i wanted to look at this okay and i wanted to see what the most popular games just before 2020 are because i'm actually really kind of curious about this [Music] wait final fantasy in 2004 look at [ __ ] massive guild wars got super popular dude so wow was like the dominant game man i didn't even realize that [Music] i knew it was like huge for games but i didn't know that it was huge for like all like games period i thought they were like console games that were still bigger and faster what never played that battlefield 2 i remember i think that was a good game dude oblivion man oh dude i popped off on oblivion oh my god i love that dude wow is just like bro wow was like a cultural force that's incredible oh my god dude and like look at that six million people playing it those are the good days dude yeah dude those were the [ __ ] good days oh man hey dude halo 3 man halo [ __ ] three dude halo 3 was the [ __ ] game man i loved it even i swapped over i stopped playing wow for a while to play halo 3. back whenever it came out super smash bros oh that was like brawl wasn't it yeah brawl wasn't that good dude look at that gta 4 was super popular holy [ __ ] and look at wow wow is still at 13 million dude look how many people are playing the [ __ ] game that's crazy oh my god holy [ __ ] dude and both of them dude i never realized like how popular gta was i wonder how popular um i wonder how popular diablo 3 got because i bet diablo 3 might have gotten more popular than wow did it was like super insanely popular whenever it came out let's see fifa oh fifa10 jesus fifa oh my god drives me crazy guitar hero ass effect i wasn't really that big of a fan of mass effect to be honest i didn't really care about final fantasy again it's funny whenever final fantasy comes out whenever the new one comes out then it's always popular red dead redemption [Music] starcraft 2 dude starcraft 2 is so [ __ ] big halo reach oh my god god dude black ops was that big i don't remember it even being that great and then here we go here it is oh god oh no i just oh my god 2010 this is the year that all the minecrafters were born uh literally and here they are just taking over man i just i feel like a [ __ ] boomer oh my god the wow dude it was minecraft man and i remember minecraft was like it stopped being popular for a while and then i feel like it got way more popular battlefield 3 oh skyrim dude so wow went downhill at about cataclysm like that's whenever i guess people really stopped stopped like having interest in in terms of searches the same time that uh that the sub started going down i guess that makes sense but still yeah dude skyrim was [ __ ] huge i remember i went over like eric's house whenever this game came out and like we played it i thought skyrim was really fun i liked watching him play skyper more than i liked playing it myself it was like weird there it is boys that was a dude that was so glorious and then people like played it so much they're like oh my god it's amazing and then they realized that it wasn't and then it was gone league of legends oh no look at wow come on wow come on warcraft come on warcraft you can do it no man league of legends stop man dota minecraft dominating dude minecraft is so big man it's so [ __ ] big look at dude gta 5 like what's so crazy about it so gta 5 came out in 2013 and people are still playing it today is that right dude that's so [ __ ] crazy man that's incredible wow clash of look at the bottom dude clash of [ __ ] clans oh dark souls see i don't remember i thought dark souls 1 wasn't like super popular and it wasn't until like dark souls 3 that it got super popular but i guess i was wrong about that bit yeah big dick dark souls there it is diablo 3 again there it is i think that was reaper of souls with the expansion october this was dude this was [ __ ] uh warlords of draenor man and that was also warlords of draenor when it's going down clash of clans oh my god what's for dark souls oh i think actually that was dark souls 3. yeah dark souls 3 right there dark souls 3 was the best one pokemon go i remember pokemon go came out i missed out on doing irl streams that oh oh this was legion right there that was legion coming out skyrim coming out again probably for the 18th time gta cs go csgo getting popular you love to see it more popular than wow okay this sucks breath of the wild okay come on come on wow come back come back wow you can do it this is bfa bfa is about to come out oh there it is they're bfa come on wait what destiny 2 who cares okay all right didn't realize how big it was holy [ __ ] oh there there it is right there there it is see that was the uh uh that right there was probably oh this where are we november it's gonna go way up because that's whatever they're gonna announce classic oh wow's not even on the page oh it just barely got oh no [Music] apex legency i remember that month dude whenever apex legends came out and i genuinely felt like apex was like apex and fortnite it's like really hard to compare the two games however i would say that apex legends is probably i enjoy apex legends more than i enjoy fortnite but i respect fortnite as a game does that make sense and uh i i was thinking about playing apex again the reason why i didn't like playing apex i felt like the graphics were like really flashy and it made it like hard to track players just like because of like how much like uh like graphics were on the screen and i i don't know like maybe it's a personal problem but it definitely was a problem for me okay pub g dude pub g was the game man pub g is super popular in china oh my god minecraft it's just inevitable man all right here we go here's classic wow classic wow is just super [ __ ] popular and then fortnite [Music] oh my god oh the witcher come on the witcher no not minecraft animal crossing wait what animal crossing was that big no way you know what i think it is so basically all right so there's a number of games let me see here if i can if i can do a [ __ ] ms paint so there's a number of games so um let's go ahead we're going to do two of these all right so one of them is going to be pink and the other one is going to be blue so um guy games and this one over here is going to be girl games and this is why i think it's so popular is that the guy games are spread out between like wow uh they're spread out between like all these other games and everything like that but animal crossing is i think is like one of those games that girls really [ __ ] love animal crossing like it is super popular and hi lsf weight twit longer incoming no no this isn't it's not bad to like animal crossing oh i'm sorry guys are we supposed to pretend that animal crossing doesn't have a massive female audience that is probably a much higher percentage of its audience than pub g than world of warcraft then fortnite come on what i'm saying is that there are fewer games that are designed i think that that have like that appeal that like females really really like those games and because of that whenever one comes out that girls really like it gets super [ __ ] popular because there's less of them and that means that they all flock to that one game do you see what i'm saying so it like collectively becomes more popular see this would be this here's how it would be controversial is if i said that well it's a bad game and that's why girls like it i'm not saying that though there are just different types of games and there are other types of games that different types of people
