Betty Bussey on Bubba's new BMW - Rick & Bubba Show

yesterday we had to spend a lot of time together had to go out and check on some locations from potential live broadcast in the future and had to meet with some clients and and spent some time together Bubba and I got to say that I was a little taken back when when I looked up and and Chaz Bono was driving somebody some of you computer people please put him in yes we had Chaz Bono's bought it on 280 in Birmingham yesterday well I walked up and I saw this this this convertible and I thought well I thought bubbles gonna meet me here and I kept looking around for you couldn't find you and then I look you're in it brick buh-buh-buh-buh-buh buhbuh um yeah you know it's really probably a little out of character for me but as you talked about earlier we don't have a company car right now and I was forced to do something I haven't had to do and probably 10 years and that's my car uh so I got to do every bottle and I tell you something free automobiles are very addictive yeah I mean really that's that's one of the cooler perks that in pizza yeah so but uh so it's uh so you're driving around in a sports car convertible I'm driving a Southern Comfort conversion but right which see I love that van and there's been many times I went I'll call Rick's if he let me borrow let's just you don't farm people's cars that's like using the shoes yeah but you know you look at my past vehicle history in in recent times truck truck minivan okay convertible it just it doesn't seem to go with the you know the last two of Bentley I know you started at at a convenient time you went through the sports car thing once before right yeah yeah back before your children right right and and that had to go away and yeah I had a what was it it was a nice on your - it was a Mitsubishi no no Barrymore that tree but I'm going way back to Kali was the odds-on back recent like like that that was yeah I had a Miss abyss she what was the bigger one I can't remember the name down said it was the big 3000 yeah yeah yeah yeah I had emerald green I mean I remember we had to pry it away from you with your children right yeah it became impractical with you know baby seats sound like this yeah and I had I had I had a sports car to prior it was a Nissan 282 Plus remember it yeah yeah I'm just saying you've had a little sports car oh yeah you know but I'm talking to you I'm not a big car guy never happen I don't you know when people say look saws engines it gotta go I don't know I don't mean I don't know what he's got pretty good how what kind of horsepower you got out of the hood I don't know it'll go but I don't know um how much you want for it like I said yeah I was one money on that so uh yeah I don't know I went out looking for an SUV type thing and an ended up with a convertible sports car it's kind of odd I know he's definitely an apples to orange transition as a matter of fact I talked to one of the sales people I talked to he said well that's not exactly what you were looking for I said no it wasn't at the time right now what drew you to what make what what made you pull the trigger I don't know Tony look good driving it man I don't know well you have finally completed I'll say this when I saw you in your state with the top down like you liked it yeah we sunglasses own and you want hair voting win village by the way owned me but you by the way he I thought to myself if he'll just tie sweater around this he around his shoulders he's headed to the tents cool headed straight to the racket club right to the racket club he goes yes err you let me tell you my first brush with it cuz I'm usually the first one here okay we're the parking day first brush wet yeah that looked remembering I'm not saying cuz we all Bubba had a week of hey I'm wearing a cap every day um you know he was dressing down you know so I was just relaxing dressing nails yeah and what's that's great that's where all that he had he went through a good know what if does that mean there's weeks I dress up well technically technically but it's just but all of a sudden look at that I think I was out of hair gel he's been wearing a cap about every day the outfit you were wearing I put them under the category wysz your thunderstorm /ice warning out for you exactly yeah head on I'm so into war in depending on the war so I can't think exactly what day was but I'm down there in the deck and I look and here comes this Anil the tops of its convertible nice fan out Lena angle a break and I'm saying who is that coming in here because I'm the only one in the deck and I thought man I'll tell you they be the doctor from upstairs I said they're paying these cleanup guys pretty well around here get a vehicle like that and uh obviously the windows are kind of dark and I'm looking also that window goes down and listen now night window hunting cap on no he had that hair like he liked it wasn't out of place that is covered in shirt on almost stuck the Eva doses you can get FEMA dooms clothes whatever it should be cava what is that any evidences of golf collars will see I don't play golf because I don't care okay just keep her calm $45 phone anyway and hearing it's like music was playing behind a bistro he went from I got my Ricky and Bubba hunting orange cap on in a pair of sweatpants until I'm in my bad ride and I'm looking sharp that's Rick he bought it because he looked sharpen oh yeah that's it now let's go back to my first encounter I am on one of the busiest streets in the city all right we had just gone to two different locations and had and had a great time but it was just it was a long day we still had a lot of day left and and I and I come out and I look and and I'm turning and to my right there's about three lanes on this busy busy road and there's just people going by going by going by going by whether the light turns red and our sudden I just see it coming from my background I get your attention and here it comes and here comes this this this just convertible just sparkling okay when da wind is down sunroof not sunroof but soft top down alright oh yeah well you got to get it down yeah wait Pharaoh's and Bubba is is ten and two I tend to and he's just looking over at me and smiling and says hey like that and I could not stop laughing for half a day when I was scraped commercial for that break yes I couldn't believe what I was seeing and your Agri heat it's like he has not gone to the Kapiti yeah night when he when he walks different really he's got a West Coast strut about yeah well first of all you'd blow off I didn't know anywhere I had ok and second of all would not go right let me let me let me let you peer into my world because I mean we really he didn't even look sleepy when he broke down when he didn't even look sleepy we've been doing this 16 years xiety and we all know we all know each other like a book I knew something was up when this kept happening hey man um so what are you gonna do yeah I think I'm just gonna drive the van you know it's paid for it sits at the house it's awful big hmm so you just gonna drive it man yeah I probably would for a while they'd drop by the 6 n again what are you gonna do about this nope hey what and what I realize is alright he's wanting to do something he wants me to draft with doesn't know if I get change hey ma'am what do you think my doing I thought I I'm gonna do coach you're gonna do it I just think okay I I'm not digging on you this is straight up I thought you'd gotten Betty a car and you're just gonna get it worked on I thought what a Valentine's Day present yeah I appreciate her getting it for me yeah what a thanks honey look honey look what you bought me thank you no you knew nothing about it but look yeah hmm judge hunter Kalyn can fit in the back sure yeah that does have to scrunch up a little bit there okay I have to get Indian style you know make long trips I Chris got Chris Kyle cellphone apple sauce we're going to be yeah buddy yeah hey no eating it's it's a hey I'll meet you there yo run blocker I'm gonna leave early before y'all make sure the good point here there yeah I got it hey you know what he thinks he is nice man hey man hey I got your front door Betty's in snow man yeah watching little kids I'm all that stuff you hear at the beach in your SUV even ground for years oh I'll be bandit yeah jazz is out how did you how did you pull this off how did you sell this no listen I'm not sure he has mom I don't matter my vehicle was the older one so I was the I stagger him you know I don't try to get them both at the same time right I will give you this you you had put it over what 200 on your truck oh I've got probably under it like it's at 212 on the truck course this diesel let's go have to get 350 but I you know if I drove it every day well we did take a hit well that that's a I got to get a lot more out of well that's the thing I will event you have to deal with you know the Southern Comfort conversion van when we got it was solely because we had seven people in the family and we went on trips or going to church whatever we'd all get one vehicle there's sometimes Rick gosh I wish I had one of those buddy oh man this would be so great to pile up in and oh it's great but but it was mainly sitting for church and for long trees but I got over it and put my top down and just alone I saw so but back to your point about your truck and I'm trying to help you back to your point about your truck that van gave us no issues as long as it was only driven every now and then my concern now is it's become my everyday vehicle sure now you just asking for parking issues you're asking for trouble stuff so hopefully it'll it'll we will catch airplane to airport in yeah say that I think I picked a bad time at our house of saying we're paying off all dead I didn't lose my free car especially uh how about when you're trying to fall above them and you're not in one like that oh you can't keep well and foot no I've been letting it Coast and Germans really built one yeah you can't hide my knight never they never they never saw a piece of electronics they didn't go hey let's put it on the car years ago we were asked to be part of a promotion and and it was it was benefiting cancer research which we were all you know very much for right and yeah I'm your benefit in cancer research by boxcar Valley wait no I'm just telling you how this got started a remote I heard he bought it for the benefit of others yeah so uh there was a well-known brand and dealership that was behind this nationally and because I'd never I never even drove one of their cars before and it was I think the name of it was called drive for the Cure right so they was very nice cars of the name of just three letters yes yes out of Bavarian plane motorcycles - right yes and and they wanted us to take their cars their new cars right and drive them up and down the interstate for the mile for the benefit of per mile I mean they sit and you know really when that promotion came I said guys I don't wanna go do that I don't go drive cars all days I didn't know fun you know I don't want to do that and of course y'all lean yeah we need to do this gonna do this I swear just good cause it's a good cause I go I'll go I'm not gonna grow up I'm just gonna go on I love it and I'm gonna be very full but I didn't bobble I won't be there and I'm gonna support the cause yes because I believe in the cause right and you know I got there and then everybody started all coming you know they start putting keys in my pocket you know and pulling me to the car lady look we rode horses for big-oh between sounds the great goes dude so I you know I'm there because I'm supporting the cause but I know nothing so guy attacked by Kane I didn't buy a German ship and look Don Juan was in on this - I'm sorry Greg and he you know and they put me in him in a car and they you know it was a convertible they put the top down here make him dry and they told us to ride up and down the interstate well we got out there on the interstate and main that thing sure did drive good and you know we got to driving around having fun and I thought you know what that's pretty fun I see how people while they like you're driving sangs now yeah and I think you know I came back we were joking about it I said you know they call it the ultimate driving machine there's a reason they do it is very well that's kind of the roots of where they came in that was a great marketing thing only it got me and I've tried to avoid it I got it for a long time I got another I got another there how dare the Cancer Society yeah I got another idea what happened well Rick I know you know what it was great how are you feeling Bobby this is what must be the money you can't hide my Betty Betty did that we were just shooting a hide the fact I got to get to work well you know what Betty how that Tahoe yeah I'm trying to get it toss out of warranty Betty stop I think you can't hide the money because it's the whale hidden for me from how he's driving for the calls and I'm driving the curse Hunter was for 13 you know it's just now getting broke in good bet if you I know it if I can just not scratch up my leg on this broken up leather seat here y'all see me this summer with scratches all over my leg that's what happens it's not the Hat yeah not the cash system no god I wish you to hurt him convincing me why he should do it by the time he was done I thought this guy's just serving his family by getting his sports yeah yeah oh yeah he's serving the family yep he's serving it up on the tennis court driving it's ours now bad plate a little bit he said I got it no but he said he'll just meet you at the beach he'll go on by himself Yeah right at least he got one with a back seat I mean we weren't kind of toying around with the idea about getting one without a back seat until I reminded him of the children that happen you mean you mean him little playful living are ya all right everybody you in first Katelyn everybody in the trunk we go into the beach we can't have any luggage will stop your Thurmont gunnery and open let you get somewhere ready you know being married to an only child you do realize you'll never get in this car oh I know I know yeah I mentioned driving it yo picked hunter up the other day and I thought I you know you woulda thought I said let's cut our heads off and go jump in the river you know what babies my turtle wax you know what Betty why do you think you got one what he has always loved BMWs he's always loved them I mean at least 50 drove I guess it wasn't that time wait a minute no it you remember the dried a minute Betty hate isn't driving Xperia L going and driving these cars or whatever really miss out on me I gotta be you got to be careful how you look for the gear because I could hook you know it somehow sir surely Mercedes or somebody looking for a cure for something I mean really I mean like this is looking for a cure I think I might just go for that gold Oh help them at right Oh pepper my own in me I mean Bubba yeah I mean you realize what position you put yourself in here well somebody said the 2012 hours with support and diabetes I can't wait to listen to this over here for diabetes I mean for a long time so I'm gonna have all that yeah yeah I am and look Betty makes a good point her car is getting you know into the fourth quarter of its life and so evidently she didn't make that point quite well and she'll she'll be the next one we you know you're also a the next one yeah six years from now we can drive in our family again right well you know you alternate you can't you can't just get on everybody wanted one Tyler move I had two older one the higher mileage so little hundred 113 he'll be rolling in one here pretty quick yeah well we'll refurb the Tahoe for him yeah well Betty I know the old car had 20,000 more miles in mind so he had the higher mileage but you're not bitter it was close spell chat says he saw her support diabetes written below Rickon Bubba
