thank you for your love today we thank you for your mercies if it had not been for you where would we be today oh lord when we roll back the curtains of memory we remember how lord god you rescued us just in the nick of time so many times when we thought we would not have made it you rescued us just in time lord jesus we were sick and you healed our bodies sickness and pain that were unexplained the doctors could not tell us what caused it but lord jesus who healed us so many times we were without food without clothing and the lord made a way where there seemed to be no way we worship the name of the lord we worship the name of the lord hallelujah for you are worthy jesus we we glorify you we honor you jesus but there is none like you there is none above you and certainly jesus there is none beside you hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah i love you i love you i love you lord today because you care for me in such a special way and so i praise you i lift you up and i magnify your name [Music] that's why my heart is filled with praise my heart my mind my soul belongs to you you paid the price for me way back on calvary and so i praise you i lift you up i magnify your name [Music] thank you jesus hallelujah to god praise god hallelujah that's why my heart is filled with praise and this morning we have come to glorify god this morning we have come to give god the glory from the rising of the sun to the growing down of the same join with me as we repeat together in our usual manner from psalm 27 the lord is my light and my salvation whom shall i fear the lord is the strength of my life of whom shall i be afraid when the wicked even my enemies and my force came upon me to eat up my flesh they stumble and fell the one who should encamp against me my heart shall not fear no war should rise against me in this will i be confident one thing have i desired of the lord and that will i seek after that i may dwell in the house of the lord hallelujah to behold the beauty of the lord and to inquire in his temple for in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me he shall set me up on a rock and now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me therefore will i offer release tabernacle sacrifices of joy i will sing yea i will sing praises onto the lord hear o lord when i cry with my voice have mercy upon me and answer me when thou see a seek my face my heart sit unto thee thy face lord will i seek hide not thy face far from me put not thy servant to win anger for that what's been my help leave me not neither forsake me who god of my salvation when my father and my mother forsake me then the lord will take me up teach me thy way oh lord and lead me in a plain path because of my enemies the liver may not overrun to the will of for false weaknesses are risen up against me and such as breathal cruelty i had fainted unless i have believed to see the goodness of the lord in the land of the living wait on the lord be of good courage and he shall strengthen thy heart wait i say on the lord once again this morning we are encouraged by the word of god that if we wait on the lord that he will sure we are con we can affirm this morning that he is an untime god we can affirm and confirm that our god will show up just in time the someone says he may not come when you want him to come but he'll sure enough show up on time and so we wait with expectancy we wait encourage we wait in hope knowing that he who has promised us will not fail us will not forsake us will not abandon us so we wait in hope join with me as we repeat together our mission statement and our pledge if you are new to our church the mission statement guides the activities of our church and clearly outlines the mandate that god has given to us as a church to execute in this day and age it's projected on the screen to ask that you join me in reading we endeavor to love obey and serve our lord and savior jesus christ striving always to fulfill our purpose in making disciples of all men for the advancing of the kingdom of god on earth under the direction and power of the holy ghost and with an empowered people we will foster unity love and fellowship within the apostolic community in carrying out our mission we pledge to build god's kingdom through the ministries of apostle prophet evangelist pastor and teacher as we seek to rescue our fellowmen from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of life teach believers the word necessary for maturity growth and mission and prepare believers for the glorious appearing of jesus christ let us worship god today in spirit and in truth let us give god all the glory for he deserve every bit of it god bless you in jesus name blessed be the name of the lord we honor him this morning for his faithfulness we honor him for his true kindness and though we are not in the sanctuary we are in the presence of god and in the presence of god there is liberty jesus hallelujah thank you jesus our scripture this morning is taken from say matthew chapter 14 and i'll read in your hearing verses 22 to 33 in jesus name let us begin and straightway jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to go before him onto the other side while he sent his multitudes away and when he had sent the multitudes away he went up into a mountain apart to pray and when the evening was come he was there alone but the ship was now in the midst of the sea tossed with waves for the wind was contrary and in the fourth watch of the night jesus went unto them walking on the sea and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were troubled saying it is a spirit and they cried out for fear but straightway jesus spake unto them saying be of good chair it is i be not afraid and peter answered him and said lord if it be though be me come unto thee on the water and he said come and when peter was come down out of the ship he walked underwater to go to jesus but when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid and beginning to sing he cried saying lord save me and immediately jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him o thou of little faith wherefore did this though dot and the and when they were come into the ship the wind seized 33 then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him saying of a truth thou art the son of god here in death a portion of god's holy word we honor it by saying thanks be to god and the scripture said and immediately jesus stretched forth his hand blessed be the name of the lord when when peter cried out unto him and so we have a god that cares we have a god that we can we can lift our faith to him a god that's sympathizing in all our situations blessed be the name of the lord and our conquering lion of the tribe of judah oh god almighty we worship you this morning lord we lift you up high above the heavens lord god the heavens declare your glory and the earth show at your hand work lord jesus that's great is your faithfulness lord each morning you woke us up we see your greatness and your faithfulness lord god almighty as we come one more time in this fashion on this platform this morning lord we come just to worship you lord we ask you to wash us wash us no lord within without and the purge with fire is that must be oh god no matter how if only sin lord die out in us this morning oh god almighty we thank you lord for each and every person that is on this platform this morning we pray god almighty and we ask you that as our face differs lord jesus oh god almighty so our struggles and problems are differs lord god help us to know god that your promise you'll never leave us nor forsake us lord jesus my savior as the children of israel were crossing over to the other side and it seems that there is no hope lord but lord god you spoke to moses and said tell the people to stand still and see the salvation of the lord lord i believe this morning that you are telling us to stand still and see the salvation of the lord oh god almighty you're calling your people to be close and drawn to you lord oh god in this pandemic lord god lord jesus we are far away so you're calling us to come close to you lord jesus the whole world lord lord god is staggering but lord jesus i believe this morning that you need you want the world to know and to see that sin is ugly and we must step out of sin and come to you lord jesus my savior lord god you remains god and you never change lord god and nothing takes you by surprise so god almighty we come we come lord withholding nothing this morning lord god we have one desire just to worship you this morning oh god almighty we ask you to help us lord to see and to know that your coming is near lord god and you're calling us to be ready you're calling us to be ready lord to ready and stay ready lord god almighty because we can see lord god all the things that are happening in the world oh god even in our own nation jamaica god almighty we see the things that are happening lord jesus my savior but we pray this morning lord to help we ask you to help this morning because only you alone know how to help lord god almighty we pray this morning for the government that is in charge the security forces lord god almighty the jdf and all the security of this nation lord we pray for the doctors and the nurses and the teachers and the children oh god almighty lord god so many people are done with this pandemic down with this cove covey 19 but lord jesus everything is in your hands lord god almighty we pray especially this morning for the young people oh god oh god we pray for the young people this morning lord jesus that you will cover them lord cover them under your blood as you only you know how to cover them lord jesus help them to realize that your promises to them are sure lord god in whatever place you place them lord in the schools in the lord in the business places in their jobs help them to know god that you place them wherever they are for a reason lord jesus you place them lord to mix but lord you didn't place them there to mix up so help them to be this pet bird help them to stand up and defend your word lord lord in these last days lord they must know that they must stand up and defend your word lord jesus god almighty help them to be an example to their peers lord jesus my savior oh god almighty we pray lord for the teachers in the schools this morning lord god almighty some of them lord complain about your work lord but lord we ask you to touch their minds lord help them to put your confidence and their trust in you lord jesus my savior help them to know that without you they can do nothing lord god we thank you for them this morning take full control bless our pastor this morning lord jesus you know about the young man you know everything about him this morning lord jesus help him lord god almighty to know he must not take a step without you stepping with him hold his hands lord encourage his heart lord jesus god almighty help him lord god to know that your promises to him are sure you'll never leave now forsake him oh god jesus bless his wife and his children his entire family lord god almighty the entire church family we pray for each and every one this morning that you will keep us in your will and help us lord god lord jesus that we will not become careless lord god but to stand up lord in the face of adversity knowing that you are standing with us lord jesus bless all the ministers and everyone this morning we pray for a moderate a young from the book of saint matthew chapter 14. and keeping the topic is keeping your focus keep keeping your focus and when we ask you to keep your focus we're actually to keeping your focus on jesus keeping your focus and don't get distracted and carried away by all the things that are happening around us in this day and age there are so many things happening globally locally you know a personal life but we need to keep our focus on jesus christ we have to keep our focus of being safe we have to keep our focus of whistling and sin for keep our focus that jesus christ is coming back hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah so from the book of saint matthew we we we saw in the book of saint matthew 14 that jesus sent his disciple ahead of them i love him he went to pray and while they were on the ship in the fourth quarter jesus the bible said the storm the wave was tossed and the sea the mids of the sea and the toss and the waves and the wind was contrary but here come came jesus walking on the sea and as he came walking towards his disciple when they realized it was jesus the bible said that peter said unto him lord bid me come unto thee because before that when they saw him walking on the sea they were troubled in their spirit and they cried out for fear and they cried out for fear the bible said that jesus said be of good cheer it is i jesus is sure and the good thing is not sorry about that and the good thing is that when jesus said be of good cheer you don't need to worry jesus show up in the fourth watch and peter said unto him lord if it bid me come unto me and the bible said that peter started to walk towards jesus and as he walked the bible said that he saw that the wind oh lord was boisterous and when the wind began to when he saw the wind being burst he was afraid and then he began to sing and he cried saying lord save me and immediately jesus stretched forth his hands this well-known passage of scripture with peter walking on the water is well known to us what i want to look at is that it's verse verse 30 but when he saw the wind was boisterous he was afraid and begin to sing oh my god i want a zeroing on that verse you see peter was going on okay he was walking on the water and he was alright he he didn't even realize that by god it was even land he was on water walking and he i don't know how many steps he took whether he took 100 whether he walked a kilo or i don't know how far he had walked but the bible said he was walking underwater something impossible hi god but something in all of that happened is that the wind became boisterous and when he she focused from going to jesus to now start to look at the wind and concentrating on the wind the bible say he became afraid and when he became when he got free the bible look at verse he was afraid and beginning to sing so before that when he was not afraid he wasn't sinking he was walking by faith but when he start to think of the boisterous win hallelujah thank you jesus that's when he out we didn't used to think about corona and we didn't have to think of where is my mass and we have to turn back for our mass and we walk with mass in our handbag and in our pocket and one mouse in our cars and we have to go into a business place now we have to sanitize and walk with our alcohol hallelujah even the bank where you could not go with your face covered no you cover up your face and going into a bank i was downtown since week my god and i one of my co-worker was calling to me and i could even make out the face and the person now you have to drop your mask because sometimes you see piercings that you have known for years but because of the glasses and the mass you you can't even make them all so they have to remove the mass for you to know who it is oh hallelujah hallelujah our life has changed corona and this pandemic this pestilence this tears of life have become boisterous and we were walking like peter by faith going on in faith but guess what something happened going to change our fate situation arrives corona came oh lord this cove pandemic came and with it changed a lot of things how we live by god my god and so the winds and the wave was boisterous it was a fact that the wind was boisterous my god it wasn't a illusion it wasn't a figment of the imagination it was a reality they were out in the sea in the mid about the fort watch it was dark he was can't get to go and look for them my god our mind have now been crippled by fear if we sneeze we are saying my god wonder if it's corona if we cough it i mean sneezing and coughing now and and a temperature have brought is now bring fear into us my god almighty nervousness if you go somewhere in somebody's knees it's like your mind oh lord my god you're just in fear my god we are wondering how are we going to live the winds and the waves become boisterous and not only that that the crime rate has not gone down in all of this we are still faced with the crime we are still faced with murders we we woke up since we hear that one night four person was killed execution style oh god almighty jesus christ so in all of this we're hearing about kidnapping we're hearing about murder we're hearing about increase in our light bill for next month when some person is saying my god this lot long have caused me not to earn what is going to happen right even today is a no movement day and we are stuck at home in the name of jesus in the name of jesus in the name of jesus sometimes we are free to answer the phone because i don't know but when we hear the phone it's somebody die somebody have coveted somebody sip this oh lord jesus and it's not only in in our neighborhood in our workplace and it has brought fear no like peter with the boisterous wind are we afraid and worried what are we going to do are we still going to walk towards jesus christ and so because of the boisterous wave his focus was shift and he started to concentrate on the wind instead of who he was going to he was walking to jesus but his focus now shift from ah jesus jesus who he was walking towards in the difficulty of underwater to what was happening around us and so the times are causing folks to drift from who we should be focusing on to our situation around us our focus is that must be on jesus jesus christ is who we are moving towards because this world is not our home we are living a life to live again we are living a life to be safe we are living a life to be ready for jesus christ and he's coming satan our messiah the reason we are living this life is that i want to be saved the reason why you are living this life is that you want to see jesus and to be ready for the rapture oh hallelujah but because of the boisterous win it will bring fear and doubt and unbelief in your life and scriptures that we used to believe like oh god the word of the lord said i'll never leave you now forsake you the seams are the boys just win have a leap back off of our mind and we are wondering lord how i'm gonna make it ah jesus christ oh lord my god trust in the lord now it's becoming difficult i said to somebody recently it was easy my god my god when we was talking and preaching about perilous time but living in perilous time is different from about talking about perilous time i don't know about you this morning but i realized that going through the process is different about hymnal and get a corner in my house in my bedroom and my veranda and still have church around the backyard at the side of the yard somewhere i still have to have a praise almighty god in the name of jesus it means that it don't matter i cannot go out as usual but i still have to realize more and more that the church of god is within me i don't know who i'm talking to this morning you now have to shot ah i don't you ever used to think of it but now i'm realizing that going through the process is different from the testimony at the end at the end of the testimony we know we now face the victory positivity rate and you hear who is sick and you have to go out i realize it's a different mindset so i realized going through the process is different from the end of the process the next thing i have to live each day to get to the end of the process and so to get to the end of the process i find out i have to take step by step but each step i have to ask god to renew my faith somebody needs
