[Music] i thought last wednesday night believing matters and it does it is the substratum of our faith it is the substratum of our belief system it is the substratum of our religion if you please it is the epitome of what defines us as christians believing believing is powerful it's necessary and it's important i'm going to show you a quick recap of where we left off or what we did last week just to bring you i know seven days have gone by a lot of stuff happened you've heard other sermons and been to other places i've been to the grocery store and been to the mall i'm gonna bring your mind back to where we were last wednesday so that we can go forward take a look at this there's a fight going on right now over what you believe the original sin is really unbelief at the root of the forbidden fruit is unbelief so the enemy doesn't try to physically move them out of the garden he tries to move them away from what they believe then in order to fix how sin entered into the world we have to go from unbelief to believing the gospel then is designed to give you a new belief system for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes believes should not perish but have eternal life i want you to see that believing is the pivotal point of what defines you as a person of faith as a child of the king believing is our only gateway to god there's a fight going on right now over what you believe the enemy is not after your body he's after your belief system your belief system has to be built on something that's solid and something that's stable and something that's proven and something that's true and something that you trust in your belief system has to be built on god do you believe god's integrity his integrity warrants your belief i believe god i believe his word i believe what he said i believe that he's able i believe that he loves me i believe that he knows what's best for me what matters most is what you believe god wants you to believe him in the book of romans he vacillates between addressing both the jewish believers and the gentiles ultimately bringing them both in need of the same radical allocation of faith he said you've got religious traditions you've had religious traditions for years but the door is not your washings your ceremonies or your cleansings you still have to believe god she comes to the gentile and said you've gone into all kind of lust and depravity and perversion and wickedness he said but the same door that exists for the religious man exists for the man they both have to be brought down to the same humility of saying if you don't believe god you cannot see the glory of god somebody say i'm a believer so we're going to pick up from there and we're going to continue the dialogue because i really didn't get through the notes and i didn't really get to go to the main point that i really wanted to go through so i had to stop where the holy spirit stopped me and pick up this week and go further i want to take a few minutes and i want you to understand that paul has has written the book of romans and this is his largest body of work in one epistle it's it's his massive body of work it's bigger than any of the other epistles that we ascribe to him it is not addressed to any particular person like timothy or titus or anything like that of philemon it is it is written to the romans in general it speaks to them in a broadness so what we need to understand is that paul is writing a letter to the romans that now has been canonized into the holy writ and we are extracting from this epistle the very food and the nectar of god that we might grow and better understand him and in order to understand him since this is a bible class and not necessarily a service indulge me just a moment while i describe more clearly to you what the roman empire looked like in the days of the first century church the roman empire was massive was absolutely huge it was taking over lands through colonization it was taking over cultures and languages and people from various territories the battle has always been for land a kingdom is determined by its domain it's always about the land god says i have given you the land to possess it so whether you're talking about the egyptians in the old testament or whether you're talking about the amalekites they're always fighting over land they're fighting over territory and the romans have become so adept at taking over territory that multiculturalism had become pervasive in rome so everybody who lived in rome were not necessarily romans there were other people other ethnicities other groups other sects of people other groups of people that were all brought up under the roman empire and the philosophy of the roman empire at the time of that paul writes this epistle is let's acquire new territories new people new lands and all bring them up under one empire but we will indulge their religious belief system so whatever belief system you had you could continue it under the umbrella of the roman empire when religion and politics get in the bed together strange babies are always born and what you see is a political regime that has gotten into the bed and the business of religion and and allowed their political agenda to influence the religious life of the entire empire until you had such diversity that it was utter confusion there were people that were worshiping at the temple of jupiter they were worshipping the temple of jews predator there were people that were worshipping at the temple of diana there were people that were worshiping up under all of these different veils and these different contexts there were people who were practicing ancestral religions ancestral religions there were people who were practicing libations so the person in one house might be praying to one god and the person next door is praying to another god and the person next door is praying to yet another god so when we talk about jew or gentile we throw all of these different religions into one bag and called them gentiles but the gentiles did not have one belief system they had a lot of diverse cultists some of it was witchcraft some of it was offering up blood sacrifices some of it was pouring libations on the ground some of it was uh uh libations deal with worshipping the mother earth there were all these different ideas up under the regime and all rome cared about was pay your taxes and and let's grow the country and let's get become bigger and bigger and bigger so when you start talking about coming into rome you were coming into a cosmopolitan area and it's hard to teach this kind of teaching in america because america although we have diversity and though we are have cosmopolitan cities we don't have diversity of language like when you go to europe and you're walking past somebody and they're speaking italian and somebody over the other table speaking french and somebody else is speaking russian and german we don't live in an environment where we are inundated with other cultures and other ideas but rome is in the epicenter of all that matters all that is going on in europe is flowing out of rome for paul to come to rome and to write a letter to rome and to call to put into one bag all of these people of gentiles you're putting cults witchcraft astrologists greeks mythology stargazers warlocks all of it was all in one bag that we call gentiles because gentiles just simply means anything that is not jewish that does not have the jewish covenant so to god there were only two kinds of people a covenant and non-covenant people covenant people are referred to as jews non-covenant people were referred to as gentiles it was irrelevant that they were diverse because they were all wrong anyway and the jews had a feeling of of of orthodoxy and history with jehovah's ideologies that went back for centuries and centuries and traced all the way back to abraham that they served the true and the living god and they knew that and they understood that and they had heritage and they had religious integrity and every time they deviated from that integrity they got punished back into position again until they had so much history with god that they knew who they were and when you're dealing with the people who who are sure of themselves it's hard to be sure of yourself and not be arrogant especially when you are in the midst of people whose ideas you don't respect so on the jewish side there was a religious arrogance and a supremacy that said even even when they did embrace jesus christ they got to decide whether your salvation was legitimate or not because they had had the greatest history with father god and they felt like we don't accept them as really being christian even though they believe on jesus and we are a particular sect of jews which believes that jesus is the messiah because the vast majority did not and still don't do today but they were messianic jews as what we call them today they believed on jesus but they weren't willing to authenticate the salvation of these people who had come from all of these fetishes and cults and ideologies and libations and ceremonies and rituals and routines and and and peter had been through there preaching the gospel and the gentiles had received the holy ghost the bible said in the book of acts while peter yet spake these words the holy ghost fell on all of them that heard the word and they that came with peter were astonished because on the gentiles was poured out the gift of the holy ghost before they heard them speak with tongue had it not been for the holy ghost speaking out of them they would have never acknowledged them in the first place but peter could not deny that they had had an encounter with god so peter says in eyes he says can any man forbid these men water who have the holy ghost as well as we in other words god without their permission started filling these heathens with the holy ghost see you can form your committees you can form your boards you can have your ideas but you can't stop god from blessing whoever he wants to bless i don't care how you vote i don't care how you pick it i don't care how you demonstrate when god gets ready to bless somebody i don't care if she was a stripper a hooker a prostitute a saucer a witch doctor if god gets ready to deliver them you can't stop them from being delivered because while peter was preaching without him ever laying hands on them they were being filled with the holy ghost great god almighty god don't need your permission to bless whoever he wants to bless you don't have to like it you can talk about it but you can't stop it [Applause] now paul is coming to bring order to this and this is what's so funny about it most of you know that the apostle paul originally didn't believe in christ himself in fact he was a christian killer he he was the saddam hussein of the early church until he met jesus on the road to damascus and the lord knocked him off of his beast up until then paul was the most arrogant jew you ever saw in your life he was of the tribe of benjamin he was a pharisee he was zealious concerning the law and he thought rounding up the christians and killing them out he thought he was doing god's service but while he was on his mission to kill out the christians he became one now you got to hear me we used to sing a song i'm one of them today i used to laugh and make fun of them but now i'm one of them today conversion is so powerful be careful who you laugh at because this thing is contagious you fool around you came on here to make mockery but if you stay around here long enough be careful because the holy ghost might knock you out of your seat onto the floor and fill you with the holy ghost yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's just that real and paul who was leading a band of men on damascus ended up having to be led away because he saw a great light that left him blind he temporarily lost his eyesight that he might gain his insight sometimes god has to close down one thing to open up another so now paul has the job not just of winning jews who he understands and has history and has similarity to and connectivity to and can understand their arrogance and knows how to speak their language god as a way of humbling him has made him the apostle to the gentiles and the distinction between the jews and the gentiles was so broad that that no self-respecting jew would even eat with a gentile break the plate if you ate it and now god sends the christian killer to preach to the gentiles so when paul comes to rome he is coming to minister in the midst of all of this chaotic religious ideology and he is sent on a mission because paul is diverse enough to do the job he spoke several different languages he had been educated at the feet of gamil he had been instructed in the word of the law he had walked amongst the pharisees and the scribes he understood various cultures he spoke enough languages that god could use him in a way that he couldn't use peter because god can only use you to the level of your exposure are you following what i'm saying now i'm going i'm going somewhere with this but i want you to understand that paul is now coming into rome because the jews are as a whole rejecting christianity okay and it's not a big thing it's a small movement and a group of jews have not rejected jesus but they are arguing with the gentiles who have accepted jesus and the christian message is growing more strongly amongst the gentiles than it is amongst the jews and the disciples are trying to figure out how to grow the church when their brethren are rejecting jesus and the heathens are accepting them and now they're having to deal with hedonistic problems like corinth and their fornication and their incest and their idolatry they're having they got people talking in tongues and sleeping with the mama and they got to clean them up because you know you don't get saved and get clean immediately you have to be cleaned up you have to be taught you have to be trained you have to be developed and the early church had their hands full and jesus was gone and he had left it in the hands of men to establish the early church it's into this atmosphere that paul writes the book of romans and i hope i uh peak your curiosity enough to make you go back and read the book of romans again because if you do and you walk through the book of romans from chapter to chapter you will notice how he vacillates talking first to the heathen and saying wow you fail to see god in nature you're just as guilty of rejecting him because you fail to recognize the invisible god through the visible you should have looked at the creation and recognized the creator in chapter one and god gave you over to a reprobate mind and to fulfill the lust of your flesh men going after men women going after men he talks about that in the first chapter he is talking to the gentiles you wouldn't have to teach this to a jew in the second chapter he now moves into talking to the jews because they get away clean in the first chapter but in the second chapter he begins to identify their own arrogances and self-righteousness and he begins to deal with them ultimately trying to bring them back into understanding that when it comes to being a christian you have to come through the same door that the gentiles do you don't get to have seniority you have to come through by faith not by the feast of weeks not by the feast of unleavened bread not by the day of the pentecost not by the holy weeks not by the ceremonies that you're accustomed to not because of your tabernacles your tents in the wilderness not because of your temple not because of solomon not because of david all of that was just a shadow of which christ is a reality and you have to come in by faith through the same door are you with me now we're going to jump into romans 4 verse 1 through 21 and with all of this in mind we're going to understand and understand what paul is saying what then shall we say that abraham our forefather according to the flesh discovered in this matter if in fact abraham was justified by works he had something to boast about but but not before god why does scripture say abraham believed god and it was credited him as righteousness now to the one who works wages are not credited but as a gift but as an obligation so if i work for it and you pay me at the end of the week you can't say it's a gift that's an obligation but if i got it freely without work that's a gift however to the one who does not work but trust god who justifies the ungodly their faith is credited as righteousness their their what is credited as righteousness their faith is credited as right because they're not righteous but it will count as righteousness because faith is the commerce of the spirit world yeah yeah yeah yeah if if you take out a dollar bill it is not a sandwich but it will buy one it is it says it is good for exchange for goods and services so it is a commodity through which we can buy various things now they got bitcoin now they got all kinds of ways that you can pay for it they got credit cards all of it so we went from having to use gold or once bartering with wheat and then to bitcoins and various ways are all commodities mediums of exchange well in the spirit faith is a medium of exchange abraham wasn't righteous but because he believed god it was counted to him as righteousness god said you you don't have no righteousness but if you got faith i will take it and give you a righteousness that you did not earn because i'm accepting faith as a medium of exchange glory to god are you with me he said david says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom god credits righteousness apart from works blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven whose sins are covered blessed is the one who sinned the lord will never count count count we keep saying this word count we'll never count against them that's us we ought to shout about that blessed are the people who god will not count your sin against you is this blessedness only for the circumcised or also for the uncircumcised look at paul is arguing like an attorney he is using the people they respect to convince them of the people that they doubt he brings up abraham for a reason abraham is the father of faith he brings up david for a reason he is salinas from which jesus came through and he says he uses their words to persuade those who know their words to accept those who wouldn't know their words is this blessedness only for the circumcised or also for the uncircumcised he argues we have been saying that abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness under what circumstances was accredited now now he's getting down in the details he says when was abraham declared righteous under what circumstances was he declared writing was it after he was circumcised or before and then he says uh-oh it was not after he was circumcised that he was declared righteous but before oh god and he received circumcision as a sign it is a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised he's arguing like a lawyer he's getting down to detail what did you know and when did you know it how many times have you heard that what did he know and when did he know it he said what did he know and when did he know it when was he declared righteous was it after his he was circumcised or before because if he was declared righteous after he was circumcised then you can alienate the gentiles but if he received righteousness while he was yet uncircumcised then how can you deny them when your father [Applause] let me blow your mind the father of the jews was a gentile [Applause] see god has a way of stitching this thing up and abram was a gentile from mesopotamia from earth an idolater and god said come out from your own people and separate yourself and i will make of thee a great nation so god called abraham who was not what he wanted him to be and he became it through covenant with god i don't care what you were i don't care where you were i don't care what you was doing i don't care where you've been i don't care what you've been through i don't care what your neighbors call you i don't care what your friends call you when god gets ready to start something fresh in your life don't let nobody drag you back into what they heard saw or felt about you they could have evidence they can have pictures but you can be a gentile one moment and a jew the next because god is looking at faith as the evidence of the thing i hope for the substance of things not seen in this good and so then he is the father of all who believe oh now they're saying abraham is the father of all who are circumcised paul says no because abraham entered into covenant while he was uncircumcised so then he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised in order that righteousness might be credited to them if in other words if you believe that abraham is righteous then you can't lock them out as unrighteous and say you are the seed of abraham because the people you're rejecting look more like abram than you so the circumcision which is a work of the flesh comes after the covenant it is the sign of the covenant but it is not the covenant it is evidence of the covenant but god gave the covenant to a man who had done nothing to earn it because had he done something to earn it then it would have been wages and it would have been worse come on somebody are you with me you got this bible class it's bible class and you have to understand the rudiments of your faith so god has allowed this uncircumcised uh idolater from mesopotamia to be the father of many nations and he is the progenitor from which the jewish faith is established but god starts the jewish nation from a gentile loins that had not been circumcised because god accepted abraham's faith as being sufficient to count him as righteous on credit [Music] oh y'all are understanding this i like i like teaching a grown-up church see that's why i don't like a church that just shouts and don't think i like i like to shout and i like the dancing but i want to pastor intelligent people who are thinking people so we are justified by faith faith not circumcision so you can't lock these people up and say i will not legitimately accept them because they are not circumcised because by the way god has filled them with the holy ghost while they were uncircumcised it's too late for you to reject them because the holy ghost is a seal on a saved life in spite of the fact that the holy ghost has sealed them and saved them these gentile believers have to live in the controversy of the arrogance of messianic jews who did not want to accept them now this is part of what i want you to get out of this tonight everybody's not gonna believe in you i don't care what you do everybody's not gonna believe in you they're not gonna believe in you for some reason your dress is too short you cut your hair you wear earrings you you worship on the wrong day you go to the wrong church y'all don't use the same kind of communion with you they're gonna have some kind of reason to try to de-legitimize your faith but believing matters and god says that you are justified by faith not by works lest any man should boast oh am i helping anybody in here so if the enemy's gonna come after anything he's going to come after your faith he wants to break down your faith he don't mind your singing he doesn't mind your preaching he doesn't mind your church building he doesn't mind you giving an offering he minds you believing because believing is the commodity of commerce in the spirit you give your faith god gives his righteousness i take a 10 bill i can't eat the 10 bill but i can buy a sandwich with the 10 bill i can't travel with the 10 bill but i can pay a toll with a 10 bill it is a medium of exchange so whatsoever you desire when you pray believe you have received it oh y'all don't hear what i'm saying to you believe you have received it not that you're going to receive it not that you might receive it not that you could receive it believe you have received it and ye shall have it oh somebody ought to shout me down somebody ought to shout me down now let's go back let's go back for a minute let's go back i i went and got my bible my my real bible my messed up marked up torn page bible and i wanted to go back and see if paul knew what he was talking about so i went back to genesis chapter 17 for a minute and and when abraham 17 verse 1 and when abram abram not yet abraham and when abram was 90 years old and nine the lord appeared to abram and said unto him i am the almighty god walk before me and be thou perfect and i will make my covenant between me i will make my covenant between me and thee and will multiply thee exceedingly and abram fell on his face and god talked with him saying ask for me behold my covenant is with thee and thou shall be a father and thou shall be a father of many nations oh oh oh that's good wait a minute wait a minute i'm looking down i'm getting sweaty but i got to work i'm working i'm working i'm working i'm working i'm working i'm working i'm working work because i gotta i gotta check paul out and see if he's right drop down to verse 11 and ye shall circumcise the flesh of your what you mean you entered into covenant with him in the first part of the 17th chapter and didn't even bring up circumcision until the 11th verse so abraham has had a conversation with god enters into covenant with god and has not even they have not even discussed circumcision the covenant precedes the circumcision that's why god says no flesh can glory in my sight you can't run around with your chest out and say i did it because you're circumcised because i did it through my favor and you keep wondering why god bless you what good did he find it was nothing good that he found in you in fact there ain't nothing good in you it is not because of your goodness that god bless you it's because of god's goodness that he bless you and you don't deserve it you deserve to go to hell but god god accounted you with righteousness that's why hell hates you because hell thought sure it had you and just when the devil was coming in for the kill you messed around and believed god and god snatched you he snatched you out of darkness into this marvelous life by grace are ye saved somebody shout a minute about god's grace [Music] what paul wants the early church to understand is that christianity is not just an evolution of judaism it is a new thing it is a new thing go to ephesians with me for a minute go to your face y'all doing good tonight y'all doing good y'all y'all gonna work with me tonight you're gonna work with me come on work with me work with me come on yeah it's gonna go to ephesians i think i need two ephesians two yeah uh l you got it on the screen as for you you were dead in your transgressions and sins uh-huh can you keep going yeah yeah in which you used to live when you followed the ways of the world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air that's satan the spirit who is now at work and those who are disobedient all of us also all of us also all of us also all of us also all of us also all of us also all of us also live among them at one time don't forget to yourself gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts like the rest we were by nature deserving of wrath but [Applause] but god who is rich in mercy wherein he have loved us made us alive with christ even when we were dead in the transgressions it is by grace you have been saved and god raised us up with christ [Music] and seated us with him in heavenly realms in christ jesus in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace expressed in his kindness to us in christ jesus for it is by grace you have been saved through faith this is not from yourselves it is the gift of god not by works so that no one can most for we are god's handiwork created in christ jesus to do good works with god prepared in advance for us to do therefore remember that formerly you who are gentiles by birth and called uncircumcised by those who call themselves the circumcision which is done in the body by human hands remember that at that time you were separate from christ excluded from citizens in israel and foreigners to the covenant of the promise without hope and without god in the world but now in christ jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of christ hold on a minute i have been brought near by the blood of christ oh my god they have been brought near by the blood of circumcision i have been brought near by the blood of christ christ is my circumcision for he himself is our peace who have made two groups one y'all don't hear that see see did you notice how you felt about have raised us up together have raised us and made us sit in heavenly places you gotta ask yourself who is us it's not just gentiles because the bible said he took the two and made them one who are the two [Music] the two is the jew and the gentile have come together and the two have been made one and now that's us so if we're us we can't be them [Applause] we can't be them and be us for the twain have become one verse 14 for he himself is our peace who have made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier the dividing wall of hostility by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations his purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two thus making peace and in one body to reconcile both of them to god through the cross by which he put to death their hostility oh god this is so beautiful he came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near for through him we both have access to the spirit to the father by one spirit if you understand that clap your head let me know i'm teaching so the church is neither this nor that it is a new thing [Music] and what paul is doing is trying to heal the tribalisms and the ritualisms and the hatred and the malice in the church by saying god has made us one both the jew and all of these different versions of gentiles have been made one through the cross that through the cross there we have become one okay i'm gonna take you just a little bit further and then almost up we are in rome paul is teaching them this truth it causes christianity to spread like fire because it opens up the doors of the church to all of these people who had other deities to run in through the cross and be drawn nigh who were once not a people now they have become a people by grace they are saved fast forward eventually the roman catholic church forms around it which is in rome today and eventually a gentleman named martin luther starts reading the book of romans and discovers justification by faith which contradicted the idea that i had to be justified by a priest and he nailed on the church door the 96 thesis that were protests to the traditional catholicism of that era and out of that protest the protestant protestant the protestant church evolved in protests to the treatment that people were seen receiving in the isolation of the original catholicism protestant protest martin luther not king but the original martin luther read the book of romans and the more he studied romans the more he knew the church could not be exclusive it had to be inclusive in this world that we're living in with all of the doctrines and all of the ideas and all the theology and all the wiccans and and all the black hebrews and everybody's fighting to justify themselves through two bloods throughout these two weeks through days if you would study the book of romans and know what the church is you would understand that i am just as much connected to abraham as any jew in the world that i have the same lineage because abraham was not always the father of jews he was a gentile who entered into covenant and he represents me just as much as he represents you and i can be at peace with all men because by grace see but because we have a church that's been raised off of praise and they have no teaching anybody can come along and pull you away because you don't know what you believe [Music] and what you believe matters i'm gonna say it again what you believe matters what you believe defines who you are there is no black church and no white church and no baptist church and no methodist church and no amy church and there is no first assembly and church of god and church of god in christ there is but one church that's been washed in the blood of the lamb for there is but one lord and one faith and one baptism and one god who is above you all and in you all and through you all and the only way to access it god is by faith by faith abel offered up above excellent sacrifice and pain by faith eden walked with god and was not by faith nor being warned of god of things not yet seen built the house to the saving of his family through faith also sarah received strength to conceive seed which she was passed out man because she judged god faithful who had promised by faith [Music] staying on your feet i'm gonna stop there that's enough for tonight [Applause] everybody who got blessed by the word clap your hands i want to challenge you with with this little bitty two-part series was it all right if romans started a revolution that liberated that liberated thou millions of people if romans started a revolution that caused christianity to catch on fire and spread throughout all of the world maybe you should read the book of romans [Applause] so that you can so that when the enemy tries to put a guilt trip on you and says you haven't been good enough and you haven't been right enough and you haven't prayed long enough and you haven't fasted enough and you haven't done this enough and you're dressing long enough and your hair isn't straight enough and your eyes aren't blue enough and your teeth aren't white enough you can tell him by grace i am saved it is the gift of god and with all due respect with the singers that we have we shouldn't have to have people who can sing that good to get you to worship what ought to get you to worship is the gift that god gave you in salvation when he sanctified you they shouldn't have to break a sweat to get you to praise god when you recognize that this is my story this is my song praising my savior all the day lord when you understand i'm an heir of salvation purchase of god i'm born of his spirit and washed it is [Music] this is my story i don't know what kind of story you got but this is my story [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i want you to get it in you because i see a weakening in the teaching of the christian faith we make more noise but we have less truth we beat on tamarinds and shout but when the enemy comes against you he's going to try what you know about god and your foundation has to be solid so that you can be like a tree planted by the rivers of water [Applause] oh bless his high name glory to god anybody got the holy ghost give him some praise in here right now i said anybody got the holy ghost i better stop anybody at the holy ghost give him some praise anybody been set free give your god some glory tonight give him a little bit of praise give him a little bit of praise give him a little bit of praise give him a little bit of praise praise him till you get an understanding praise until you get a revelation praise until you get a quickening in your spirit you were dead in sin and god quickened you by grace [Music] [Applause] i grew up in a church all the time the church was always selling dinners and and selling cakes and cupcakes in the lobbies and having pew rallies and all such things as that and prophecy lines but what you are investing in is not pews it ought to be truth because you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free [Music] with everybody investing in lies and division and divisiveness you ought to invest in unity us he have raised us up together to sit in heavenly places in christ jesus you think i'm sitting at the father's house i'm not sitting at the father's house i'm seated in heavenly places in christ jesus and my life is here in christ with god and whether i live or die it won't make any difference because the most you can do is kill my condition but you cannot kill my position because my life else my life is hidden in christ with god stop telling people your mama died your mama didn't die she just moved [Music] for we know if this earthly house or tabernacle should be dissolved we have another building eternal in the heavens shout yes some glad morning when this life is over i'll fly i die hallelujah [Applause] [Music] oh glory we gotta go back to being sanctified we got to go back to the holy ghost power we got to go back to the annoying king of god [Applause] [Music] i'm going to close this service i'm going to ask you to sow a seed in this moment i'm not going to make you so and i'm just asking you to sow a seed into this moment i want you to sow into truth listen to this i want you to sow into revelation knowledge because i want the spirit of revelation to come on you until you can preach this out of your head until you can teach it in your sleep i want the undrafted word of god to remain in the earth because now hell has loose new demons coming against us like we've never been tried before and i want you to sow into truth not pews not buildings not suits not clothes but truth because jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free not the gimmicks not the libations not the holidays not the ceremonies ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free anybody free in here if you want your son free expose them to the truth if you want your daughter free expel them to the truth it's not religious dogma that liberates people is knowing who god is and what god is able to do and scoot over and let somebody else be saved other than you by grace are ye saved he have raised us up together and made us to sit in heavenly places so i've sat in romans tonight i visited genesis tonight i closed in ephesus tonight and all of it is teaching one truth and if you enter into it and you dare to study [Music] you're not going to get this by shouting you're going to get this by steady to show yourself approving the reason i'm frantic about it is is because the old war horses are leaving the old war horses are passing off the scene and we got to make sure hallelujah that something real continues to stand up and declare who jesus is hallelujah they running around trying to find jesus girlfriend now get out of my face we need somebody to declare who jesus is [Applause] his woman was the church [Applause] we are the bride of christ you got to know your word [Applause] you got to know what you believe in where you stand and it's not about arguing with people it's not about fighting people it's about being firmly planted because the bible said if your feet are planted firmly in the house of the lord you will flourish in the courts of our god so god says if you remember to be planted in the house of god i'll cause you to flourish outside of the house in the courts you've been praying to flourish but you haven't been planted [Music] if you would be planted and be stable and start being in and out and sometimes here and sometimes not if you be planted in the house of god in the truth of god the word of god i'm not talking about the building then god said i'll cause you to flourish prosperity is a by-product it is not the goal it's a by-product seek he fasts the kingdom of god in his righteousness and all these things [Applause] should be added unto you so if you want all these things to be added seek ye first the kingdom invest in the truth you got a seed you've got a seizure online you got to see so unto the truth i want the spirit of revelation and knowledge to fall on you i want it to fall on you to you can teach whether they call you a teacher or not i want it to fall on your ministry i want it to fall if you don't do nothing but teach your children i want you to know the truth so well that you don't have to send them to nobody to teach them who brought you over i want the spirit of revelation to fall on you until you fall in love with your bible not jail preacher because your preacher's going to die but your bible still will be here i want i want to direct you back to god the father of lights in whom there is no oh i gotta quit i feel i can stop it in whom there is no verbalness nor shadow apparently we got people who love church but don't know god [Music] [Applause] pass the seed to the left i pray for every seed that's sown online in the building anywhere anyone any person who is interested in going deeper in the word who's willing to dig into the revelation who's willing to wrestle with the scriptures that christ might dwell in their hearts by faith that they'd start walking in the word and talking in the word and thinking in the word and living in the word i pray that the people that sow tonight would get so in the word that they get happy about the word that they start reading and giggling that revelation would fall on them until you start opening up secrets to them and they deepen their relationship with you all of these people who are trying to get to touch the preacher i'm praying that they get to touch you and that the power of god would overshadow them in such a supernatural way [Applause] they would appreciate men but they would only honor god for thine it's the kingdom and the power and the glory amen amen amen serve the people that gave quickly god bless you for your seed god bless you for tuning in tonight god bless you for your study bible class shouldn't end when the lights go out this ought to provoke you to study anybody hungry anybody hungry for god i challenge you to study the book of romans study the book of romans it's not the only book but since i'm teaching on romans it's going to be easier for you to see the touch points of romans because i spent two weeks teaching on it and go back on youtube and stop it and read your bible and start it back up again see you got you're the only generation in the history of the church that can click a button and hear the message taught at the pace of your learning [Music]
