The college I went to switched from Adidas to Under Armour for their athletic gear. Driven by football program.

The men's soccer team all got their UA cleats, but they all thought they were too bulky, like no one at UA ever played soccer. They gave it a chance for a day or 2, but then most guys wore their own cleats and sharpied out whatever logo was there

This is pretty common among sponsored pros. Ice hockey players will get sponsored by a skate company and if they really really really want to keep wearing their old boot, the company will use their old boot (whatever the company that made it) and dress it up as their boot. Same with sticks, although with sticks it's usually just different models of the same company stick that the sponsored company will dress it as.

The real bummer is that Nike had a great skate shoe. The Savier Brian Anderson was the most durable skate shoe that I've ever come across. Granted that was like 15+ years ago...

all right well we are back we're back at the 9 Club today listen man we got a special guest today oh yeah special guest you'll have been asking bam margera howdy yeah what's going on yeah dude thanks for coming I know I'll actually I was in Spain for a year yeah I learned how to ski looks good I know enough at one point I think four years went by where I was just like living the rock star life I guess I was going on these rock tours getting paid like 10 grand a show after a while it just took a major toll like you could always play a rock show drunk you could always play guitar drums that's crazy dude yeah and then I guess one day I stepped on a scale and I thought it was broken it said 230 pounds oh my god 230 pounds and I didn't even want to go to Spain at that point to go learn how to skate again because even if I did a cool trick Estonian I stayed there like this cabin with these two dogs for five months just hiking and biking every day that's it push up Zeus it up really what did you get down to I got down the two hundred two hundred when I was a yard are good as fame okay it was starting to get wintertime there it was like already October last year and you know it would get dark at four o'clock at night and then the Sun would come up at about eleven in the morning and you know I would wake up and I'd see the Sun coming down again like on day number five this again why the suicide rate is so high the winner is oh it's completely darkness there it's cold as hell you can't do anything but then when you got to Barcelona and you started skating yeah how long did it take for you to like feel normal on a board at first it was a little frustrating just like bailing on an actual stall on a 4-foot mini ramp you're like what was that even possible yeah yeah go buy a board I bought a matters our board no stony a skate shop yeah that must suit Spitfire wheels and I was trying to find a strux everywhere because they're my favorite yet like I just put those things on and you don't have to break them in light right I was like Indies will take me two weeks to break those bushings yeah yeah yeah but my first board in element then I have no choice I was like I'd be in the weirdest place like Cordoba Spain and the only option was blind or anti Nomad boards from the Spanish skate team over there I would just take what were like what size board do you ride you who are you picky I am kind of I'd say eights but um okay you know I wanted to do a double flip on this bank so I grabbed winkles board which was like they're easier to flip these skinny bar and man I've become such a snob after being a year in Spain because everything's perfect marble yeah even the sculptures are like made for skating like all you have to do is like a shifty ollie on it and it's already like the freshest cover worthy especially with the background everything else yeah I went home to Philly I'm like I'm not gonna skate this there's a crack yeah what if I might hit this thing it's all lumpy and lopsided I'm not skating it's literally XK ting this perfect skate park it's in the streets yeah it's like we would pass by spots and I'm like what about this and they're like no no we're going to the spot yeah and everybody always goes to Barcelona if you venture off and into like these towns that nobody knows you just link up with the skate shop they'll show you the craziest things I'm like like Malaga Sevilla Bilbao Santa Miles their logins yeah I mean I people go to Barcelona cuz there's rad spots but if you venture off you'll find even sicker stuff yeah totally yeah were you taking the train or like nah this car it was me Winkle and Nicki is you know Nicki is a photographer of like taking close-up like a bug on a flower yeah okay I'm like skate photos are the hardest if you shoot a kickflip just like one frame off then you didn't get the fuzzy riously yeah how'd she do though good she did really well okay really surprised it's what's funny is to like Ryan G when he he took an art photography class in school and the lady was like judging the art and she's like now look at this flower with the B and it this is just perfectly in focused you know I give this an A+ and then she grabs a picture of that she took a Brian wedding don't switch backside 180 down the love Catherine she's like now this is just really confusing I see Plus here's Travis magazine cover thanks for my seedplot what did you know covering you're giving me a C+ cuz you don't know what it is yeah but and then so Barcelona but so it was good though you got back on the board and skating again getting clips yeah yeah ankles filming you everyday we get like a new clip and and which was rad was a wiggle didn't care what it was like it didn't have to be some hammer or anything it's just like he just had to be out of those shoes yeah yeah yeah you like to be out of Barcelona for once and you know just out and about in a car going anywhere we had no like there was no timeframe of when it needed to be done there was no it was just like our mission just to skate until I feel I have enough footage or to where I feel I'm comfortable on a board again yeah are you yeah are you working on like a profit or anything you would all know it apart well I just put out all the footage just on YouTube redid like really oh five days it's all the stuff device didn't use are you happy with it yeah yeah you know it's at this point I'm 38 years old so I don't know like my level of you know I could jump down 10 stairs back in the day no problem all day long but now I don't know if that would break my I don't know what I'm capable alright you're like I'm gonna chill the ten but I mean FDR I I think that I'm every day and hey mini ramps you know yeah that's what I just love transitions low-impact he was getting F Carol lovely huh yeah yeah there's this kid Dickey from Massachusetts he came down there he was living them to ten and he was like shred and he was doing like a uh you see of all people living on your property used to do you still have people the property like well I moved yeah I still have the castle house yeah there's still people living like they're squatting I've caught some people squatting yeah well you know about the naked stalker from Jerry from wait a minute naked stalker from where so there's this chick and she was like living at a safe house in Westchester and she was there just to meet me and everybody knew her because she's been living in Westchester for like months at a time small town yeah and so she became known as the Florida stalker BAMF large daughter so some dude named Ryan Cleveland was doing his own like podcast thing in town live and he saw her walk by at fifteen north and he's like hey come in here so he interviewed her and she's all bonkers and she's like he's like so where do you live she's like I live in a tree fort and he's like oh yeah very funny you know so turns out maybe like a month after that I wake up to somebody kissing me on my neck I think it's Nikki I'm like babe you know like midnight will get that little morning yeah yeah I look up I see her sleeping the other way and then I look up I see the silhouette of this naked chick way and I'm like I turned on the light I'm like who are you and she's already on the ground finger in herself down like what she's like the owl sent me from Jupiter I'm like 9-1-1 oh I'm sure I'm on the phone I was Nikki's trying to get her out like outside she's like where are your clothes she didn't know her clothes were but the funniest thing ever was when you know she's saying [ __ ] like my dad invented goats and trailers so we're meant to be together so five police cars open up the gate opens yeah I plea said she goes oh [ __ ] she does a naked cartwheel bolts into my woods no and the police were looking for for seven hours to the we're like I'm going to the bar I can't take just yeah I come back they're still looking for they look in the treetops for the second time and she's hidden under a bunch of blankets and once they caught her there's so many widdle carvings of like notes that she wrote that she when she said I live in a tree fort she wasn't lying jut write he was living in my tree fort for at least three months Wow and the craziest thing about that is a month after that there's a gnarly rainstorm and the thing just [ __ ] fell down like crumbled into pieces if she would have been in there she would have been dead as can be Wow and then I decided to light it on fire not knowing that the wind would catch it to my mega ramp that cost over two hundred thousand dollars there was a smoke cloud so [ __ ] far that you could see it from Philadelphia like which is 40 miles away this massive smoke cloud with helicopters going around at complete the amp I know the de Fire Department shows up with like five fire trucks and they were trying to charge me for arson oh my god for lighting my own room your own rare and I was trying to tell them I wasn't doing that on purpose I was trying to light the [ __ ] yeah the tree fort on fire cause it was rotted into pieces and and the wind caught it to the ramp so like I slipped the guy 2,000 dollars just like I'm like getting charged arson is a serious crime my property god wait so you still have that what do you do with the house though what do you called the Bam's Castle or what yes it's got the uh the Amish built me a huge barn with like heated floors and everything yeah so whoever knows the gate code could go skate the ramp but but like an idiot this is the third time I've redone my park and this time I decided I was all drunk on whiskey and adderall and I drew these obstacles that were bonkers like you know ramps ten feet high when you need if you were gonna do a trick on the pyramid you would have to have your foot in 360 flip position before you even dropped in right because everything's just so tight so now for the fourth time I have to I'm redoing it again yeah like I can't afford to keep you I just need a standard bowl or a mini ramp and simple simple that's the thing I'm like everybody has a pyramid everybody has a ledge with the thing on it let's try to build something's and nobody's built before well there's a reason for that it's like a one-hit-wonder thing is crazy contraption once you do the trick of your choice like it whatever it is yeah done with that yeah so you what are you gonna do with the house you're just good you're just letting it well I mean you got the skatepark there CKO this is actually a funny story well CKY has been living in their practice and but um but Doyle from the misfits is moving in with his girlfriend Alissa white-gluz from arch-enemy I've known her for a long time and really basically they're both on tour for for like three weeks out of the month okay they they basically just need a place to stay for the week out of the month and and to put all their [ __ ] right yeah they're like why why am i spending all this money on a place in LA when I'm there five days out of the month and all my stuff they get a creative earring Airbnb for like bands yeah that would be a good idea QVC's right there as well so I mean there's no option but I just wanted to move to a different place i I told my mom like you know what I've been in Westchester for forever right and you know I'm in LA a lot but whenever I'm here I always get my hotels bought for me from the company okay so having a place isn't it right off of them but um I want to move mom yeah like I think Spain or like Estonia or or even I don't know vain I just want to move yeah I found the perfect place so like oh really yeah it's five miles that way I saw the place and it was it was dope so I so now I have two [ __ ] places and questions I don't know if times are ever tough I guess I'll just sell one right right I just needed to get out of the castle house for a while because there's so many good memories and bad memories there you go yeah I look out the window sometimes and I'm like we've had a [ __ ] mayor's oval war here we had to come here we've had you know like explosions and and skate jams and and you know Danny way in a Hell on McHale and in a helicopter yeah now I look at it and I just like count the deer in the backyard yeah crickets it's like we're Neverland Ranch without a closed-down amusement play sometime well I mean when you were filming all that like Viva La Bam and all that all that stuff I mean with the neighbors did you ever have beef with the neighbors because I could imagine did at one point um like when we first started we were ruthless okay they had a housewarming party for us and you know cake and everything and we never showed up I never shoulda died Slayer play that day instead and they're just like this kids a [ __ ] so do you memory had the sheriff's come here yeah so like when Slayer was playing it was actually shaking the windows of the present the prison which miles away almost yeah and we would ride four-wheelers all over the place just create mayhem but the neighbors that lived in behind me whether Kalani's and and I was like please man your Pam Merkel his daughter we're getting this fight I'm like that's why the first girl I've ever French kissed was your daughter know her Kalani sixth grade go ask her they were so pissed right and at one time we're uh skidding around in the mud and the dirt Roger gives me his brand-new [ __ ] camera with the Deathlands on it I hang it out and I give it covered and what I felt so bad about it that Jay Maher had to spend a month with a [ __ ] like a toothbrush right scrubbing everything out and I'm like oh my god I want pd-1 why did I decide to just point out the window I was like more involved and this is gonna be a great shot right and I'm just really sorry about that rod used to film the beat Viva La Bam show used to be a camera operator yeah you lived in Westchester Philippines but so how did that come about though how did you hook up with because you were in Boston those audio and audio yeah audio days so we're we're done with one step beyond already and I think Jeff Taylor sent me out to go film with BAM when I got there it was actually when you were gonna premiere Haggard yeah and all the [ __ ] was going on jackass would it just came out and like MTV like yeah we want you guys you wanna shoot a pilot of your parents and you and I filmed the entire week that was when we turned the house into a skate park no there's even before that okay this is when you bought the Hummer oh okay yeah so like all the stuff we shot it was the sizzle reel you cut the show MTV to get the pilot greenlit why no we're jumping ahead but I mean like to get the pilot cuz weren't you you were did you during jackass right yeah or that yeah and then we go back even further how did you well I want to go back to you know well then they want to label ya from evil Wow a long long time ago but I mean like to get the jet you had to do another pilot to get Viva La Bam even though that you've already done for some reason I think that that's like a must that you don't I like that they never show on TV I just want to see the formula of it and and what it is but um once you know jackass the show was done then they wanted it to spin-offs which is what they always do they yes you would Jersey Shore but okay they wanted wild boys with pontius and Viva La Bam with me and okay all my friends from Westchester it was crazy man our budget was like 300 grand to spend on each episode of [ __ ] [ __ ] up riadi how do you spend a week how do you spend 300 grand [ __ ] [ __ ] up can you uh ideas that I would come up with were so bonkers that I would be like they're never gonna approve this and they would approve really let's get an elephant you know there's one from Connecticut it's 12 grand a day we'll get that and then we'll build a castle moat in my front yard with a drawbridge of it yeah that will fly continent area and then at the end I'll wreck eight of Don Vito shitty car so you'll get so mad that he'll put a brick on the gas pedal of my Hummer and drive that off a 600 foot quarry cliff right right right greenly I feel like today I just found out wisely and got bought for like forty million dollars for their TV channel it's like yeah you was epically later I'm like okay you guys are coming out for a week to fill me in Spain then you're filming a week and like not that it matters but like how much am I getting the right well you're not getting anything it's like you're honored to be on epically late Wow you're honored in skateboarding to have an epic you later yeah oh okay so I'm not I don't get paid I'm like it's like having a mini documentary yeah yeah oh you're on epilator then you're you're meant well and skating is right right right 300 going to be on the show either we'll give you a free shirt maybe a hat too if this goes well no so a 300 grimey that's a lot of money back there because how old or how old were you at the time like that was probably 24 24 that's up 14 years ago 52 episodes and I like what do you want to do in the next two let's fly everybody to Europe we'll get a big tour bus and we'll drive from London to Venice Italy you know like what are you gonna do in the mean I've run a Ferrari and then I will drive to Romania to get a wine from Dracula's castle Phil's anniversary dinner and Monaco that was much the writers meeting though yeah just you just make [ __ ] up basically yeah it's like sometimes I wouldn't go big enough they bake so that's that's your only idea for this episode no how about we get a giant fire-breathing monster truck whatever like you're like yes it was gnarly they don't have shows like that anymore not in the budget for I was a big fan of that show I just I loved it dude I was always so hyped on it and then I would always wonder though like how much of this is real you know what I mean like do you really go into your dad's room when he's at sleeping and slap the [ __ ] it was as real as it could be you know I mean there was times where like you know when we're on our third season and APE sees all the cameras coming I mean she knows that like her Everitt whatever's gonna get smashed and eventually a few people pay that back like so they got used to it yeah they got you there became a point though do you remember when everyone was like just tell me what you wanted if we do what like just tell me what I do I got things you gotta take care of then the reaction wouldn't be as good right if you were to if you would tell them yeah you know is that was that kind of like your goals yeah there's some things that like you know this will never work type things and and that's why I say try everything because you never know I'm like you guys are planning on doing the switcheroo which is Phil sleeping mm-hmm it is whitey Tiger revenant Preston fat Preston's gonna come tonight and replace Phil and lay there and that's the switcheroo he's gonna try to feel up ape until it realizes that it's not filled Oh Mike this will never work and it wound up being in the more funnier things that I'm like you know what never mind me just film every film we had we get if we don't we don't right and that's usually when you get the best footage just sitting around waiting for the lighting to get yes that's when you'll find some sling shot yeah [ __ ] right in your eyeball good [ __ ] crystals in your eye I don't know I was always amazed that they never put a walk on their goddamn door you know after the first time you know you'd do that to me I know yeah we've done everything like fireworks in the house fireworks in the car we painted their kitchen blue we turn their living room into an ice-skating rink skate park we had snow all over the house that we go sledding from upstairs outside like it's like sky's the limit like anything this was in July 8th philsed finds blue [ __ ] when I painted the whole kitchen blue even of apples and oranges before Lou knives blue still find blue [ __ ] ten years later I mean but it sounds like you guys have just had so much [ __ ] fun yeah you know what I didn't like that's every 24 years old doing all this [ __ ] 300 grand to do whatever the [ __ ] you want Wow it's why I almost get bombed just not realizing it at the time how good of a time that was yeah like it was a [ __ ] blast so if they would give you so they were obviously paying you too right yeah they paid pay you but then they give you 300 grand what if you couldn't spend that 300 grand would you could you keep the rest of it or how would that I think it would just go into something yeah but everybody got their like flat standard fluffy you got you okay that's really huge crew to pay oh yeah oh yeah that's another thing that's I love doing Viva La Bam yeah hell of a lot but that's actually what made the skating kind of drift away because I used to skate five hours a day which turned into like two hours a day then I started to realize you know like when they're filming me do a trick for 30 minutes and I'm not landing it right they're paying all these people every 40 people in a raid to wait for me to do one trick which is gonna be one second of screen time there and it's simply not worth it not worth it so like me having fights repeat delasco I never I never got so mad this this guy Pete the last show the director oh used to be the director and he had to like I don't know why and to prove himself but you know I just what we're gonna do we're gonna pan over we're gonna do a 360 with Danny Way was there trying this trick and I could see he was frustrated that he hasn't made it yet in the driveway and Pete is just like alright enough of this nonsense we got to move along to the next shot of like my gosh enough of this nonsense you just said to Danny wait [ __ ] this [ __ ] we're all stopping and we're all sitting here we're all waiting for Danny to land it yeah he's already frustrated here like you don't say to a skateboarder can you land this already yeah like Tony Hawk told me that that he was doing a Gillette commercial they build him a loop and they're like alright so it's time to do an action Bale mm-hmm all right action Bale nine bales like are you gonna land this already we already have to reload the 35 mil right here yeah yeah it's like I don't just show up and do the nine on yeah I don't just show up and do the loop like it's [ __ ] hard trick that's why the trick yeah it's a trick how long did that director last on the set was he there for like an argument with a couple people oh yeah yeah he just rubbed everybody the wrong way yeah I don't think Jason Martinez is a sila fan of him and that's the dude who is so nice to everybody who's friends with everybody and if he doesn't like somebody then you know there's a problem yeah RAC was like the nicest dude everything yeah and he would get into it it's so crazy to me because like you know you're filming all these high jinks and stuff and yeah I wouldn't even think you would need a director you know what I mean like a but it got to that point or yeah we're gonna is chaos huh like somebody had to keep track of everything that was going on or you'd be surprised there was even people story writers make sure that like if I shot something there was a dude's this guy Steve uncle's writing notes down like what I shot Oh writing down timecode interesting yeah I saw him go filmed Eko say this and then yeah now he went over in film lab say that so he's right no he's usually trying to like piece together their whole show well because otherwise all that all those cameras all that footage would take weeks to edit right so they had another the first at the end of it all BAM would be like I know Roger shot this and this this footage Oh like you had to do you already do yeah here's the best we did this skate jam at the house and Chris Cole did 360 flips of pyramid then he went up and switch 360 flip there and I had to tell New York editors I'm like where's the 360 flip they're like the 360 what I'm like alright it's when the board does a 360 vertical and horizontal at the same time so like I don't follow I had to get in the car drive two hours in New York pull in go to the editing booth go fast forward fast forward stop right there that's a really I mean was it frustrating having other people edit the show for you only when I came to skating because because they would show me like Ali the pyramid and then they would show a 180 it's like when it comes to skateboarding start from the end because at the end that's when you're gonna get the best trick layer you got right if don't use the first kick flip over the pyramid that you see of me because if I'm doing it again that means that I wasn't fond of the first that's right yeah go to the end right if I landed the last kickflip that that usually means that's the one that is fine there you go right right hand mark stuff yeah oh the hem work yeah Kyle Nicholson did a kickflip backside flip just back noseblunt okay ending of the whole finale when everybody cheered and like hugged him at the end like I feel like they just scroll through the skate footage and they go all right here's ollie here's a rail slide let's call it a day right right right yeah that looks real that looks so somebody real food something was neat that sounds frustrating but like I say they don't know the difference between a back lip hell and they wouldn't even know if it was a switchback look they would just be like right I'm using this landed rail slide were you were you controlling doing it during that air like and having that done how you want it yeah Alice I know you used to edit like the CKY videos and stuff so you already had yeah this now editing they might be so anal about like the music too because sometimes they people so now we're gonna head to the you know motocross rally where we're gonna do it dirt and then we'll kick in to do not just use disturb erase that right now put it like you know yeah so they would send you [ __ ] before it would come out yeah and I will send them a stack of CDs from like Scandinavia to use even though he was a music supervisor music yeah yeah well let's go back let's go back do diving deep dive Westchester Pennsylvania yes small town right oh I don't even know the population there what are 2030 thousand yeah how does a kid in Westchester Pennsylvania get into skateboarding I saw this dude Brian Chamberlain when I was waiting at the school bus stop he just was pushing down and he had like a vision hip kid on different colored shoe laces and his grip tape was all painted up and like he a lead like this stop sign thing and I was like that was the coolest thing I've ever seen so older dude yeah like like older dude and he was in this team it was called team shebangs okay after that I'm like I need a team so I called our team Team X and it was just all the local kids from the neighborhood but um you know everybody around me kept saying that I was the best Oh planted that in my head that I was and um you know from there I met Mike Mall a different team shebang though I came over to team X did he know we both got sponsored by fair means and a skate shop yeah and then we would always go to this skate park called Shimer ville where we saw Kerry gets which was like this really skinny nerd with glasses what are you doing the best back side flips first try every trial this guy needs arrived for famine stews yeah the first day he came down to film with us he kickflip this like really big ten stare with a handrail that I was like blown away back and from then on it was like BAM I can carry like we would skate that was true right yeah all the time so there was a little skate scene there there was a little you guys had Team X and team shebang bang oh yeah yeah it was pretty much like high school kids though right you know some of them you know probably barely ollie that crate over there just like if you were down you had a skateboard and you could push with it and then you're on the team so like fair mins how did you was that just the local shop and you didn't have to like do a sponsor me tape or any of that was that like just kind of like a local like you could skate for us we would have to do like demos for which framers of professional board yeah no no chat Street in Ocean City Maryland was alright yeah I saw Bucky was there killing it Matt dove and everybody was skating this this vert ramp huh yeah and I was just getting on the frigate demos I got a Shawn golf just because the graphics look cool but ever since after that his first board Sean Goff would have gone X Y and X yeah he was a vert skater that way we're keen Mexican I never even knew Sean Goff was Dan after that was nothing but Tony Hawk nothing but Tony Hawk Tony Hawk Tony Hawk I couldn't have anything else yeah yeah and my brother always got Caballeros and then Tim water booth was Lance mountain Jake Phelps was Mike McGill no because we were like team X was pretty much the Bones Brigade I was Tony Hawk Tony Hawk the more people were getting into you know that's rad though you guys had a little [ __ ] crew and yeah so we would get like I think two decks a month and a free set of wheels or some track trucks would last forever yeah month that's right when H Street was um I guess ending or whatever then it went to evil witch Maldonado it was on and I was getting flow and which was also two decks a month and some wheels yeah well your sponsor yeah was Tony Magnuson came down to uh with Marcel Johnson at Woodward and Wow and that's where I met Johnny Schiller up in John Reeves John the middle of the man Reese I just remember Shiller always saying I'm gonna breakdance yeah I think so yeah he was yeah yeah Wow so um yeah it was Kayla's me I had a I had a cast up to here because I broke my arm but I was still skating vert and everything with didn't stop me down with the sling yeah playing Tony Magnuson was filming all of us I think Alfonso Rawls was even there Wow he's such a great [ __ ] mini ramp skaters oh yeah Fonz is like one of the best he's Sicilian now I I follow him on everybody's like he was one of spine and doing that yeah yeah whoo that earlier and I tried it when I was in Spain and I was like it's a really scary trick to drive yeah I was terrified yeah it is amazing which reminds me in school anytime I would do a report they got so sick of my Tony Hawk reports yeah it's Black History Month they're like let's see what you're gonna do now yeah you can't interview tour so you're on evil right and mike maldonado all these dude now did you don't have to give a sponsor me tape writer did those dudes just kind of get you on or did the sponsor me tape was what we filmed it Woodward oh okay yeah and sick that was when they shouldn't treat lick right yeah yeah Oh lick yeah so I had like a couple tricks in that yeah music the blunt fakie something else yeah mom out I had this trick that he tried for literally two hours but it was worth it it was a just an ollie late foot double flip on the side of the pyramid took him forever but male double flipping houses closing his heart is ender yeah so how long did the evil thing last was at a couple years or something probably about a year here until 20 sheen happened which we flew out to fountain valley stay with that Templeton Carrie and Mike Mike was already on the team and I think once we went out there we we eventually got on as well okay we're done flow for a little better yeah I mean well we were filming with dan wolf every day yeah yeah and like Philly I would be in this car we drive all the way down to DC yeah and I you'd film Reese for with hojin Chang Andy down ethanol Tina's well Dan was on a mission like as soon as he would wake up it's like oh yeah an exposure just like all day every day filming skating non-stop like what was that sub-zero time yeah and then that's when we he was going to DC more than Philly until he saw how much like Ricky and Fred and Matt reason we're on a mission he's like alright I'm gonna film these guys kill this Sub Zero video I think I only had one trick and that was allying the fountain okay 10:00 in the morning morning go there just to ollie it or did you just was like well just remember staring at it I'm like you know what if I'm ever gonna do it it's gonna have to be now because I think it was like a couple more days for the Sub Zero video and then it was time to edit and put it out slowly I want to trick in this yeah I guess I'm gonna Ollie the found at that point I think only like Vinnie Ponte did it and a couple other dudes who L chat what was the dude's name J Omega choppy onel ko- Japan grabbed it yeah so how did you I mean did it take you a lot of tries did you get rekt trying it I mom I think it's a four tribe or try Wow and then when carried kickflip that I was blown away like I'm like I can't believe somebody kickflip now was he the first to flip donut yeah Tim O'Connor kickflip that after that Jamie Thomas 180 then Jeremy Rea frontside 360 so close that that's gnarly man even like like Kyle Mickelson showed up and he was trying to switch tre flip it and like he was catching it yeah and almost doing it I'm like today man like oh I grew up watching Salman Agha switch Ollie over a fire hydrant on my the wrong way states this way but he did it that way that's insane yeah now kids are just like skateboarding up switch flip and regular flip they learn it the same day that's crazy right I'm like the handrails and stuff like people go to the Hollywood hide alike so where you gonna skate today Oh me at the Hollywood high stand that teen stares don't want to walk up it I don't want to go down it that's like nerve-wracking to watch yeah watching you escape that thing is the middle of what they're trying to scare you like nyjah huston back noseblunt down the big one I didn't even think that that's possible right I really didn't like if you ask me to try that and even if I didn't land it I would get a million dollar in the suitcase my body wouldn't let me go for it seriously I know I'd like to smack my head rack my nuts I would probably die trying vo let me jump ahead ro did you ever get hurt seriously doing like people obey or jackass stuff did you ever have a serious injury that's because I always trip on you guys yeah I always be like how are these guys still walking the parade on your ass was pretty gnarly yeah the branding on my dick spraying on my ass for five years with skating I always broke my wrists and things like that always twisted my ankles but with jackass and Viva La Bam the most pain was the bucket cart February I hit my tailbone so hard that like I snapped that whole thing and I had to be on a flight like this no you can't do anything with a broken tail but I remember that episode you had to x-ray and they were making fun of your yeah MTV can't show a lot of things but for some reason they can show my x-ray dick and perfectly see it and because it's on an x-ray and they passed that but it's a layer it's hilarious and I cracked my head open diving into a moat that was only two feet and it was like sharp rocks in there at 16 staple he's then broke eight ribs that sucked because even if you cough it's like so painful can't do anything about it you can't put a cast on broken ribs you have to deal with it you'll see that kind of you don't see this done you just see you guys every it's like skate tricks right you only see the best you always see the mix yeah right you know you don't see all the three about Jagger's is it show slams oh no he's not supposed to land jack if you wreck then mission accomplished right sure sure well did you get like nervous going into an episode be like dude I gotta do something [ __ ] this yeah yeah yeah that's why you know like Johnny Knoxville is so because he's so clumsy that's why it makes it so funny yeah him dropping in on a vert ramp you'll do everything you're supposed to do right somebody will sit there and tell him like crotch and knees lean forward as much as you can't like and he straight up straight and lean back like if the stunt of me was I'm BAM and today I'm gonna drop in on a vernian but simply just dropped I still don't even know how to begin to ride a skateboard and that's why it's so funny right yeah there's something funny about people leading [ __ ] yeah I mean like there's something hilarious about the meaning [ __ ] you try to do a backflip on a motorcycle and like if I was gonna attempt that I would I would definitely do a major backflip and really try to land it he shot up 30 feet up in the air and the [ __ ] motorcycle landed on his dick oh yeah he's had a catheter in for like five years I think he just got to take it out like right and I could have never survived that he was so gnarly like with like today we're gonna get trampled by Bulls you know yeah I'm not into that because you can't control a big hoof landing on your head yeah yeah you stun some in control of which is like dropping in right into a brick wall I can make push me yeah I could slam and make it look funny but like you know you don't know what that balls gonna do and then telling them that I'm terrified of snakes was the dumbest idea ever because that all that means which I realize now is let's throw a bunch of snakes on BAM yeah I love spiders guys you know seems like it's just a mistake to open your mouth at all around his people you know okay so going back to the toy machine you know you got on Toy Machine yeah what was the video dude jump off a building yeah the first video without your first video part yeah yeah like official official video art besides like Feynman's videos how was it like shooting that for the a big video like that merger one yeah okay it was cool you know that's when I put in some funny [ __ ] with me like this is like a major video partly you're jumping into like all the all the leaves and [ __ ] like that off the tree yeah yeah I would always just splice and funny sad and that's when I put out CKY okay which which was crazy because a lot of people who didn't skate bought it and they knew it the only place you could buy at a skate shop there's mom and pop skate shops like out of nowhere with no ad or ads or anything it's sold eventually a million copies okay why did that blow your mind was that just insane yeah exactly because I'm like whoa like back then you're not instagramming stuff you're not like promoting it my favorite skate video was Plan B questionable like I would watch it every single [ __ ] day but like if you play that to my uncle who's an auto mechanic he's gonna be I don't get these lip slides and you know I like the funny [ __ ] in between totally the skating just tied it all in because as soon as they would get sick of watching the skating then just worked out I guess which eventually is what created jackass with the big brothers combined with it yeah yeah I mean CKY CKY yet did - how many did you do for I did for yes the first one it was land speed it was called CKY land speed because the wheel company was like almost ready to get go out of business so I figured let's put out a video and then try to like he's a saying yeah interesting did it work it worked until I figured out that Todd Swank owed me a lot of money right now right but I got the video back which is what I wanted to get so you have ownership related well I got the video back which I just called CKY and I left land-speed out of it that video was like cuz I was watching skate videos all time but that came out and were cycling and skating but that hit like everyone that didn't skate was watching that video too yeah that was wild because it became like a high school cult classic yeah seriously yeah it's like the coolest thing in high school for sure it's just not that from that I got a phone call like do you want to be on MTV show like hell yeah you know and Tremaine yeah and and you knew him not Tremaine I knew him from like big brother videos okay you know when so he kind of been [ __ ] King yeah so he got a cold called you kind of yeah and then like overnight jackass was on TV and like I wasn't necessarily popular in high school it's just I wasn't a nerd either it was just nobody really gave a [ __ ] and I didn't give a [ __ ] about them either like yeah when I got done on a Friday of school I would go right to love park and skate ya know with Stevie Williams or whatever that was my thing yeah well you weren't doing me like crazy [ __ ] in class or anything yeah I was I mean Kris trav got kicked out of high school for [ __ ] on a locker keys and you know we came back is we we both miss school that day so we had to be in a room and there's this Chinese girl sitting in front of him and he was just like ripping farts and stuff just pissing her off real bad then I was like dude I dare you to go out [ __ ] on a locker and then he did and I think I did I was like no you didn't he's like look at my shoes there's like a little you really did the bell rings and our teacher was like I don't care of the bones everybody stay you know so we hear all the other people coming out they're like you know what is that oh my god it [ __ ] the principal comes out we got a situation here with a walkie-talkie and they said if anybody knows who did this they'll get $400 everybody just assumed that Rab was the only crazy [ __ ] that would do it so they go it was him no broken admitted like nobody saw him he could have denied it Tokido right he got away with it so okay because of that I quit what grade was a 10th grade it's great yeah and I was really glad that I did it cuz I flew right out to California and I was staying at Tom Penny's house and muskies house just watch it is dude like to me yeah I was fifteen years old or something maybe 16 yeah like just seeing Tom penny operate you know he would just be so [ __ ] up on weed but we would be outside of the Long Beach trade show and he would be staring at the Han right out front yeah 11 stare nighttime he's wearing timberland boots and some sweat he's like yo kid let me see your board and it's just this crappy pal deck yeah like you know I wouldn't even want to cruise around on the right but he tested the wheels and the trucks and then he went for a kickflip and to my knowledge he did it first try Wow and I was blown away I'm like this dude is [ __ ] awesome it's like it's not penny besides Bucky LASIK and you know Tom Boyle skate invert like he was the first Street skater that I was like officially blown away by like watching like you know just puffing weed yeah I'm gonna frontside flip this 13 stay around I didn't even wanna or third right around that was scary enough but you would just go for it and land it oh so MTV calls you yeah and they or Jeff Tremaine Yeah right and then they say yo we're gonna do this jackass thing yeah yeah and so now all of a sudden you went from you were saying you went from not the most popular kid in school - I assume whenever you like Bueller Carol ya wanted me to go to a Friday night party or whatever even like the frat boy whatever the college or the basketball dudes go - come on who knows I'm like yeah didn't you just tell me to go [ __ ] myself like take my like lunch and throw it at my face it was so fake that I was glad to quit so you must have just been like thrown into this like weird like Fame vortex you know all the bars in Westchester like would give us all free drinks to even hang out there and like the enrollment of West Chester University went up like 50% Joe as they knew of that is like the jackass you know town town Wow yeah and I'm sure tourism went up in that yeah like famines blew up you know people would drive up from all over they would even come in from like Germany and stuff just to check out Westchester like today I'm thinking there's nothing to see yeah but like you know Johnny Knoxville was coming there to film with us all the time and and you know I guess it was a big deal back then it was it kind of like a love-hate relationship with it with the town like did they kind of love you but then kind of hated you at the same time it was like the younger cops love this but the older cops were just fed up like we were doing a scavenger hunt and one of the things of the scavenger hunt was to go to the top of the parking garage and piss off of it into a cop which might have been on your face okay if you miss then it gets all over Facebook older cops drive by and see this going on Jimmy pop from the Bloodhound Gang gets a ten thousand dollar fine they all get arrested - oh yeah I was shooting with them uh-huh yeah yeah Jimmy pot threw up all over me at the Wawa and I basically told Bruce the producer time like he'll do I go home and change I can't [ __ ] shoot with me yeah so I left right before they went to the parking garage to shoot this next thing and everyone got a rest except for me even the camera people got a right handed oh really yeah everywhere I was at $10,000 must've been the old cops right the old guys yeah yeah but I mean what is that indecency I don't even know how you can write a ticket yeah if you're the only one at the top of the parking garage with the dick piss and overthrowing like frozen turkeys through windows oh we're doing that through what windows [Laughter] vandalizing sometimes when I watch the king of the road I really think they like you know what let's just watch the scavenger hunt of a quick idea that incredible and now it was this during the this was after Toy Machine right yeah then I got sponsored by element which was great okay well how come what happened to Toy Machine thing why it was just the whole Swank thing you know like I knew that the video sold a lot am kind like I wasn't getting any they own CKY yes you distribute it so as soon as I got my video back and distributed through VA s which is 401 and all that I got a million bucks so like I yeah so I knew that you know something was not right but I mean whatever for will won't cut you a check for a million dollars I mean that the first check that you got well you're like what the I mean that's when it started to get crazy yeah like with jackass and stuff I remember like there was some like hardcore Street skaters bit you did a right cord commercial you sold out you know what I'm gonna sell out again because they just asked me to do another one give me a million dollars for one day of work I'm gonna go do that I'm gonna go sell out again invite them and see what they say right guard t-shirt seriously dude for my alien dollars you sold out for doing right cuz [ __ ] a I'll sell out all day long okay that what seriously whatever we need to call right guard how old were you when did that first 401 check um I was maybe 21 s what do you do with that but I bought a Ferrari do you put that in Bank of America like huh change like do you hire somebody like how does it work my dad became like he quit being a baker attacked me no supermarkets okay - strictly handle all my bills and stuff like that because like at one point taxes were ridiculous you know like even the Tony Hawk video game I mean dude he's the man Tony Hawk yeah like I met him he put me on his skate tour it was great and like he put me in his video game and like that actually I remember the check from the Tony Agra do game that's what I bought the red Ferrari Medina with oh yeah like he's the [ __ ] man because you guys I mean you were in what like six or seven of them you were like in not only Tony Hawk like two three second one thank you it was the one with me and him on the cover of it so I said maybe got a little more than the other riders yeah in journals was here I think he did he say you got like a hundred grand for doing that and think about it that video game sells millions and and the the price of the video game is like sixty to seventy dollars right and that's a lot of [ __ ] yeah it's a lot of bread wow I can imagine getting a check for a million basically a hijinks skate video right I mean I would just do the weirdest things that my manager would get me offers to it like this game kapanke which is bouncing a ball into a cup and it'll make a weird noise if you get it okay they pay me 80 grand just to say that it's a fun game one wanted me to host like the rock honors which was one day of work that was 80 grand I mean at one point at one point in Vegas they would be like we'll give you 20 grand what do you want me to do just appear no like we want you showman's rinks yes show up and drink yeah that was another thing I did a whole Canada tour of showing up and say number 10 I thought I was gonna die buying these shots left and right and it's like and you're getting paid you're getting paid to get [ __ ] [ __ ] face drinks I'm assuming no you buy the dress I remember like on day number 10 of this like tour of me partying getting paid to do it like I remember on the tenth day I was like I can't do it one more day we are in list tripping off me to shake constantly how just often you're like hey here are some drugs oh yeah some guy just give you a wheat pin down the street right and I bumped into some guy who was waiting in line he's like holy [ __ ] bad mojo just saw your replica later yo here's a vape pen tobacco vape pen oh thanks I took a hit of it it was weed oh my gosh you're like [ __ ] blaze it up in there yeah wow that's crazy I'm not good with weed ever since I own that with Snoop Dogg and pedaling but oh where my wife's mom lives I look across the street it says snoop lion tonight so I called Lil Wayne okay do you know can you get me into this so he's sitting there puffing this weed yeah like 15 times and he passes it to me and I'm like I can't say no to this so I go like this I'm like one hit and I pass it and then I'm just like that was purple and Weezy as a matter of fact don't do we don't do it because if I overanalyze everything I know everything else I want to taste everything I need to know ice cream I need to read what I did that night was I laid into a bush and I stared at the moon and missed his entire mansion it just must be bong oh my god are you kidding me these guys yeah I think I'd freak out too but I mean what a [ __ ] world to be in I mean people giving you money just to show up yeah I mean did you at one point did you even know how much money you have I mean did you even keep track now really because like if the checks would go right to my dad my boys right in the bank huh he's got the invoice them or just check show up know the checks would just show up and I mean how would you even keep right like he wouldn't tell me anymore he witness it would have been a phone call every day ya know like so it was crazy I took advantage of you know people were giving me eight laptops at a time for no reason and I was just like all right yeah yeah a laptop I don't know the only worse there's a ton of stuff yeah who did can't lean where there was a kind of a gaming thing but they made their own like pcs oh and I think was it who the Gomez hooked it up yeah yeah yeah and uh yeah we just want to have like you're like give you some product we're just like how do I have it in the background the show when they're filming viva lab and they send us their filming now there will be a they send us like with like two like giant towers like monitors for each them in like five laptops Jesus at any point where you just like what the [ __ ] yeah this is crazy and we have to film in 52 episodes non-stop like filming every day like every day when I was fine like it's over what a relief like yay like I think two weeks went by where I was like yes and then on the third week I'm like I want the show back already [ __ ] bored boy why did you stop the show just because I you have all had it off really like Brenna's course okay like when you doing the show is like hard to top yourself constantly like yeah yeah I'd sit in like writers Muse whatever like alright we're we gonna do next yeah it's like a comedian trying to come up with new material how do you do that how do you outdo yourself yeah right I got to start jumping off [ __ ] let's go to the seriously yeah push me to bush and that's another thing like like I'm 38 now so it would it be funny anymore if I kicked open the door and beat the [ __ ] out into an institution funny when you're 18 but like I'm 38 now and and now you have to decide like is [ __ ] really funny anymore I'm right I just looked at something of steve-o light in his head on fire getting his nuts kicked doing a blur 40 years old meat is funny that he couldn't put himself out of fire and you know that's bringing a whole new element to it but but uh you know if you just did the stunt that he's always done before at the age of 40 was there anything you felt bad about doing to your dad or your mom was there anything where you had a regret I should have done not not really no it's the weirdest thing the only time Phil ever got really [ __ ] pissed was um when I said all you have to do is just say hi my name is Johnny Knoxville you're watching jackass he's like and you're not gonna do anything to me I'm like no that's all I want you're not gonna do anything you know so he said it and then i whaled these whole stack of bananas at him and i guess it hit him so hard in the face oh [ __ ] this you know he got pissed oh yeah and he fell rarely ever gets pissed but that take just some banana yeah right when I promised him I wasn't gonna do it you promised them it seemed like they were all good sports though seemed like they loved it you know it was just fun I mean I liked watching it just as much as all of us when it would come out oh did you watch the shows when you'd go in and they come out you won't always go to duffer's well you have a premiere there every week yeah and then so you got all you got an element yeah how did that deal come about awesome we are I went to the trade show in Long Beach showed it to Johnny's chiller off CK y2k you were already off to a machine yeah yeah yeah it was like it just happened okay and then um then next thing you know BAM board came out and then as soon as the harder Graham thing happened it was like I was selling more boards than Tony Hawk a woman oh yeah sure you were selling more boards in the whole industry crazy and the people who bought them the most were just thirteen-year-old girls who wanted to hang it up on their wall oh there you go like who has a pink skateboard with a hardware on it well every girl wanted one but you took the Hartig ramp from him right the band yeah is that some type of deal that you feel and okay audio shoes was putting out like yeah I just gotta grab him I see it in the BAM hard to cram shoes like a half cap I guess it was just like a really good cross-promotion marketing thing but when him got bought by Warner Brothers for four million like they started get really pissed that I had like a hardier gram on my front door of every episode of evila BAM you know that would be like me open up yeah I'm like it's just promote if anybody did is your fan they would see that it's my favorite band from Hamlin right but Warner Brothers are figured no they figure to your logo you're on TV more than air or whatever I'm like so you want me to stop promoting the band you all right whatever so that that deal kind of so you can't you can't use it anymore basically right yeah I'm down to it I guess so but I mean somebody was printing harder Gramps skateboards in North Carolina just some random person and killing they yeah maybe killing and and the loophole was the harder Graham is kind of like a star everybody could use a star but you can't market you can't trademark a star an exclamation point yeah yes so they said to the heart and a star was basically like a logo simple yeah you can't patent that interesting is can you find a patent an octagon yeah so you just saw this logo and you just were like I want to use that logo did you had any thought in your mind like hey I need kind of like maybe I need a brand logo just go into the barian to the point that I wanted to rock ohon Holograms everywhere on my shirt on my pants yeah griptape whatever dude element must have loved you bro did you ever get like royalty like how many do you know how many board you sold and like who's your best month how many it's like royalty check I think twenty thousand boards was going on off for a month for a long time bucks aboard I mean there here we go for Zr 40,000 40,000 40,000 boards a month more skateboards than anyone in the world I'm Shelly Johnny Schiller all right again what the button over there I know no you're good you're good 40,000 boards yeah I guess with MTV and jackass and VEVO just everything together Tony Hawk video game it's just more checks BAM you know yeah like these jacks just wouldn't stop oh my god 40,000 boards you know I'm selling more than the whole industry combined probably I mean checks and remains big companies that's I'm saying good all these checks in a minute did it ever get to your head I mean did it ever like did you ever lose like Connect you know what I mean like ha okay it started you know like going to a skate parks started to be come a mission like like I wouldn't be able to skate because everybody would want a photo or autograph or just the chit chat and like I couldn't even break a sweat skating right and so I would be a dick if I would ignore but you know and if I stayed there and signed everything that I wouldn't even get to skate yeah and and you know not after 52 episodes of evila BAM you know I I feel like I would be kind of rusty going up and people would be already on their iPhones filming me show up and I'm like they're just gonna film me suck for 20 minutes yeah even like I don't want them to film this they're gonna beg why is this dude even did you even did you somebody's maybe even want to just like I just wish I could go into a skate park and just be Joe Schmo built his own you know yeah well that's true too yeah I just couldn't imagined it because even being a pro skater you know what I mean they go to these demos and yeah the kids flock and autographs and everything and like for me it's even too much you know what I mean I could imagine times 10,000 my favorite thing was like we'd go to skate spots yeah we get kicked out and then the [ __ ] would the cop do you remember the the day in Delaware or in the parking garage the the bank you following us down all the way down to his Ferrari what the [ __ ] you do really like I skate like what making sure we got kicked down the place until you follow this like down like three flights of stairs whatever to like this car and I was like what the [ __ ] I only make [ __ ] twenty thousand a year and you yeah so Elliman so now I mean you're skating for them but you're also doing CKY you said fifty two episodes how many seasons was that before I am um what did I say did you difficut my wheels five Viva La Bam it's lying to my Spring Break specials yeah okay did MTV at that time did they just want to be in the band business were they like whatever you want to do pretty much and yeah and then we did Bam's unholy Union no kaze ah me and miss Eve Reagan the marriage planning for that yeah stuff like that and then I kind of regret saying this but on the second season we had a meeting and somebody at MTV was like so how about on the second season like Missy gets pregnant you're trying to do what to do with it I'm like this is a kid we're talking about yeah I'm not gonna get somebody just for a show I remember we got and I like got kind of pissed about that but it rubbed them the wrong way or how I was like [ __ ] this [ __ ] you know and and after that the relationship with MTV kind of faded but I watched MTV now they're playing like Wayans brothers and Saved by the Bell and [ __ ] with the only thing new that the plains Teen Mom music videos anymore what happened yeah I don't know whatever when you pitched them Bam's unholy Union yeah you told them like and if we get a [ __ ] divorce we'll make a show out of that too yeah but now Nikki is pregnant so yeah yeah oh boy do on Christmas it's different different way yeah which is weird um I'm better friends with Missy now yeah then then when we were married it's like if you put a label on something it kind of ruins it in a way like oh you love me and I love you well then fill out all this [ __ ] paperwork and then if we get a divorce you get this yeah I'll tell you the truth if I figured out I of the amount of money that she got from being married to me for two years it was about $10,000 per [ __ ] for ten grand and this was a created like I made this prenup man well done what did element because you still you right for element still yeah right yeah I'm going did it fault it kind of fizzled away Leda fizzled away a little bit right yeah and I don't I don't blame him why I mean there was a good five years where I went by where I didn't have any skate tricks out at all yeah and I but but uh you know I guess going to Spain and relearn how to skate I was just there to have fun and yeah people were pumped on it you know and and I feel like yeah Spain is the only place that I want to skate yeah actually unless it's like a really good nice mini ramp or something we're but but uh like I said I'm really snobby about spots after being in Spain for a year yeah everything's perfect marble and you don't even get kicked out because they consider it an art form to scratch up ledges yes seriously and I'm not gonna run from [ __ ] security at the age of 30 anymore lovely what am i doing you're walking up to them like what well in Spain it's more like people dumping water on the spot or oh yeah yeah until I kick you out you know yeah have you have you skated China at all I've seen Japan is a different story not China Barcelona on steroids yeah I was like you can't really communicate with anyone because everyone - speaks Chinese so you have no idea what's going on I think we should communicate with John ISIL or from planning it's like you can stay there for like months in the skate Marat new spot new spot marble everywhere crazy so it's the new Barcelona pretty much it is yeah but without the partying really like well there's really no party in there there is partying but it's just the language barriers it's the whole difference is it like like Beijing and Shanghai or is it weird towns like things out you'll find like weird both place like just just this small you go to our town it's just brand new there's no one living there it's a full-blown city yeah Wow I'm just like we skate spot even small cities are huge there but it seems like you got your passion back for skating yeah you're just fully doing it it was it took a long time I remember like I was in Lithuania and there's a skate park and I was just staring at it crying sipping on a bit you know like I can't go up and skate because I haven't done it in so long and there's already ten kids there I don't even know if they know who I am I don't care I like I don't want to relearn in front of anybody yeah what's up with a switch backside tails dude you still doing those I was doing them on like you know maybe a foot high ledges in Spain but see I went from one on a pyramid and busted my head real bad I still got it though it took a long time to refigure it out but once the muscle memory came back at Mike 40,000 boards amongst my bed I never thought that would that would even be an option right I know that um we know we've been printing out the old boards and maybe new all these ratios I'm saying every issues and like chiller would tell me you know twenty seconds to be sold out likewise we could be 15 seconds like crazy dude mine usually said all that song ten ten seconds that must be it son sale now and everybody's just like how does that even happen you know even with social media how does somebody get on a website and purchase that quickly yeah I mean when misfits decided to play with glenn danzig back they're playing at twenty thousand seater that was sold out in twenty seconds so like everybody easy Jesus Christ that's insane forty thousand do you do you know like I mean sorry to keep asking about money and everything but do you know like the the best year you had was it just like just crazy we'd everything's right around like the light guard Tony Hawk okay yeah element sales and you know people CKY episodes and appearance yes yes but the pier the appearance is really took a toll and it yeah everybody like talk to dude I would kill to be able to go to a bar for free and drink for free and and get ten thousand dollars at the end I'm like but when you're a month or two months into this [ __ ] you feel like you're gonna [ __ ] die yeah like you just I can't party anymore right I can't do it anymore you ever go and like and just go hang out and not drink it's too hard to do because you just get so annoyed when people are like yo here's a shot and I figured out that if I set him on antibiotics then they would like leave me alone look I'm on antibiotics and I would really like drink but if I drink this then they'll cancel my antibiotics out about the staph infection man so I would love to take your shot then they would understand but if you simply said no I don't want the shot to be [ __ ] [ __ ] yeah putting the shot over there well we were talking off-camera about what you guys went to like Mall of America yeah you guys in it literally what would you what you say like as a Britney Spears Britney Spears was there she was just before us NSYNC was there and I think Backstreet Boys and I remember the security were like oh we have this under control we just standard Britney Spears yeah they said it was way crazier than Britney Spears at the whole place was packed to the Hill we did a demo Mike Vallely was there on a four-foot mini ramp and then CKY played okay in front of like wow I mean Jimmy's demo I mean you literally shut Mall of America down yeah it got shut down we had to be like escorted out the back into the car it was not dude you're like a Beatle but I mean like I cuz I would go on audio like signings and tours with you and it would be like you know the line of kids and half the kids just wanted you to slap him in the face yeah it was like the weirdest day in the nuts yeah kicked in the nuts or slapped in the face and I would have to like ask the age like how are you I'm 15 I can't yeah did he ever go through your mind like dude I could get I mean they could suit if a parent sees that or something like I could get [ __ ] yeah dude which is insane because when they're filming my Don Vito did it did it thing in Colorado was a signing and his thing was if you're a kid a guy you would Oh fake chocho right and then if it was a girl you'd fake grab your boobs okay I guess he tapped the boob of a 15 year old the [ __ ] the chick didn't even care so you know what's the big deal but the mom sued him for everything they've had element because there was an element poster in the background with anything and like they just tried to get in if they could and Vito had the higher Pamela Mackey which was the Kobe Bryant lawyer for oh yeah I was left with nothing at the end seriously every every hard work that he did with Viva man no way taken away for the lawyer defend them or the parents to get them on so he would literally do a fake but it would out camera the angle it would look like him is grabbing their breasts like that yeah oh he's yeah it would be like a foot away away yeah but I I guess in his drunkenness because I said before I'm all signing which was dumb but they did that so Jesus yeah well at least you're slapping him in the face one chick hot chick in Australia element demo she I was drinking all these Coronas and I think I guess I just ate a something with tomatoes in it but I barf tomatoes all over the table and she slurped it up no she slept it up gladly she just like wanted it what yeah that was [ __ ] up that would just make me throw up just that the wildest thing that you saw that someone no I'm sure it was it like what's like the weirdest thing someone came up to you and it's a store did if my wife ever got a hall pass its to where you hump my missus Oh girlfriend time for so I damn you're hot I would totally like to but yeah I got asked that a lot imagine back then imagine BAM on tinder [Laughter] I tell you about trickle-down right oh the trickle-down well you have a girlfriend list the time so I girls a talk honestly trying to like hook up with you oh and like no I can't get a girlfriend but you can hook up my friends over here down to like everyone in the pike the on the ship I remember in Phoenix Arizona it was the first time I did the loop on the Tony Hawk oh yeah boom boom Hawk jam thing and I was like hell yeah I'm partying tonight so of course I slip on all this whiskey like Bucky's with a friend of Novak's there and Novak would always be the one would come on trips with me to like carry my bags and stuff and I guess he wasn't doing a very good job of it and I'm all drunk I'm with Nellie what good you you're good for nothing so this chick who's like 200 pounds or more maybe she was pretty heavy but bigger I fell asleep and she was pacing around the hotel cause she knew that's where all the skaters were staying and she goes as Pam or Jeff in that room Novak said yeah have at it no so I wake up to this chick totally on top of me burning me going I love you I love you I love you and I'm like and her makeup was all running because she was just in the hot tub I guess but but it was like [ __ ] makeup running I'm like who are you get the [ __ ] at it you're like get away from that's what you get [ __ ] a guy can't get raped by a girl that's false yes are you gonna happen to me you have a girlfriend all these times you know I don't know I've been you could have been well I'm going wild in the streets you're right and I think for my first girlfriend I was scared to break up with her cuz I didn't know what she was gonna destroy your mind you know it got that crazy like like and when she read the article of the whole Jessica Simpson thing whether it was true or not she didn't care she just assumed it was there was an art I think Roger actually called me and he goes dude me and glamour at your house the whole place is destroyed your computer video is destroyed there's paintings of teardrops that said you were my all there's a mountain of cocaine on the toilet seat like what she just went bonkers and I was like whoa and I was flying to Brazil to go film with Bob Burnquist like you know what good I'm glad this happened because now you have a reason to break up this is what I was scared of in the first place so it had if she destroyed everything then it already happened yeah tell her we're broken up into the end right Wow but yeah that yeah it's crazy then it's but you kept having girlfriends yeah doing it and I mean was there any point in time where you're just like yo I want to just enjoy this it's just I I couldn't as soon as I was with a new girl yeah that I was fond of I couldn't say I don't want to take this seriously like yeah I think when I got the divorce with Missy though is when I had like I don't know how I did it I like eight girlfriends at once and I was like Jojo eight girls every girl knew about all the other girls but they just dealt with it for the longest time like hey I like you but you live in San Francisco and I live in Philadelphia well when you're home are you steamed up of course right when you go to LA you've seen so yes Miami and etc but when I'm in San Francisco I like you then it came down to it where like nobody could handle him I couldn't juggle anymore and I was just like all right I like Nikki from Zeus's yeah yes I was gonna ask like all the stuff the crazy stuff you've dropped into like dropped in on what was like the scariest thing that you probably did that you were like I don't know about this one that one on Ivar was pretty scary but yeah that but the scariest one was in it wasn't even in my video part and jump off a building it was in the opening montage and I dropped it off of this thing at Villanova which I only had two tries to do it because I could see the security guy running after me okay to stop and it was so high and narrow and I remember trans role was there like Grant Britain and I remember seeing you know all these Tony Hawk photos back in the day shot by Britain so like this guy's here to shoot photos of me I'm [ __ ] doing this right I don't care if I die trying and uh and I got it in two tries and I was like I'm so glad I landed on the second try because I was not about to go back up yeah and climb up there and stare at this huge thing what was it like a vertical it was like it was just it was probably 20 feet and a seven foot drop to a bank like this okay and ah it was really narrow I was terrified yeah yeah that was scariest dropping I think she wanted Encinitas that Jamie built me this whole contraption and everything because it slanted like that and I was like I don't like how I'm dropping in sideways yeah he built me something that was level oh and Raimi Thomas yeah Jamie Tom would the thing he dropped in on was actually like lowered or like downloading on it was an angle like this and I think he built that all night for me to me for to not even use it I just said [ __ ] it I'll just do it oh you sit it the way that oh yeah because I think that seemed weird to using a crutch that was the second try did that one I a lead jumped off first and then the second one once I landed it I just rode it all out gnarly dude I think droppings were just anytime I'd see a slanted something anywhere that the Valley Forge one I think is pretty gnarly too which ones that oh yeah yeah that crazy brick now they put planners all over there so you can't skate it no that's like what you were known for not like always for skateboarding but you were like the one dude who just dropped it on the craziest [ __ ] you know I I was like superpower I've never done a backside tailslide and I I've never done a switch one if I'm gonna start from scratch with this I'm just gonna start trying to switch Tom Petty's house I would always go to the Huntington Park and just tried on this like tiny curb all day once I got that then I stepped it up a notch and then it just became a trick that I could do first try it was weird yeah I had it on lockdown and if you wanted me to do it regular there was no way no way SSB stsd just decided to learn the switch and better bet me a hundred dollars that I couldn't do it on the Tampa thing oh my I really needed the hundred bucks an hour later I [ __ ] pulled it which was a little hubba thing or no it was it was I remember constant in ollie front side nose slide on it and once he landed that mm-hmm or what oh I was never fond of contests though I always got me too nervous and how would you move I mean like but immersing you at the the ratlines contest yeah you were killing it yeah I don't know I when it comes to contests I just look at somebody like Carrie gets who's super consistent like he this guy's gonna win I I can't even understand the tricks to go down at Street League like yeah like Nyjah is insane he's like a [ __ ] machine yeah he split so hard to his [ __ ] ballsack and he I was like he's done yeah he's done he gets back up and then lands the switch frontside flips he's actually a Ken doll he's got nothing how did his legs handle that like his balls touched the ground right I would have every pulled ligament in my groin for sure whatever what about demos would you guys refine those were fun because all eyes weren't on you yeah exactly okay you could skate with everybody and if it took a couple tries to land the trick it didn't matter because yeah golf cannon [ __ ] yeah and everything first charlie yeah you guys must've had some fun element tours because I was a fun colcannon uh can you get huge money box who'd you room with you're normally on those tours I think I always had like Joe France was shooting 16-millimeter and he was coming with me from from Pennsylvania so I would room with him no sick but I mean even in there during the Jackass days and everything like weren't you scared like even just walking on the set or something like something was gonna have because I remember all the things you'd be like oh yeah we man come in here and then a big hand would thicken at one point drop it at one point it became so nerve-racking that I couldn't even sit here like this and I know every second okay because because you know the hand happened to me then then that very day the rocky would get done on me which is you'd sneak up behind with a boxing glove in a cup of water splash so all these crazy things were going on at once it was like held hell week when everything everybody was sneaking up everything was a prank and everybody was on edge like no Knoxville is like but even like nobody was safe like even Kasich would get it like you know yeah even people behind the scenes that's I'm saying like yeah you think on a Hollywood set that like lunch break you're safe not cheese bomb my chicken and we had Knoxville on V Taliban whatever he'd snuck up behind me with a most traffic lamp my ear oh really yeah probably not even filming it just to do it but they would get pissed at me because a big BAM we're on set on a Hollywood set you can't just piss in the yard use the porta potty I'm like [ __ ] you guys yeah I use the porta potti because last time done use did a big blue bomb so now I'm pissing against the portal I trust in anything yeah didn't want time they like move the porta potti or something wasn't it Steve oh he did the this [ __ ] shaker song to bungee cords shot him up in the air and no so he won't smell it but when he's yelling all the [ __ ] oh yeah those are flying in that mouth [ __ ] on his mouth you should have reversed it you should have duct tape his mouth yeah no [ __ ] wow I mean dude you guys must have had it even though you guys were on edge I mean guess they said you guys must have had a great time oh you know like it's like out of all the things that I if I would have known that I was gonna fall into a pit of snakes film and I would have been on the first plane oh yeah but like because it happened and I got through of like one of the if I picture there one of the scariest things ever for me yeah be sitting in there with a pit of snakes that I can't get out of right and it happened so like you know now that it happened it's in the movie and everybody remembers it and laughs I'm glad that it happened but if I had to do that again I wouldn't be able to do that I wouldn't do it a lot of jackass stuff I wouldn't be able to do again trying I known did it make you feel more comfortable they were like I mean it sounds we're like laughing at you because some would I would watch it up like no [ __ ] dad but all you guys were is laughing at each other and that was something that I was like crying about because nobody would help me it was like a hundred snakes and it was like terrifying Wow throwing him on my back and things like that and I was running a school Medicare but BAM don't worry there Dee venom eyes I don't want to be near one I don't want to be near a hundred of them on me but what was it put there Dee venom eyes right great what was the bit that you thought you were going into something else or how did they said look how vulnerable the director is Jeff tremaine's sitting there in the chair okay sneak up in the back of his truck and do the rocky on him I'm like yeah that's a great okay well the truck was rigged with a giant whole fall into a hole thank God so it was just a roof ruse for me too okay guys they all know about it but I didn't Wow my father the pit of snakes what did you it was there ever something that we were like dude that was a greatest that was a [ __ ] greatest probably when we were doing that we were jumping off the balloon thing and it would shoot you oh yeah oh hi in the water Donna was just such deadweight then he just he looked like Buck Rogers flying through time and he had some stupid duck outfit on funny things like that like we're just you just floated in the air so be looking god I mean like I said I was always a fan man jackass - like I was a you know what I like people a bamboo you know what I mean like I just liked it because you guys were in your house and you were just doing stuff and there's a story to fall there was a story to follow you know you guys would set up like the trailer parks in your backyard and stuff [ __ ] yeah I forget what that was yeah cuz the township was really fed up for this film and so we couldn't go mad our own state film therefore what do you mean you couldn't film you couldn't film at your house anymore the city wouldn't allow him like to shoot at the his property yeah so basically we had a rent a location let's like a mile and half away in the next town and shoot there I thought that was in your maybe I don't remember correctly I thought that was in your backyard some of the funniest [ __ ] though couldn't even be shown on on TV like I've ever Dave England was like on Venice Beach doing like you know some old lady sits down to get a picture and anyway he gives it to it it's just her naked finger yourself you need Church and we plant these diapers in there with [ __ ] all over just be sucking on the [ __ ] of the diaper and people were just like throwing up on the like at restaurants just watching this it was real but it was just like our anything can you use that stuff or does MTV own it or how can you put that is something that can never be shown like we pulled up in a van beat the [ __ ] out of Don wrapped in plastic with these fake crowbars and throw them in a dumpster ah people call her yeah I don't police and all that it became such a big deal that like that could never demo you guys did some like kidnapping skits where you throw somebody in the back of the trunk or something we actually we made Brad Pitt stand out a Pink's hot dog line and we pulled up in a van Ryan came in the team an element comes out and we fake beat the [ __ ] out of him and throw him in the van Brad I hit like think about that I didn't know yeah he knew you're doing this right but like there could have been somebody there with like a gun too Brad Pitt yeah oh yeah these dudes grabbed him and threw him in a van I shoot the mother for I like it that could have easily happened we never even thought about that and I remember Jennifer Aniston was married to him at the time and she was like furious that we let that happen really like but he was in he was in on it though and he was like down the do shopping carts and I know really like you push me in the shop yeah like no I want to do it I'm like no no no wow some kid this sounds kind of shitty to say but some kid went down this huge street in Laguna Beach like all psyched on the jackass right into a car and broke both of his legs oh my god so it's like any time a shopping carts involved it can't be good yeah I hate like in England at the Astoria in London there there was a sold out him show and I was with Kelly Osbourne sitting up there and everybody kept yelling jump jump jump I made sure everybody was ready to catch me I jumped and I ran it and everything was safe yeah some idiot from the back got all pumped that I jumped that he jumped and his knee landed on some chick on the back of her neck oh I'm like paralyzed or broken up whatever was it was gnarly and like all the blame was on me I'm white I made sure everybody's ready to catch me I was in the front everybody was like jump with this idiot jumps and now I get the blame for this [ __ ] was that the footage of you jumping and then somebody else behind you jumping at the same time that was a different time in North Oh 15 North that was another time - yeah you know the game of trust go pretty [ __ ] high on a stage if they're ready to catch you it doesn't hurt at all - you did hurt they got you land right on your back yeah done tried it at the track a bit he's diving into the swimming pool nobody knew how to catch him you [ __ ] ate [ __ ] so hard on the ground I think people cleared the way because they like if you spread out completely like this then everybody can catch your weights distributed right guys coming in okay if MTV hits you up tomorrow it was like Viva La Bam let's do this again what part - what would you it would be very different than the real one I mean there's a lot of friends from Viva Lab and that I haven't even talked to in a long time I'm like reykjanes like a full blown chemist like pharmaceutical where the yeah he's like a scientist for really like and you have two kids now yeah my brother has four kids okay everybody has kids I don't even know if they would have the time to film Rica he has kids d collage kids yeah no way you know that but what I'm saying is would you actually do these stunts again oh yeah if they want to do another jackass I would say yes yeah you would yeah I would are the Jackass movies there are they more controlled stunts than like B Villa BAM people the BAM seemed just spur the moment let's let's do this and jackass seems a little more calculated yeah there might be like say safety guys a lot of the times and and like rigged up harnesses like when a horse would fly out and I would be attached to it there I'd be like a harness on my so you would it break your back yeah yeah and that was still gnarly with even the harness rig up underneath my jeans yeah there's like professional stuntmen yeah yeah okay straight up like that yeah Jesus Christ I wouldn't last a minute but in your crew last a second I [ __ ] petrified yeah Knoxville is the worst to be around when it comes to pranks yeah yeah you'll get the sound guy with like yeah Knoxville kind of made it in because of the big brother right listen he do an article like shooting himself with a jet with a bulletproof jacket on I'm gonna taser now in about I can a tasered sock yeah I hate stun guns and all that yeah when we did the stun gun Electric Avenue we had to run with 40 of them swinging oh that hurt so bad Billy like makes you so angry like what was the worst thing anyone's ever pitched you'd like to do for like jackass well we're something like you like shovel car up your up your ass at going to the hospital claiming that you you think you broke your tailbone then when they see the x-ray they're like no there's a car I wasn't a frat party last night I wonder what happened it sounds like you guys were getting gay so like his dad said he would you don't own him if you did that so it was just like man I don't know if I want to be known as like the game right he said you know what [ __ ] it I'll do it so he did and it became like nobody really thought look you're the good guy from right it was more of like you're the not who put the car so I almost wish I would have done that because that was the closing of the first movie was like the the grandeur now I've had some pretty red like memorable like fallen like will the fortunes like you in the [ __ ] bathtub was pretty sick you had a transwarp art Transworld par was back yeah was that like did that take like about about a year to film because they only give you a certain amount of time for those yeah it was a little bit easier because uh you know carry in Manado wearing the same part as me so so I didn't have to like work as hard as the same Oscar who had a full part right who got like nineteen trick she would man with a tie you apply [ __ ] with G right I was shooting with G and tie a little bit yeah I always wondering this did you back in the day did you write for Nike at all yeah I was one of the first on the team it was me Remy Stratton Sergey Ventura Omega Omega and Mikey Qin from Portland Wow maybe a couple of how did that all happen how did Nike approach you Remy Stratton called me up and said would do you want to ride for night you will send you five ran right now and at the time I was like broke I was like wow you know telling like my girlfriend's parents at the time that I wrote for Nike was like an awesome thing but if you tell another skateboarder that you ride from that you they that's [ __ ] wack right you know and they drop these like weird looking shoes that were hard to ride I showed I actually would get a cells from Don Brown and I would tape a Nike and it worked laughing [ __ ] I couldn't really ride these weird like Nikes at the time yeah did you just like unstitch a swoosh and then just like you would sit like Howard or and sometimes they would send me Nike stickers and I would just know the first program last the first like Nike program the Europe I was on it for like a year or more yeah I guess they just weren't selling because they were too weird looking but uh yeah but I remember I did the Nike commercial and I had the kickflip from one bank to the other Bank and my shoes were a bit scuffed up and they wanted me to wear brand new ones as they scuffed them up with makeup I'm like let me just wear my real broken in shoes I'll get the kickflip right away hey you're gonna make me wear these new shoes that you put makeup on looks rad stuff that's [ __ ] it's gonna take me longer so of course what is that they're like what up we treated athletes like skateboarders yeah yo you're showing like golfers yeah getting kicked out from please those are really funny they wanted to blur out the Toy Machine logo because they didn't know if they could get right so I'm like of course you get rights it's my [ __ ] board yeah it's my sponsor they would be honored to have it on they're like yes in a heartbeat when you arrive for them like were they doing any sort trips or like any sort of team just like to Portland Oregon for the b3x games contest which I think I got fourth in the Europe trip just for the contest they're like Switzerland Yeah right were they paying good at the time - yeah it was my five grand a month man yeah trips were counted on bribery but that's when like Arthur Starr was really killing it I remember seeing him at this at the Switzerland contest and it was the first time I seemed like the front front boards on rails and I was like this kid is not like this finished kid and of course he got picked up by flip right away I don't know ROG maybe we should do some pranks on the show or something you know I don't want to be involved oh yeah that would be fun yeah yeah we could [ __ ] with Kelly he goes take a [ __ ] couple m-80s in the toilet but I mean some of these nuns you must have think you must think like dude what if these what if he gets really [ __ ] up and I'm kind of the cause of it you know dad ever that's what was great about Brandon Novak because he was such a pill addict at the time that it's like he would just get up on the roof with the whatever a kayak and you just shot me off this guy because if he got the shot he didn't get hurt yay we put him on a forklift and yeah but he if he breaks a leg then he's he's even more happy because he's like yes I'm going to the hospital and getting free pain pills okay so like it's all win situation yeah when he tried to do the deathcap when Tony Hawk was at the house trying the the thing yeah Novak went for it jumped off in the middle and broke both of his feet oh and he was like on his way to the hospital happy is held knowing that he's gonna have a load of [ __ ] vicodin holy [ __ ] yeah he was fond of that gnarly Alwyn situation here do you learn the day we're shooting on the deck and he came out lathered in like a suntan oil like they would show up at like 9:00 in the morning 10:00 the morning crew of 40 on Viva La Bam and Novak would just be on the big screen TV with a porno plan jerking off and like the crew come in came out with like this shellacked hard punch with only a belt on in boots and he came out to deliver for us and I remember a Hannah who's like I didn't sign up for this [ __ ] I [ __ ] quit know that she had to deal with cuz Novak wasn't getting paid to be on the show so like he would just [ __ ] with everybody you get to the producer Joe DeVito Chatham you order me a pizza I'm [ __ ] hungry everyone know that because there's a band boy is right and as soon as they put him on payroll then he had to stop all the [ __ ] but that's what he wanted on the payroll to begin with because he kind of came in late he might have been in rehab or some like in the middle of all of it and you know once everybody's already signed up for payroll say the house yeah also he was just there and he was there to put some work in like yeah put the hammer down whether it was bringing your stuff bring the funny yeah and he was [ __ ] funny was there any time during that because it was a popular show was there any time were you personally like people would come to you and be like dude we could I got to get more money this is just crazy you know I could see that happening I know it's like when everybody knew that the ratings were the the DVD DVD sales were as high yeah if they sold more than Punk'd but twice as much again just say a day rate from from that you know everybody was like I think we should get a bone like 500 bucks just show up for the day oh wow okay yeah being like a creative on the show and everything like this it's something that you probably wouldn't want to deal with you know what I mean like yo just go talk to somebody else that yeah that's the thing like I had a manager that handle my [ __ ] why should I listen to you know I'm not gonna handle your deals either as a manager or you try to rig the deal that you can right right but and that's the hardest thing like because if you trying to rig up your own deal with yourself and there's nobody represent like I had a person say I know the value of BAM yes this is what he's getting right with Oh jack ass t1 a jack here's three people one is getting this before we even get started because I know his value yeah but if I if I would have said this is what I want you know they were probably like you know there you go but having a manager was helps yeah like yeah they might take 15% but it's well worth oh yeah because I wouldn't have got a [ __ ] right guard commercial without him exactly yeah Terry Rd right the man yeah well I would've been coming to you asking for more money get the switch belt Manny on Lu yeah I'm glad you brought that glad you brought that you know it's awesome a [ __ ] you ever see at the courthouse no no I probably wouldn't wanna holla transition guy but they'll let even like back in the day you never went there at all like let's get ledges or even like Street skating at love park I would just go there to meet up with people to go skate somewhere else oh yeah I never I think I've had I've had a line or two there jump up a building you had a few lines there yeah yeah what was it crazy scene you ever saw it love maybe Chris Cole just killing the love gap like backside flip easily I'm every switch frontside he switched yeah and then I remember whoever filmed it filmed it like head-on and Jamie didn't like that and he made him go back I would have been like I did it I don't care if it was filmed with a high heat camera yeah I did it right you're gonna use that another YouTube to know it back three did back three did alright yeah someone filmed it on like random kid filmed it put on YouTube immediately like I don't care I'll go I'll go 360 something else just not doing that again yeah if I twist my ankle to get a fisheye angle for you I'm gonna be super [Laughter] let's take some calls you want to take a call real quick yeah we'll take a couple calls I know you got to get out of here but so we'll see we'll see what these people have to say and Chris calling from Portland man a we got BAM here on the show tonight who you have a question or a comment form I have a comment and a question okay let her rip alright the first comment it's so amazing seeing BAM back and skating again growing up watching him and going to jackass just in period for a little while but coming back to skating amazing awesome thanks and then my question is what is your favorite item that you've added to your back backyard Park Oh like like obstacle or nautical yeah obstacle there's a museum park ride well one time we had this long a sledge that uh the only thing that that went down on it was Donny barley heelflip manual which was sick and Danny waited in nollie 50/50 but I grind the whole thing and it took me a little while but it was just such a weird obstacle that we had for one day and then we got it I don't know why we took it down but we did but um yeah right now my skate park is out of control it's got all these weird ramps in there that are really hard to skate so hopefully I could take it all down until the mini ramp or something just just fun to skate you know I went to nuts this time you said you were out you were drinking whiskey no the tequila ideas are pretty good too well there you go Chris man thanks so much for calling in man all right thanks for answering my call Nolan from West Chester PA yeah one of the chances of a West Chester boy calling a West Chester wondering about you know the bar the note do you stole it was that something you own dirt yeah but my partner um you know just some shady stuff was going on I was being Finland a long time and Bobby had we have a sold-out show from clutch like damn we must have raked in 40 to 50 grand yeah we made about 8 grand I'm like either you ripped me off or you just don't know what you're doing so I sold the plates oh wow now it's it's called boxcar it's like a Brewing Company local oh okay sick and he doesn't have anything to do with no and on my heroes like oh there you go we were you growing up in the time when were you there when BAM was doing his whole shows are there and everything yeah skated his barn barn before it you if
