I do a lot of building in The Sims 4, like,  I probably build three or four houses or more   a week in The Sims, so I'm really familiar with  build mode and all of the items that come in it. And despite like, how often I build, there's still  a lot of items that I just never use in this game. Some because I kind of forget about them,  others because I actively despise them,   and today my idea is to try and build  a house using a lot of those items. Let's try and make a house specifically  with items that I really don't like. So I've created a small selection of items,  it's kind of a weird mix up of things,   but I was kind of going through categories  thinking, like, what items do I never use and why? And there are a lot, but this  is what I've gathered today. So number one, I pulled out this Spa Day counter. For some reason I just don't vibe  a lot of the wood swatches on this,   and the rounded upper cabinets, like,  this is just icky to me, I don't know why. It's not really that bad, I guess  like I can see why people like it,   but there's something about this that I  just -- I don't know, I don't like her. This bed is a base game bed.  Something about the top of it,   like, something about this top of  the bed frame, it just is weird. Like, if it didn't have that part and it just was  like, the lower part, I would like it because it's   not like, a super odd bed, but it's like,  this part up here that I really don't like,   and I'm not a huge fan of the swatches either so  I kind of find myself like, avoiding this bed. This is a wicker couch from Laundry Day. Honestly all of the Laundry  Day stuff I kind of avoid. The wicker isn't really the problem so much  as the shape, like, it's kind of a weird like,   egg-shaped sofa so I kind of never use it and also  I thought it'd be funny to try and fit in this   wicker sofa with this like, more modern furniture  because a lot of the things that I sort of avoid   are the more modern-looking items because I  don't really build a lot of modern houses. I also put this little bar  stool from Get Together on here. I think it partially has to  do with the color scheme,   like, I'm not a huge fan of the color options. And this is just really not my style.  Same thing with these paintings,   they're just really not my style, like, I  don't love the glass frames these are in,   they don't have a ton of color  options, I kind of avoid these. And also this cactus, I never  use this cactus and I think   the reason is its little spikeys  are weird. It's a weird cactus,   I like the idea of a cactus, it's this  cactus that I just -- I can't get behind it. So this is my selection of items, I'm going to  try and include like, more things I don't like,   like when I'm trying to go through the item  list when I'm picking out like, appliances,   I'll try and pick things I don't use on purpose to  try and branch out a little bit here, but for now,   this is our selection of items for today. I might just sneak those to the back of  the lot for a little so that they're not   in my way of building, and we can  like, pick and choose them later. Also this is from my shell tour video, I can  link that down below if you want to watch it,   but if you see this and you're  like, what is that? It's a shell. The lighting on this lot is bad,  okay, well, we'll figure it out. I'm kind of thinking that I want there to be a  porch on this house because I never use like,   the wicker furniture and I feel like  maybe we could fit it out on a porch   and the rest of the house can  be a little bit more modern? I'm also noticing that a lot of these things  kind of have like, interesting blue-y green   type swatches, so I wonder if we could try and  go for some sort of color scheme like that? I mean these aren't really blue,   they're more like straight up green, but I  don't know, that an interesting thing to note. And I guess maybe I'll try and  build some sort of modern house. I'm really not a fan of modern builds in The  Sims, it's not that I don't like looking at them,   like, I don't think that other people's modern  builds are ugly, I just -- I don't really enjoy   building them for me. It's just not my style,  you know, so I don't really love making them. I'm kind of trying to make this a little  bit more interesting than I normally do,   I don't know if you can tell,  but I am trying, I swear. Okay, maybe this should be a little bit bigger. One, two, three, four, five. Okay,   and then I'm gonna put just like a one  high platform on either side of this. No, that looks dumb. Maybe  I'll get rid of this side. I think it's a little bit like,  I don't know, left heavy. Like,   it's kind of heavier on this side, so maybe we  need to get something else going on over here. And the back is a bit boring, so  we need to think about that too. I mean, all in all, it's a pretty small house  it's not going to be like, very expensive either. I'm thinking the porch could be like,  back here and then maybe we could get   some sort of like, pool or  something, I don't know. These items are in a weird location,  can I scoot you all down here instead?   Can you be like, on the side of the  house maybe? That would be great. Because look, we could put the pool like,  right up to the edge and then if we did like,   some sort of fence or like, wall or something,   we could think about fences that I don't often --  I guess kind of the whole point of this is to use   stuff that we don't use very much so if we can  find some things that we don't use very often. Mm, I think I want to do like,  a darker wood on this. Oh,   do you know what, this might  actually be interesting. I feel like I probably shouldn't use the  platform back here though if I'm gonna do that,   but if we did something like this and  then picture there's like, you know,   fancy tile down here. Lots of  wood accents outside, like,   in the rest of the build, maybe like, some  little bushes or something in this area. I think it could work. I'm not loving how  that's like, clipping, that's super weird. I don't know about that. Maybe we'll  put some bushes to cover that up too. We've got options, okay? All right, maybe we could pick some sort of pile  that I don't use very often? Sorry, I've got like,   a bunch of custom content tile that I don't  usually have installed, sorry if that's confusing. My immediate instinct is to use one like this,   I like the squares, but I also feel like  maybe I should use something different. I mean, maybe this, I never used that one. And what if we like, surrounded that and  we put some landscaping down here. Maybe?   I don't really often use these little tiny bushes,   I kind of tend to use like, these everywhere so  maybe I shouldn't be allowed to use this one. Maybe I have to use different landscaping. Is  there anything landscaping-wise that I hate? I don't love this tree, I think it's kind of  weird and I struggle to find spots for it.   It's not that I like, hate it, like I don't think  like, this is the worst tree in the whole game. It's more just like, I don't really  know how to fit it in most of the   time so maybe that could be a fun one to use. I was kind of looking at this image as like,   an inspiration for what we're trying to  build. I think this looks quite cool. And you know what, I'm kind of into this  idea, I didn't really notice that like,   nook of a tree, but I wonder if we  could try and sneak that in somehow. I mean, I guess if we just  put like, a room over here. I'm sorry to this furniture, it's kind of in  the way. Well, it's still there, it's fine, I   can probably put them in the backyard now because  we're not going to touch the backyard for a while,   but I wonder -- I never use the bamboo, I wonder  if this would be a fun thing to put in down here. Again, just on that like, mission to  try and add things we don't usually use. I think that helps too, I think  it makes the place seem more even,   like it's more natural-looking  with something on that side. I don't know how we're going to do the  floor plan, we'll have to get back to that. I'll have to think about that. Okay, I'm putting a  very large custom window in, I've done it kind of   like that and basically I've like, scooted all the  window pieces together to make like, one piece. I like how that looks, I'm not really sure  what this little area is gonna be downstairs,   but we could probably like, turn it into  a bathroom or something because it's sort   of small and just like, cut it off and then  it makes sense with the windows being there   and then this could probably be a bedroom. I'm kind of wondering if maybe the  bedrooms could be like that? Like,   those two rooms, and then there's a  staircase like -- where does it fit? There. Oh, that's actually pretty good. Oh, do you  know what, this would be a perfect spot for   the bathroom then. You can just like,  sneak it back there and it totally fits. Okay, let me just get some lights  upstairs. Yeah, I think that's fine. I'd probably   put a wall right here, I don't know what that  would be, like, maybe an office or something. Oh, do you know what we could do, and I  think this would help, what if we made   this on a small platform. Because the front porch is on a platform, like,  you have to step up one, so if we put like,   the entrance to the house on the side,  say the entrance is like, right there. I'm not really sure what  to do about this area now,   I wish that it was a little bit, um, I  don't know because I don't really want   to put a door like -- I mean, I guess  I could put a door like, right there,   I just don't love the idea of there being a little  tiny door like, right at the end of the stairs. I might get like, stairs that are floating though.   Oh, maybe that helps. Maybe  I'll use white doors inside. Okay, door there, door right there,  I don't know what goes back here,   we could put like, a little  desk or something though. This could be a three-bedroom house if we  wanted it to, it's only a one bathroom though   which is kind of sad, but eh, I never do that,  I never do three-bedroom, one-bathroom houses. I did also want to use one of the  really big sliding glass doors.   Ooh, maybe not that big, maybe this smaller  one, but I wanted to use like, one of these. I quite liked that idea of having it be like,  wide open to the porch and then maybe, hang on,   maybe the kitchen could be like,  back here in this little corner. Uh, I think I might use like, the wood tone one,  like, that one with the black. Okay, it's kind of   a little tiny space, we'll have to pick a rug that  we don't like to put down, maybe I'll do that now. Because the rug sort of helps define  the living room area. Do you know what,   looking at this, what if we use the zebra rug? There's a lot of like, black accents in here,  I think this might actually work. What if we   put the zebra rug like, right there? Genuine  question, I'm not even joking, what if we did   it? When else are you given the chance to use a  zebra rug? You're not really, so let's do it now. We'll have like, a couch  right here, TV right here. I might pick out the furniture or like,  the appliances for the kitchen really fast. I'd like to use ones that I don't really  like, but I also want them to match, like,   I don't love this fridge, I never use  this fridge, but I'm not gonna like,   throw this into this modern house. We want  it to still fit, so maybe I won't use that. D'you know what, I never  use the Snowy Escape stuff   and that's not because I hate it,  I just kind of forget about it. Although, does that look weird, the Snowy  Escape fridge? Like, with those cabinets,   it kind of doesn't fit. Maybe I shouldn't use it. How about a mini fridge? Oh, you know what I actually don't like, hang on,   honest full truth right here, I hate  this fridge, I never use this one. The reason I don't like this fridge is because  I don't like how it's like, white on white. I like this one better because  the handle has like, more   to it, but I also don't want to use like, the  cheapest fridge because the house is kind of nice. This is the dilemma. I don't love how this  looks either so maybe I'll use that one. If it were up to me, I'd probably  use this one for this house,   so I'm making a sacrifice and using this  one instead. That counts, right? Oh my god,   you know what I hate more?  The Cool Kitchen counters. I kind of forgot. I like these even less! Oh,  should I use those instead, oh, maybe I should. Oh no, I don't like the texture of the wood on  them, like, something about it looks off to me. Does that make sense? And I hate  the upper cabinets especially. I literally despise that all of  the cabinets are frosted. Like,   the only not frosted one is the end  piece, that makes me want to cry. If we had like, less frosted  ones I would like it better,   but they're all frosted, I hate frosted cabinets! No, that's horrible, okay,  feeling good about that. So in the kitchen, I will probably make  like, a custom window behind the sink. That looks okay, it doesn't look that good from  the outside, but it looks okay from the inside. And there's a tree covering it so that's fine. I always have kind of a hard time finding a place  for this big square window from Snowy Escape,   what if we put it like, in the  corner like the inspo pic had? I don't think I love that, but maybe  that could be cool from the inside. Okay. Oh, maybe I do kind of like it,  does that mean I can't do it? No, look, this goal is to do things that we  never do, I never do this so that's fine. That can stay. There's a lot of  windows like this that I never use,   I wonder if I could fit that in somehow. I don't really want to put it in the  front, but I wonder if maybe like,   up here on the back, that could be cool? Agh, it's so annoying how they're all like,  different shades of black, like, the fact that   this sliding glass door doesn't actually have  a black swatch, it's like a dark gray, why? I guess I'll probably do the same windows  on the back that I did on the front. I am so glad that you can  stack windows like this now. I don't know if you knew this, but  we didn't used to be able to do that,   that's actually a pretty recent development,  like, since Eco Lifestyle we could do that. Okay, I think I want to use a  glass railing, I hate this one. I hate how it's lit up like that. I think that this one is probably  my favorite and like, most used one,   but I also really hate the base game one because  I hate how does it have a regular black swatch,   it only has like, grays, but more so, I really  hate how there's like, a pole in between every   tile upstairs, like, that bothers me so much  on this fence, so I think I might use this one. Maybe it'll grow on me, you see, I'm trying  really hard for these things to grow on me. I kind of loved the corner window,  I almost want to do it up here too,   I feel like it'll fit really well  up here as well just because like,   we have this great window size that  kind of fits in with the space. Mm, if only the windows matched the  sliding glass door, wouldn't that be nice? You know what, I might even do this,   like, I hate to say it, but I kind of  wish that there were no angled walls. I feel like the angled walls are not the vibe. I'm really trying to use windows I don't like, I'm  really trying, I just -- they don't fit anywhere. I feel like I'm suffering enough  with like, these things not matching. Oh, I wonder if I could use this thing  somehow, oh, I've never used this. Why does it -- why does it not fit? Like,  why can't I make that straight across?   Why -- why -- why does it have to be where it is? 'Cause what I want it to do is be  centered, but that's not gonna work,   so maybe I hate that enough to make it stay.  There's a lot of weird windows in this room,   I kind of like it though,  it's kind of interesting. But yeah, I never use these University  windows, I just don't like them, like,   I just -- I have a really hard time  finding a spot where they fit in anyway. Oh, if I didn't have the platforms, this  could be a cool window to try and use. But see, even that's like, a  different shade of black, why? Does the Snowy Escape window fit there? I ask because it would be cool if we could  get like, a window -- I kind of want it   to look like it's one big glass panel right  there, so maybe the Snowy Escape one is best. Oh, that's really annoying. Like, how it  looks on the inside is really annoying. I didn't really think about that, it's  in such a random spot because I wanted   the TV to be right here, but I guess  it's okay if the TV's in front of it. All right, now that I've done most of the  outside, let's see if we can pick some wallpapers. I do think we should go for something  kind of similar to what's in this,   I wonder if there's any good  wall, like, wood textures? I don't love these ones, these are the ones  from Island Living and I don't love them   because of like, the piece, like, the trim piece. I don't think that's what we're going for  with this, I think it needs to be horizontal. D'you know what, there's the Eco Lifestyle  one and I don't really use this that often. I always have a hard time finding  like, places to fit it in. I wonder if it would work on this,  maybe we could try and use a bunch of   the Eco Lifestyle stuff I don't use, like,  this is a metal wall from Eco Lifestyle,   that could be a fun touch to put on like,  the planter boxes. Right, that's interesting? Sorry about the lighting on  the lot, I know it's terrible. And then maybe we'll get like, half walls all  the way around up here so that we can paint them. I think that works, and then the brick that  I wanted to use -- I was thinking about like,   other packs that I never touch: Fitness  stuff, I never use Fitness stuff,   so maybe we can make this room into like,  a home gym with the Fitness stuff items. 'Cause like, I honestly could not even think of  the last time that I used that pack for anything,   I like, never touch Fitness stuff so I  think it would be a good addition to this. Okay, so in that picture, they had wood like this   on like, all of these pieces. Does that  look okay with the wood there in the front? But I'd rather have it not be there in the back   so we have to figure out a way  for it to like, end somehow. I don't love how the windows look on that wood,   I'm not fully sold on it yet,  but I'm thinking about it. I guess maybe it's a good thing if I don't  love how it looks, that's kind of the point. I think this is interesting, right? I mean, I don't know if it looks good or not. I don't feel capable of like, judging  as the level head because I don't like   this kind of build, like, I never  build this kind of thing so like,   whenever I do, I always feel like  my own version of it is ugly. Like, no matter what, I'm convinced this doesn't  look good, so hard for me to make that choice. All right, I think I want to put like, black   trim on this. Um, how about  black tile? No, just kidding. Why can't I put this up here?  Why does it do that? Alt. Okay, come on, if I can just get it in the right  spot, okay, hold alt, perfect. That'll be good. And we put like, a black trim, maybe the flat  one around the bottom, and then the black on top. Well hey, I think that looks pretty cool.  Well, I can't get the tile back. Hang on. Hold alt, hold alt. Why -- it's so weird trying  to place it on the half walls! What the heck. Yeah, I still don't like this, I still kind of  wish the wood was a bit more of an even tone,   like, there's a lot of variation in the  wood here and I'm not sure I love it,   but I think it's kind of fun so I might keep it. I might just put black on the roof out here. All right, I think that kind of came  together, let's start furnishing it then. Maybe I'll start by furnishing some of the  outside. I want to use a lot of like, outdoor   items that I don't use very often.  Ooh, weird, why is it doing that? Look at that, what the heck? So I can't place it there? Do other ones  work? What the heck, why is it doing that? Is it like, trying to place along  this half wall? If I delete the   half wall -- oops. Maybe if I delete the  half wall, I can do it? Oh, yeah, okay. I wanted to use this one because I like, never use  that. I'll put the half wall back, don't worry. Probably on the front and back of the house. Oh my gosh, what if we made the backyard like,  a tiny bit bigger so that we could perfectly   fit these in. Wouldn't that look so cool? It  would be like, exactly to there. Does -- oh,   it's floating, never mind, maybe that won't work. I liked the idea, besties, I really  did, but I'm not sure it fits. If we made the backyard one smaller maybe, but  even then, it's kind of float -- I don't know. Okay, I'm just gonna put a bunch of these  little bushes down here on the side, I'm kind   of trying to cover up like, the weird parts of  the pool and the fence that are still visible. Yeah, that helps, that's really nice. I don't know about the back here,  but we can think about that too. I guess it doesn't really matter  what you can see from like,   the back-back of the house 'cause  you're not even gonna be out there. Should we put like, some fancy water in the pool?  We could put like, one of the fancier blue ones,   I don't know if that looks bad or not, does  that look murky? It's not supposed to be. We could use like, the shiny,  sparkly one, that could be fun. I might put tile in the whole pool too, that  makes it kind of shiny from above as well. Oh, I like it, that looks  nice. Okay, I might just like,   stick the furniture in the room  so that it's like, pre-prepared. Oh no, I forgot I was gonna use the  barstool, there's no space for it.   Oops, oh, I don't have like,  a kitchen island or anything. Oh no, can I fit in a kitchen island somewhere?  I don't know where the TV would go though. I mean, ideally like, there would be an  island somewhere, but then again like,   there's no wall space for the -- no, I  don't like that I'd rather put a bar. I guess, that's another good  point though, I never use bars. I like, never put bars in my builds, so maybe that  would be a fun addition to like, put one out here   in the back somewhere. The world is our oyster, I  never use any of these so we could put anything. Yeah, you know what, I'm kind of thinking like,  the poolside bar could be a really fun addition. Should I just fill in the whole thing and  like, tile the whole back then? Or I mean,   we could put the bar like -- mm, let me just  put these on the wall so I don't lose them. Put the cactus inside too. I already have to use these dumb  wicker things, that's the problem,   I don't know how to like -- I don't  know how to do both at the same time. Well, let's get like a coffee table. Oh, there's  that one that looks like it's got fire, this one,   this one, this one. It looks like a fire pit,  but it's actually like, it just is animated. We use all black maybe. Oh, and you know what  else we could do, we could put a ceiling fan. This one is like, wooden so it kind of matches the  wood. That would be really cozy to hang out in. I might put some more of the bamboo  trees back here because again, I wanna   use some more landscaping and I never use these. Thoughts on that, how ugly is that? I can't tell,   I honestly am asking for help because  I don't know. Mm, I don't think so. I do want to put some flowers  down here though, like, something   at the bottom would be cute. Oh, I  never use that, we could use that. Unless we try and go for like,  something a little bit more   organized. There's another version of that  tree that's smaller so we could put both. Ooh, I never use this, I don't  think I've ever used this item   so that could be a fun addition.  Put that somewhere down here. Okay, I actually kind of like it out here. I guess last thing, I'll just need a trash  can somewhere so we can stick one in the back. Oh, and maybe like, a pool light or something. Oh,  I guess I didn't give them a pool ladder either,   maybe I should put one. And maybe just like, one light down here  on this side of the pool. Okay, sure. All right, inside I want to use wood floors,   but I'd like to use wood  floors that I don't often use. For example, I hate those. I literally despise those, but I'm not sure it  fits the vibe. Ooh, I don't use these Island   Living ones very often, what if we used those?  That could be interesting, and then I was thinking   I would put like, the tile on this part and then  in the bathroom as well. Okay, that could work. I did still want to get like, a  little dining table somewhere,   the problem with a lot of the small  tables is that I don't like them. I never use the Spa Day one. I honestly  don't think I've ever used that,   I couldn't tell you a single time I used this. Oh, you know what I never  use is these chairs either,   that's interesting. Should we try  them? I think that might work. I kind of wish that I used something that had a  little bit more color because the place right now   doesn't have a lot, but there's potential, maybe  I'll put like, a hanging plant somewhere too. We can just fill this place up with plants  to help like, fill in the empty space. Maybe if I could find a little  plant that I don't use very often?   Oh, like this one, I don't use that really. I quite like the pink flowers, that's  kind of fun. It's the pot, the pot too. Why does the plant like, turn blue in a  different pot? Why? Literally why? Maybe   the kid's room can have that, or it could  fit in this room with that bed swatch. Ooh, what if we put this thing underneath  the stairs? Is that odd, do you think? I know it like, kind of creates a  weird angle underneath the stairs,   but I also think it's kind of interesting.  Okay, there are a few couches I never use,   like, honestly, have I ever  used this? I don't know. Again, Fitness stuff, never use it. So maybe we could put that like,  underneath the window upstairs,   that actually could be kind of cute. I'm not sure what color, that  one's kind of interesting. Ooh, maybe the Mosquito couch could work. Again, extremely odd, but it's got a cool color. I kind of wish that it was  like, on the other side,   but what I mean by that is I kind of  wish that like, this arm was on the   right side and that this little bit was  on that side, but oh well, it's fine. I think this could work, I don't love this TV,  this is one of my least favorite TVs in the game,   I just don't like the speaker things  on the side, it kind of weirds me out. Oh, you know what I never use is this,   let's use that TV stand. It makes  the TV look giant in like a bad way. It doesn't fit! Should I size it down?  That's better. It being sized down is   actually better. Okay, I've never used  this plant, let's put that down here too. It matches the couch, it's the right color. Ooh,  I don't really use those. Do they hang too low? I could size it down. Oh, I  also never use this light,   what if I put this above the table?  That could be a fun touch to have like,   a little pendant back here in the  corner, and it sort of matches. All right, on the inside  though, I kind of want to use   this as a backsplash, I  think I'd use the same one. I don't know if I want it on the  whole wall or just there though,   I don't think I want any of the wood inside.  I'm not sure about it, but I can put some of   these art pieces I said I never use, like,  we could put this little one down here. Oh, you know what I never use? A  dishwasher. Maybe I should put one. I'm so bad about remembering to  put dishwashers in my builds,   I'm so bad about that, we should use it. Right now I'm kind of scrolling  through base game clutter   and thinking if I can pick things that  I don't use very often in my kitchens. Oh, this would be a fun item to put somewhere,   maybe I'll put this in one of the bedrooms.  Oh, there kind of isn't a good spot for it. Ah, I want to use it though, it's cool. I could use it, right? I'm gonna, I'm  gonna put it on this side of the bed. I like it in that color too. Oh, I always  forget about the knife block, let's put that. I like, never put that in my kitchens,  I kind of forget it exists. Oh my god,   I can't put this where I want it to be, I'm like,  trying so hard to make it alt placed correctly. Ooh, let's try and use some of the Mosquito items.   Like, look at that mirror, I never use that. That  could be fun and it has like, a fun color as well. Oh, let's definitely use it. Does  this not come in black? Why? Why? Oh, maybe this one, I never  use this. That comes in black.   Why are the swatches so bad  on this sink from Seasons? I don't like any of them. Like, they're  not good. Maybe I'll use that one. I also was thinking about using this shower,  but I don't know if I could bring myself to. I said things I don't like, so let's put this. All right, and then we said Fitness stuff items  so let's try and use some of that stuff too. No, I really don't like the Fitness  stuff items, I really think it's so ugly. I can't be the only one, right? No, you  have to agree with me, this is legit ugly. Am I really gonna use it? Okay,  I'm gonna put the treadmill like,   right in front of the windows, I  think that would be super nice. I don't know if I want to use the other thing too,  I'm kind of worried about it being like, too big. Maybe I dodged a bullet, but it's a genuine  concern, okay, I think it's too big. There's actually some kind of  interesting furniture, like,   I sort of didn't really remember that this mirror  even existed so that might be a fun item to add. And we have this cute like, towel rack and stuff,   another thing that I kind  of forgot we even had, so. Ooh, what about this? I don't think I've used this  item yet, this is from the new   plant kit, but I feel like that kind of  works well for what we're going for in here. I don't know where I'd put it, I'm kind  of struggling to find a spot for it, but. Oh, maybe like this. This mirror  I don't think is gonna work. I think I might make a whole mirrored wall  back here though. I'm kind of envisioning   that your sim might like, dance in front  of it, or like, do yoga or something. Now obviously you can't actually do that, but we  can pretend. See, I'll put like, some music down. I'm ignoring the wallpaper  until last because it scares me. Here's what I'm working on in the bedroom,   I'm kind of thinking we could get  like, a little reading corner nook. Well, at least like,   a little table with some books on it.  Ginormous hanging plant in the corner. Ugh, I want a dresser so bad, maybe  I could put the dresser back here,   like, some sort of tall skinny one. Oh, that's perfect. Then we can put  a full-length mirror right here.   Now I want to pick a lamp I don't normally  use, but I'm not sure which one that is. I don't think I ever use this one,  but I'm not sure that's a good like,   bedside table lamp. Maybe I  could use this weird metal one. I quite like this room, I  think this makes sense. Hm,   I wonder if the Movie Hangout  rug has a swatch that could work. Honestly, that one kind of is fun. Do you  know what, I wanted to use this chair,   but I think I need to put a desk in the corner. I know I always do this and put like, desks in  the hallways and stuff, but genuinely, like,   we need to have a desk up here because  my Sims need a spot to use the computer. Ooh, maybe that chair could  be fun, I never use that one. It's functional now. I really, really dislike this bed  and like, most of the swatches on it. I think there's a couple good ones, like,   I like these first couple, but a lot  of these I think are kind of scary. I really have a hard time using  it, so maybe I'll try and use   it in this build because that could  be kind of cool, the blue and pink. Ah, you know what, I never use this  nightstand, maybe we could try and put this. Mm, I don't like how that looks in front of the  window, maybe I'll put the bed, like, down here. What direction is it supposed to face because I'm   thinking it's probably best facing  this way because then you won't like,   bump your head on the corner because that's  a sharp corner, so I'll put it like that. All right, this is a very different vibe,  like this item, very different vibe,   so maybe I'll try and use that instead  because that kind of ties in the colors. Wait, that's kind of cute! Maybe I'll  just give the kid like, some toys   and then we'll say we're done. Or wait a minute, I don't use the science  station that often, that could be a fun touch. Thoughts on the frog rug? I don't know,  it's kind of random, but maybe it's cool. I don't think I even knew this swatch  existed on this, that's pretty cute. I like that room! Okay, so the whole  upstairs is painted, downstairs,   I don't know what colors to put. I was thinking about doing like, a solid black   accent wall. This is like, a black tile from  Spa Day, but I think that looks quite cool. And then truthfully like, you could paint a  lot of the walls white. That's like, so normal. Oh, you know what, I think this looks really cool,   and we used all the items that  I wanted to and then some. Oh god, not that. No. Wait, we could put the Fitness couch right here,   that fits perfectly. Okay, and then  with that, I think the build's done. So it's a two, almost  three-bedroom house, one bathroom. Very expensive and full of items  that I like, never use in my builds. Do you know what, I loved doing this. I thought I was gonna hate the house at  first because I was trying to use all   these things that I don't actually like, but  I think it actually turned out pretty cute. The lighting looks terrible  in that gallery picture. I will stick that on the gallery for you, I'm  also kind of curious to see how many packs I used   because I think I used a lot. Uh yeah, oh no. That's because I used all these packs I never use,   like Strangerville and Fitness Stuff,  and the house is 55,000 simoleons,   but only two bedrooms, so my bad, but  hey, it's supposed to be weird, right? If you like this video, I do a ton of builds on my   channel so I'll link some down below  and you can feel free to subscribe. And with that being said, I think I'll  catch you all tomorrow, bye everybody. You know what, there's a lot of plants  in this game that I kind of forget exist. I should try and use more of them more often. [ JAZZY OUTRO MUSIC ]
