just these rooms just become so so easy so easy disgusting layers huh what I was blocking I swear I was there we go power all right let's up our rip current little bit maybe I mean maybe we get rare crop that would be that'd be pretty cool easy peasy so fun okay in the name of Hades I mean I think we just roll why not just roll you know we can roll again ah no rare crop ah well okay I'm good what can you do time to deliver the goods oh here's this could be a rare crop though we have one roll come on baby let's go that's too bad that's just too bad I mean since since these hallways are basically they murder themselves we can just kind of keep going it's not it's not a dangerous thing to do Ian if we could find more palms for Poseidon's posid call that'd be sweet it could happen what is oh you're Kitty you w Really Want to attack my my sweatshirt at at such a time as this come on there we go all right we've almost got enough for that Hermes Boon which I think will be pretty awesome boom I know I know I don't want to spend too much money here but or any money at all I guess but even if you're not on the right side you just they just get pulled into the wall it's it's beautiful it's a beautiful thing it is weird that we didn't get any uh any additional like Aries Aries Boon you know usually you see usually you see some of that stuff you know like impending doom that sort of thing not today though not today okay here's the Fe move faster sure all right here we go Ser here we go here we go I see you boy crunch crunch crunch I must admit it's a welcome change of pace Darkness who do we got dark I'm not sure why we're doing so much additional damage there 630 instead of 450 maybe we had uh a curse on or something yeah that's got to be it we've just got yeah we we got this phase in the bag okay enough of this all right yeah it's just not going to work this is for your I got I got out of all out of whack okay I don't think you can block these you wish toer me you wish to anger me can't move your trapped got him okay I wonder if we can get if we can kill do almost the entire Final Phase just with Poseidon's uh just just with Poseidon's call wouldn't that be cool okay we got the full full see how long we have nope probably need to Palm it up a little bit more than that to get here we kill him yes thank you no healing for you awesome I fail you again well there you go a lot of fun things in this video we got the merciful end we've got uh uh
