other but you always fight we fight it's awesome no cuz I go on stage and then you try to correct my jokes I don't try to correct you what if you said if the woman did this because of this long time but and I admit I wasn't being aggressive micro it was a micro yeah sometimes I read interviews with you and you talk about everything you hate and if you added it all up you would get me but somehow we love each other am I correct in saying that I think that you love me cuz every time we fight as I'm driving home I get a text from you that says you know I love you right oh my god yeah I love you is it me I've never so I've never said you know I are you [ __ ] serious well my memory isn't good but I don't remember doing that I'll show you what you say thank you no texts just exist yes I press save on my tags I like to lead him after a while what are you saving it for you delete text yeah oh I never do because all our friends die and then it's all you have left I'll die I'm up I kind of change last thirty thirty yeah get something funny out of that not good in the mom alright I do like you and I just I've always feel like you're frustrated with me I [ __ ] love you look at my posture right now I'm like I mean it's far over into this chair as I could possibly be I just feel like I can't really hang out and have a good time and you just like like that intro was just like if you'd like that that's [ __ ] eight this guy's a douchebag but he came down here that's how I heard it I think that's how you hear a lot of things you ever hear this if it's hysterical its historical so I think like things trigger you make you [ __ ] crazy and it may be mean something like it comes from something from your childhood or something like that taking time bomb that your dad was or things like that that we're out of your control and you don't like feeling out of control or people telling you what to do that's my theory emotional intervention no I'm trying to be no my big thing I think I'm really working on my life is I'm trying not to snap as much like it's it's like I just have a [ __ ] temper man and I I don't know how it likes it's just my natural I'm driving over here I snapped like five times this guy had the audacity to slow down and make a right onto the street he wanted to go on to and all of a sudden just found myself just going like oh what the [ __ ] really really [ __ ] [ __ ] just go like white high weiting turn so slow and then I I talked myself out of it that's like he probably lives on that street bill yeah kids could be playing out of the yard so I've gotten to the point where I still snap but I sort of talked to my afterwards I don't know if that's better or from slowly going insane but the one thing I would say we that is a train well I don't like to be told what to do no my instinct is always [ __ ] you a little bit yeah my instinct is [ __ ] this but I walk out like I went to this is so embarrassing I went to a some place I was some some [ __ ] airport and I was I can't remember what I ordered it was some avocado toast with like salmon owner to some [ __ ] right so I order it and I'm standing there for like 15 [ __ ] minutes and I'm watching these plate one persons making it and then they just like gave up and then somebody else came over and it's like forever and I'm just standing there and she got mad at me and she starts saying only we have to put it through the toaster like two times we have to get the avocado out she started like breaking the thing down and I was standing I got so mad I already paid for it and a banana and I just said [ __ ] this I just walked away still hungry and then I ate the banana and was overripe and it was all mushy and I threw it out I was like 17 bucks down the tubes and I just member I'd rather be [ __ ] hungry then didn't have one more [ __ ] interaction with somebody that described to me how to make salmon avocado toast and and act like they were they were pouring the foundation of a [ __ ] house and it's just like I have I [ __ ] hate people I [ __ ] hate people that hate their job and I especially a [ __ ] job and it slices like this is why you're [ __ ] here I had this job I [ __ ] crushed it I was a dishwasher I did was a cook I did all of this [ __ ] I [ __ ] crushed it I'm not saying this is the only skill this person [ __ ] has but it's just like if you're not gonna try at this cuz you think you know you deserve a better [ __ ] job when you get that you're gonna be an arrogant ass and you're not gonna be fun to work for I thought all of that over [ __ ] avocado toast I think that we're not different but I could be wrong you feel that I feel I've got you figured out and I just I just think you like me I do like you like me but we can be different still like each other yeah I mean like I like to I don't like being told what to do but I do like changing with the times or something I don't really resist that I feel like you resist that a little more but ultimately you do change with the times okay you got eyes wrapping it up I [ __ ] ripped another eye I feel like with you there's this person you want me to be so you you keep telling me that I'm this [ __ ] guy that I'm not who's the guy you think I think you are I I don't know I don't know who sent you those texts [ __ ] post them no I won't okay I remember driving home and you've been like you know I love you and I was like I love it too does not ring a bell at all the wind the way you just did it that did this one's one of my favorite interviews I had a great time Burr was definitely holding back. He has shat on so many crappy interviewers for a lot less.

I think she was trying to show a different side of Bill that people don't normally see, because they are actually friends for like 20+ years, but a surprise pseudo-psychological evaluation probably wasn't the way to do it. His restraint compared to how he would normally be with someone doing something like that was kinda incredible.

I love Bill. I wouldn’t say I love her but I like her. I watch the show regularly. But having watched every episode so far, there’s some circle jerking going on. She setups these scenarios constantly where she can stroke herself off trying to connect with people of differing ideologies. I like the idea behind that, it’s nice (the connecting not the self-stroking). Except it never truely feels sincere. It either feels like she’s just doing it to say she’s open minded, so she can subtly clown on them, or so she can convince them why they are wrong. That’s coming from someone who likes her. I still watch and enjoy it though.

Woudnt it be fucking hilarious if Sarah Silverman was one of the laydeeesss from bill burrs past relationships he talks about on the podcast? Like she’s the girl who tried to do some sexy jazz dance and he plowed her like it was chore.

I like them both, but neither were doing very good work in this interview (I think because Sarah came in with this weird narrative to push).

She does her thing and he does his, but they don't really mesh well together. They both have a place in comedy and both deserve respect in that arena. I'm honestly kind of shocked that people here are so ready to burn Silverman at the stake... it's just a weird interview on her mediocre Netflix show, it doesn't really affect anyone.
