because i was made for this [Music] uh what is up youtube we got a man behind the camera again the axle in the corner julian's visiting ian's training two weeks out crap it's a beautiful day in the gym here with the bay doors open and we're training back so it's an even better day i just woke up from a nap the life of mr olympia right now i sleep as much as i can i'm just trying to wake myself up so we're starting with just some like light warm-up pull-downs we're not even going to work here it's going to warm up with that move a little bit then we're going to start with a heavy row and go from there so yeah sake so gotta get [Music] [Music] thick all right first working exercise we're doing we've never done this before it's a new t-bar set up row here good little arsenal strength so we're testing it out feels really good if you have like a fixed t-bar row like this instead of like a barbell you can actually pull it back but doesn't move and it really kind of helps you engage your back and latch a lot more so it feels good hardest decision of our day is choosing what grip we want to do we're doing an overhand grip when i do like these back thickness days i love doing overhang grip for everything i just feel the most in my mid-back traps where i'm trying to build so we're going to do this heavy maybe a drop set it goes one two three 14. [Music] all right next exercise you guys haven't learned this yet i've been told i've been able to tell by me doing every single back to video this is probably my favorite back exercise i think axel do you like this too yeah you mean this one the one we did no this one you never know maybe i say i like it so much he pretends to but this is just a great exercise chest supported dumbbell row takes everything out but your back and you can go heavy still so we're going to be doing this second hex overhang grip again and see if i can go over 100 pounds because i did 100 last weekend so maybe a type just the specific drops that just suck squats yesterday dropped i think it was 15 minutes we were like lying over there trying to do lunges like dad probably should work on my cardio even more if you call it the seal row machine type thing but another machine i love i love everything so just a good time to be alive but first two were like a neutral hand grip overhand like this overhand grip second two are gonna be neutral sadly you can't spot on this machine and our style of training me and axel is spotting pushing past failure so we're gonna have to do a drop set on this set really focusing on like leaning forward instead of sitting in the machine or like leaning on it so i can pull like a little bit higher in my mid traps and avoid too much of my lats because today is for thickness not for lats and yeah i'm gonna get to it two right here three come on four five six seven eight nine come on one two three right here four five six come on one two three four five six seven eight nine come on ten power up 11 12 13 14 15 16 17. good job all right next exercise do another neutral rip rope this time we're doing something similar instead of leaning over and pulling like that we're going to actually sit on the machine properly upright and do more of like a row to the body i guess you would call it so we're gonna see if the big boys are not watching tv anymore they're down on my machine and have some fun on there ten eleven got five more four three two i don't know if anyone else saw these old school training videos of ronnie coleman doing parking lot lunges but his little bit of biceps we're gonna move on to something a little more a lot more isolated we do a one arm cable row this is one where we kind of rotate the body twist a little and just really focus on like it's like a one arm dumbbell row but with a cable lighter and a lot more isolated and focused so we're gonna wrap it up with this after we did all the heavy row sets and then dragging some juicy biceps one two three four five two full stretch three four five six seven eight nine ten limb come on seven eight 9 10 11 12 3 4 5 6 seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen come on fourteen 15. it takes a toll on the body last exercise for back [ __ ] forearm back everything's trying to take over about my last but it's a good way to burn it out my back is fried right now and i got a little bicep pump still with the bonus all right the wrap on the back moving on to the juicy part moving on some biceps right now we have been focusing on two main movements for biceps on arm day we focus on creature curl like seated preacher curl which is like the easy bar and we go really heavy and then do a big drop set and now here we do another preacher but we do single arm dumbbell so we do each of those once a week today on back there we do the single arm we do it on a bench right here which i'll show you and yeah preachers is my go-to for biceps i have trouble getting a mind muscle connection with them so i do something where like nothing can cheat my whole arm's supported and just a big stretch and you just focus on the bicep you look pretty [Music] nice one two three four five six eight exercise of the day moving on to a cable rope bicep curl we're doing a lot of v-grip or rope i can't talk right now hammer kind of curls wow my brain's fried right now i'm running out of it i'm trying to like think in french in english and what's what i'm going to eat after this but yes we're doing a hammer type curl in the cables finish it off get a nice pump and i can't talk anymore so get to work one two three four five six seven eight 21 22 23 24. it's your last set everything got impressive i'm a perfect form good come on everything chris one two three four five six seven come don't that's why they wear pants all the time they're like they're like the same size so we're both prepping for the same time he's like four days before me in orlando he's coming down we're in florida so
