BALDUR'S GATE 3 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

and it was fine and then Spencer's for some reason downloaded like have announced downloading the other half and it's stupid it's taking forever so we're just gonna hang out while we're waiting because um hello it's weird because her network is through the roof so we're not using too much internet it's her disc so we just we just gotta wait we just gotta wait for Spencer's disc basically um for joining there's so many of you um I do have slow mode and subscriber mode only on the chat because I know today was going to get a little wild so um yeah just just clean just just just keeping the chat a little simple for us today so um I went to see the child she is not here because uh we told my family in advance that uh we were doing this and um our very amazing my my family I love them so much my sister Maddie is in uh and uh her husband Saban they she's they've been on the podcast before they're they're watching Marcy today um with their son whose name is Leland and she loves them so much so uh they're they're hanging out today having having a fun little play date fun time and then um my mom who is also super awesome and Marcy loves very much she loves her Grandma she's hanging a bunch of my make a bunch of my d d characters that I've played in the past and Jace is like what like one of my first characters I ever made and I've played him in a ton of campaigns and I wanted to like try to make him so he's a Bard and a human and that that's all I needed to do um let's hope the locals are friendly there's eight voices some something yeah Hells I woke up down here there's eight voices I think there was a this place is trapped what I think there's a time early on where we picked the same voice for our characters it's opened it's open it's open oh there's wretched things the quest of Nomicon he's like one of my favorite characters so I know I want to play him really bad that's that's pretty good too um yeah I think that one towards the top was like the best if we were gonna make Damon sounds pretty good if only I could give him glasses well that would be like if he didn't tie his hair up um uh can I get the Little Beard oh yeah more something like this though yeah um but maybe it's just because it's not an active I think you get that at level three um all right we are in dire need of a rest but I think we can loot before we do that good stuff good stuff Journey Through the Jungle it is uh the adventures of One Baron von Baron and his Goblin guide Jaws they Brave the thick jungles of chilt I love that that is great that is so great oh kale can learn a new spell let me tell you this because we have a scroll of burning hands how does that work your Spellbook learn more spells burning hands and attack laws we do have 25 gold pieces oh he knows burning hands that's awesome love that I've got a long road ahead I'll get a long road ahead yep that's how that's how I feel for the boots some gloves javelin's in a great club and that'll all be good to take take everything as much as we can I don't think I can wear I can wear this leather armor but I don't think it's gonna be much better than um what I've already got the organizer menu sort by type um I've already got padded armor that's 11. so yeah not really worth it but how's it Javelin over the hand ax it's got the lacerate ability which I kind of like a little more I think we'll hold on to it um okay I think now we will go to camp but if I want to go to the camp that's on the surface because I know there's something special with it so let's go let's go out we'll explore this later it's another cool thing um so I'm I'm seraphis who has dark vision if I switch to Gail dust it's dark it's like actually darker and I like I can't see over there right if I'm seraphis it all lights up because he's dark vision that's so cool I love that am I allergic to short rests uh no I used them all thanks death to fools for the five bucks appreciate it um we're gonna go take a long rest right now though uh you only get two short rests yeah uh Scott block thanks for the 4.99 everybody did any Baldur's Gate games before this but it looks incredible yeah the I mean the other ones are really old so if anything this is more like a successor to divinity um and it's just d d themes so yeah like the game plays a lot more like divinity than it does I like the original Baldur's games so um whoa how important it is that we find someone who can cure us best if we focus on that agreed good we might even get lucky and find one right away as I see it we're overdue some good fortune rest well cool um opinions on Diablo 4 I played it a little bit I didn't play it very much um only only a small amount and yeah I I I think you can make potions I was looking at like the Alchemy section this is crazy I'm only a few hours into the game and there's already so much new stuff and I'm not overwhelmed I'm just very excited there's just so much to do I love the way the maps look they did so good with the maps it looks amazing all right we're going to take a little rest and then I think that's where we're going to call the stream for today for our first impressions of Baldur's Gate 3 which have so far been amazing so good you know what tonight everybody we're having some Sun dappled paella um oh that's not enough uh we also are gonna have some Stouts too and some some poutine hell yeah I'm poutine and some freak freak days it's oh it's it's fries and some fries um yeah and some hag is in the fish head and a fish and a another fish yeah we're good uh we don't glitch out while we're sleeping anymore that's great ah well this is a lot of fun everybody thanks for joining uh for the first few hours of Baldur's Gate three uh I know it was mostly character creation and uh rounding up the party which you know is kind of in the Early Access and stuff but uh I at least wanted to share this with you guys and hang out because I know lots of you are begging but this is such a fun you know momentous occasion it was really fun to play this game I cannot wait to play more of it um and I'm gonna have tons of content coming out soon on the Channel with Baldur's Gate stuff I want to do uh rule conversions um I want to do another twitch uh on Twitch chat I guess YouTube chat the chat plays the game we'll probably do it on Twitch because it has an integration with the game um I'm gonna have some videos coming out about it so uh this is most certainly not the end very excited for the rest of this game but um I am excited for my further play through with the seraphis which you
