[Music] [Music] hi guys I thought this might wait camping for a change well as the name suggests this is going to be the best polish Levu on YouTube possibly on the internet possibly in the world just unfortunate that my packs so heavy as well so this will be plenty of breaks funnier stops plenty of water this is going to be a tough one guys just get into the campsite Wow it's about four miles I think I've done maybe yeah three four miles the stove itself weighs ten kilos and the backpack is probably about 20 to 25 kilos probably more like 25 so I've got plenty of breaks on the way here I need to go get some water cuz I've drunk I've drunk all the water out I have this water bottle fault it's 600 mil water bowl that was ballin I've drunk all of that and I've got one empty bottle so I brought me mini so your mini system that's attached to me bag still and it's probably about 10 minute walk to the water source so that's before I do anything else go get some water is about sweaters like that doesn't what anyway chuffing hard work all right so we'll get some water and then we'll come back and we'll just leave all the stuff here if anybody wants to come in and thickness and carry out that there can be my guess well guys just as I set the camera up to do this bit of video in on the tripod the camera ended up in the drink luckily it's still working but whether it continues to keep working remains to be seen so I hope you do get to see the whole of this video I mean the camera properly went in Fitness I've had to dry it off on the t-shirt so anyway yeah just collected some water like I said of drunk drunk everything I ate on the way in and so this is going to be boring as bit so I'll just continue and catch you guys in a bit well that's the water collected now the lens the viewfinder on the camera is beginning to fog up a little bit just gonna have to play by ear well the camera keeps working hopefully it will do all right let's head off back to camp with water all about and a half water now now with this Levu the way I've been done the mods are what have you on it it has to be home from a trees with a d-link at the top so I've got a lot for a superball brunch now got me eye on that one up there but I might not be as throw the rope that high anyway little offers equal branch and then we'll get this Laveau up so you can see exactly what I've done and all the box okay so the first job like I said maybe need a bit more weight on it I'm not sure I'm here the tuxes let me stop there but I arrived go for [ __ ] this check failed that's not it there we go chuckles it it's like I said this this is the booth I created modified built thanks from the center so there's no need for any poles so I'm getting out of the bag I'll get it strung up and I'll bring you back okay guys yes she's up now I've got to put some of your stuff inside get the bed salt without get the stove in it does need to breathe for a little bit because when this is dry out I'll fab sealed it recently like yesterday and put it in a dry bag stored it away when it was still wet so it needs to air a little bit obviously fab seal I think it's pliable so I don't really want to be having a stove in there that's hot when you know the folks it's still wet so I'm going to get all this stuff in and then I'll give you the Grand Tour okay so I'm almost office inside now I've got a full cut baby in there the stoves not running yet but I want to show them inside before I self distill them show you boy laughs so to begin with on the front cameras go pick you up I'll bring a bit closer in a minute once we've got one means if I'm gonna put links to everything that I'm using today in the description below if you want to do something similar got a few of the items I mean great except there's only one supplier on Amazon that may come in this size and weight foods come from America didn't take that long about two weeks I think it was a 60% said they're like gold dust Amazon maybe they'll be able to get the outside on the inside there's no the cleaning over to that way slightly it's kind of on the ground and level it's not really showing it off very well I'll take you around I'll show you out soft on ok so here's here's the zip system I was talking about don't you about all this this is just wax I've used beeswax and so your wax to wax everything in it and so on everything as you can see this knots great my sewing the only bit then me missus did was so ahem round the bottom scale show you that in a second so I've got one I've sold on the inside I've got that one that's a double double tubba you can just see that's up there and I've sold this one on the outside so most people are complaining about these ladoos being quite dark inside well the answer to that is to sell yourself some windows in this is just this green it's not very you can't see out with it very well but the idea is just to let a bit of light in so we've got one there we're going to come around the corner here on the back we have two just give you a shot close-up of that all this has been hand-sewn as well and wax so any white marks are on the tent once it's been heated up a few times it should seep into it a little bit better right so under here I don't if the camera is gonna be able to see it right I've got a big mesh bit in there she can just about make it out big now circle then I've sold a flap over it and I've got some wire to hold the flaps open just select a bit of ventilation and I've got two of them one one there and one there just sit around the side I've also got another ventilation hole round here just on the side under the window just below the window here and that's that's got a bit of alcohol there so I can hold it up like that just a little a little bit of a moor in ventilation because I don't want to be getting carbon monoxide poisoning when I'm inside don't want eyes so there's your the vent so we've got one window we've got two windows there and the vents we've got the stove Jack here so that will be like that you know in a short while when I put this the stove in there and another window on this side so coming back round to the doors there's the doors okay also concerning the doors I've sewn in a ground sheet as you can tell but I've left it here and I've put zip winds going over there now I've put a zip on this part of the door which is the skirt so that I can unzip that it's an open zip so it'll come right off the end and I can open that out and also that side so I can have the whole entire thing open open for one so sorry about the eleven zacapa thing right let's get inside so there's some of me tools me axe me saw me water under the bed plenty of storage under the bed so there's me pantry we have in there we're having rainbow trout later on with asparagus and a few mushrooms and put all sorts in their home and I've got a couple of hobgoblins there as well alright so now as we caught that I should have really taken the camera off the tripod to show you this so that's me suddenly a rucksack I can fit quite comfortably down their bed in wise I've just brought an inflatable mat with me that I'm going to put on the cot bed and my DD top quilt for my hammock that's all a box I reckon it's going to be pretty warm in here once this stove gets going so there's plenty of space here in case you're wondering what the the fire blanket is for down there that's to put on the on the floor when I want to get the stove in and there's the stove jack there which is you bolt these things in clubs in three parts and also pier I've put a little one of Max's old James when he was a little puppy it's got a little there little clip on it I've just sold that into the roof so you can tell that without a pole in here it is quite big you know just show you how that window what like I say the main the main thing for the windows is just a lot of and it does it does lining up so let's I'm gonna get well over there I've got me mist over me hurricane lamp and so I'm gonna get them to in but first of all I'm gonna close the door and see just how dark it is in here right okay guys so as you can see it is quite light in here like I say a lot of people have been complaining that the two the two dark but just put some spots of windows in it sort of man hours have gone into building this probably around about 100 hours sometimes working in the dark at night with a torch because the lighting is not really good in our house in the dining room which is the only place in the house where I could do it which was big enough for this amount of material you have to be all over the place mrs. was pulling around out few times with me but it's done now as well I've so on the ground sheet in with the silver side up just to reflect a little bit more light that's the only reason so let's get this stove in now and oh it's been hard work get the stove in it looks like it's gonna start raining so I think tonight it will rave but we need to get some firewood obviously so I'm gonna lay the fire fire blanket out and now which is I think it's a meter by a meter one this one again mixing the descriptions below and let's get some firewood firewood sorted out for the later on I've left the ground sheets not only it serves two purposes not having its own all the way around at the front if it's particularly muddy you could just peel back the ground sheet at the front door and put your muddy boots down there and obviously you can start the stack logs there if you wanted to but I'm I'm thinking it's a door I might need to get out you know in a rush so I'm gonna stop put the logs down wear my gloves and the the fire blanket is so yeah I hope you enjoying the video so far it's been a labor of love making this think it really has but now it's done night table ceiling I did run out I used two liters in one of them spray the hose lock pressurized spray bottle thing again links in the description yeah I used two liters and I kind of ran out how about there was about a quarter left to do so they've been in storage for a while these this the issue date with this with these with one of these was 1977 and the one that I used for the bottom half as you can see the skirt down there that live here was issued 1980 something I think they did come with little tubs of paperwork stitched onto the buttons but I thought it you didn't want to see that so [Music] a little bit fiddly pop there we go and everything stored inside right so I've just gotta position it now hands sorry you're looking at the ground okay so I've just got position it now okay there's the stove set up on the inside with the flue going out the stove Jack this is a little dumper so you can open it or close it all the pipe sections do fit in the front of the stove well do fit inside the belly of the stove and also you get this a little bit on top so you can you can either you know you could fuel it from the top if you wanted to but most people use the doors and also that's so you can put the pan on there as well but I tend to use it with that on all right and one of the other things about these stoves is I know a few people on YouTube have complained about the game rusty now what you have to do with them is you have to do a couple of small burns low low burns I bought them the firebox that you can get me just like the end of the paper and the block sets itself on a fire on fire I bought a couple of them and I did two burns just with one log in and that anneals the paint then the paint is obviously heat proof paint but when this ship them to you that's what the suggest you do this is the Outback a stove very similar to the frontier a stove yeah so the you need to do a couple of low burns just to anneal the paint and then you know you can put as many logs in after that as you want so you do a burn let it kill do a burn let it cool and then your operation after that so I'll just wish you outside and we'll other walk up the the flue assembly outside so there it is with the spark arrestor on top now if you can just make out a dot if you can say but there is some wires hanging down but I've put on yourself I'll just point to them see if we can see them these wires I've put on yourself because you get three points at the top so if in high winds if you needed to guide wrote this out you could do using these wires obviously this Chi ball gets hot so all of use there is a couple of connections out of the chocolate blocks electrical chocolate box I think the cold or connection box and the cable is just some some brake cable from a pushbike the headline about so that's so that's just just in case you need to get out but unfortunately I've not brought the gay Brooks with me I've run out a power cord completely so I'm going to order some some more power cord okay guys so stockpile some wood there I've got a little bit there for starting it off just need to go find some tinder now so should be too hot out of a task ok so just got the door there's two two settings for the dog is if you can see down there as a bit of a gap that's so that you can get a good draw through the stove we got smoke coming out the top that will dissipate when that will go clear sorry when when it's when the fires going properly but we've just started look inside so there you go put a few more twigs on that now get it going properly and then I can close the door I'll do this for the time being so as you can see when the stoves in operation there's no smoke in the tent whatsoever there's a pipes beginning to get a bit warm now it's not properly heated up yet that pipe we've got hardly any smoke which is God that's saying that it's burning effectively a little bit of smoke when you open the door but apart from that when the doors closed as you can see no smoke okay guys so down this down this side here you can see a bit of a rail you could hang a tea towels that kind of thing on that to dry out also the handle but just do bear in mind guys that these parts do become hot so if you've got nylon socks you don't want to be hanging you nylon socks on there I've noticed a few wisps of smoke coming out from the chimney join there but nothing concerning and the flange is warm but it's not getting hot red hot like the flow if I wasn't such the flue then I'd burn myself obviously but yeah it's doing this job well not quite teat saying but I know it's like you're a brute let's get everyone it's the only way to do it guys with the kettle this style of cooking I've just realized that I brought me frying pan we make but not the handle so I'm hoping the gloves I'm hoping these leather gloves I've got are going to be hot enough strong enough for me to pick this up when it's really not right what have we got today we've got a good selection of ox ol cubes in there we've got some original beef ones I think then green ones are vegetable and the pivotal ones are lamb I reckon I'm gonna go with on okay new item that's I've recently purchased is this it's the Grizzly bushcraft a knife I think it's called yeah the Grizzly bushcraft this one is the wooden scales obviously very sharp legal carry I think it's two and a half inch blade good solid braid obviously we wouldn't be buttoning wood down with it or anything like that but it's okay for small tasks and it does come with a little little pouch nice little like that also on a if that's me pouch or I keep tinder in there it's a the pouch is designed for ammo for catapults obviously this bit folds down still at the magnet so you can pick your a mile but I've super glued that up and I just use it as a little leather pouch and on the other side bit awkward but I've got music bow pouch and then right round the back is my axe loop that I made out of an old belt so we've nearly got a really got a boil now so I was taking about seven minutes the fire it died down quite a lot nothing real ice so I'm just restocked it these are the cutlery that I'm using today what I like to call my bushcraft Laurie pretty unusual there unfortunate girl farmers on by currently members have known as of yeah and I've even got my feed bay but they are hung forged by someone unmade very very Bush crafty see if this is boiling yet this is the way to go camping it's heavy bodies and luxury okay so I've got me rainbow trout I've got an egg that I'm going to poach some mushrooms and I've got some asparagus quite a lot for one person that book I like expire I guess so so there we go I'm gonna keep this little tray I can use that as a container I'm gonna get some water in me pan can you pot sure to say so I can poach from the egg and get that on the stove right away it would be nice of a bit of white wine vinegar to put in that that salt and pepper what I've on go any with me so we're gonna get that on get this stove up to temperature no they're vegetable vegetable oil there's only one problem with this and that is I haven't brought a spatula with me so things could get messy here we go guys look at that for the coloring on that ends in a path and that's a big of it that's a piece of fish that is right there oh yes this is the way to go loving it get these go in this looks like it's doing nicely long before the asparagus Plus you can see me fish's broken up or that's fine it all goes down the same way want to make sure it's cooked properly there are mushrooms in the all their white shocking out some ate the Stover's there we have it guys rainbow trout asparagus mushrooms and a poached egg all washed down with a good bottle of hot goblin cheers guys well guys that's or Akane lamp-lit just going to keep an eye on it up here cuz it does just generate quite a lot of heat from the top of it they're supposed to be for putting on tables that kind of thing but so we'll see how it goes just don't want it melts in the the strap that I've put up there and then that falls down paraffin everywhere and it could be very very messy and dangerous yeah it was getting too hot up in the roof you know where else to see anyway getting to hold there so I've brought it down to ground level well but the hurricane lamp is talking quite a bit of light out I can see what I'm doing I've got me other parcels up there just hung there for a bit of light I'm actually thinking of doing the bacon and stuff might be in a bit they do it for supper rather than breakfast okay so don't actually tell you what the lump is it's the furin hand baby special 276 Buren Honda Speltz f EU er H a and D I'll put a link in the description if you've got to buy one of these kind of lumps I would go for a reputable make one from rather than this one was actually close to 20 pound I have seen them for about six quid but then the quality of them is nowhere near as good as this this is a German company they've been going since 1902 making these kind of lumps it's all genuine all genuine German stuff it's got all the you won't be able to see it but it's got all the markings down at the base even on the glass the glass is super super something-or-other it's like a resistant glass I'm teasing all that kind of job' so I want to bang on too much about the lamp but yeah it's it's certainly making it feel like I'm a frontier man let's put it that way with the stove as well I mean is the stove still going I've just opened the open the choke up a little bit a quick look outside at the chimney with the torch those are kind of show wits there you go so she's chuffing away like a good'n no there we go guys I decided to wear a little bit of a bit of a fry-up any supper get these mushrooms in got more mushrooms and I can shake a snicker all of a smell in this tent is something else when a we go what about bacon in my table mushrooms [Applause] and there we have it I am going to enjoy this folks right guys not much more to report now just letting the stove die down and stopping this last burn and then it's 11 o'clock now so the wood that I did collect lasted me what six hours start the stove off at about five o'clock still pumping out some heaters but yeah I've got me roll my bell now on top of me we've got so that's all that's all comfy so I'll see in the morning guys good morning guys all packed up now just on my way home was a very pleasant camp this one and everything worked perfectly and as it should do only downside to camping like this is it is a touch on the heavy side I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking but if you've got a vehicle and you can park your vehicle close to where you're going to camp then this system is ideal it is a winter system at the end of the day so you do tend to carry a little bit more weight in the winter it could be used without the stove it will just pour cap on the on the store on the stove jack to stop water getting in but yeah it's been it's been really good the time now is about 10 o'clock I think just god I woke up about half 7:00 this morning listen to the dawn chorus and well view and it's been has been nice it's just sad drizzling a little bit but as you can see haven't got me go on this of just too hot yeah there's been a good one so I'll see you all on the next video guys thanks for watching don't forget to Like subscribe and click the little bow so you get notifications of my videos every time I upload that's a lot guys
