British Taxi Drivers try Bubble Tea for the first time!

hi I'm Josh I'm Molly and today we're with some Jolly cab drivers afternoon evening we just had some good Korean barbecue beautiful it was very nice fantastic food we figured after proper hearty meal be good to have something wash it all down with sounds good in America they call it boba in the UK it's more commonly known as uh bubble tea yeah really no honestly I'm being serious I thought you was gonna have chocolate ice cream and strawberries you're gonna be disappointed this is the classic milk bubble tea now if one don't like this just once you have to drink it oh you don't you don't peel it you've got to stab the straw through the end you had that before I've heard it and I've it intrigues me now don't expect because we like saw the first lot you might get an eye on this one there's one of those gonna choke me when I swallow it up is that coffee or something no no it's not toffee jelly tapioca tapioca [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] that ain't for me special what that they're a bit chewy don't they I mean do you generally like bits I'm worried yeah well if you're drinking tea or coffee and there's a floater in it you know what do you think love them but I'll be honest with that the uh bubbles through the gaps first mouth worry about trying to remove true up when you come at me now what other bubbles are it's tapioca it's tapioca that's the one when I want to score it runs as big as that at tapioca oh you've had tapioca before there's a little sculpture yeah you should do a runner have you gotten some of the bubbles what bubbles keep going keep going keep it good give it a good walk yeah a good oh slur a good goal okay well you're not really um oh what's that what is that jelly careful it's really it's not coming up what's the thing that's jamming it it's uh yeah yeah it's tapioca what pudding yeah you guys you guys know tapioca yeah cool love it you imagine driving a taxi around having one of those in your drinks holder yeah yeah yeah you could easily all day long [Laughter] the next one I'm afraid was uh damaged in transit we obviously should have put it in a Black Cab um [Music] here we go who wants to drink it out the back oh my gosh the second one is taro flavor my first thought is like aubergine or beetroot or something like that you know that's what I'm thinking any bubbles in this one so this one we've replaced the tapioca bubbles with coconut jelly here we go Marvin Gaye but this should be taken no no no no no no flavor yeah it's nice isn't it that card reader well did it taste like life or death [Music] dog that's right yeah sick [Laughter] that is really nice and this is I like this better it's quite sweet it is sweet this is a bit of an acquired taste oh yeah it's all right it's okay it's doable okay yeah but this this one's all right for me okay are you okay with the original yeah I'll throw the classic that's nice I like the juice that's a lot nicer so you leave this one yeah that's not for me that one okay the choking hazards you don't like to come with a warning we approve of the tarot no that's fine and the coconut jelly yeah I prefer the jelly to the chewies what they call it again I love it you like that I just think there's a bit too many bubbles from one to turn I would give that probably four or five okay that one I'll probably give for nine oh okay strong start there wow I'll give it 10 ounces you give it 10 hours Bill gives it 10 out of ten would you give it 11. it's not an auction do you think Coca-Cola got 10 from the start no it now gets 11. sold it that one will get 11. can I get a 12 from you Bill yes you ready to try one more type yeah there's a take on the original that's really popular right now this one needs a bit of a stir oh yeah look at that it looks a bit Grim at the bottom doesn't it so that's the dog yeah [Laughter] so this is brown sugar Pearl milk tea this one is a little bit sweeter than the first one wasn't sweet enough for you oh [Music] this is definitely the better one do you like this one the best you like this it's like a Coffee caramel thing on a sheep that's too sweet for me I haven't got much of a sweet tooth okay you might not love this thing well [Music] no I don't like that one you're right YouTube [Music] oh wow sorry I'm sorry no that's true I mean you know every opinion repairs that's just what I've had before that pop in your mouth oh at least I've got popping ones what the heck a popping Ones playing spots [Laughter] oh yeah that's better that's better that's that's that's the one is it because it's a fun color pool do you think you driving around your cabs you pick up one of these you know just a nice refreshing snack yeah you could drink the drink but it's tapioca just take the bubble out of the tea what do you really want it's just a really sweet cup of tea instead that has been a little introduction to the bubble tea first time ever yeah first time ever for me not bad do it again yeah yeah you see how the craze has taken off but
