Berkley TROUT ATTRACTANT experiment | Trophy TROUT fishing!

hello everyone and welcome in this episode here on in RV outdoors today I'm coming to you guys with a video that kind of got brought up to me and it piqued my interest someone asked me in a comment they said do you think a trout magnet would be as good as other sentient baits on the market if you just add its scent so I went out and I got to looking for Berkeley scent to kind of simulate the gulp and the alive versions that I've been fishing so I went out and I found this stuff right here this is Berkeley power bait trout attractant right here this has made for trout so what I'm going to do today to kind of figure out whether the trout magnet is better with or without power bait scent is I'm going to fish a black and green trout magnet today I'm going to be fishing it with and without the sense here just to determine whether it does or doesn't assist the trunk magnet was catching fish now if you guys follow the channel you already know the trunk magnets lays here in my area so there may be no need for the powerbase sense but we're going to put these things together we're going to kind of compare with and without and we're going to find out whether it does or doesn't make a difference so stay tuned and stick around and let's see how this works out got anymore big and this one here took the insanity literally the second cast in this hole [Music] we got our NIT heck yeah with an old big trunk man just popped right out so that's our first fishing experiment there and it did take the unscented trial magnet so we're gonna put us on some of that Berkeley scent now and we're gonna see if it makes any difference at all so let's let this big beauty go there she goes take off a good girl heck yeah good start cast right out in front of this tree with this Synod Berkeley trial magnet here they'll be the first cast in front of this tree and will to see this kind of a high percentage area I assume they'll be one around we'll make a few casts around here we fished from all the way down there at the day I'm up to here we did catch that one almost immediately on the unscented but not another bite afterwards which maybe means there was only one fish around alright guys we fished from the dam all the way up here to this dead end here so I changed the bumper to yellow and I popped on our brand new fresh trial magnet here no scent a totally different body different jig head no scent I'm going to work from here back down to the dam and see if I can catch a fish on the unscented within the second or third cast of the unscented we call it a fish down there next to the dam and I haven't had another bite since adding scent so let's continue fishing and let's see if it's just that there's no more fish around or if it's they really just don't care for the scent well we fished from here all the way up to the end of the line where you just can't go any further on this side of the creek here and we fished non-scented for about 2 casts that we call it a fish out of this particular hole then I had it sent and I fished from here all the way up to the top there and I had no bites so I popped on an unscented and I fished all the way back down to our original spot here without any bites so I'm thinking that that first fish although a bit the unscented it was just the only fish around so we're going to go further downstream now we're to continue looking for fish my very first few cast in our next spot I will be using unscented I've been all going for months and it descended and see if we can start to determine some kind of difference between the two all right I've made 10 castor 7 here with the unscented magnet so now I want to lather it on up with this Berkeley power sitting here let's go up that on there really good guy all over it let's make our first cast with the Senate and see if it'll make any difference at all there he is got him on the old Senate I know Power Bait scent seemed to have worked maybe four or five casts in with it and this one had to have it and we made several cast with the trial magnet without any scent previously that is just another good sign it looks like it's definitely helping Oh all around my feet come on girl what are you doing is making laps around me oh she don't want to go in the net there we go we got her Hank yeah this fish here eat it just after I put that sin on there big old that one right there all shoulders yes she is absolutely all shoulders but she did take to the Senate I'm gonna pop on another unscented bait actually no sin at all I'm going to retie Sally there's no sin involved and I'm gonna pop it back in here and we're going to fish it around and see if the scent is the reason that we caught this fish or if it was just a magnet so let's let this one go thank you there she goes alright so lets retie let's pop on one without any scent and let's try again alright we're all tied up with a fresh black and green magnet with no scent so let's pop it on out here and see if we can get them to bite without any scent at all alright this will be the last cast without any scent I've made about 15 to 20 casts no strikes at all this will be the last drift without any scent I'm going to go on ahead and reapply the PowerBait scent and on the next cast we're going to start to fish this whole again with scent and if we catch one pretty quickly then it's pretty safe to say that the scent did play a role in catching sufficiently there he is we got him on this one right here he took the Senate again I have fish from the dam just up there all the way down to here and I've been switching back and forth every 10 cast and I just put on a fresh coating of scent just before I made this cast hit that trout magnet something fierce the bite is pretty slow today but I do feel like the scent is playing a difference here I feel like it's causing them to want to hold on just a little bit longer calm down little buddy parole that you go all right so I think it's pretty safe to say that that stuff definitely helps I don't know if the Berkeley Power Bait is the best scent to use for stock trout I'm not really much of a synagogue to be honest with you but I will say that I feel like the last couple fish I can pretty much say definitely took the bait because of the scent let's let this one go I casted that out I popped on some of this sitting right here and I do feel like this scent is playing and playing a role when it comes to these trout magnets so I'll go ahead and say grab yourself some sense try different brands different scents different you know dyes and colors they definitely do work I know it's a pretty big significant difference while using the sense as opposed to not using the sense I definitely think it played a role in the fish catches in this video
