Battlefield 2042 Is Really Bad

a match and spawn in and find somewhere safe before you can alter your class and i have no idea who thought that was a good idea oh [ __ ] wait a minute did you put in the game i'm not your squad no i didn't did you get put in the game what no i searched and you were there yeah it was searching but well well i'm in the game okay um there's there's another example there you go yeah i'm also all then you clip through the back and then you press this button that doesn't have a button prompt and then these two guys are going to go beneath the floor and then they're going to reappear and then gotta say though the [ __ ] ragdoll physics in this game are [ __ ] they are dude whoa i kind of don't want the animation for the ladders to ever go away from being honest it's the mr gaming watch parachute them in like as a squad leader or just i think a general and they called in the aaa gun on top of the tower so it's just sitting up there yeah i keep forgetting this great line of sight bring stuff in yeah and this parachute is still attached this parachute is still attached to him he is running around and the parachute is still attached there it goes all right let's take this tower sound but it only has default and off it only has 2042 and black good work one allies back home it's like like everything in this game is wrong everything where is the oof button i need to make this through the different attachments you know how call of duty has that red and green bar to show you like what is improving in your gun it doesn't have that you have to swap back and forth and do math like i said guys i'm not trying to find things to complain about but this is just the [ __ ] that i noticed from from just playing the game this is the stuff that bothers me you see what i'm saying parachutes every every 10 seconds something happens flash a light every 10 seconds more flashes of light more there it goes let's see if this guy's still here yep yep you see there was a guy there it metal sound when you get a kill and you can barely hear hit markers as it is so it just really makes the actually shooting things not feel it it doesn't have any feeling to it there's no positive impact or or like positive reinforcement to it like if i hit something you know a hit marker lets me know that like watch like the hip markers are so small and they're so quiet you can hardly see them going to give us away oh [ __ ] holy [ __ ] i just came back and i'm sitting in this random building and i haven't gotten killed yet what do i hate most about the game i hate that i cannot uh gregory cunningham i hate that i cannot actually focus on the video game because everything about it is so distracting like that like that you spawn in and then something that that isn't supposed something that isn't supposed to happen happens every minute in this game and i cannot just focus on what i actually should be which is playing the objective i realize that i'm streaming and i'm trying to show you guys like what the [ __ ] is wrong with this game but this happens when i play too when i play by myself i get so distracted by random [ __ ] that happens that i stopped playing the game oh my god this is the worst fps multiplayer i've ever played i would probably take ghosts over this i would i really would i really would all right we're on objective f okay i'm coming in the helicopter oh god no i'm getting a lot of kills though sometimes this game can be fun sometimes but again i'm not getting like any of the metals like the metals and the sound effects that make it so satisfying ah i have but i haven't actually gotten into a firefight with it uh it's pretty funny is but it's uh it's a revolver it's kind of damn a [ __ ] to use they have to be moe was saying that he was getting sniped by it all right i don't even know what caliber it is but i think even forward the metal sound effect is for headshots but i if i'm not mistaken there's something that i just vividly remember about getting kills in battlefield one that just felt way more satisfying and i don't know what it is no it used to have uh when there's an audio queue but if that's just for headshots but you also got it first no no it was in general yeah yeah see i'm getting like objective ribbons and stuff but it's just weird man and then oh it's not c4 explosives anymore it's c5 yeah i wonder why they call it that now for being again for being 128 players you will find these like battle royale type moments where you just like run for minutes without really doing anything yeah the map's absolutely massive oh there's a sniper shooting at you he's on the tower like way in the distance at that objective ah luckily the aim is just as bad for him as it is for me yeah all right i'm coming up oh there's another one hey x-men are you sure you didn't download a bootleg version of the beta i sure hope i did actually technically speaking you did download the xbox one version obviously i wonder how it runs on the xbox one i don't want to know i don't want to i'm almost curious to to see just how bad it is on that or if it's worse what if it's actually more stable i feel like ironically it would be for some reason let's go i made it xbox this is all series x right now look at that look at those look at those parachutes those are two guys two guys and you can tell where they're turning watch oh that's not gonna do it you see like all the visuals are just so distracting like i i like come on like that corpse that right there that just flickered all around oh my god dude if you watch the stream and then it's it's parachute city up here look at this look at this there's like six parachutes attached to people that's that's not how it works emergency land the condor they're ramming me you can never tell when someone's just gonna like pop out of some random directions markers i have no faith in this game if it is not if they do not announce another i didn't know that they delayed that it was the 11th and now they changed it again i'm pretty sure don't tell me that this is what i don't know we gave you an extra month it's clearly not ready well fine all you get is a week give you a week well it's going to be before yeah it does or at least around it yeah people thought halo infinite was rough during his lighting something else i oh this makes it my experience with halo infinite i mean i had some visual bugs but like there was one match where a tree was like was this one specific tree was just like a mess and every time i walked by it everything in that little area was a mess but that was just just like one match the thing about halo infant i think this is you're criticizing the gameplay mechanics and the weapons and the map design you're not criticizing like the ability to play it at least in my experience that's that's what it was you guys see all this popping right i'll try to point it out when i see it effects oh assassination time damn it ah so for everyone to know be careful on pc me and others had their pc brick had to fully reinstall windows all drivers were up to date linked to overclocking don't want this to happen to others so don't don't play this game on pc or console you either break brick your computer or you can't play at all you can activate classic battlefield 1 hit markers from the setting you actually cannot you actually cannot and allow me to show you delta hit indicator default off default off there is no setting for battlefield 1. it says it on the screen but they [ __ ] up and didn't include it this is what i'm saying this game is like made by amateurs this is this is like old school halo 5 pissed off act man right here yeah so they they have an option for for it in the game but it it's not actually there like i really hope that they can like get [ __ ] together but like i've seen this happen before several times oh and dice's dice's history gives them absolutely no credit whatsoever this is like they have they have no hope as far as i'm concerned i really want to assassinate another person so you guys can see the exact same animation like i'm gonna be hopeful that we're gonna have a much better experience oops yeah i and and that's the thing too guys like i don't want this game to be bad i was genuinely hyped when i booted it up for the first time okay so you do kind of get the sound effect there with a parachute i wonder what's going on with this trend of like adding grappling hooks like everybody yeah ironically it's it's actually it works better than it does in call of duty i'll say black ops for beta i can't remember if it was the beta and the launch of the game but i remember i had i couldn't review black ops 4 when it first came out because it was so broken and i had to talk about glitches like this section in my review to talk about glitches and bugs for black ops 4 was like 25 minutes long and i'm like [ __ ] it this is this has to be its own video and it's like the same like i'm getting that same vibe with 2042 but i think this is worse why is it so hard to make a hazard zone will be what's that hazard zone right here at the main menu that's going to be like their replacement for battle rape i do kind of like how they have like they put in hazard zone and portal and it just says currently not available why is it on the main menu then like i feel like 343 just [ __ ] figured out how to pre-launch a game like when you when you boot up the infinite flight there's not content there that you can't play it's not like here's the campaign oh no you can't play that it's like just make a separate a little bit of a separate build you know put some effort into it does that make sense am i making sense to anyone i just find it funny no yeah that's what you mean no yeah they they have created like these like betas and flights and stuff you can also talk about how their flights are free yeah and they've multiplied like this meanwhile this flight this bait is performance issues but although i died like they got ironed out pretty quick from what i've heard like i i um it only took him i think almost a few months but don't quote me on that it's been a while this game watched a long time okay i found a ladder i'm back at the ladder you guys come back to the bottom come back to the bottom and then this is what happens if you try to uh if too many people get on the ladder and then just yeah wait i have to be like sandwiched in between you guys this is a lot more difficult all right now go as slow as you possibly can oh okay hold on it's pushing me up oh yeah i think it's definitely worth giving the game a fair shake when it actually launches but it's solid mr game and watch this is worse than battlefield hardline again you know and that's the thing i don't have a whole lot of experience with the battlefield series i played battlefield 1 a [ __ ] ton i don't know how many hours i have in that but a couple hundred i would say i'll miss battlefield 1 yeah with farther events has been around for a very long time also if you if you bother to listen to the soundtrack or what if you could call it a soundtrack like the music that they have yeah exactly well the end screen music is it just makes me think of like how epic battlefield 1 really was and how how spoiled we were with that where's the battlefield where is the battlefield theme yeah i don't know they usually do remix versions i know i want to hear it that would at least get me you know like kind of excited ah let us just observe the battlefield don't shoot me if you look at the air usually you can kind of see there's a lot of aircraft in this game as opposed to the other ones i guess that's kind of where you can see the 64 v64 yeah kinda dude some guy just shot is wrong with this game they allow you to download the xbox one version of the game on series x that version does not work on series x if you're playing on series x you have to choose the series x version but they will allow you to download the xbox one version that doesn't work why oh it doesn't work this is the this is the only xbox video game in the last eight years that i have ever seen or heard of where the xbox dvr does not work the xbox dvr does not work with this beta it is the only game i i have ever seen or heard of on this platform that doesn't work with the dvr i am losing my mind i'm losing my mind playing this oh i assassinated somebody did you see it did you see that animation yeah yeah it took about three seconds to start up so we were both locked in place for three seconds i'm just like kind of just standing there aside from the bugs what are your issues with uh like game mechanics um well the announcer is kind of like not really there i don't really i think the map is way too [ __ ] big the objectives feel very sporadic like like it's just a series of minor skirmishes kind of around various parts of the map which i guess is what conquest is but i would just like to see what some type of linear progressive game mode would look like on this map with 128 players i think that's that's why i love battlefield 1 so much it wasn't because of conquest it was because of operations no i fell off god the tornado's coming in oh we're getting hit oh yeah we haven't seen the tornado yet unfortunately for us how is it super buggy the tornado ah it is not about you for me at least interesting i think what i also don't like about it is just the way aiming feels something about it i'm surprised you've got to drive a tank again i'm going to take free if you
