I wish there was a way to subvert the known laws of quantum physics and show the restored item to the people who initially created them, assuming the original creators are long dead. That would be a cool reality show.
I know nothing about restauration. Doesn't sandblasting damage the material? Is there another, more gentle, way to get rid of the rust?
