Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender Installation Debug Console/No Debug Console [Windows] [Vortex]

all right so let's get this started what you want to do first off is open up Boulders Gate 3 launch the game from thean launcher which opens up when you launch it from Steam once you're at the main menu press any key to continue now that you're at the actual main menu screen you're going to note that your version is on the bottom right which is the most recent after patch number five and also note at the bottom left The Branding information for copyright for wizards the coast now when you have bald's Gate 3 script extender installed it's going to to be placed right where this branding is now before you get into all of that you want to download four text from the NEX page and actually get it up and running and log into your account and get it working and then you're going to navigate over to games you're going to select balers Gate 3 you're going to hit manage you're going to say yes to the prompt that comes onto the screen and now it's going to say that Divine tool is missing this is this is okay this means that it's working you're going to hit download and then since I downloaded it before I'm going to replace the the existing mod I'm going to wait for the prompts to go away I'm going to hit the Bell again I'm going to deploy and Elevate Say Yes To The Prompt I'm going to go to the recommended mod notification I'm going to hit more now we're going to need to install mod fixer before we do anything we're going to open Nexus mods H files mod manager download Once that's installed hit Elevate once again hit yes to the prompt and now you should have bers Gate 3 mod fixer installed and then you should be ready to install the now we're going to open up a browser page and we're going to go to Nexus mods we're just going to Google Nexus mods really quick didn't spell it properly doesn't matter then we're going to navigate to the balers Gate 3 mod page and now we're going to search up norb balers Gate 3 script extender now we're going to go down to files and we want to download this file with Mod manager download we're going to install this one with Vortex now once you have that installed you're going to open up another page and you're going to go to GitHub or the link that's in the description and you're going to come to releases now once you're at this page you're going to want to navigate down to where it says console with the console we're going to come back to the script extender mod page which is on Nexus mods hit mod manager download go ahead and deploy and Elevate this once again C just keep pressing yes when those windows proms come up now this is where it gets important if you want to play with the console to show up you have to do these steps if you don't want to play with the script extender console it's fine to just play with just script extender by itself otherwise just you're done now what you want to do is you want to open up your documents and navigate to your installation page where you have your Boulders gate you're going to want to open up the bin folder leave the open minimize got another file explorer cuz now when you download this file from this page when you download the up the console file which I'll click that click to download right now and there it is right here the second time I'm doing this anyways you're going to want to go to open with WinRAR back these files to their own little folder within same little spot next us out go in here here take these two files copy them open up your bin folder that you had opened for bers Gate 3 paste these files in replace whatever now from this point on you should be fine to run Boulders Gate 3 you can ex out everything actually and the script extender should show up so as you can see now that we now when we do launch the game it's detects that we have mods installed just go ahead and hit close and it's going to load and reload the launch launcher again you want it to reload the launcher every time because if it doesn't reload the launcher then it's just not going to launch the game when you press play and there's our console now we're back at the main menu we're going to hit any key to continue and as you can see underneath the branding that I showcased at the beginning of the video we have script extender V12 loaded built on December 14th 2023 same game version we just now have the script extend under installed so now we can install script extender mods now if you want to access your console while you're playing you just hit alt Tab and there she is right there generally you're only ever going to use this for mods that alter the game as you're playing kind of thing and they have their own promp set up in their own description files and uh yeah enjoy you should now be able to download any any old script extender mod and have it where it run for you
