you know the restaurant's named after you what's your role the person that always been in charge was my dad and then when when he developed his alzheimer's i stepped up in this business wow what do you mean i i get here early i i do uh the remaining things as janitorial vacuuming cleaning of all these plates and cleaning the restrooms scrubbing the toilets washing the patio that's just from eight until about four maybe weekends usually i'll come in for extensive cleaning sounds like you do a lot of cleaning cleaning what are you talking about the restaurant is a mess [Laughter] take away the cleaning what else you do karina um help me out there's no key person there's no one really directing the kitchen on how the portion should be how the quality needs to be consistent you know you need to be working in the kitchen when i worked here and mike worked here we jumped in the kitchen they don't want me in there who the chefs the chefs they're very adamant about uh keeping that kitchen to themselves it sounds like you put over a barrel now it's like everybody's kind of running the restaurant i hope nino was running it not really no that's not true but nino's hair nino isn't here he's here at lunch so he doesn't run dinner are you here for dinner yes i don't understand why you're not here lunch and dinner it's something my mom and i are constantly frustrated with nino's doing everything half bath and so mike and i have to come in help the family wow it doesn't make sense it doesn't make sense irritates the crap out of me he spends a lot of time sitting down with customers i mean not just visiting promoting the business sitting down and talking for long periods of time in the middle of lunch and he's the only restaurant manager i think he'll find it anywhere that has lunch at lunchtime he spends a lot of time in the office watching tv this is not even true he's not here he's not here at eight in the morning when i get her why would i come here and again fantasy i watch tv the television here is 40 years old and i have uh high def at home with all the all the channels i need why wouldn't i just stay there i get here tell people you're working because nobody's here so you can say whatever you're doing right stretching the truth it is not my brother never tells the truth coming from a pathological liar i take that as a compliment he thinks i'm i'm some kind of nut because i i'm in a recovery program but i'm not that has nothing to do with that you're just a liar he thinks we're awesome i'm living in a fantasy world according to him no i think you're in a fast world by the way you act here my honesty feeling is he doesn't do crap here he does a lot of sick i'm talking he makes everybody believe he does crap just like last night he ran up to damn restaurant and to see it just being run down drives me freaking crazy to my opinion he doesn't do crap my mom will admit it my dad will admit my sister admitted but i will come out and say it passionately doesn't do crap so here we actually have the salmon bloody hell yeah that's the salmon that's the salmon and why does the salmon go in a pinwheel i don't i don't know thank you i mean honestly look at that plate i mean little balls of hush puppies massive wedge of cornbread that looks like a door opener and a pinwheel that fits perfectly you know on the side of my tomato wow no seasoning on there whatsoever aged balsamic vinegar macerated with brown sugar on salmon needs to be backed up with salt shall i take it away please yeah thank you you're welcome holy crap okay hater not like that he thinks that the balsamic the reduction needs to be backed up with salt he wants to know the idea between the pinwheel of the salmon he doesn't understand it i think it's interesting i like it i think it's a i think it's a cool presentation on the plate i like it okay way to stand up for your food rich way to stand up for your food i do i like that that's one of my that was called soup of the day gloopy under seasoned wasn't even hot it was just hideous big fan of that too big fan of the soup what i've just eaten has been an embarrassment pan-fried oysters just solid cornmeal with no seasoning it needs some form of seasoning i didn't know that you don't even know what super the day is going to talk to you about the pinwheel of salmon can you go and get me a pinwheel yes hurry up please chef ramsay i like the pinwheel i'm not asking you to like it you give your food 10 out of 10 so me talking to you about food it's like yeah i'm talking to a brick wall behind you right i liked it i thought it looked nice and kind of unique and different kind of unique and different yeah and how many strips did you get out of a salmon 14. like until i just looked at it i didn't even think this was so small right and even the bloodlines on there as well nasty chef to chef have you any idea how bad that makes you look on decisions about how food is prepared i believe in what they do back there that's their thing especially rocky come on collard greens overcooked tasteless mush i thought they tasted great they were overcooked though you knew they're overcooked have any idea how [ __ ] deluded you sound what how can something be [ __ ] delicious and overcooked there's no such thing man our customers that stupid are you no are you no are you and didn't want anybody to get the misconception it's artificial guarantee no complaints on this guaranteed that's a pretty bold statement excellent thank you my darling wow look at the size of that that's a lot of crap and you haven't told me about the k yet oh he said he wanted everybody to know that it wasn't real crab it's artificial crab so he spelled it with a k so there was no misconception so it's fake crab meat in a seafood restaurant on the water [Music] oh [ __ ] me holy crap rubber tasteless that's going straight to the trash oh my god he hated it why the fake crab was the number one reason the omelet didn't go over well no doesn't like the crab in there i i've never that was already here i didn't buy that stuff i don't want to use frozen fish it's not product that i'm absolutely overly proud of but at the same point i'm held accountable for all the inventory that the owners have paid for how's the food so far why are we serving fake crabbing anomaly i don't he did that you're the general manager why are you laughing i give the choice have you been drinking no the crab was shocking embarrassing and fake it tastes disgusting have you tasted that crap no i'm extremely allergic to crab and shrimp so there's no crab in there i understand it's monkey fish oh my god i'll let you finish general manager my ass i'm being blamed he thinks that ashley did allow him to do that before letting him serve those types of rashes because it's great aj's the general manager he's supposed to oversee the food and now i'm hoping and praying that gordon says aj is the one that's bleeding his business okay uh fish and chips certainly the best looking thing i've seen somebody rubbery is it frozen the fish i believe it's frozen it is frozen when you take a bite of that cod it's almost like you've got a breaded condom in your mouth he said it was rubbery uh too greasy and it just said it tasted like a frozen cotton obviously he hit it right on the button so this is the same recipe that we've used here forever so i am for change i want to change good [Music] wow this one is the salmon look at that thank you sweetie [Music] dan everything's just so sweet the dressing is like honey and so much of it absolutely disgusting quite possibly one of the worst salmon dishes i've ever eaten i don't like anything that's one man's opinion it's a pretty successful i can hold my own all right these plates are filthy dirty i mean literally caked in dust jessica yes darling when was last time these plates were taken down and cleaned um when did we open eight years ago yes you've never taken them down since you've been here i don't believe so wow my god lisa he's up against the window following all the knick-knack sounds that were all like nasty and dusty he's wiping them all like with his hands right now and she's thick and she's thick damn he's observant guess what is up thank you [Music] this is the big buoy wow and it comes with fries and onion rings rocky how just cascades off the plate what's that a scallop a small one that's a scallop yes how rubbery that is i know they were sent back early the same because they were too chewy and tough wow it's disgusting yeah it's just dumped on here do they season anything no bloody hell yeah i'll bypass that guy okay otherwise i'll need a bypass okay that was a big boy disappointment let me tell you mark the fries are soggy and he said he will bypass because if not he's going to need a bypass keep in mind he comes from a place where they think scones are delicious you
