Baldur's Gate 3 | How to Get 4 Custom Characters

hello everybody I'm just gonna do a very very quick guide on how to get four custom party members in Baldur's Gate three it's very simple on PC just go ahead right click your baller's gay in your steam hit properties bring up this menu hit installed files hit browse once you hit browse you're going to have to go ahead and close down steam completely make sure it is dead dead going task manager get rid of it I'm not going to baby you and explain how to do that just do it figure it out when you get this open you're going to go ahead and hit this thing right here bg3 dx11 exe and you're going to open it as many times as you want four is the maximum times you should be opening it and that is how many custom characters you get so if you go ahead and open it I'm going to open it twice for demonstration purposes and show you what to do next now since you have your many instances of the game working one of your instances should look like this if you have had a campaign before and the other instances should look like this if you have two of your instances or four or whatever uh what should say continue there's a possibility that you would have the same profile selected on both instances and you might need to add another exe so now what you're going to do is you're going to go into multiplayer you're going to hit create and you're going to go into multiplayer on your second and third and fourth instances and you're going to go into the Lan area and wait until this is up once this is up you can go ahead and copy this to the clip clipboard or you can just hit on uh Lan connections and direct connections and you can decide your um difficulty here but once you do that refresh you see your lobby connect that connect to it on all three instances and now you have four custom characters now there is a few things to be noted one before you do this lower your settings if you have a bad PC and even if you have a good PC I have a 3070 TI with a 9990k or a 9900 okay uh I9 and it lags for me so if you have something less than that or you're working with other things just you know put it in Window mode limit your FPS that is all you need to do you can now create your four custom characters uh just another little uh tip before I go reminder um the first the person who created the lobby is going to be preferred over uh all dialogue for cutscenes so if you're gonna make a like Charisma based character you should probably make it the person who's the host it's just easier because it'll Auto Select it and also uh if you're gonna have any uh relationships um your characters are all gonna act as in one relationship so if you go on your primary character and you get in a relationship with carlak and you talk to Carlock in your secondary or third to my knowledge and during my playthrough uh the game thought that that my third and fourth characters were also in a relationship so keep that in mind anyway thanks for watching have a good one
