the incredibles yes what's up it's jv and i'm back checking out the incredibles uh this is a all i know about this movie it's a animated superhero movie so i'm checking it out on google right now so it came it came out in 2014 it's a family comedy it's an hour like two hours long it got very well reviewed around tomatoes 97 and 90 on metacritic so people love it and i haven't seen it i've i've seen these characters around you know in pop culture and stuff but i haven't seen this movie so i'm really excited to check it out i know there's a part two but part i don't know why they didn't make a third one it's it's been so long so i don't know if they're gonna make a third one or not hopefully they do sometime soon and we'll get to react to it together but we're checking this out and the mr incredible no maybe he wasn't on his way to get married do they know each other really and then they're just faking that they don't know each other nah here he said he he's got time [Applause] i still got time [Music] sick shouldn't you be getting ready he's like crying there's so much crime and stuff and like all this stuff going wrong all the time what's that sound [Music] mime guy bomb voyage oh my god what is he doing oh he made a rocket boots sick about how i get around foot fast see i have these rocket boots that's really useful actually train this kid man he's got potential i work there's a bomb on your back buddy oh shoot the train tracks nope not yet train tracks crap elastic girl is gonna have to use her body as an elastic as a train track oh god he can't do anything super strength can't fix this oh okay maybe it can slow down oh spider-man style ice man where are you elastic girl oh for myself but i really gotta go but don't worry we'll get him eventually yeah cops you do you do something i think they they rely on him so much that they've kind of i know he was getting married yeah he's marrying uh elastic girl [Music] husband this is a flashback and then they're gonna go until nowadays as long as you're ready i don't know if they're gonna have kids yeah they have kids i saw them what could happen mr incredible turn of events a superhero is being sued for safety he saved his life in the legal battle sweet who was foiled in his attempted suicide by mr incredible was filed suit against the famed superhero in superior court oh come on days later another one was filed by the victims of the l train accident what the hell losses cost the government millions time for their secret identity to become there okay well then there's no superheroes then then all then die instead like what the hell i don't understand oh look at them now i'm sorry mister think about their coverage we just gotta be like everybody else so what happened to the super villains right our powers made us special everyone's special dash which is another way of saying no one is oh yeah true so the daughter i wonder what her power is invisibility telekinesis oh it is invisibility oh crap invisibility i was just i thought it was i because she's gothic kind of like you know like that's the blacks like hair and clothes i thought she'd be more uh i should be more uh telepathic got a mind power i think i'm thinking of raven from uh dc ah jeez oh man fold it back oh [Laughter] dash got sent to the office again good good no bob oh he's like not even present sent to the office again hey put please tell me they crime fight secretly that'd be awesome what if we actually did what our wives think we're doing just shake oh so he's like okay so they are doing it he's like if we keep doing this and then these people must be like snatching up superheroes or something stealing them and i don't know doing what with them extracting their abilities okay come on guys move move all right like all these people would have died like what the heck everyone's suing them okay get out now good job go oh no oh no water just getting a drink now don't tell me any someone's dead please oh holy froze the bullet too i'm still alive under there oh that's evidence yeah she knows i thought you'd be back by a left son's graduation it's not a graduation he is moving from the fourth grade to the fifth grade it's a ceremony it's psychotic they keep creating new ways oh they're both out cool oh this is such a like a messed up situation but that's okay because what's important is that mommy and i are always a team we're always united what do you do in this situation oh man i don't know i'm trying to think of solutions but okay why this guy's a good voice actor he's specific bob why are you i'm being metaphorical bob oh you know what i mean by cooperative cogs oh look at me when i'm talking to you well let's hope we don't cover up i'll be right back stop right now or you're fired what can't fire him for that not happy bob not happy he got away good thing too you were this close to losing your that's got to be his imagination right oh oh shoot holy oh my god he's gonna sue him oh crap yeah every time you say those words it means a month and a half of trouble for me bob it means hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars i know we got to pay to keep the company quiet we got to pay damages erase memories relocate your family every time it gets harder from now on you're on your own oh my god holy erase memories they gotta pay for everything erase man so the government covers for him every time all the lawsuits they said that in the beginning but that sucks oh i feel so sorry for this guy all of the superheroes what a messed up world like they just sue them every time but they would have died otherwise you know the train they would have died and then they're suing him for saving them you know things like that would actually happen in real life not all the time but so like there would be enough of it it's funny huh what dinner's ready okay shut up one minute if you have served your payment will be triple your current annual salary call the whole card you can listen to police scanners your choice you have 24 hours to respond think about it oh okay he's back baby come on be careful though he's back look how happy he is so his pay will be triple his annual salary whoa doing our part look at that i want to read all that stuff when i edit this or if i edit this look at all that world of superheroes and they got rid of it all threatening our facility we've had to evacuate it became sentient basically um yeah he's gonna destroy it look at this he's right back at it oh no he's too big let's turn it up here we go something's a foot man this isn't uh it's not as it seems wow whoa is that to let oh cool has like slow down propellers on it oh he can't get out why didn't they make it bigger they knew they were they were hiring him i wonder if he has super speed and like jumping abilities like the hulk he's tired because if you have super strength you would have super speed as well and jumping abilities you can just leap like like the hulk he's super fast i don't know the exact speed i think it's like 700 kilometers an hour he can run something like that it just makes sense right your arms wouldn't be the only thing that's strong your legs too but they don't always do that in uh shows or movies with super strength they did it in um cage luke cage he was like the fastest man in the world or something oh there it is [Music] oh okay so he's not invulnerable he can get cut pretty easily [Music] not enough didn't even dent it holy crap rip off its head oh it's analyzing his moves and predicting it's like a boss battle in a video game he is fast look how fast he can run holy crap jeez don't die yeah he can just die he can just get impaled and die like how quick like his skin got cut just so easily come on rip that thing oh oh destroyed it oh maybe not oh my god it can survive lava it's back holy crap jump oh if he just dunks him in lava right now oh oh oh i said to rip him in half what am so gruesome you're not supposed to destroy it well i guess it's not that smart got it oh okay it's kind of intact whoa jeez surprise so we're gonna see who hired him this guy's obviously the villain come on look at this little place lava and gigantic room with nothing in it whoa what in the world what is that door is it flowing lava or is that actually you look rather dash something else look at that look at that and he got paid so he doesn't have to worry about money for at least three years has anyone done a death battle for mr incredible they do really uh in-depth analysis on uh each hero's strength like they'll calculate the weight of of those things and like you know figure it out he's losing weight oh she did all the superhero outfits oh well another day oh his cape got stuck escape snagged on a missile april 23rd oh seven cape cod and a jet turbine hmm you can't generalize about this elevator dinosaur into a vortex knuckles are they all dying jeez you're the best of the best also she's still gonna make it i know those stairs did all those guys die or just get injured come on she flew got sucked into the engine of the plane did the plane go down too oh she's gonna think he's having an affair how soon can you get here i'll leave tomorrow morning see you there goodbye oh crap who was that honey the uh office another conference i'll call you when i get there i love you so much i love you too these guys are great voice actors like it's so believable that i almost forget that i'm watching a like animated thing like they're so good it seems so like real thanks oh that's his new suit i didn't even notice oh crap cool i've seen that suit everywhere halloween in the office kevin was mr incredible one year whoa holy crap oh my god it parted the waterfall what in the world this is so elaborate where are they going could you just get a regular come in one hour darling i insist okay okay goodbye okay okay goodbye is he gonna meet the boss guy the bad guy i wonder if usually it's a character we've seen before sometimes it's not and then it kind of throws you for a loop when it's like wait we haven't even seen this guy before who the heck is he [Music] a few super difficult but you are worth it bloody after all i am your biggest fan buddy i was wrong to treat you that way i'm sorry now you respect me because i'm a threat it's too late now just a quick light strips everywhere man this movie was ahead of its time everybody's doing light strips now huh that's like foreshadowing jack jack that was for jack jack okay your boy is sort of designing whoa enormous friction without heating up or wearing out what this is like some kind of prophet or something or like you know she reminds me of uh morpheus or um the oracle from the matrix [Music] oh oh you just hear the when he threw it the heat and then like what and then oh that was so cool all the attention to detail is insane like you know the super villains from james bond like very inspired by that like the 70s ovals and like it i don't know just gives me that vibe like a bond villain mixed with new tech you know holy crap there's a wallpaper oh oh she didn't even see how could you not see that go go go that is actual lava holy crap oh my god it's a good idea for like securities purposes deceased wow prototype oh and then oh geez and they kept iterating on it it killed him hypershock and then that killed hypershock holy crap it's killed all of these guys holy gamma jack oh my god all his friends how morbid is this this is not morbid but like this is not like a fully kids movie you know like it's i guess kids wouldn't really know right like they're not showing the deaths whoa and then he's gonna need him until launch inspirations for sure oh crap [Music] intruder alert look at all those guns oh oh no it's sticky it's like superhero uh weaponry you know like oh god oh he can't get out of this oh then stick him if you were if you were to try and capture the hulk you would do something like this you are elastigirl is this a question you will show him you remember that he is mr incredible and you will remind him who you are well you know where he is go confront the problem fight win yeah confront the problem bring your suit bring it hey what's that where'd you get that oh did you already grab it [Laughter] yeah he's going to be dressed in it right away ha ha these look turns on them there you go uh well this was 2004 so it didn't always happen yet oh he's sad because his family he thinks his family is dead turn yourself into a boat and then have a kid kick let me go close second there you go [Applause] he's not tired at all [Music] what the what's this more super villains oh my god [Music] a war on peace and happiness [Applause] whoa that was incredible that was really really good jack jack i forgot him with jack jack oh wow okay i love that okay so i don't know if there's more i'll put that i'll keep i'll keep it going recently i've been watching a lot of dreamworks films kung fu panda and how to train your dragon has been killing it like nothing has come close it's like i made the mistake of watching the best and then like now i'm watching all the old stuff but this is right up there with those movies this is so good and everyone's personal preference right i love superhero stuff so i'm gonna have an affinity for this type of movie but and now i have a family and i have two little kids and and um yeah it's just really relatable to me so it was so good the the aesthetic of the bond villain style in there with um what's his name uh syndrome and how he was like wronged well he wanted to be mr incredibles sidekick buddy and then he like kind of brushed him off he worked alone back then and the whole thing with superheroes being outlawed because they kept getting sued and the government kept having to pay for all the lawsuits and then they just like said okay no more superheroes like you can't do this anymore that was interesting because in the marvel universe they explore that a similar thing with the um sokovia accords i think they're called with superheroes having to register and then being sent out by like an organization and then some superheroes not wanting to to do that and there was like the whole civil war thing that happened so it would be a real thing like if there was superheroes they would have to be held accountable like they couldn't just destroy like to save someone they'd what if they have to go through a building and then save that person but what about the wall damage you know like who's gonna pay for that so these things are cool and how they mixed it into a whole movie with his family and he was so mr incredible was so sad because he couldn't do what he was meant to do like he couldn't fight crime anymore and help people he worked in that insurance office and he was so upset and sad and when he finally got this opportunity but it turned out to be syndrome it was just so well done it was really good and this was two hours usually they're like an hour and a half and for 2004 for this animation and the just everything about it was like it could come out right now and still hold up like people will go out to theaters and be amazed at this movie now because a lot of it was ahead of its time too i feel and you see you're seeing a lot of superhero stuff emulate this like these topics in these situations and stuff and it was a cool thing i've never seen before with a family dynamic of of husband and wife being old superheroes and having to deal with that and having kids that also have powers and having to deal with that and then having to hide it and try and survive and live in society without showing it and samuel l jackson added a nice uh a touch of comedy and he was his best friend and they're reliving the glory days it was so it was just it was it was really good i'm really hoping the second one is as good as this or hopefully better i don't know why there's not a third maybe the second one wasn't that good but this was so well done and i'm really curious as to why they haven't done more and i'm kind of sad like it has so much potential for a whole universe like it could be a whole thing it can have spin-offs and it could have its own its own cinematic universe type thing um just this the music the sound design um the acting the voice acting of all the characters were brilliant the animation the facial animation um it was just so good the villain was really was cool like you've seen that type of villain before the one that was wronged by the the main protag the main protagonist and turns into the villain but they did it in a clever way in this movie so and then surprise with jack jack at the end he can like apparently so he turned he did uh he turned like he'd he was all flames like a human torch and then he turned into like metal so you can density shift and he could change like elements with like he could do like a colossus type thing with like his his metal thing and he could transform into this like red beast type like he has so many abilities those three in that one shot so when he grows up he could be potentially the most powerful uh superhero on the whole show so on the whole in the whole movie i wish it was a show damn it but i hopefully in the second one we'll see jack jack grow up a bit but he might be op but we'll see what they do are they going to keep him a baby is it going to be like four or five years later 10 years later i want to find out but i love this movie let me know what you guys thought in the
