on other podcasts we're getting the scooch do you know what i didn't drink until i was 18. what everyone like all the comments are like she's just using her alcoholism to have like a job like that then i did and that was the first time you met and then we recorded the whole show yeah slightly out of focus and then we so we bind it off and then we had you booked for another time yeah yeah just before lockdown but what happened with that oh the cameras went off no the tv was going into one week he made me ring you i was just saying i was like you cannot [ __ ] text her the amount that we've messed her around and i would like to do it on a technique i'm not doing this so i rung you put your loudspeaker and just threw it in jack's face and i was stood in this doorway and i was like um becky the uh the tv's gone off we're just filming with hustle malone yeah we just finished that episode and the tv was just flashing and going mental that we might have been able to film but at the risk of you coming in and something not working it wasn't worth it and then we booked you for the week after and then a global pandemic happened i have got a theory that you too i've told you this you two created the coronavirus just as an excuse quite annoying that it's ended now because you're here you know it was gonna come a day where i had to turn up we're actually doing a video where we get you to do the same podcast 100 times this is going on his main channel someone hidden in the background where's your name from bambino becky is that just uh um so it's from the fact in school i was like the smallest and the youngest and everything and bambino means like child yeah and i'm 22 call myself vampino but what happens when you're like 40. i think at this point it's just lost this meaning yeah but it rolls off the tongue yeah i quite like it bambino jackmate will be quite weird when you're 40. well you're 27 it's quite weird no no jack makes it the chat makes not when you're running across and shouted alfie where zoella was literally the first ever thing she'd said to me and from that moment on you were destined for a career in comedy that's been your joke at me this whole time no i'd give that up yeah well so did she this was this was a while ago i literally i don't know why but i was on snapchat other day i don't have it anymore what i just feel like once you're over the age of 20 snapchat yeah i haven't had it for you no no no i don't have it i don't have it no no but um i was looking through memories and you came on a night out and i was just like that is so weird it was like four or five years ago in bristol you used to go on nights out we went on a night in bristol you remember that night when you were like that boy was just being like persistent and you were like becky oh the yeah yeah i well you were getting chatted up by a lad no she was oh right okay tell me i was i was a savior how was you little white knight stevie knight leave her alone ridiculous yeah so we spoke he said he took it from a big bang theory that made me question his holiness i love him no he doesn't look like a big bang theory fan no that's it yeah big bang theory i thought like the kind of people that like that would kind of be more uh who i'm trying to think like you i don't [ __ ] sake what is this no sorry um anderson gibb do you know what he's called anderson gear that's i found it nose is it backwards yeah my jaw was on the floor and i felt like that's a joke yeah i couldn't believe that yeah it's mad because yeah cal breezy said his was a rapper have you seen um tobe jizzle's new video his assumptions video no so at the end it comes up somebody sent an assumption saying you're called toe chest or because of your condition where you premature ejaculate alfie bloody indra what alfie sent it in and toby and toby answers it but proper deadpan he's like no i don't have a condition and just goes on to talk about that oh my god already we weren't beefing the sidemen enough oh god by the way thank you yeah i enjoyed that thank you i'm going to bring because i enjoyed it as well so that's good yeah did you see his reaction the tweet oh road how many outskirts if they only had that and they were the second biggest city and because you are swansea's the second biggest city right behind it behind cardiff yeah also in the uk london first let's go ahead and so you went to school in swansea up the road so like this but every time you're saying up the road you're meaning like 30 40 miles an hour so it's like yeah it's like us going to school in thetford yeah right it's about it's about a 45-hour minute drive out of norwich can you speak welsh um so i got a b in gcses but i can't speak it how did you get a b it was compulsory you have to do well in school it's not compulsory to get a b you have to be able to speak it all right stevie you're getting very loud over there um i just made up so much like i can just you did well the thing is becky with language you can't make that up this isn't like r a oh it's probably a bloke on a cloud like you have to like i mean in welsh probably something like that give us give us some time i see like a certain one i'm like oh that's great i like that because we hate people call alan [ __ ] off it sounds like a mythical place to me wales yeah it's so good isn't it i come here and i'm just like like it's fine but then you go back there and everyone's just jolly yeah you have come to london i hate london do you like london i so when i first moved here i hated it because everywhere i went i'd be like oh like trying to you know make a conversation with people and they'd be like who are you talking to you're not on the tube and stuff what no no i know exactly don't do that exactly it was just like oh yeah hello you don't do that anywhere in england generally as if i just killed that firstborn it was awful so i was just i'd give that up and the worst is taxi drivers i'll get in and be like hello i was shifter put down please here we go and they're like jesus christ it was awful so now i don't speak i got in the taxi just now oh that's gone i was like didn't say anything i said hello i would i'd pay money if i could go back in time and watch a documentary of your first month in london it was so hard was it it's complete just different yeah because i knew in yeah was it yeah it was just crazy well the name drop always always tell a story it was literally the week that the ksi thing happened right and callum was like do you want to move up to london because i wanted to move up and i was like all right wow i just lost my job so i was like let's go and then it just it went okay but it was just such a weird thing to do because all my friends said why are you why did you mean youtube up in london what are you on about which i mean you're daft but where where where are you back in what was the city called what me yeah nice is the village okay back in nath you must have been like one of the only people that's like big on youtube there she wasn't the only people who had the internet yeah um yeah i suppose something like nobody that really knows what it is it's like what's your name why were you the one then that was like i'm a youtuber you discovered the internet we were banging rocks together drinking from streams no i'm talking um so i ever since i was in school like i would just film stuff and like make my friends see like parodies and stuff you know one of them yeah didn't have any friends you would love tik tok wouldn't i i'm so glad it wasn't around though because i would have been so embarrassing you just spent all your time on and only got a c in way and well oh imagine that be kicked out no but so i was in school and i'd be like let's go and do these like music videos the classic twilight parody done if you ever saw that i did a twilight parody yeah wow this feels like and you're you live all the bloody way in some village and you're doing the same [ __ ] yeah twilight was everywhere mental what scene did you parody i did the whole advert did you i did what was my sister you recreated it seemed seen for scene scene for scene what did you do so yeah whitman lake me and a few other bloody lads like we we did this thing where we like walk out of the water like that and you come out the water because there's a scene in twilight maybe yeah hopefully awkward if it's not twilight i wasn't gonna think is it james bond it was cast away and no and yeah we walk out and we pretend to be like the vampire things but we're all like 12 year old little boys yeah it's weird i've never seen it come out 14 years ago i don't know i just said ages ago when you look at it but well so you you recreated the whole twilight yeah i was doing stuff like that my friends were like why are you doing that that's weird and i was just like you know what i'm having a good time laughing enjoying and then i think it was like year 11 i was like i'm gonna make a channel yeah really good and it was like my videos are still up my first videos how come you don't take them down i just think it's it's vintage yeah that takes a lot of balls to keep them up i think some people seen them now just it's one of them things where i like i don't really care by leaving them up are you not leaving losing the opportunity that all youtubers do by reacting to your old videos yeah um well i'd like to see you do that i think do you think yeah because you you're good at doing like self-deprecating humor oh yeah i find that the more you just take piss out yourself nobody can do it to you yeah yeah you're amazing oh yeah that's what i thought [ __ ] me i'll make jokes about myself daily and he'll just take it further yeah knows better yeah it is what it is you grow you learn but i feel like comedy was like that at the time wasn't it that was yeah to be edgy that was yeah but growing up as a youtuber like our mistakes are made publicly yes every single one yeah what did what what jobs did you have before youtube so i was a waitress managed funny managed to get fired okay and it's quite funny story go on because the perfect place to tell it perfectly full of stories settle down kids um so i worked there because my auntie was the boss did you get fired by your auntie this is where it gets interesting so i was like oh give me a job and she was like absolutely my darling angel okay and then working in a pub me just turned 16 pints like that's right that sure all began do you know i'm not sure what noise you just made but [Laughter] that was right at the end thank you don't get surprised when i say smart things because that takes it away from it exactly you make a really good joke let me come out there and give you well done you know right okay so you're around pints becky around the paintings i was like oh come on boys hey all in um worked there till i was 19 20. no just before i moved up to london it was like a couple months before okay so just he's probably watching this so um and my auntie left the pub and this new man took over and i realized how [ __ ] i was at being a waitress like i would literally paul like i'd know all the regulars coming in and be like oh someone says here so paul and they can pay and then i'll be like right i'll be there now and i can sit with them for an hour drink it hold on how did it take a new manager for you to realize i just don't care i mean she's real like she's just like you know when you're doing that who's serving i would just with bella girls i'd be like give me a sec food all right back what were we saying boys wow well so before you got that job you were you're obviously quite young 16. yeah so you probably straight from no no do you know what i didn't drink until i was 18. wow she doesn't get any two shoes i know i remember the first night and then from then on do you remember the first night well i remember where i was what was your first alcoholic beverage um it was a pint yeah i remember my dad was like try that back all right dad it's like an episode of gavin and stacy that is all you know of wales yeah i know but it's just like a like her life sounds like a welsh sitcom massively yeah massively are you uh are you like a lager girl completely like night nights out i'll be drinking pints all these girls don't be like wine or like cocktails and i'm just like the funny thing about that is so even guys get judged for drinking pints once they're in a club it is a bit weird once every time i go in and like order a guinness cereal what are you doing yeah for you to have it that's even weirder i i i but i'm not really i'm not a big fan of you're a cider drinker and a gin drink see like re like yeah i love a gin ruins lives that why i don't know just every time i've ever tried it i end up will you don't you're not a g why are you just meaning to get your two pairs yeah yeah yeah it's it's dangerous you know like the pink gin yeah yeah [Laughter] so the beer was oh and jen is i'm learning welsh we need a happy medium i don't get a [ __ ] bee at this point do you have a spirit that you would go to um do you know what just cocktail just a couple of yeah i don't know like i just like i do strong ones which is when there's like every shot ever right i just can't stand any of them i like um disserano oh i love it's not really like it's not like if you if you now ask me to shot a bit of vodka i couldn't i physically could not do it it's like paint stripper i would be sick um but this arana was like no it's just like it's like a sugary little yeah it's like battenberg in a drink yeah and it just tastes like dr pepper really when you put coke with it yeah it does as everyone knows i say it's like christmas cake yeah that's brilliant yeah it's a good way of putting it and it's the same percentage as all these other ones i tried to do it i couldn't write i like shots wise um coffee patron yeah that's what you're getting the water from yeah you ever had that coffee good stuff patron is um sounds like petrol it's just like um i know there's patron but i don't know if it's just because of it night out type thing are you are you right first of all morning routine [Laughter] i'll start backwards um are you a pubs or clubs kind of person pubs all the way i would take a all day over a nightclub but can you not mix the two together always okay i i love all days so much so much in the sun see you there i love all day is where the the like how it feels just changes constantly like you can have like a proper laugh in one pub and then the next part there's like a serious conversation going then you go to the next one and suddenly back to like complete laughter i don't like the serious conversations i just love that throughout the day when you brings it up but when you bring it all back when you think back to it you go that was weird that was a weird moment of the day yeah you always they're always that weird sort of like middle bit where everyone sort of hits a wall and then you have to have a second way back to it are you are you somebody that can eat during a pub crawl um i yeah i try but i never i never remember oh see that makes me feel a bit funny really yeah i just have spoons just have to go yeah go spoons lunch time get a big meal in yeah that's going to sort you for the rest of the day and then just go because i feel like the the food obviously soaks up the alcohol so you're taking like four steps back do you know what i mean if you eat you just kind of like go four pumps back yeah it's ruining the experience yeah i just want to be drunk i want to be on a good level i drink very very fast until i get drunk and then i stay on that stay on that level you say eaton's cheating yeah they do they do are you tattooed do you do you get drunk quite quickly it depends on the situation like if i'm oh i tell you jesus christ when i first moved up here like like people would be like i'll come to this party and i'd be like okay so these people are gonna be here that i've watched for years yeah i'll have to have a pint before i go turns out three points in i'm going in there hello idiot and then by the end of the night i'm like and the next morning anxiety central i'm like what did i say what did i do but just i've got better from that like well talk us through your ideal day or day or night then what how would you how would you start if you were now say saturday yeah you're having like a pub crawl with your mates or having an all day uh what happens at what time where you go and what you're doing you know the best ones are like the golf ones oh you do all that dude you've never done pub golf no no i like pop golf i'm not a big fan of golf that's irrelevant oh that's called pub golf mate yeah but only because like you call each place the whole that you're trying to drink you're drinking less than a certain amount of are you on about proper golf then no i'm on about oh you think she's going out and playing guys imagine me with a lager hey hold on four no um like the actual like you said pop gold yeah pop golf but my favorite right in so who i thought was going to be the biggest lightweight was talia mark right she tanked it really incredible and i just sat there being like well like i was the worst off in there was you yeah so for anyone that doesn't know you do a series called strong ones yeah where we start off drinking like lager cider and for each question the drink gets stronger and it's okay talk us through the evolution of drink then so it's so it's okay so for the like the one before because i tried to do a little bit lighter for talia and g but they still were just like oh it's fine and i was just like wow so um normally it's like lager cider like prosecco yeah then wine yeah tequila sambuca gin vodka and then all of them mixed into one at the end oh my god because i think i'm really clever i'm not like the best thing about this show is that i most often comes off the worst do you does has every guest so far drunk the last sort of concoction um the only one who didn't was freya but she was amazing anyway she came on her own and she was just like school and she was fine but she didn't drink the last but the format of the show so i have i got this wrong so does only one of you end up drinking it or is the aim that you both have to do so if i come on the show i have to drink unless you want to look in the camera and say i'm a light weight oh so freya did that she did bless herself yeah i think i don't know if i'd be able to do it how much of it do you have to drink it's only shots what but you said of everything oh the last one is like it's probably a shot of everything so it's you have your own talk group don't you yeah not weird yeah but i remember like how would say summer in the city but it wasn't somewhere in the city um i met emma blackery and i was just like i remember watching you all the time and she was like yeah looking at it now compared to what it was she was like there's people running around doing tick tocks she was like what is ting talk i know you're probably bored of talking about it but just because some people probably won't know what is the ksi stuff that you talk about um so at first it was true jordy that was the first thing that ever happened oh when he you were on his podcast on his show yeah yeah yeah and that was insane yeah i remember i was working now she said i don't i can't do youtube and waitressing soon getting pissed um so i was like okay well i'll just sack off youtube then and just try and make some money because i'm skint and i was like um yeah sorted and then i went on my phone and it was brian being like oh do you want to come on i think you're really good and i was like oh no this is it i'm going to see true geordie i met him when i was like that's like diving in the deep end that is isn't it meeting any youtuber you meet true jordan yeah [ __ ] hell i genuinely the scariest thing right so you you did that did that affect your channel well yeah ridiculous yeah yeah that was really really good and then ksi blew it up even more yeah so then like a couple months passed and i was like right steady brian was helping me with stuff like being like this thumbnail like that so it was good and then i just woke up and was like alright what the [ __ ] going on and it was just ksi tweeting me and ellen o'neill right that's all he did like all he did was say um just found my two favorite female youtubers us two and from then on i hit 100k i think we also mentioned her on a podcast around that time i think that's that's probably what i think i think it might be people have probably accidentally like thought it was ksi he may have taken a bit of the well it was us stevie 11 yeah come on get it right stevie gwynn yeah so what how many subs were you on before that i was on uh 13 14k and you got to 100k in a week in from a tweet from a tweet that power of stevie quinn stephen pulls through he came through once through the crowd that is insane and he put me in a reddit video and i got [ __ ] all about from a load of ksi fanboys going this is cringy as [ __ ] yeah but he tweeted saying that she's one of his favorites oh yeah to you we went what the [ __ ] is this [ __ ] yeah this is painful to listen to and then skip it yeah mental in it yeah laughter i'm dead it's been a week such a good video i think he thought it was uh actual gonna be a diss track when it wasn't it was like it was a love song it was a music video it was a masterpiece thank you thank you thank you [Laughter] i'm glad you could not understand so and since then you've been you've been in a few of the side bend videos you weren't in what the first one was um was it the tinder one so and nobody really knows this but they filmed them a day after each other so you can imagine me right by the tinder and i was like all right come on then oh sh did you do you done the dragon stem one first oh right imagine that so you have to go and pitch to all of them so i got a message from josh being like hello becky we'd like you to be in the sidemen's dragon den video and i was like [ __ ] firstly in school never did public speaking i was a person you'd be like can i do it at lunchtime right yeah just in front of you oh he's been sacked wow i didn't even think that yeah because when you give me the eyes then like oh god i was like what i didn't work out you're talking non-stages it's the mind it goes into yeah um and then i was like do you know what i'm just going to do it so i was like all right i need someone because nico asked chi to be involved they're going to the pair zach and jay stephen and max i can't walk and be like hello and i didn't have an idea so i was just like right simple good on the alcohol route and i just i can't even watch it back because they did not cut any of it why can't you watch it back because i was just so like i was terrified yeah and like i just didn't think my idea was very good compared to zack and jay walking with livestock actual alpacas yeah i was like yeah what to say did you have to sit there and watch the others do theirs so we got we sat downstairs yeah i got there at one didn't go up till six oh wow crazy and i could just show them all laughing and then i was the last one and i walked up and i was just fed up what i okay here we go what was your idea it was the strong ones drink it was alcohol because i thought yeah well so it was that drink of it all of it in one yeah but it was like aimed at so it's like josh was like an old beer and then right and harry was a bag but then again i just i'm so bad at delivering stuff that i literally made that joke by going oh yeah put it on the floor camera didn't even see it who'd you do it within the end max flash maxwell oh he's great he's so good like i know she rang in the day before was like can you come and dress up as a pint he was like ah all right then so good but it was fine well were you more nervous at the fact that they were the sidemen or were you more nervous at the fact there's probably going to be about 10 million people watching the video i didn't even think about that oh do you know what it was just the fact that i had to stand in dead silence in front of them and then all these people filming yeah it was just complete silence she said walk up with my little whiteboard oh god i just knew that i was like and you knew they were probably going to try and rinse you yeah yeah but they were fine yeah [ __ ] out yeah i remember i was proper nervous for the roast yeah because you you did so well and i was watching it before i went and i was like thanks i i didn't feel like i did just because i said you don't know yeah and i wasn't nervous about them i i thought because vic would ask me to do it and i thought i was just doing it to them and it was like that i didn't know there was going to be a crowd yeah and when i got there and there was like vidal riley in the front row and i've got to make a joke that seems like it's a racist joke until the punch line and then i'm like just looking at the down he's just sat there next to leon as well i'm like oh just let me get to the punch line please it's not actually about race it's just like yeah i'll [ __ ] it a bit then and then because then they on our one they had like calyx and freezie and that and they know him they know everyone in that room like i'm not in a youtube group she had them on the dragon sermon as well now how did they they came down it was against a breeze i was like [ __ ] this yeah for you yeah cause you bet your bloody best pals and then you did the um the next day was the tinder one right oh but they went i think the tinder one went out first yeah yeah yeah i feel like that would have been the nicer one to film first because that's more about them just saying stuff to you yeah what was that one like to film fine do you know what i got there i sat down with all these like stunning females and i was i was like hello everyone i'm becky and they were all just like you had chi there though yeah no um no no because they're friends i'm saying i'm saying that she wasn't alone come on you always do this i'm saying it as if she had a friend there i have never been so offended on somebody else's behalf she won't even be offended that's also not what i meant i'm saying you walked into a room and you had a friend there you weren't just alone right okay oh my god that's not what you meant but that's what it sounded like it's not he's not mad i don't know if she listens but i'll just be like this time stamp yeah she'll hear him i'll have to tweet her straight up she'll hear this one when everyone tags her in there [ __ ] me yeah no i know you didn't make it she's unfollowed me already right oh what i've lost completely lost where we were where we was in the youtube space yeah right he's stunning fema and gina and um us two in public it just shouldn't happen and especially not in front of like girls who are like so sure of themselves i thought they not nervous at all with that one because it was just that's so clever that you thought you'd go first and get the link because no everyone was like no i was like i've embarrassed myself it's a good way to start though as well because ksi's money thing yeah now but then if you if you put you yourself and she in a different bracket to them other girls yeah you you're the funny ones though you're the per your personality is going to shine way above them they're no offense to the idea i don't i have not seen the video i know the concept but i don't know who the other girls are but i imagine they're like if they're like beauty youtubers then they're not exactly going to jump out in a sidemen video it's not really that kind of thing so i imagine that you did you did pretty well i should have watched it for research but it was all right it was it was just a bit like it is intimidating because you probably think the same when you were there it looked so easy when you watch it back and you're like i could have been like but i was just like yeah did they did any of them mug you off um do you know i genuinely because it was such a blur i can't remember what they said right yeah yeah i think i don't know ksi just lobbed money at you literally which is honestly the funniest city so good he obviously expected the money to go and fan out and it just stayed as a lob and smacked her and everyone was like did he actually let you keep the money he did how much did he throw he's like just want to say like you can keep that i was like what how how much was there so it looked quite a lot yeah it was like a friend of mine i was crying after this i was like they didn't keep that in thank god um well i he was like don't show the others so i was like okay off i went right up to the toilets counting it and i was like about 500 quid there that's amazing but honestly i thought there was 500 there it was like thousand three hundred what [ __ ] hell honestly it clumped i just watched it cracked me up it was the first thing that happened in the video and i was like oh my god so then i was like well thank god it went first for one but he threw one thousand free as if it was loose change what like i watched i watched one of their videos recently where they had to spend a certain amount in a day they all went and bought things and all he did in the whole video was going around just throwing money at people it was like 10 grand throughout the day just through to people everyone else it was in his pocket by the way imagine walking through london i literally had in my bag and i was like we need to go home we just go to a secure environment now if he got if he got robbed for one thousand three hundred i suppose he wouldn't care oh so that that that joke cost him 1300 quid good joke though for a joke he easily earned that back from that video though yeah but is it is it a good was it was it funny because it came out as a clamp and hit her in the end or was it funny because it was the eric was the joke i think the clump made it yeah he was trying to be like you know he does that like rich person yeah i mean he is anyway yeah but he was like oh i can turn this 20
