[Music] welcome back to severe everything everybody today I'm cooking prime rib now I came across chefsteps YouTube channel and they are presenting it before and they like it that way a lot better but with my rack of lamb I didn't like it very much we prefer unsere so I'm putting it to the test let's do it so this is an almost eight pounds prime rib and I will be splitting it in half and cooking it two different ways one is going to be a pre seared exactly like the way chefsteps does it and the other one is not [Music] now that we got them cut let's go ahead and proceed one of them chefsteps way [Music] [Music] I'm trying to follow chefsteps as best as I can yeah I'm cooking up some rosemary and garlic and in the end adding some butter [Music] now that the searing is done let's continue with the seasoning first off I started with coarse salt the pan-fried rosemary and garlic and some freshly ground pepper now they're ready to go in the bag [Music] I am splitting half of the infused butter with this one and the rest on the other one now they are ready for the water bath I am cooking these prime ribs at 137 degrees Fahrenheit for six hours [Music] primates are ready let's take it out [Music] Ches touch did a great sauce just follow that recipe it's really good but I don't have that option here in the office we got to get back to work I'll put a link from the description below from chefsteps mama is salivating they smell so good we're gonna pet these babies dry and we're going to go outside and sear them let's do it [Music] they snow sucker we are so hungry let's cut him open right now [Music] all right stable attract so when I try the pre seared and without proceeding let's go for it in the soft and look at that super tender tender I mean I know it's gonna be good that's good all right so why it's so to be fair its primary it's gonna be good but what we're judging here really ninja is it this one is better or this one is better pre seared no preciate let's go for the other one tell me my brother this is very juicy guys do Nasir don't see her don't ever give me against chefsteps I'm going against everybody here don't you ever see about me okay no way guys I gotta try Paula I'm hungry today it's fantastic come on this prime rib it is fantastic that was pretty good let's try this one come on there's a huge the events this is so much better come on don't receive your prime rib I'm telling you and you saw everything I did this is a million times better than this one mark I tried pre-sear Wow the other one the better to do tiny I want my mom this one is really juice Wow is McMahon in a totally different do not pursue you me the seared one tastes good but this one is amazing a whole other level it's a lot softer a lot juicier and a lot tastier flavor talk about the flavor that's what I'm talking about a rebel man it's tastier these two fight all the time okay guys so here is the bottom line this is the pre seared one this is the unsere one the difference is this one here is tougher this one is a lot softer this one here is not as juicy as this one here and in regards to flavor this one here tastes a lot better so I definitely recommend unfortunately against chefsteps do not proceed your meat I hope you enjoyed the video if you do make sure to give it a thumbs up if you're not a subscriber make sure you subscribe for future videos thank you so much for watching I will see you on the next one bye bye yo that's an expensive Sanders bro that's a loser [Music]
