do you have a mid to high-end graphics card and you want 60 frames a second and you want your game to look like this so you don't have to sacrifice any graphical Fidelity even during the night this game looks amazing and with a great view of the obl you're wondering can we get even more frames than this well of course you can if you turn down the graphics of course and then uh if you're not satisfied with that you can even put in some console commands and bada beinging bada boom you'll game will look like yes that is how your game will look like if you turn down all the graphics and uh put in some console commands that's if not using the dlss in the game and if you put that on you will reach over 120 140 frames a second but yeah you will have to take in consideration your game will look like this so and even during the night this is how it looks so uh I'm going to show you how to make your game look good if you do have a decent graphics card on 60 frames a second second before we get into the video I quickly want to go over my specs of the PC I do have an RTX 380 with 10 gabes of vram coupled with the ryzen 7 5,800 x3d I do also have 32 gigs of RAM that being said let's get straight into the video boys and possible girls all right so to clarify what I mean with a decent graphics card I think from a 2080 to 280 TI and above is uh is mid too highend graphics cards so if you want to have your game looking like this I think you can manage that with those graphics cards basically the whole reasoning behind this is we bought a game that is supposed to look a lot better than Arc survival evolved and uh why set it to potato mode if you want a better looking game if not you can just go back play the normal Arc so I have tested a lot of stuff out and uh yeah if you tweak the graphics in the console commands here you can use as I mentioned the volumetric clouds which remove all the clouds and will gain you a lot of frame ratees but that doesn't come without issue and I will show something on screen a visual glitch that will happen uh with the trees they will start blinking and stuff which is very weird uh and that also counts for the uh volumetric fog if you remove that you will gain a lot a lot of FPS and you will still have a great looking game but there's caveat you will have uh some some visual glitching uh not sure if they going to fix that or not but if you do want a little bit more performance without the game looking like complete crap uh that's how you do it of course I will put all these commands in the description down below so you can test it out for yourself but uh let me just put those back on I do think the game looks a lot better with this if you're going for the the the the Cinematic view of course so volumetric cloud and volumetric fog uh should go back onto one so yeah see this is a big difference in my opinion some people like it some people don't uh I do like it I do want the full immersion in this game so I have the goodlooking graphics with it and the 60 frames a seconds as you can see on the top right corner or the top middle right corner of the screen now for the graphics themselves in game uh let me quickly kill the little de here what are you doing do not [Applause] attack die die that takes care of the DI so we will not be interrupted so in the video tap I do play on 1080p although I have a 1440p monitor on full screen mode I don't mind that it gives me a lot of freedom in what options I can select and whatnot it doesn't look that bad on a lower resolution uh if you do have a little higher graphics card than mine I think you can do with the 1440p uh with these settings though so uh I started off with Advanced graphics on Epic it doesn't seem to bother that much uh my car doesn't seem to bother that much but play around with this but then the the important stuff is here medium is good enough so that means how far the trees are how close the trees are high uh textures High doesn't matter on what you put this if you have a 8 gig card you can pick pick high if you have a higher than 8 gig card you can pick epic if you have six gig card you uh if you have an 8 gig card this will not affect your frame rate whatsoever I believe you can change this around this will not affect your frame rate if you do have all the vram available to you postprocessing keep this on medium don't go low it will look plasticky if you play around this I think medium is the best way to go uh then the two big ones that give the best visual uh presentation to the game is the general shadows and uh the global illumination so the global illumination will make the lighting look so good so supreme but it will come with a cost you will lose a lot of frame rate but I have high on both and I still manage to get the 60 frames a second then these go on low I don't really see any difference on here the foliage is going to be less or more if you want more foliage you can turn this up but I turn this on low because I don't like the foliage it's like the little rocks let me show you it's like these little rocks here on the floor and stuff like that uh if if you want if you want less of them you just put it on low if you want more you put it in high it it does give you a little less frames but if you have something to spare and you like those uh by all means put them on but I would suggest putting these on low uh and then motion blur of course off light Bloom I take I put it off because it's like a really shiny if you put that on light shaft is a beautiful one put that on uh this one is also it it changes the little a little bit of the lighting on the leaves and stuff like that it's not really visible but you can play around with this one I would I would suggest putting this off and this is also one if you like the ripples in in in the in the water water which is a a neat feature can I showcase this yeah not sure if you can see but the ripples in the water here and if I run here you can see the the ripples in the water that's what this does and of course also when you walk through the bushes here that's also what this does if that doesn't affect your frame I would suggest if you really want the full immersion put that on um other than that what else do we have uh I put all these on the 0.5 uh because yeah the distance doesn't really matter because you only can see those so far uh footsteps off or both of the footstep particles and uh decals off this one I put on on but every time I put this one on zero not sure what this one does though uh every time I relaunch the game it's back on 0.5 so I don't know what that does for the RTX one I really recommend if you do have an an RTX card uh put on dlss uh because if you don't uh the cloud will Shimmer or like have a little glitch in them maybe I can show it off if it will do it so if I turn it off not sure if you can see it on on the video but if you look close to that cloud there in front of me it like it it like Jitters and stuff also in the in the trees see I'm running it without the uh dlss so now this is full native so if I turn it on again and I'll I take quality I think quality is the best one the other ones do give a little bit more performance but not that much but the the visuals are not that great with them so see I turn it on and now that's gone so that fixes that problem you have more frames and uh it looks better so if you do have a 40 series card I would recommend turning on the frame generation uh you will get a lot more frames I think 30% more you will have the same input lag as you would have 60 but you will have 19 frames a second which will be a lot smoother but I think for a game like Arc that's kind of okay and uh this is pure preference viewing Bob turning it off um and then if you go into UI you can do a melee camera animation off that's when you hit your uh your pickaxe this one you don't get like the weird uh the the camera movement I don't know why that's not in the camera section but uh it is in UI so if you're looking for this one in UI that's for your melee uh melee camera animation and the camera view Bob is in camera itself so when you run your your screen doesn't go up and down all the moving around will make you motion chick after a while I know there's a lot of guides uh on the on YouTube that telling you how to get the best and maximum FPS possible we bought this game I did buy this game for the visuals uh and of course quality of life features as uh like the building stuff but uh I bought this game for the visuals and I want to play it with the visuals and you can see I'm Still rocking 60 frames a second sometimes it will dip to 50 uh if you do use a torch for some reason at some points in the day it will drop to 40 not sure why but it is what it is I think it's due to the lighting uh but yeah I think that about covers it if you do want more informative videos on Arc survival I sended feel free to let me know in the comments or just by simply liking the video uh that would mean the world to me would really help me out a lot and that way I know you like this kind of stuff so thank you everybody for watching this video and I hope I will see you in the next one of course by [Music] he
