Big Hero 6 - Was an Emotional Roller Coaster - Movie Reaction

big hero 6. yes what's up it's jv welcome back to jv's galactic adventure today we're checking out big hero 6 so to keep it on the theme of superhero animated movies because i just came off incredibles and incredibles 2 which i absolutely love check out those reactions if you haven't we're checking out big hero 6 which from the pictures here i'm guessing is a superhero movie and i remember at the time the commercials was like superhero stuff but obviously i never saw it because i thought it was a kids movie but it did really well i got 90 rotten tomatoes box office 657 million dollars i got at the box office so not as much profit as the other movies we're seeing the other movies we're seeing a profit of like over a billion dollars for toy story and and uh i think how to train your dragon had over a billion dollars in uh in profit so let's see how much the budget was the budget was 165 million dollars so not as expensive as the other ones but not nearly as profitable so it's a bit less of a return on their investment so that's probably why we haven't seen a big hero 6 part 2 or big hero 6 7 or something because like i'm i'm like i'm really into like finance and investing and stocks and all that stuff if you follow my instagram you'll see but um i like to get into like i'm wondering i was like wondering why why aren't they making more because it doesn't make sense but this one didn't make as much it still made a lot of profit but not as much as the other ones which toy story 4 made over a billion dollars in profit so we're definitely going to see a toy story five so there's always kind of a motivation why they haven't made more and it's mostly because of money because if it's a high return on investment they'll definitely do it if it's kind of lower and uh it's not as high they chances are they might not the only chance that they would make a seven is if there's enough fan input and fan um engagement and stuff on like social media and stuff like this if they see a lot of uptick in that then they might do it so guys pump the jv galactic stock and hit the like button that helps out a lot and maybe it'll get their attention to do more of these because if it starts trending and stuff on twitter and everything in youtube then they might do more like we saw with the zack snyder uh snyder cut film so let's check this out oh i also have like i gonna do has no weapons robot wars every time they try to bring that show back it always gets cancelled again they tried to bring it back like a few years ago done already hold on go home i've got more money oh he's he's playing him this is a classic uh like hustle it's a classic hustle like i've seen it in fresh prince and stuff where you pretend you're losing or you suck yeah and then you get more money and then then you turn it up the next the second round or third round holy whoa he can separate oh my god he's not even trying oh popped his head right off oh sick no one hustles yama [Music] get your robot back [Music] the dude oh crap wait are they japanese like it's hard to tell everybody looks white oh what would mom and dad say he's that smart they're they're gone they died when i was three remember oh they died hey damn you lost his parents i can't stop you from going but i'm not gonna let you go on your own all right he just has his big brother now ah he took him to school robotics oh his brother's smart too whoa that's gotta be electric oh whoa that's so cool look at the cat he's got cat hover feet this is where he could be chilling [Music] whoa [Music] behind the line please hey wasabi this is my brother hiro wasabi hello hero prepared to be a me catch whoa jeez the hell is that induced plasma oh yeah oh here he is here he is this is the guy he's in all the like the the posters and wallpapers and stuff look at this he's like a smooshy like soft rope hello i am baymax your personal healthcare companion baymax no i will scan you now he talks interesting you do have a mild allergy to peanuts he got that from the scan holy crap that's incredible you can tell what you're allergic to this chip is what makes baymax baymax okay that's important really yup so he's got like a thousand pounds shot a skeleton he can lift a thousand pounds have a lollipop nice i use lithium-ion you know super capacitors would charge way faster yeah but they don't last that long super capacitors you can charge them extremely quickly but they have they don't last as long as lithium ion well if you like things easy then my program isn't for you we push the boundaries of robotics here my students go on to shape the future said exactly what he needed to hear to motivate him i have to go here i'm gonna lose my mind this nerd school how do i get in every year school has a student showcase you come up with something that blows callahan away you're in but it's got to be great this is a microbot microbot oh my god holy whoa holy crap now things get a little more interesting it's like carbon nano tubing the microbots are controlled with this neural transmitter neuralink man that's what elon's working on but you you don't have to drill into your head wow that's like super powers that's like green lantern power can now be accomplished by one person whoa they built that can move anything anywhere this is insane he thought of this so quickly this is crazy it's so advanced it was like [Music] [Applause] [Music] like on par with iron man i think i want your microbots at craytech shut up chris cray is right your microbots are an inspired piece of tech hero i'm offering you more money than any 14 year old could imagine how much i wouldn't do it no matter how much money he he offered robert did he take one of the bots mr cray that's my brother's yeah he tried to take it my my worry is that that uh tech microbots is so sought after that something bad might happen well obviously something bad is gonna happen you need some conflict right i gotta check who the voice actors are i don't know who they are hey i am i wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you so whoa holy crap man see they're gonna try and take your freaking microbots already professor callahan james cromwell he was in a he's in a lot of star trek uh my hands in there episode someone has to help he's a great voice actor and actor no way they're not gonna kill his brother to his parents died oh come on are you serious oh are you freaking serious they killed his older brother and he that's all he had ah jeez that sucks that's too much tragedy man like parents are enough that's insane he lost his big brother let me try to save that guy oh the professor okay i'm not gonna come on i can't oh my god he was there this whole time in the little box he wants to help adolescence diagnosis check your brain for puberty well what hormones okay uh fluctuations you should expect an increase in body hair especially aren't they thank [Music] oh someone stole them possible they were destroyed in the fire followers something's broken follow it follow it scan it so that guy stole it man that freaking guy that wanted it from from the tech company but he's trying to go somewhere oh yeah find out where he's trying to go with that stabilizer is he walking over there [Laughter] baymax he's on the train street car is this a fictional city it's gotta be there's too much uh diversity and like the architecture it seems japanese but then it doesn't he's so squishy though how's he gonna fight crime are they going to fight crime i don't know i'm assuming well i let out some air excuse me i keep farting like smart so you can fit you're gonna be all deflated are you oh my god they're making more holy moly okay you're in danger kid oh obviously what do you think yeah i don't want to be a downer but they've also disproven that drifting is faster than normal driving mythbusters they debunked it it's still way cooler though no he can't this is this is way beyond alistair cray what palestine yeah all signs point to him like cray there's no way the guy's too high profile him his blood type is a b negative cholesterol levels baymax you scanned him i am programmed yeah everyone's healthy blood type yes uh this is awesome everyone in san francisco oh i don't know san fransokyo cool it's like a mix got it i'll scan the whole city at the same time i just have to upgrade baymax's set actually oh cool watch this guy i need to upgrade all of you what who knows oh this is cool all of them are going to be separate heroes and it's going to have something to do with the tech that they showed in the beginning you can be because nerf guns i have nerf guns we're in can you feel it you guys you feel this our origin story begins we're gonna be superhero that's a very dangerous ability that i think wasabi is gonna have okay so sticky balls oh cool whoa holy crap oh she's like super fast what the super jump and he could flamethrow so he's got like a wow okay whoa he's got claws that's so dangerous though lightsaber arms whoa don't touch yourself with that oh oh yeah baymax 2.0 whoa that's so much better oh my god he looks sick not fist bumps oh whoa holy crap rocket fists sick and it comes back you can fly oh cool [Music] oh oh god oh he's got to learn how to fly right he doesn't know how to fly yet oh god pull up oh samurai pizza cats oh my god san fran tokyo whoa [Music] damn this is cool man i want more of these [Music] sick baymax yeah oh my god oh this is awesome whoa did he break the sound barrier this is like how to train your dragon i'm getting those vibes right now i'm getting like uh toothless and hiccup vibes oh they're like wind turbines they they capture energy whoa screenshot wallpaper curious if baymax is actually a match becoming friends with him or he just sees him as a patient you know relax keep firing oh my and they missed they need practice even she missed go go oh [Laughter] and jedis do that too oh damon waynes that makes sense i think it doesn't really say wasabi underneath him but i'm assuming he's the only black person in the cast so or or no damon wayne's junior i don't know it doesn't say oh yeah yeah wasabi damien wins junior okay yeah and what can hero suit do is just armor they can portal they've created freaking portal technology what [Music] wow magic hat what about organic material does that work a military he's trying to sell it to the military for a weapon but you need to have a portal on the other end sir we've picked up a slight irregularity in the magnetic containment field oh mr craig is there a problem no don't put pressure on him this is how things go wrong general oh god was that someone's daughter we've lost all contact with the pod irregularity oh god the government shut down craig's experiment and he's using your microbots to steal his machine back craze the guy in the mask oh no get out oh no davis get us out of here he's trying to build the machine i think i know what's going on the deuce what's going on the guy's daughter died and he's trying to get her back and he's not necessarily the bad guy he just says what he wants oh oh he's he's hero he went in there to save you that was his mistake crush it destroy the man destroy hero it's not what your brother would have wanted do it me max destroy it holy crap stop oh what the hell are you doing hero i know he's angry but ho whoa holy crap everyone's trying to stop him this is crazy hero relax stop oh he's got his mask back he's got the powers back holy moly the music and they they muted the the sound effects oh you heard all of them my healthcare protocol has been violated i regret any distress i may have caused how could you do that hero this isn't part of the plan here why oh jeez man these movies are so good what the hell man it took me so long to watch all of these no one because like no one like around me at the time was like yo you gotta go see big hero six like it just doesn't happen there was i don't know it's just i missed them all but i'm glad i'm getting to see them now and watch it with you guys and appreciate how absolutely incredible these movies are where the heck is big hero 6 2 biggs hero 6 3 and like and incredibles 3 and four and like you know i don't know why but this one didn't perform as well as the other animated movies i've seen like that made over a billion dollars this made 657 billion million so that's probably why we haven't seen a second one um because this was seven years ago so man i really hope they bring it back i really hope there's more to if you guys know that or any more coming out like let me know it was very interesting with the professor um he ended up being the the main antagonist but he wasn't really like he was bad in the sense that he was trying to get his daughter back right which was kind of a noble cause but he was trying to kill big hero 6 like the team he was actually trying to kill them he wasn't trying to capture them or knock them out or like can or or restrain them you're trying to kill them like what the hell oh is this based off a comic book it looks like i'm seeing all these comic book um panels but um he was trying to like kill these guys so like that's when i i'm like okay forget him like you gotta yeah i gotta put him in jail um yeah what was this based off of do you guys know anything about the background of this i see like a samurai pizza cat and stuff was just based off of a uh anime or a a comic book strip and it was cool with the blend of san fran tokyo or san franco or it was cool because i was like is this tokyo it doesn't look kind of it kind of just looks weird and there's a lot of diversity so i was like this can't be so i'm not sure if there is a lot of diversity in tokyo but it was cool that they mixed san francisco with tokyo and that that's what made this like fictional um place the whole thing with hiro and his brother uh tadashi was amazing i loved that tadashi character i it sucks that we didn't get to see more of him um like they already took his parents so i feel like they didn't need to take his brother too like that's a lot of loss for a hero you know heroes usually lose their parents or one parent or a sibling but to lose both your parents and the big brother is kind of a lot but hiro um he's got baymax who is kind of like he has a lot of his brother's influence in him so um even though baymax has his own character his own personality and stuff but it's cool that he was built by his brother and he wears his brother's hat and stuff and i want to see more i want to see more of their relationship grow even though like we saw a good amount of it in this show we saw a good amount of uh baymax's growth in that in him learning and him able to all the abilities that he has and i was wondering does baymax actually care about hiro or is he just being his hero just his his um his patient but no he cares about him he actually cares and wants to care for him and stuff and i loved the um the suit that hiro made for baymax in the end the red suit with the rocket arm and the and the flight and everything and it just all came together so well and i like that there was iterations of the suit too that wasn't just you know and suit there was like the green suit first and then and then the red and his whole team of friends that also fight with him it was there's so much potential for this franchise but um i feel it was underrated and it didn't make it it made a lot of profit it was you know they made a lot it was only 160 165 million to make so it's a bit less than a normal animated movie which is normally 200 million so they made a good return on investment i don't know man they should make more i think
