ARK: Survival Ascended Solo Survival Gameplay Series Part 3

all right guys welcome back to another episode of Arc survival ascended uh hopefully we don't have any lag today during the live stream those of you guys watching this after the fact um don't really have to worry about that but I know YouTube's been having some issues with lag um so hopefully everything runs smooth but today guys uh we got our doed we got a parasaur last episode was a bit rough uh we did a little bit of Adventure we got our base moved to a new location we got the basics set up now today I wanted to jump on get we're going to do a bunch of stone runs get the base finished and then um go from there but our main goal right now is to just kind of finish getting our base set up uh get some defenses walls and things like that set up because yeah we got we got hit by a Carno at the end of last episode which was quite eventful but I feel like as soon as we get some defense um walls and stuff like that going we should be fine we should be good to go uh but again thank you guys amount of love to this series all right so uh they also had an update guys um which was they they tweaked some of the graphical things and I got to say I personally uh can see a huge different difference in fps um I actually was able to turn a bunch of my settings back up and and and look guys how smooth it's running I could probably turn it all the way on pure epic quality and um and it' be good I don't get that weird stutter thing and it's it's it's running it's running nice guys it's running nice all right so uh we got to make a do s saddle we got to make a do saddle which I think I can do here in my inventory right it might be a Smithy craft now that I'm thinking about it and I think it is oh I never learned it and it is a uh Smithy craft regardless okay so we'll get that going I think I have some metal cooking up yep we got a little bit of metal cooking up so let's go ahead and get that Smithy done okay so what the hell do we need for the Smithy hide Stone and wood uh we're a little a little short on hides right now I don't even know if we have enough yeah we do we have just enough to get this done I did turn the mods on Ender thank you for uh that that uh update there in the comments man yeah as soon as you said that went checked it and actually enabled them so yeah we're good to go scared the out of me I'm not going to lie all right so let's go ahead get this placed there we go so now we got a Smithy done uh which will now give me access to this which I need hides 200 hides 200 hid tiddes we're also going to need Stone and fiber grab a couple stacks of fiber stack of [Applause] stone okay so we just got to go out get ourselves some hides I got a couple arrows not a whole lot I'm going to craft up some arrows right now fiber thatch okay so um I'm wondering if I should take the parasaur out just for like ground transportation you know what I mean and a easier way for me to get away I'm also trying to get my my parasaur absolutely shredded um so I think we might just go out on foot guys just to not risk getting my parasaur shredded oh my other din at the other base yeah I I might they're like real low priority so if anything um I might go back and pick them up with like an RG if we get if we can get our hands on an RG but we're going to kind of just see if we can find some dialos or something around here damn that dude was fast as we still had a hiccup right there overall per performance is still better as you guys can see it's still not perfect yet it's definitely going to take some time got a trike down there but I don't think I want to mess with a trike especially if it's a crazy high level I got some Bas on me I got a buet actually oh it's our that's the one thing I noticed um I have graphical issu or the lighting issues when you hang out inside of the like the canopy then you go in and out of the canopy a bunch of times the lighting gets all weird I think did somebody say that if you turn off Bloom it doesn't do that anymore but then you log out log back in and then it and then it fixes it all right so we're going to hunt here on the beach only the issue was there was rexes and stuff down this way so I can't push too far down the beach yeah there's Rex right there oh let me move my it's parasaur down that way but I'm not trying to mess around with that Rex oh we got some copies [Applause] here able to get some try to Fe clear of them I should have enough hid so yeah we got the 200 we need so let's let's not get greedy by the I I haven't seen that big Rhino GED bug or whatever like I haven't seen that the sky Giga is that a dow yep it is take [Music] that this is the first bug I I want them to square away as soon as possible but graphics and performance fix that diix what was your question h no flashy I haven't thrown any mods on uh the only mods oh well I I I did add the the mods um that added those dinos uh dmix how you doing it's good to see you um I added the the dinos but I haven't done any like stack mods or anything we're playing uh straight vanilla right now straight vanilla okay where was I storing food I think over here right I got to get a um a feeding chough done up too okay so we got our hides get our saddle here o I can even get a crossbow too oh no wait where the hell's the saddle oh roll back right did I get what no where the hell's my saddle I thought I already learned it oh did I maybe it reset when I logged out and logged back in I know it was weird cuz it wasn't like a traditional roll back we can get iron tools too um I already got an iron pick I'm going to do do the iron Hatchet we'll get both of those going yeah I'm not using like cryopods or nothing like that like I said I'm actually pretty interested in checking out the game without that stuff um so that that's where I stand with that right [Music] now so our level 24 to it's a it's a real monster guys I'm going throw some berries on it we got a we got a real monster on our hands here here we go well he's already got a level up um so we got to make sure we have a decent amount of weight and melee damage weight so I can make I know he gets um weight reduction with stone and then melee damage even with weight weight reduction was that a Bear yeah we don't want that smoke it's a little close to base look at that already guys so much faster and this is like a really bad toad yeah the bear the the good thing about bears is they um they have a they are aggressive but their aggro range seems to be quite small like you got to get right up on them um in order for them to come at you from at least what I remember on abberation let's get this first batch home right I actually have some parasaurs around the base we could try to tame one or the Petras not parasaurs my man just [Music] farming okay so we filled up un Stone really really quick there uh I might I might I might have to do another we could throw additional Stone in here for now cuz we're going to need a lot of it uh Blake what's going on how you doing thank you for the re up on the membership man yeah right here gu exactly and a lowl do is still better than no do 10 times over um um is that a scorpion we got to get some walls up guys this is got a bear fighting a scorpion over there it's getting kind of close to my base the the the thing about the do is it's it's it's a decent tame you know what I mean th Health it's it's no pushover but uh I I don't depending on what level that bear is we will get actually shredded so we got to be careful flashy thank you thank you for the eight months now dude um my goal for this play through is a full clear of the island oh we're screwed uh normalized stats as you guys can see I'm not playing with any boosted stats or anything like that um that's the goal a little sketched out about this bear though um but the base is going to be up updated right now man that's uh actually what I'm working on that's actually what we're working on right [Music] now we'll see how far this uh first stone run gets us I noticed when you're in first person and you get right up on on something or even in third person if you get right up on something the game kind of stutters a bit I don't know what that what causes that but it's only when you're like really really close to something maybe it's frame generation I I do actually have my frame generation enabled on quality let see what happens if we turn off frame genen or super reses uh still does it with super res off turn off frame generation two still does it turn off dlss completely yeah it was dlss that was causing it I turned it off and now it's not doing it that's weird that is weird I mean even without dlss we're still getting decent frame rate so it's not a big deal uh now this is a big deal guys how do what am I supposed to do we can't have this bear here we're going to have to we're going to have to get rid of it now they are quite fast aren't they tame it I can can you Bola the bear guys it's getting close to my tames man this is going to be the only thing I could do is bow it you can't bow yeah then [Music] well the problem is I I could I guys he's he's within such close proximity I don't have time to go build a trap or do no we we got to act now or not at all hoping that he I can kite him off the cliff I just hope I don't I hope he follows me and doesn't aggro to my do here I mean it's kind of making its way at if as long as it stays away we're okay like I said the Bears are decent when it comes to their aggressiveness as I say that he comes back let me see if we could we could work this a little [Music] bit all right I need more wood oh we got to go out far up some wood and then we'll be able to uh build up these [Applause] walls we're just going to see if we can coexist right now guys cuz I wouldn't mind taming this bear honestly I can make a bear trap um I just don't have the metal for it and I don't have any TRS so if I do trap it I got to beat it with the sticks right now we're going to drop this on the parasaur cuz he's really close to my chest over there [Music] he [Applause] parasaur oh that's no good he's going he's going to go after my parasaur maybe not right for he [Music] does how did it do so much damage bro it's going to kill everything bro it was only a level 20 come on stop oh it's going to kill my do come on bro I kind of got him off the cliff I don't know bed all that gear guys all my armor everything it's it's stuck on that Cliff side yo fall damage is is is pretty op man I wish there was a stat or something that you could like tweak cuz I feel like fall damage is way too high like way too high I I don't remember ever being that un like that op when we played cuz that fell plenty of times but it's like yo you can't even go down like a 5 foot cliff without you just your knees giving out I I feel feel like that is absolutely insanely [Music] High I have not watched that video yet no flashy yeah I don't think we're I think the B my body is like more than five minutes guys it's ridiculous every tame I get is getting absolutely shredded I've lost like three Raptors my parasaur uh freaking the trike in the beginning okay thank you thank not been like there's nobody nobody else in the world has had to go through what I just experienced there's no way there's no way because if you did nobody would play this game okay I'm literally just getting slapped in the mouth over and over again I can't even play the game like my arc specifically is broken all right mine my version is so much harder than everybody else's this isn't natural Mr Mark thank you for the Super Chat brother streamer luck isn't good you know what's the the one plus side to all this though I still got my do out of all this stuff guys I still got my do so I can't I can't complain too much it's the game secretly has a thing where people watching the stream can send donations and summon random things in again that's how I feel like it sometimes legit I I feel like some like somebody's sitting there with the fu button and then just pushing it like they're just watching the stream and they're just like you dude you you you you you know what I mean right so let's get a little bit more Stone sometimes streamer luck isn't good okay so the goal here guys I might maybe I'll build the walls first cuz then I'll at least be able to take my time and focus I think I'm going to build the walls first yeah you know what let's be smart about this let's build let's build walls first um guys is the ballista turret any good for like defense like if I got like rexes and that are getting close to my stuff if I want to get them off the walls and can I um is the ballista any good the Rex is down the hill guys yeah he's down there cuz we're going to need something to clear you know if I want to go outside the wall so we're going to have to clear from the walls first let me see here so we'll start off did not get that much wood one swing break one of those days guys just one of those days like seriously like no h all up from here chat all up from here I'm actually going to drop this uh stack of wood off me real quick I'm going to use the do just to hold the stone um and we'll just kind of move around with him then then I'll be able to hold the wood in my inventory but we need a lot more that now the question is how far out do I push the I mean I could always move the walls so I don't want to get uh overzealous and try to do too much early on [Applause] so it's like how far forward do we want to push these walls cuz it's going to have to be quite big in order to cut off the whole front of this area but I want to make sure we uh we leave ourselves room for right now that we actually have space but then I also want to make sure that we're not trying to do too much I was thinking maybe having the Walls Start about here and then we'll cut across and kind of like hook down I feel like this is enough decent bit of real estate to start with and like I said we can we can adjust it and move it later on down the road but just getting that initial perimeter up is going to be vital oh yeah oh damn you can F this big ass tree guys we got some argies over here which is cool because that's one of our goal tames for today just getting our hands on an ny I'm going to be building walls on my base uh but first thing priority is to build uh a gate that way nothing can come in here and attack me while I'm trying to build walls on my base I love you bro uh cuz yeah we're not having we've been attacked so many times and I can't focus and our situation is just getting worse so we create a perimeter of safety and we'll be good question is should I do Behemoth Gates guys or should I just do the cuz I was going to just do regular Dino Gates Behemoth Gates might be a little little expensive yeah 900 stone 900 wood and 900 thatch now the question is will the distance that I gain using one stone Gateway be cheaper than building one giant Behemoth so as you can see one gate here I could build for the price of one beh hey Brian if you right click on a recipe you can track it so you don't have keep checking your craftables also if you hold Q you can cycle through your hot bar and your whole inventory you're welcome oh Lexi first of all how you doing it's so good to see you and uh thank you so much for the tip and the Super Chat I really appreciate the love I just feel like the the the Behemoth isn't going to get me yeah we could do a single Behemoth and in regular walls but the only problem is the regular walls have to go on uh foundations or posts don't they can you just put a regular wall on the ground I like to use the dino Gates cuz you could just plop them plop them down you don't have to configure anything you could just put them on the ground but you can't do that with a regular walls I thought so I tried to do the fence line before and it was it came out so bad guys it was actual actually the worst thing ever I just I just do Dino Gates cuz they're really really simple easy to place and then I can go in and out of my base at any point see think I'm like right here yeah look right here I don't even know if I have enough wood to uh to build this damn Behemoth gate okay so that's the thatch um so expensive guys holy crap yeah I I I could do the the craft tracking um the cool thing is I could also track it right there in the uh really do in the Smithy so we got everything we need for that now we just got an 900 Stone I am going to have to get more wood though for the hope this damn Behemoth is worth it okay so I got enough to craft one of these and then we're short a bit a little bit of wood okay so we'll go cut the wood and then I'll be able to do the Behemoth gate and door we are draining the I need to I need to get a so we could get a beaver for wood what's another good wood [Applause] tame uh but we be to get a beaver relatively easy once we get an RG and go snag one up and fly it into a trap or [Applause] something this area looks completely different after our deforestation efforts here there's decent at getting wood yeah only thing about beavers is they're uh they those are the ones that they wake up really really fast right okay so we got our gate I like this is far forward enough got a decent bit of Real Estate and then we'll always be able to adjust it later on but I want to make sure I have enough real estate go that is massive okay so now I'm going to close off that side really quick I'm going to so we could do it one of two ways I did unlock these extra big stone walls these right here the stone walls large I could use those but I think those are going to require hold going to craft one and see what it looks like um those might require me to put down like fence posts and where the dino Gates Don't see that's that's not bad like sizewise it's actually quite nice but yeah you do need you need the fence post and so I might I might go Dino Gates the dino gates are just easier right so only issue is this blew through all of my wood I got stone for days guys we got stone for days um but it's just wood right now is going to be a pain in the head in the ass to get my parasaur is dead which was going to be my my mule actually I got to eat it myself I mean I could still technically use the do the carry wood also yeah let me remake my tools somebody just point out make get the iron tools yeah I know I know you guys are used to seeing my base uh this is an extra open concept but I promise guys this was temporary right now what I was supposed to be doing was building walls for this but the uh the base attacks have just gotten too consistent so what do I need for this oh they they've gotten too consistent and I I just can't do it cannot do it so now we got iron tools we had iron tools before on but they're they're they're no longer with us they're no longer with [Applause] us [Applause] Turtle hermit with the Super Chat thank you so much a low-level parasaur isn't better than no parasaur because a low-level parasaur is going to become no parasaur almost always see in in a safe controlled environment I feel that um you know any parasaur is still better than no parasaur cuz you know right now if I had this area under control I'd be able to come around with my parasaur right now and load it up with wood but yeah my my low-level parasaur did very quickly become no parasaur which sucked quite quite bad but again turtle thank you so much I appreciate the love brother yeah he's going to fill up really really quick but at least we'll be able to get like two runs and [Music] one [Applause] [Music] w so he's pretty full up I can maybe get one more tree myself it's crazy how like a little deforestation like if you guys remember when we first came to this area it looked absolutely insane uh Nelson there's no reason for me to build house walls first because the house walls aren't going to keep my tames and stuff safe um and that's why I'm building this uh little little bit for the house walls serve zero purpose um cuz they're not going to they're not going to keep me safe from anything like going inside and cowering from like a Rex you know doesn't make the Rex go away it's just going to stay in this area but doing this out will keep everything out this will keep everything out and it'll give me room I won't have to I just won't have to worry about anything anymore we'll just be able to do what we need to do D's walking extra slow for I'm going to do we'll do one more wood run for sure area does seem like it's getting quite quite chill right now doesn't it I don't know if it's just because I have a bit more visibility so it doesn't feel as ominous we really really cold Robert thank you thank you for the Super Chat man um how do I like ASA so far first uh I I I really am enjoying ASA so far it's uh it's quite nice and any noticeable differences besides the graphics Graphics yes um they have done quite a few gameplay changes I mean ultimately it's still the same game uh like the you know what I mean it's not like it's you're going to jump in it's going to be oh my God this is completely a different game uh imagine Ark would like some quality of life changes and then like some quality of life uh like things that they made worse just due to you know being unpolished so I I do I do ultimately feel that um the AR moving over to ASA compared to ASC definitely gives this game more longevity 100% because within a year two years as e would have it would have just kept getting older and older and older and older and older the systems were very you know what I mean so this definitely gives Arc a bit more longevity so once they're out of the Polish phage and iron out a bunch of the bugs you get a lot of community mods in the game gets polished it's definitely going to be a far superior product than ASE because it does graphically look better um you know they have a couple new systems in place that are just kind of they're nicer but ultimately it's still Arc you know it's that's it's not any different um now to some people it's a worse version of ASE because it does have some performance issues uh it definitely needs some Polish there's some bugs um but once all that stuff gets polished out there's no doubt and nobody will be able to deny the fact that it's a far superior version ASC in in the graphical apartment and things like [Applause] that all right so we should have everything we need uh I'm going to start off with three there three Dino Gates so we got three of those well that's the thing about um a Ark 2 um is I know there's a lot of people myself in like the way they talk about Ark 2 uh people might not enjoy it and I know that they they're they're like they're going to run Ark one and two simultaneously they're not going to get rid of Ark one because they're they're not they even said it themselves they weren't 100% confident in Ark 2 which is weird cuz if I make a game where the hell did I put my did I hit drop ball and drop my walls Underground or did I stor him in here stor him in here okay which is a little scary you know if they're not super confident in their in their product if I'm making a sequel to something you know I'm going to I'm going to feel good about it you know what I mean we're going to need at least at least four walls four more yeah R2 is going to be a way different game I know it's supposed to be more like prehistoric uh not a lot of there's I don't think there's any Tech because it takes place after Genesis I never seen the end of uh Genesis so I don't know what happens or you know where all the tech stuff goes but um from what I've heard from you guys it seems like ar2 is supposed to be a bit more primitive no so once you buy as uh ASA once you buy this version of Ark you don't have to buy the dlc's you don't have to buy anything you pay once and you get everything and I think it was what 40 bucks for this um you buy it one time you get everything yeah cuz I remember when they initially announced it yeah you bought it and then you got like it was weird cuz you would get this and then you had to pay $10 for every like map afterwards and I was like what yeah they I think they scrapped that idea I remember at one point they had Arc 2 like bundled into it was it was weird a lot of the they had going on there all right hold on one sec guys I got to get my uh thing on here it'll take him eight years to get this to run the way Arc went see I Jens right now man like if I were to compare this to my experience cuz I just played you know the original Arc uh not that long ago like you know within the past like four months uh I mean I would say it's to me personally my personal experience I don't know I feel like it feels probably six % I I I don't really notice much of a difference between my experience right now and my experience playing as like the original Arc like there's a couple visual bugs that I have that happen with the lighting um and sometimes I can't loot the bodies other than that there's there is no it's not worse than the previous Arc in any way shape or form to my in my own personal experience you know I can't speak on what other people are going through but I'm just saying in my own personal experience it was the only two things that I've noticed so far um that aren't on the level of a but that that to me there's still so many things that are better so it's kind of you know the it's kind of you know back and forth this the one thing I think is going to take a while to catch back up well I thought was going to take a while to catch back up was the mods because you know there was so many mods um over the years and so much time and stuff like that that the modders invested in them in AR but it seems like they're already um already going ham on mods so so we'll do damn I can only do two and this this shit's expensive I don't I don't know I don't know if these Dino Gates were the best idea guys not like like idea wise they were it's a great idea cost wise though we're we're going to be struggling I'm blowing through all my resources right now and I I'm I'm going to be able to get What freaking maybe 10 Gates there's no way all that that is gone already hold on one sec guys nothing I need to worry about it might be I guess it might be cheaper than wall is all right we got to go out and get some more thatch I don't know how I blew through all that thatch right unless I left it on the do no now I wonder you guys think the do's better at getting thatch than my pickaxe yeah Blake I went back um Ender actually pointed out in the comments um of one of the last videos I did that I didn't actually uh turn the mods on and I did go and turn them on so yeah those dinos should be spawning at some [Applause] point [Music] trying to hit the damn uh tree and I kept hitting the stone yeah I think the metal pick is is definitely better I'm getting about 50 per swing I do it myself I get about a 100 per tree we are starting to die here from the cold just got to grab a torch we should be okay with a torch and build some damn stairs didn't I have a [Music] ttch that not going to be enough to keep me alive nope not enough what I need to do is get my damn hide armor back cuz nights are just going to get they're going to just continue just to continue to be cold and rough for am I seriously dying already [Music] for got to get that damn hide armor back and we'll be [Music] fine yeah right now it's -10 [Music] Celsius it's quite cold I mean I if I if I enclose my [Music] base [Music] um does that does that keep you warmer a little [Music] bit sun should be coming up soon but the temperatures taking forever to [Music] change [Music] [Music] we are in bad shape man this is crazy [Music] and it's not getting any warmer [Music] dude like I think hugging this has kept me alive at least um but it's not doing me a whole lot of favors right now okay so we're we're no longer freezing to death we are now just cold it's - 7 now we're freezing to death now we're [Music] cold make a parachute to get my stuff off the cliff Edge I I think it' be more of a hassle and I'd probably keep dying trying to get that done then you know just making the stuff again so we're good still a little chilly but want want to grab some food here there we go okay so we're building Health up I guess I'll take a a break on that we'll go ahead and craft up uh some of so let me see how tall these are oh wow that is really tall guys that's a little too Too Tall kind of that's four High I mean I was going for like two to start about two high so that's a it's a it's a little little tall let me go drop these walls down real quick and then we'll uh there we place it like the slope and then you just say okay no I don't want a slope I don't want that I want the stairs and then you can like pick definitely makes it a lot easier more simple um now the question is a double door frame though how do we do that but is that Center and now we can just place wall with window there we go yeah so my my my dinos aren't going to be in this part of the base I'm going to have something else built that's why I'm not doing a dino gate in here uh this is just going to be my little like personal spot my own little personal spot for h m now do I got to go too high or can I build a a angled roof that way it feels nice and open on the inside I just don't know how to do the the angled roof on the inside because I don't want to do a flat roof I want to keep aggressive because if anything I want to lure it up here and drop it you know what I mean that way I don't have to worry about taming it down there and coming and trying to kill it so I'm hoping I could attack the Iguanodon and Lead it up here and then sleep it right up in this area you know what I mean okay okay they are a aggressive cool that's what I was hoping for to get my hands on some more thatch too so we'll do do 10 Bolas aggressive but once torper gets too high it'll run yeah it's fine um so at least I could Chase it down up here I just want to get it up near our base that the same game you know what I mean um it's not like too much different um in like the way of it being Arc it definitely feels nice and it is nice to be able to play and the game look absolutely phenomenal um you know Graphics obviously play into that um and the little bit of quality of life changes that we we're dealing with so far feel really nice but honestly the thing I'm enjoying about this playthrough the most has absolutely nothing to do with the new update um it's the way I'm playing the game uh because the first time I played the island my stats were boosted everything was just so out of control op on my end um that the game was it was just it was a different experience and now this here feels like a completely different experience like um and this is how it was kind of when I played uh Extinction and kind of when I played aberration I uh Flint thatch and I I played with a bit more of a balanced playthrough and it was I don't know I I I'm I'm just enjoying the game a lot more uh playing it like this I really feel like I'm playing Arc you know what I mean um rotate this like that what do you mean the map is empty now Antonio like from from empty from dinos oh that's a lot of die what the hell so we need like carrots and stuff to make that Curry cuz the thing about the the dinos is you could just turn the dino count up as high as you want like that's a setting that can be changed as I say you could just you could just increase the dino spawn as high as you want it gets buggy after a little cuz I increased the spawns in ASC um but yeah it's uh because we were I was trying to get more gigas to spawn so I think we what did we jump it up to I think I jumped it up to like 10 or so it was it was insane it was too much like you couldn't even walk like 10 ft without running into like 20,000 dinos but um yeah you could you could you could definitely change the amount of dinos on the map I'm not messing with it right now all right so there we go we're all good I'll see if the weather is better outside we can head down try to get this lure that U down up here build a preservation yeah preservation bin is definitely going to be on top of the list all Gathering From I think two or whatever I I up it like 0.5 or something like that but I I I didn't really change anything melee damage would be nice too um um I'm taking melee damage I don't know about movement speed cuz if I feel like it moves maybe weight we'll put some weight on it yeah that way we can use it as a an actual transport Dyno cuz right now it's weight is a little a little sorry yeah I'm thinking we'll probably put points in HP and weight so I don't I don't plan on fighting with it it's more of like my ground transportation get some good levels though look at all that so fast wait out to get him up to about a th000 on weight that way we could go and hit drops pretty efficient yeah our PT right now is just it's taming so slow it did get like 18% for the one uh the one time at eight might go right on the other side of the wall here and see if we can just spot a baby or something I'm back but I thinking about um increasing the dino spawn rate a little bit but I don't I'm a little nervous on what it might do to my like performance I'm not going to go crazy with it I might just like double it cuz I think the Baseline it was like wasn't even one what is that oh caros and Caro rexen we're not messing with that no babies around we got to just deal with the raw meat slow climb right now [Music] power so we got a blue drop over that way got a gold drop in Redwoods we're and I just like run through close the door and then go around and then close the door okay but he's got to make so I might do that I might dismantle this a little bit cuz I'm not using it that's that's the only reason why I kind of took a step back from all that and and started working on other things cuz I want to keep the episode semi diverse the way you guys aren't just sitting here watching me build the whole time cuz it's not all it can get quite boring so I'm going to get this RG trap done cuz the RG will be a very big game changer yeah it should be enough is the New Path finding actually good so um I haven't really noticed a difference in like the path finding of the dinos when they're like chasing I have noticed that the dinos the way they move around they like they're not like stuck in like a single area where I feel like an ASC uh wherever Dino spawned it was like there and it would stay there and like me and the only thing that would really drag it away would be like if it fought something then you know it would kind of move around but it stayed generally in the same area uh the one thing I have noticed in this is the din's kind of path like they'll move around the map a bit more um like like I said that rex that ended up at my base was all the way down the beach um and it and up all the way at my base somehow I don't know how it even got here um and I so far I've actually had a hard time luring dinos into traps too like I was trying to Le lead a trike into a trap and it would go up the ramp and then instead of dropping into it it like stopped and went down and then around the Trap it wouldn't it wouldn't go in like normal craft two of those right so we're going to build this oh let me make sure the RGS are still even in this area before I go building a trap here we did have some Argy spawns around here so that's why I'm like oh you know I could just build it here yeah have PT's always been this bad when it comes to waken up oh there's a raptor over there that's still pretty gorgeous guys them ear flaps boy look at them ear flaps so I'm not seeing any argies there was one down there where the Rex is so I'm going to head over that way really quick and see if it's still there I don't see any in the Skies over here w is that Rex still over there still trying to kill that damn Bronto so I don't see any RG in this area anymore we could head north to the mountain um we're we'll for sure get some up there I was just trying to check this area first because we had a couple spawn down here and um but I think before we go actually hunt the RG I want to get a spy glass crafted that way I can choose a good RG you know what I mean right off the bat instead of uh CRA traing a shitty one so let's head up north we get some Crystal go in the caves eventually but we're definitely not cave ready um plus I didn't I didn't even have a t a tame I've never G I've gone in one cave no I think two caves ever in the history of Ark without a tame and that was the ice cave on on island because you can't go in there with the tame I don't think uh and that one was terrifying and then I think I did another one I don't remember what map it was it might have been aberration but I think it was one other cave that I I had to go into um on foot that worked out nice guys we got to get the uh nrpt is done I made a saddle for one of them guys I think I left it back at my other base though so probably going to have to do another saddle finally can to have a good bit of metal going I'll be able to do the pike now guy we're we're good we're in a good spot got a decent bit of resources to keep working on the wall we got our ARG trap stuff okay I think the spy glass is done in inventory right yep right here so Crystal fiber hide in Wood got another cold event Crystal fiber hide and wood all right so we got a spy glass done and then a PT saddle oh is a PT saddle or Smithy craft then or maybe I didn't learn it yet y why are we so cold dude yeah I didn't even learn it so we need kitens I used up all my damn cats and 230 hide so we need kiten and hide so we're going to need more hide and more CRS and I I I used them uh to make the damn cement Pig which is it's it's all good cuz I could go farm up some bugs um I'm going go farm up some bugs or the turtle dudes right those those big turtle dudes in that cave only thing I'm worried about in that cave is getting poisoned and not being having good enough armor but I feel we can go kill some of them big turtles y it is so cold out right now sh makes no sense [Music] this oh I got a spy glass yeah we got a spy glass made now um seems like they made it a lot easier to aim than uh the original one the original spy glass was absolute garbage it was so bad guys I never ever I actually got a mod cuz uh it was so oh so terrible but now it it seems like it goes wherever your Crosshair is yeah that's usable for sure would have been able to see what level that Rex was but it's off in the cut there it's warming up a little bit no it's not it was just cuz I was close enough to the house feel like I need to have a set of fur armor on us guys just so we don't freeze like not in the freezing area uh Tech binoculars are awesome spy glass now yeah I heard I I think I I seen a video where somebody talking about the the tech binos being crazy good now yeah the torch doesn't work all that well like I pull the torch out and we we're still freezing and that's with hide armor on too wanted to come down here see if we could Scout the level of that Rex oh there we go some kind I'm right there what level are you the level 60 I'll fight him straight up my own I don't want I don't want my uh iguano down to get beat up what yeah and that was close I was actually taking quite a bit of damage there um now which one is better for uh Ken's guy or the is it better if I use pickaxe or Hatchet wish I had a shield there Shield would have been nice 20 from that and I need what 75 I wonder how much better the iguano down would have fared in that battle the GU D does really ours does really low damage right now and I was hitting that thing for like 100 almost 200 damage per head shot so I just feel like the iguano D isn't as good as uh me but that's all that's not its purpose you know what I mean its purpose is mainly just [Music] Transportation the level 50 wrecks right there there was that green Rex over here too that had a baby um the one that was near my base holy there's a lot of rexes that's a 40 female D Rex is G the out oh is that Allosaurus pack D there's so many rexes over here what the hell a 20 a 145 M alley guys why is that yo that packet Allosaurus is this huge and there's a spino down there so there was that T-Rex that we lured this way but I highly doubt it's over here anymore I need I need your hide [Music] bro 85 par [Music] oh those things are attacking me directly well split it's not even that I forgot so much you got to remember I never even learned a lot on this map um I bypassed this map and scorcher like I got a really good understanding of uh of aberration aberration is probably my my well most well-known map I understand the tames on aberration quite a bit but as when it comes to like Island I skipped over so much stuff guys skipped over so much stuff because of how my my um my my like stats were everything was so beyond bloated that I didn't have to I I never even tamed an Aly analice Source cuz I never had to you know what I mean I I never that was before I was even looking at Dino levels because my stats were so boosted that I could get a level 60 Rex and it was endgame for me like that was an endgame Rex for me cuz my my my dinos were doing so much damage um and that that's just how it was so I never had to look for high stat dinos I never had to breed I never had to do like any of that stuff to try to get better stats until I got to aberration and Extinction but by then like I said there's a lot of the early game Island uh stuff that I just never learned cuz I never had to that and I am quite rusty though I I did forget a lot of stuff uh when it comes to just simple stuff but that that didn't go too well guys but I I want to go hunt down the RG we got 42 arrows there plus the Nars here so I'll be able to make more so I got to make I got to make more arrows I got to repair my crossbow and I'm thinking about making a backup crossbow also to go along with it but um we're going to save that guys we're going to have to save that for next episode because I got to get more kites in too uh we could go while we're RG hun we could we could hunt down some scorpions those little things came back got a green drop coming down right there we're going to grab that why are those things so tanky my PT's putting in work okay we got to go grab that drop though real quick it's right there yeah those little dinos they're pretty chill man until you accidentally smack one when you're trying to kill a another T I accidentally hit it and uh yeah that was it was not very happy with me where did that drop drop there it is well and I can get the hide from this [Music] oh nice got some Kon that worked go up to the volcano um but now that we got the spy glass we'll be able to scout scout out uh what RG we want set up a tame or set up a trap catch the damn thing we'll be good from there that Rex is okay that Rex didn't isn't coming he went over there that thing yo that was loud and scary dude but so far I got to admit guys I'm having a good time like I said uh I don't I don't know how the pacing feels for you guys' viewers uh we'll see you know how how the viewership is I know it's probably a little slow I'm not a pro Arc player there's probably guys who have already sped run and fight you know what I mean that's that's just not who I am that's not how I play uh I'm ass cheeks at the game so it's obviously a little bit more slow and methodical and terrible and cringey to watch but I'm having fun I'm having fun so um it's been rough it's been slow very very very slow but uh it's going right it's going uh Jordan what's going on brother you know my hey you know my little brother that's awesome well when you see him tell him myself said what's up uh Jordan I appreciate the love too man I appreciate you popping in the Stream man I'm not exactly sure what I'm playing for tomorrow I will be doing one more stream tonight so uh after I eat dinner and go see my kids we're gonna we're going to have uh we'll be doing one more stream yeah but I mean we we started off rough guys but we got the house built um we got the wall laid out you know we got an idea of what we want to do for the wall uh it's just a matter of gathering more resources and and and just building but now that we got the PT we just got to get a little a little bit more kiten get the get a little bit more hide and we'll have a a flyer saddle once we get a flyer I mean realistically I could use my PT to go drop hunting and just hit the drops and just try to get stuff that way uh but I I don't know we'll see kind of just how the flow is next episode I do kind of want to push up to the mountain get an RG but I don't know if I want to push get an RG or take the PT and go drop hunting haven't really figured out but I think the RG will probably be um a really really big beneficial tame but I also don't know if I'm in a position to tame an RG right now I don't know we'll have to figure it out but thank you guys again I appreciate all the love all the support remember if you guys want more Ark
