out how to train your dragon welcome back to jv's galactic adventure this is my channel where i watch movies and tv shows but mostly movies the kung fu panda i watched that recently and that's been going amazing you guys have been giving me a ton of feedback i'm on the second one currently i'm about to watch the third one either later today or tomorrow so subscribe for that because that's going to be coming out pretty soon and but we're checking out how to train your dragon it's the 2010 film it's got 99 on rotten tomatoes which is crazy there's another dreamworks animated film so from the kung fu panda comments you guys are saying i'm like what else should i do and then you guys uh suggested how to train your dragon and i asked again and you guys said yes do it do it so and this is north of hopeless and been here for seven generations but every single building is new what the only problems are the passes whoa holy crap oh dragons dragons what the hell people would leave so that's why the buildings are new hiccup okay that's stoic the vast chief of the tribe stoic the vast and hiccup oh geez threw that thing at it i thought you've been carried off oh this wow oh he's blacksmith apprentice that's um the guy from 300. and this guy hiccup he's a canadian actor that's cool it's like the slow motion explosion if you ever want to get out there to fight dragons you need to stop all this what you just keeping this much raw viking-ness contained there will be consequences there'll be consequences whoa that was like blue and purple flames this thing never steals food never shows itself and oh my god that's why i'm gonna be the first okay knight fury that's gonna be his dragon or something or he's gonna kill that one hiccup oh he's so he's an inventor kind of he he instead of fighting physically he invents gadgets and stuff wow oh my god sick you should make a ton of these things and they could defend their village whoa you get it he got it oh my god okay good his dad came is that his dad i'm guessing it has to be unless they said it already but it's obvious yeah that's my dad it's it's yeah it's super obvious because it's summer yeah i knew it i knew it it's so yeah he's so big and like there's huge viking i've never seen anyone mess up that badly that helped thank you thank you i was trying so it was that the guy from super bad excuse me barmaid i'm afraid you brought me the wrong offspring this here this is a talking fishbone that's pretty good invitation it's what's inside that he can't stand thank you for summing that up stop trying so hard to be something you're not i just want to be one of you guys he's got to build gadgets and stuff that's his talent right deal raises sharp blades lots of time to himself what could possibly go wrong arms so he keeps changing it different things even as a boy i knew what i was what i had to become hiccup is not that boy you can't stop him stoic you can only prepare him oh he's gonna go look for the nightwing is that what it's called i'm gonna write these down whoa it looks like my cat right what that's all he brought a little tiny debt knife how would he bring a sword in like armor and a shield it's been trapped all night i have brought down this mighty beast it's still alive it's not that big looks really cool oh look at him he's staring at him he just turns his head and shoots him with fire it'll be all over i am a viking that's not gonna do it no way it's like a snake look how small it is it's not that big cool his father was right he's like a dragon killer you're not whoa he let you go oh those eyes it's i don't know if it's a cat eye or snake eyes it reminds me of my cat so much those eyes but then it was like a snake [Music] i think it's time to fight dragons oh uh you no go first get your wish dragon training you start in the morning oh man i should have gone first [Laughter] oh man i should have gone first no more this you just gestured to all again the recruit who does best will win the honor of killing his first dragon hiccup already killed a night fury so disqualified he has all the stats like a pokemon or something or like a video game that sounds like the other guy from super bad um mclovin pick up oh my god pickup would have died dragon will always always go for the kill get back in there hiccup so why didn't you oh yeah he didn't kill him yeah yeah true he fell down over here somewhere so maybe he's still there oh oh i thought that was blood it looks like scales that's proof that's proof that you uh you shot one down bring some scales back no oh he's hurt he can't fly cool he's drawing it so smart oh his tail he's probably tired and hungry he can't fly the dragon manual everything we know about every dragon we know of dragon manual they don't have the wait the night read the night shade why read words when you can just kill the stuff the words tell you stuff about you guys read i'll go kill i'll go kill stuff oh all mine then wow so uh okay i'll see you uh oh man they really don't like him there's no friends at all yeah we saw those phone napper bowling napper death night fury night fury the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself never engage this dragon hide and pray it does not find you wow sick he's got it crap what did he say fury night fury i keep putting nightshade i don't know why night fury it's all unknown so these expeditions go out all the time but sometimes a lot of the times they don't come back the barnacles on the ship those are small ships not much room to do anything what oh your job is to be quicker that matters whoa geez they shoot spikes oh shoot hiccup oh watch out babe i'll take care of this it even laughed at him the dragon laughed at him knocking everything over now's not the time come on is this some kind of a joke to you them that's a good way to get him on your side he's like a cat he's so like a cat he pounces and stuff look at him and the the shoulder shimmy he's like a freaking cat don't don't don't put the knife away whoa wow so if it detects hostility it'll go into attack mode it could put its teeth away i could have sworn you had oh retract his teeth don't eat don't eat him i don't have any more still hungry oh he's giving him half [Laughter] he's sharing with him oh gross is he gonna have to what oh no he's gonna have to eat it [Music] keep going oh swallow it why what oh he's trying to smile what the heck is that smart created like a warm spot the ears perk up don't touch the tail cats don't like that i know he's not a cat but cat like what he sleeps upside down like a bat okay so it's a mixture of different animals sleeps upside down like a bat that's so cool cool is sketching him he's trying to try what he's he's so he's like really intelligent he's not like uh any type of animal that we have you have to go up high to see this right oh it's just a scribble i thought it was gonna be some masterpiece come on come on let him pet your head oh so cool they're bonding if it can't fly it can't get away a downed dragon is a dead dragon oh what is he doing writing down as much info as he can oh he's drawing pictures of it too oh he's gonna smith like uh part of the part of his wing that's missing or his tail that's missing cool so his blacksmith skills come in handy here smelting and making gears and i hope you're hungry they brought a ton of fish no eel all right all right okay how is he gonna get a hold of his tail there's no way he's gonna let him hold it come on come on oh he's all out already up he feels it he's like what the hell are you doing to my tail oh god hold on oh he's still trying to fix it open it up there we go it's working whoa you can steer him from the tail yes i did it how are you gonna get down i gotta work on that it's not gonna work just like how how it is now one head breathes gas smoke screen lights oh my god it's flammable gas [Applause] which one is that oh that's the gas one there's a fire look out oh damn it hiccup is gonna light that once he lights it it's over what the heck now think about what you've done oh eel they don't like eels oh my god that was so smart wow that is very useful for the village if they don't like eels that much and it's not just one dragon it's all dragons they don't like eels what is that saddle he's gonna ride him oh my god oh how to train your dragon okay so it's gonna be him training this dragon the whole time damn it it took me that long to figure it out train how to train your dragon okay although like cats love fresh grass cats go crazy well not all cats but you know sometimes they like like to rub around in grass under the chin he's learning so much he's like a dragon whisperer like a laser like a little laser what the it's like [Applause] there we go wow holy we made a whole apparatus oh nice training oh what the heck he brought him there that's so dangerous hiccup they're gonna oh astrid hey oh he's attached like he's stuck go go go get out of there oh my gosh this movie's so good so far and they got jacked up at least they're still alive oh there's only one ship that came back wow we're gonna take this nice and slow so this is the finished version of it oh and he's got like different things to like steer it so smart so he'll never be able to fly on his own whoa god the g-forces oh look out oh come on come on oh no oh oh crap the tether came off oh no he's spinning oh oh oh my god okay he's still awake i thought it was knocked out get on it pull up pull up [Music] whoa [Laughter] you gotta let go of that thing man yeah [Music] holy oh oh this is awesome wow that's stealing a fish not so fireproof on the inside are you that's so fireproof on the inside so there's a little another uh tip everything we know about you guys it's wrong the the the things the cats do that like you know the vibration thing so they're tameable highly tame of all looks like see how they feed them and that's it let's talk about that dragon what i was hoping for this ah about that dragon what is he what does he think uncle head on a spear what the feeling oh he gets to kill his first dragon in front of the whole town and he's not going to want to do it odin it was rough i almost gave up on you and all the while you were holding out on me oh we finally have something to talk about are you so excited he thinks his son is like has stuff in common with him oh look at him and he's totally opposite thanks ah your mother would have wanted you to have it it's half of her breastplate set keeps her keeps her close you know oh his his mom died good okay good talk yeah uh it's so awkward between them too the first hat the hot he's trying right the father good night his father's watching at least he can hold the axe easily now couldn't even hold it hold it up before he's getting stronger he already has it down pick up one what the heck is he gonna do now he's not gonna want to kill it leaving we're leaving oh let's pack up oh shoot what the heck she's here i want to know what's going on no one just gets as good as you do yeah you're right you're right you're right yeah i i'm through with the line put the put the ax down no weapons that's for the lies oh for everything else chill calm down you just scared him i scared him astrid toothless oh he calls him astrid he's got teeth toothless [Music] get me down from here you have to give me a chance to explain let me give you a freedom ah he hates it oh she better hold on [Music] she's falling off oh no oh jeez let's go oh dunk though [Laughter] wow okay there we go oh my god cool the clouds wow so awesome i love what the animators do like how they make it look so nice and realistic and like that wow all the what's it called northern lights aurora borealis your final exam is tomorrow you know you're gonna have to kill a dragon oh don't remind me what what what what he's all alert oh shoot oh my god there's so many of them whoa what did he fly into so the nest they're going to the nest he's going to find out where the nest is but he's not going to want to kill them why they're dropping it but my dad wouldn't give to find this yeah exactly but what are they oh it's like a i don't know i don't know what's going on why they're dropping it in there maybe they just leave food there and then they all go out and get more food and they just bring food back uh little tiny fish what is that i eat them all right buddy we gotta get out of here eating them like eating other dragons it's like a giant beehive they're the workers and that's their queen oh who controls them it's like a beehive they're like a mixture of a ton of different animals like i said at the beginning the thing we've been after since vikings the queen doesn't eat the worker bees to protect your pet dragon are you serious yes he's serious look at him give me until tomorrow i'll figure something out yeah he's smart you can think you can think this out that's for kidnapping me that's for everything else she likes him [Music] what are you looking at today he becomes one of us tonight we dine what are you gonna do leonidas that yeah that's his name i have him back there actually one of the kind i don't know if you can see it he's gonna have to fight that fire one that lights itself on fire so it's not fireproof from the inside whoa it's already on fire whoa kill the audience okay so it's not always on fire madness so they're really gonna see how it happens if you're not hostile towards them they should calm down a little bit i'm not one of them stop the fight no no i need you all to see this we don't have to kill them what oh crap he's going against like his tradition so he can't accept it or he's afraid his son is gonna die i'm not sure go go go go toothless yes yeah fight him dragon versus dragon yeah beauty night fury come on toothless his his flying apparatus might get broken oh he's protecting him yeah yes no no no no go go no no oh shoot no they're gonna subdue him don't hurt him the dragon that's what you're worried about yeah man people you almost killed no no he was protecting him snake killed hundreds of us and we've killed thousands of that something else on their island dad it's it's a dragon like an island oh she all he heard was he knows where they are toothless dead only a dragon can find the island oh no no no dad please he never listens to him for what's in your life would you please just listen to me you've thrown your lord in with them you're not a viking you're not my son oh oh god look at him he like oh that's so cool how he just like she was so just emotionally distraught that he like stumbled back a bit the attention to detail in these are just on another level but he won't listen to hiccup that's his biggest problem he just won't listen to everything he's saying there's a gigantic dragon here that they can't kill there's nothing they can do to kill that dragon [Music] toothless look what they're putting him through gotta get him out of there i don't know how but lead us home endeavor so his father has seen hundreds of people die including his wife so that's why he's so adamant on killing them he can't see anything or listen to anything else he just sees them as the enemy generations and generations you know like it's not easy to switch you must feel horrible you've lost everything why couldn't i have killed that dragon when i found him in the woods the rest of us would have done it so why didn't you toothless is uh it's different i couldn't i was a coward i was weak i wouldn't kill a dragon 300 years and i'm the first viking who wouldn't kill a dragon first to ride one though oh yeah the first to ride a dragon i wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as i was i looked at him and i saw myself what are you gonna do about it i gotta save him probably something stupid then something crazy hmm something stupid and something crazy what the heck are they going to do get a boat and go after them they have to there's no other way oh whoa it's like uh they can't help themselves it's like a freaking radar when they get close they automatically like get drawn in kind of like a like a auto pilot landing in a video game i love this plan i didn't you're crazy i like that so what is the plan the twin likes them it sounds like two of the voi the two of the kids are voiced by the same actor what's his name again seth rogen no the guy from super bad i can't remember his name we actually met him in new york but he was really mean to us he didn't want to he wasn't that mean he just wasn't in the mood to talk to fans oh i saw a tail oh he's gonna train the other ones so fast how to train your dragon wow okay all hell is gonna break loose and my undies good thing i brought extras i like that the women fight alongside you know they're just as big as the men they have catapults and everything um whoa watch out dude holy what the hell what the running away looks like oh the big one's coming out yeah this is like nothing you've ever seen oh he's trying to break out he's scared [Music] pick hiccup tried to warn you he's coming out get clear how big is this thing oh my god holy jesus he's so big he's as big as the mountain in his tiny wings he can't fly at least i wasn't gonna do anything he's got like six eyes you can't fight it toothless get him out he purposely burned the the boats then i can double that they're gonna go together what is eating people nice throw whoa yes they're here yeah yes awesome all the twins are on the same one wow yeah dragon large riders relies on hearing and smell okay laugh legs hang it nice shot limit oh everything they learned in school and the tech guy kind of knows like all the stats and how to break them down keep it distracted shoot that was like three or four shots i lost track oh cause that's uh three eyes on each side get toothless she's gonna take that one and you take toothless pick up go help the others how are you gonna get him out of there though you don't have the keys this thing is like a boss battle man the god of war but i haven't played god of war but i've seen some stuff on it the shield i've lost power on the grunkle oh it's tired oh okay what happened to it it's smashing his eyes oh no oh my god oh shoot oh shoot come on hiccup get him what are you gonna do you can't do anything oh no that's not gonna work his dad go back and help uh toothless he's going to help him oh my god are you kidding me i can't take this this is too awesome oh man so good [Music] i'm proud to call you my son thanks dad that was a nice moment whoo yes oh he's sucking him in sucking her in oh no shoot him in the mouth shoot him in the mouth he's not violent proof from the inside yes couple more shots yeah i got her uh look where you're going okay yes yeah toothless shoot it again whoa ho ho toothless fireball is so freaking powerful and knocked it over holy okay it's got giant wings they weren't as small as i thought take him to the sky take him up bigger they are the harder they fall oh no whoa look at the smoke effects the fire and smoke wow look like shmog i need his benedict cumberbatch to voice him if he could talk imagine that shot its wing shoot it swing so it's false toothless might have a shot limit though yeah hit its wing so it falls wow they can't see they just see like the flashes it's freaking out it's freaking out it's when the oh when the boss goes into oh no oh no oh no he's steering stuff he didn't break his wings you need to put that fire out all the it's not oh no it bro it broke oh yes it's not fireproof from the inside whoa the whole thing is blowing up go go go go go oh no no oh no there's part two and three he can't die look into the fire oh my gosh son he's underneath him right he's underneath he's got to be he's under the wing even the dragons are there to look i'm so sorry he's under don't worry i could come on yeah reveal he's alive he's alive you brought him back alive [Music] man so freaking good i can't believe it thank you for saving my son well you know most of them don't break everything you lost this what oh his leg wow holy crap so how toothless is missing part of his tail now he's just missing part of his leg [Laughter] oh my gosh they're gonna cohabitate with the dragon no but you gave it your best shot turns out all we needed was a little word this you just gestured all of me yeah well that's for scaring me well what what was it always going to be this way cause [Music] i could get used to it night fury oh he's got looking hooks in now and he can steer it whoa cool it's red and there's a symbol on it oh my god that's so awesome any food that grows here is tough and tasteless the people that grow here are even more so tough and tasteless we got a lot of fish though are the pets wow how to train your dragon is that it oh okay okay oh my god that was amazing that was absolutely amazing um yeah that was so good the uh okay so the beginning was good but again the third act just blew me away so the connection it just it so they're really good in the dreamworks films at like setting up for the the third act i i feel like the setup portion and developing the characters and the story and getting to know who hiccup is and introducing um toothless and their bond and then showing like how the the viking town was so traditional in being vikings right they all fight they all dragons were the enemy and that's the only thing that mattered his father was like the the leader of the town and and it was obvious that the big father has the little the the son that's nothing like him but it wasn't just like a traditional like i thought it was gonna be the son is the smart like tech guy and he like builds gadgets to take down dragons it was like completely they spun it even more where yeah he was tech savvy he was able to figure out things and use his blacksmithing skills to make cool gadgets and stuff but also there was a side of him that was very compassionate compassionate and when he was gonna kill toothless when he finally like trapped him was gonna change his life when he was about to kill him he saw that twothis was just as afraid of him as he was of the dragon so that was kind of you know changed his mind and helped him to free him and then that whole thing happened and his special ability his skill his like was his compassion and his ability to like to train the dragons instead so he was kind of like this dragon trainer and he was the first and it was it was really nice when astrid was like trying to peplock him back into it and then she's like i'm i screwed it up i'm that was the first that wouldn't kill the dragon and then she's like wouldn't and you're the first to ride a dragon so like it kind of brought him back to like this new era in this this viking town you know seven generations of this war going on with the dragons and if you just stop for a second and you know instead of constantly fighting listen to what their the dragons were doing and be more aware kind of like what the with uh the father and son with um with uh stoic and hiccup how stoic never listened to anything that hiccup had to say and hiccup was trying to tell him the whole time like listen to me but he wouldn't listen so they carried that over to the dragons as well like the dragons were being forced to to get all that food he was being forced to steal the food from the village by this elder this huge dragon this like elder dragon and if they didn't bring enough food back they get killed so once they once the vikings kind of well if the vikings knew that they would have you know tried to help the dragons and free them but um they finally killed the elder dragon and then all the other dragons were free and then they got to co hat cohabitate with the dragons that whole town and i'm just curious about the second movie now because they're gonna be able to they're gonna be this viking village with dragons and it's gonna be just amazing i don't know where it's gonna go if they're gonna have to fight anyone else or what but what an interesting uh story it's just and the way it ended and that the fact that there's two more i'm just thinking of all these different possibilities of what the next movies could be toothless was amazing toothless reminds me of my cat i have a black cat i might do a skit with her at the beginning of the video i do the skits after i watch the movie so um yeah she reminds me of a cat and uh he reminds me of a cat toothless it's a mix of a bunch of things i saw like a cat snake a bat a bunch like an eagle a bunch of cool different things all mixed in and um the voice acting was great the main voice actor playing hookup wasn't was awesome i know he's a canadian actor i recognize his voice he's done some canadian shows i'm canadian by the way done some canadian shows um and the other guys the cast from super bad it was sounding like they were in it too uh yeah just leonidas from 300 as the father and then the end how hiccup lost his hit part of his leg so it was also like a story of uh like disability you know like disabilities and and how people with disabilities are you know it's just everything it had everything toothless was just had a disability and now hiccup has a disability but together they're an amazing team and they accomplished so much and they saved the town and they saved all the dragons it was amazing i was so emotional with the father accepting that toothless was was there to help his son and when the father went into to save toothless that got me so much and then the little pep talk that they had so cool i didn't expect it to be this good i keep saying that but you guys keep recommending these amazing
