Ark Survival Ascended E03 A Triketastic Day! Our trike trap worked!

okay we're going to have to build another one hold on unless he can go straight up over that I don't think he can he did it worked we're amazing okay what is he doing all right guys today we're going to go after a trike there's a trike right back there that we saw in the last episode it's our goal to go after that guy again today we need to get a little bit of metal tool action going today I do have the metal pick already we made the Smithy and the forge last episode we made the forge in between episodes we made the Smithy and now we have is that a little demorphed Don oh my God it's a deor ofon oh my God what do we need for aola hold on don't go anywhere a little dorphin on My Shoulder would be incredible there's also a monkey over here that we started taming but I'm having a little bit of trouble with it he's ran away from us a few times it's really hard to see him in the dense dense foil over here but I hope you guys are having a great day welcome back day three of our adventure here on the server I'm hoping that we can get into some fun things over the next couple days I can't tell which way he's moving which way are you moving going that way okay got to sneak up behind there you go there's a little bit of open okay no see I man I just I don't have good luck with it I feel like the the hit boox is a little bit different than what it was in the past although it could just be the fact that we're not good at games it could be that all right let's go work on a couple things I would like to go get a little bit of metal so we can actually get ourself our metal hatchet as well and then we can maybe get the crossbow made up but we've got bows we've got arrows we need to make some train Arrow so we can tame up this guy over here so let's work on just a little bit of narcoberry luckily this guy gathers the berries for us which is awesome I still can't believe you can't pump speed though that's insane but I hope you guys are having a great overall day like comment put it up here I cannot it's got to be on the ground dang it okay let me see so we have that we need a little bit more of that and we've got narcotic unlocked so I just need all the spoiled meat that we have not there there we go 13 spoiled meat there none there there oh there's metal in there got one one whole metal we got two whole metal and then feel like I had some more spoiled meat somewhere but that's fine go like that go like that and there you go there that'll give us 15 total of the narcotics we can make 15 trank arrows that's a good start let's see man we got work to do spoil timer is 3 minutes we can do this let's go ahead and split all so in about 3 minutes we'll have a whole lot of meat so we can turn that into spoiled meat all right cool all right I think the big goal is to probably get let's get a little bit of metal first we probably need to work on that oh wait we were going to try and get something for I don't think we have enough hide to make a Bola even Bola I don't I need a whole another hide in order to make a Bola so let's go see if we can venture over here to get a little bit of metal we got to be careful without being able to pump speed on these guys it is super dangerous going over here and there's usually bad things but I'm hoping that up over here there's a metal node but I don't know for sure just think we should just Venture up here a little bit all right come on I think the are aggressive if you get too close we won't get too close to that guy going to start pumping your weight a little bit who got to level me or you all right you did let's go wait make sure we can carry Lots all right we're going to venture kind of towards the avalis we just got to be careful cuz I think there's always that chance that up here is going to be a bunch of raptors so we'll be really careful all right and we can't seem to find our bag when we die so we got to be really careful cuz every time we've died our bag is like impossible to find there's a that wouldn't be bad a fiomia is that a metal note or a rock I don't know oh no bugs please don't attack me guys oh man we got FIA everywhere up here and a theory I don't know if that's the same de morphon or a different one oh please be a metal node I don't think it is though no just regular regular Stone let's go all the way to this Edge where the oblisk is there's another trike okay that look like a Barry Onyx or something over there don't go that way yeah like if we get attacked I can't get away on this guy there's nothing we can do it's going to be just over for poor poor Perry here I need to give you a name that way if you die we can mourn you all right just keep heading towards the Obelisk I thought on the edge of the obelis used to be metal but I might be mistaken okay let's make sure our stam's getting back up I'm going to just kind of walk for a minute all right let's get going we got music going I think that's the midday music but yeah if you guys are playing Arc ascended let me know what your guys early experiences are if you guys are enjoying it so far I think that it's just different enough with like the looks and some of the stuff they've redone on the map that I've really enjoyed it's been kind of a good like you know reinvention of Arc and getting back into early game Arc so I've definitely enjoyed it it's been worthwhile for me and I know that the issues surrounding it but it looks like they did make a couple good moves in the last couple days one of the big moves they made that I thought was huge is they finally added a testing Branch so now they're rolling out their updates on this testing branch on a small selection of servers and then later on they move it out to all the ones I don't know how this isn't something that they've done the whole time that they just now added but you know still got to give them credit when they do something right I don't know that's not metal is it like I thought there was metal up here but this is just regular Stone got a little bit of metal yeah that's not going to get it done man I thought there was metal up here maybe I was completely wrong n down there either okay let's see what's down there before we jump okay go go go and eject hopefully you don't take damage okay yeah I'll Venture up here I I don't think there is any dang it that's too bad that was kind of a long trip for there not to be anything oh you know what though these Stones might give us enough hold on these might do it usually yeah there you go okay we just need like somewhere around 25 to 30 total metal and there all the meat just spoiled perfect there's 11 12 okay stay with me buddy stay with me and be ready to run we'll have to jump into the water if anything bad comes get the that's not the right one those are yeah these are the River Rocks there you go we're getting a little bit of metal out of that that puts us at 25 let's get just a little bit more okay any more these ones over here yeah I think if we get 30 we'll be good there's one no some of these are given it some are not these ones are the ones there we go all right where are we at there you go 34 Perfect all right buddy let's go okay we got the metal we needed not as much as I would have hoped I'm sure there's like another spot here that there's metal and I just don't don't know about it the other thing we got to find eventually is Crystal but this at least gets us rolling we can go back and get started with a little bit of arrows and narcotic arrows and then go after our first trike so if we get a trike today that'll give us something that can actually fight against thing trikes are such good early tank all right how we doing you're doing good I got a level for me we're going to keep going wait there you go level 28 already awesome we'll go through our ingrams and see what all we've unlocked with that but for right now I think we're making really good progress so let me run back to base I'll meet you guys over there so you don't have to watch this whole run over there if anything crazy happens I'll show you if not I'll see you at base in just a minute oh my God we claimed a baby Dow I don't know if we just claimed it or if we we didn't feed in anything I don't know that was really weird we're making up a couple Stone foundations on our way back that's why we haven't gotten back to to Bas yet we've been kind of taking our time doing that on the way there so we have a Baby Dill we just grabbed uh it's going to take forever for it to grow up but let's at least go back if it makes it back to base cool if not not a big deal either but all right we are super overweight let's go ahead and make another Foundation or just 13 short we can make another foundation and then we we have three I need six total I think we're going to do a just a 2x3 and some walls and some ramps and I think that's enough to tame the trike I think I hope I don't know it's been a while but hopefully that'll work all right let's go boom should make us a little bit lighter there we go losing a little bit of weight oh you got a level two so let's go ahead and throw oh you're actually you're okay wait it just didn't seem like it we're going to go one melee just so you can do a little more damage yeah look at the little baby D just chilling next to us all right we're just going to get right up here and then actually let's just cut across here hopefully he can follow us hope there's nothing bad here all the bubbles vand I don't think that's something that was in the previous version definitely different looking all right just going to cut straight across and we've got most of the base upgraded to Wood we need to finish that out a little bit but we'll do that once I get another the hatchet made up we'll be able to get a lot more Stone and wood collected so we can actually probably just go straight to Stone instead of finishing out the base even to much more but it's a definite Beach Bob base right now so we need a little bit of work over there all right this guy coming uh we might have lost him already he might be too far back I don't know does it show he's not showing up on the thing uh there he is yeah I don't know that works differently I'm going have to look into that a little bit more looks like you have to click a couple things for it to work let's go see if we can find the monkey too let's go back and throw the metal in that's a big thing if a dow baby shows up at the house that'll be awesome if not not a big deal let's go like that let's throw the wood on there let's throw the metal on there light that fire okay and we'll wait for that because I need that oh are you following me still no don't follow me bud all right do a quick wait on the Let Me Wait on the Dow for a minute we'll see if we can maybe find it and have it come all the way out here the Dow seems to be broken he's in the water and he's just kind of doing circles so I don't know if that's something broken with the game or if he's just I'm I'm not really sure maybe because he can't swim so he's just kind of stuck I'm not sure but he's doing a little circles in the water right there we're going to leave him alone the metal should be good by now since we've been gone for a second if we can make up a hatchet we're going to go get this trap made up and finally get on the trike taming halfway through the video finally getting back on task got a little bit distracted but at least we have our metal that's still going strong nice see the smoke coming out of the forge it's awesome like little changes like that I see lots of little graphic changes that I'm enjoying I'm still going to go after that de morphid on if he's still over here so like that okay we got a little bit more spoiled meat let's throw this on here let's make some more narcotic boom uh what do we need food definitely going to need to cook some more food all right uh let me see is that metal done metal got seven I think we needed seven or eight melee uh we need one more and we need a little bit of hide there you go okay one more boom now melee Hatchet boom nice there we have our metal Hatchet we have our metal pick awesome uh once the rest of it done I think we'll be able to make up a metal crossbow but I'm not really concerned with that just yet let's see about making some more arrows let's go Arrow there's 16 more and then how much narcotic do we have all right narcotic we've got 24 already so let's go ahead and make at least 24 of those arrows we're going to have another 17 once this is all done so I need to make sure we have 17 arrows at least uh uh we're going to be a little bit short of that so let's make some more regular arrows just need fiber Flint okay Arrow craft yeah let's go a and make it so we have some for is that a iy on my [Music] base yep and I think he's attacking is he attacking no it's aoron we're good we're safe don't go too far away there you go stay near here if he stays near here we're going to get him I have enough to make a Bowa now so let's do that okay let's go Bola I just need three hide and seven thatch three hide and seven thatch Bola boom let's go get a quick Dow we'll still check on the monkey when we go back over there but I'm not as concerned with him ow ow whoa I almost died oh he's way out there now I didn't know you took damage from your own spikes that was kind of dangerous it's really not good be more careful all right uh so we'll wait on that let's go we've got our metal stuff so let's go get a trike thing put together see if we can figure this out without too much disaster where is see on the oh he's on the back side of the base what are you doing man all right okay back to that trike hopefully he's still there let's make the long Trek back over here and let's grab let's actually grab the rest of those arrows cuz I don't know how much we're going to need in order to knock out a trike and then we'll need a little bit of hide as well we have got seven how much do I need for a crossbow let me see weapon range oh that's actually it little bit of fiber boom okay and we'll grab the rest of the narcotic boom Arrow 17 more oh we're rolling first crossbow replace that one nice throw that back there okay let's go get busy I'm going to throw the meat on here so have a little bit of that when we come back all right that's rolling okay now trike time oh my God we're 20 minutes in and we're just now getting on it and we're distracted already oh land land or stay right there oh I missed dang it can I make another one nope what level is this guy I don't want him to kill my face oh I missed I don't have that many arrows to be missing it's messed up because it says that is it oh man yep oh wait did I kill him or did we knock him down we knocked him down okay I need that meat back don't run into your spikes okay go like that go like that oh nice where did he go where'd it go there it is like that and boom hopefully that'll get it done I think so I don't think he'll wake up on us all right we're going to set it and forget it just leave it alone and let's go work on a trike finally oh The Struggle Bus is real all right eat some food and we're going to probably just have to eat a bunch of berries to Keep Us Alive I should go after a turtle instead of a tri since he's right there and those are a little easier to tame but I really want the trike if we can't get it knocked out with the oh yeah yet the Dow died if we can't get it with the oh man yeah we lost the doo if we can't get the trike with the amount of arrows that we have we'll use a bunch of stone and just hit him with the slingshot over and over that'll get it done too let me just go up here and figure out where he's that it wasn't too far up here oh I think I see a base up there okay the one that we wanted is actually gone someone went ahead and tamed that up so we got to kind of reassess here we're going to go after one that's right across the beach I already lost him didn't I okay we just saw him a minute ago I'm going to start getting the actual pin ready we can still get that ready regardless all right let's go like [Music] so two oh don't don't kneel there three okay just need a few more we're getting it together slowly uh we need a little bit of thatch oh man Gathering is way way better now so at least we have the metal tools so we can get this done quickly all of the thatch all of the wood and hopefully we can get this actually done now there's been a lot a lot of this video is going to get cut out cuzz we're doing a lot of travel back and forth but we've been recording for like an hour already today so kind of over schedule in terms of how much we like to spend time recording in the early stages but we'll get there all right uh did that really put me overweight come on man oh man not having stack mods and stuff like that just is a game changer in a in a bad way sometimes I get this is what vanilla and official players play with man but I'm so used to modded stuff get your head out of the way there come on man oh you can't move either what in the oh come on all right we can make two more of those that should get us underweight hopefully come on and then hopefully this Tri is still there yeah I see him back there all right Tri is still there and there's a fiomia too we might go after that guy afterwards okay let's go ahead and throw down the foundations we just need one more foundation and then we need a couple walls and it's it's like 80 Stone per so we do pretty good off of one of these we can usually make two foundations per Stone not like a bad bad conversion uh well that's only one on that one but see one more there and now we need to start get getting started on the walls and we just need 40 for that so that's way easier all right and we need what three six 7 8 9 10 at least 10 walls so we're going to need 400 total stone for that we go 125 out of that one all right stone walls times three more we might be able to skip some I'm actually kind of worried that the trike looks a little bigger than usual I hope this is going to be big enough to get them in let's go throw down two more foundations no one more Foundation sorry and then all the walls and then we're going to go actually hold on hold on that's the wrong one we need to go with doors like that like that okay all right let's get busy on that so we need a whole bunch of thatch and a whole lot of stone we'll have our guy follow us around so we don't get too overweight it'll just take a minute we'll get it all together the early game of Arc it definitely gets a little grindy in the early stages without any mods or anything but it's still one of the best survival games out there I think why we like Arc so much is because you can do so much we've talked about it in some videos before but basically this game allows you to do pretty much everything if you're wanting to tame dinos or if you want to just run around on foot and shoot things or if you're want to build a bunch of stuff or if you want to do a bunch of breeding of dinos and get cool colored mutations this game pretty much has it all there's not many games that can can kind of emulate how many things that Ark actually does all right a little bit more Stone and let's get some more walls let's actually make these two first there you go just two of those one of those and short wood right little bit of wood all right go gather just a little bit more Stone and we're almost there guys we're getting it oh what is that I don't even know what that was scared me a little all right on this side we go wall here then this guy here that guy there and now we just need three four five more walls at least there's one all right I need ton more Stone okay I'm going to go a and put one there just I'm afraid that he'll sneak out I we also might need two more ramps gosh dang we're getting there times three gathered this takes a minute but it'll it'll be done in a minute a lot of times I'll do all these gathering before the episode so you don't have to watch this forever but but it's not too bad all right 30 just make sure we have enough and what I say five more one two yeah five more total so we need at least 200 Stone and then we're good to go all right one more uh no okay once that goes away I'll tell you if there's another Stone there I can't see anything nothing that bad like it comes back pretty quick but by the time we get this the guy's going to be gone all right let's go like that there we go awesome then we'll go like that two more walls all right hopefully this is enough we'll know in just a few minutes let's go shoot this guy we'll see if we can get him in the Trap I wonder if we should go ahead and make those last two ramps I can make the last two ramps out of wood so we'll do that and then as long as he's still over there we'll get him across the water shoot him as many times as possible and then get our first trike tame there's another de moradon over there a lot of demorphed out right now all right let's go like that two three four five perfect okay get you over here all right let's drop a bunch of stuff on you there you go keep those all right we're ready let's do this hopefully we can get the trike to the water I don't know how fast he is and not having speed is going to be a big problem hopefully he's not fast across didn't look to see if our guy is a male or female let's do that all right real quick so the one that we have is a male let's go see what the one over here is tri's all tamed up too the lowest level trike possible well one of the lowest level trikes possible you are super overweight still you are let's grab some of this stuff there you go do that do a quick drop off what up guys we probably should feed our Dino soon too we'll make a feeding trop as soon as we can there we go good but we have enough to tame another trike if we could find one we just have to find one that's worth taming it's got to be a better level and it's got to be uh a breeding pair all right let's run all the way back grab our trike tame up this little demor fadon and then I think that's at least a good day we'll work on another trike another day I think at least one today is good we just need now enough hide in order to ride them around and get all the berries and everything we need from him all right but I'll leave this taming pin here we'll use this a couple times I'll put ramps on the other sides too so that we'll be able to use that oh this guy already wake up he might [Applause] have I think
