all right what i believe to be our first ever runs with rafi let's do it okay it's true i do feel i i actually feel like a genuine pain of guilt about the fact that i spend so much time petting that dog and art and i'm not spending that time petting my real dog i've got a real chubs who would love all them scritchy scratches i'm sure and i'm just letting monty hog him all man he's barking i could expectations usually in that area and that's mobility and well no that's that's pretty much it actually i usually expect to just be able to move around a little bit more and some spring boots ideally a jet pack obviously but climbing gloves maybe if i'm suffering which has been the theme tonight so far mobility and gun yeah no that's the other one that's right mobility and having something to kill him with ooh okay okay okay don't mind if i do you know he might not drop down because he just keeps landing on that platform so i think we'll have to move around to make that happen here's our ujjat shopkeeper killed somehow we don't really need to worry about when that happens and then uh we'll be good to go i don't know where he is oh right yeah he's right there so we're good cool yeah this is a good start very good start is there a reason to go fast in this like how an isaac you get a boss rush there is something in this game that leads me to believe that maybe there's a speed door it's the uh when you go to madame tusks this is maybe a minor spoiler by the way so just cover your ears if you don't want to hear it you're going to madam tusks in the tide pool [Music] and murder her then you get her key which you can use to open up her back door little area but then every time i've gone there there's a little note that says sorry i beat you to it or something like that like which leads me to believe that uh if you get there fast enough that maybe there will be something there but that's just speculation on my part praising me i don't even remember what i said or why it could be misconstrued that's the life of a streamer dude out the mouth and out of the brain permanently well this is really not a very significant stage oh wait no hold on was there an altar did i just forget immediately there was okay well in that case it's a very significant stage it's an extremely significant stage i'm just gonna get rid of these i don't want them around anymore oh god buddy no steal from the shopkeepers instead of just murdering them if you steal from them and then go three floors i believe it is without killing or hurting any of them they will forgive you and you'll be allowed to shop again which is pretty cool that was that was actually the case in the first game too or in spelunky hd parsley huh hello if they die and you don't hurt them does it still count i don't think so yeah no what i mean to say is it doesn't count against you if they die but you aren't they're the cause of their death so you could see uh for example in one of the previous stages in this run uh there was a dead shopkeeper that was the result of one of those punch traps i believe and because we didn't deal any damage to him it didn't you know it didn't count against us which is pretty cool oh man yeah see like a situation like this is so much easier without a shopkeeper it's so much better now i'm pretty sure we didn't hear the black market music at the back there right i love this new tech as well the fact that we can go in here and check this way let me go give it another listen though correct yeah we would have heard it if we were okay good good good good yeah i really like that tech the new tech if you uh go into the uh the second layer and you hear the black market song then the black market's there which sounds obvious then of course that means also if you don't hear to make sure i don't get crushed by the first phase though these climbing gloves have done me dirty a couple times so i'm gonna keep focused on that obviously gonna go ahead and get to the other side first see if maybe the sisters have anything good for me we got some ropes okay let's see i think we go ahead and get olmec to the right side and check out the uh check out the other portion of the it we do it every time is he launching big bombs because of the pack no i don't think the power pack affects olmec yeah those are just normal bombs all right about through the cycle here we're gonna go ahead and wait for him to get back over to the ladder make it easy for us to drop down that way of course the power pack unfortunately has the added uh crutch of not being able to drop or descend
