what's going on guys in this video i'm gonna go over my thoughts on the new inazuma craftable weapons if i think they're worth crafting who i would personally use them on and if refinements on each of these weapons are really worth your resources i've seen a lot of mixed opinions on these new craftables and wanted to put my thoughts out there after doing some math comparing these to the current weapons in the game if it isn't clear by my r5 ammonoma kageyuchi i do think this is a very good weapon to invest into i don't really think any of these weapons are a bad investment besides maybe the catalyst at this point in time but most of these are outperformed by other four-star weapons in the game that said gentian can be kopium overload and there are definitely players who haven't summoned enough or just haven't gotten lucky enough to get one or more of the better weapons to use on their characters i always thought the decent support weapons with energy recharge were what was lacking most from the craftable options so the addition of these i think is overall very good for free-to-play players we all also play this game differently a lot of people like to invest heavily into weapons or artifacts that they can swap between characters and that is probably the most efficient approach i personally hate shuffling around artifacts and weapons and much prefer the characters that i use regularly to be built and ready to use at abyss reset or challenging events so maybe you just want some extra weapons that you can permanently keep on a character how do you guys feel about these new weapons and are you crafting any for your characters let me know in the comments with that out of the way let's get into these weapons let's start with the sword amenoma kageyuchi which has an attack percent stub sat and gives flat energy when you use your burst based on the number of elemental skills performed in my opinion this is a very good sword we not only have a damage boosting sub stat but can get half or more of our burst costs back for free on several current characters there's not a single current craftable weapon with an attack percent sub stat or one that gives energy making this sword fill two niches this is a pretty safe weapon to craft for general use as attack will boost all damage sources on the majority of characters in the game and energy is needed on almost all support characters as well as some main dps units in my opinion this sword is mostly competing with the flute with its attack percent sub stat and in some ways the festering desire which gives energy recharge and a damage increase strength wise the flute and ammonoma have essentially equal damage scaling at refinement 5 the flute does give a bonus physical damage hit of 200 of attack approximately every 5 seconds but this is really only good on main dps units and especially those relying on physical damage ammonoma however gives very high amounts of energy at high refinements at r5 on a character like gene this can provide over half of the energy needed for genes burst and allow you to not build any energy recharge and invest exclusively into damage the characters that i think this can work well on are ayaka animo and electro traveler jean kaya and bennett all of whom are attack scaling characters who benefit from energy recharge i do think that refinements on this weapon are 100 worth it characters with 80 burst costs like ayaka and traveler will benefit most from higher refinements as well as those who typically leave the field before collecting particles created from their ability at r1 characters who can cast 3 elemental skills before their burst cooldown is up like gene will gain 18 energy from the sword passive alone which may be enough to avoid building any recharge depending on playstyle in team comp at r5 this equates to 36 energy which is likely overkill for a lot of characters the other characters mentioned can only practice effect twice during their burst cooldown so higher refinements may be more beneficial the fact that this passive has only a 5 second cooldown means that it works very well for characters with a short skill cooldown and high burst cost and makes it more versatile than some of the other new craftable weapon options the claymore i think is another very welcome addition to the craftable lineup and one that is overall pretty good for most claymore support characters this weapon is competing with the sacrificial and fuvonius greatswords and has a base attack and energy recharge sub stat that is in between the stats of these two other weapons that already puts it in a pretty good spot a refinement one this weapon gives six percent elemental skill damage and causes the character to lose three energy upon casting an elemental skill and gain three energy every two seconds for six seconds after this is a net six energy if you have energy upon casting or nine energy if you don't meaning that the best time to proc the weapon passive is after casting your elemental burst and this can only occur every 10 seconds this is overall a pretty small boost to damage as well as energy gain with that said sacrificial and fuvonius weapons both become much much stronger at high refinements with a guaranteed particle generation every 6 seconds for fevonius and elemental skill cooldown reset every 16 seconds for sacrificial at lower feminines both of these families of weapons feel pretty under-forming to me if you need to batter your team fevonius weapons are great but i don't find sacrificial to be a great option for most claymore users currently in the game even with bado's high elemental skill damage she can only take advantage of this passive every third elemental skill if used on cooldown and the extra field time coupled with the ability to miss a perfect counter results in some diminishing returns chongyoon is a character that benefits from sax sword especially if you're using him primarily for his cryo infusion but with his low burst energy cost i think he's generally better off with damage based weapons with the current energy recharge weapons being fine i think the disclaimer is also fine on most claymore users aside from noel who already has the craftable white blind and that it is one of the best four star options for beta with her high burst cost and energy generation issues beto generates between two and four energy per elemental skill depending on the counter level so if you want to remove some rng from energy generation the guaranteed energy per skill cast for this weapon is pretty decent overall even at r5 this weapon only gives 12 skill damage and a net 12 energy when casting a skill so if you just need an energy recharge based weapon i think that this weapon is fine at r1 and isn't necessarily worth refining unless you have a lot of spare billets lying around now onto the new craftable hama yumi bow at the moment i think this is only really worth crafting for yomiya and child and only if you do not have rust and can craft this bow at a higher refinement level than r1 i'm a dolphin who's played gentian since day one and have only ever gotten a single rust so it is definitely possible that you don't have any copies on your account this bow has a lower base attack than prototype crescent and rust but makes up for it with its higher attack percent sub stat at r1 rust increases normal attack damage by 40 which goes up to 80 percent at refinement 5 and this passive does not have any conditions at r1 hama yumi only gives 16 normal attack damage when you're less than 100 energy and 32 when you have your burst up this weapon therefore does not reach the normal attack scaling of a refinement one rust until refinement 2 and is conditional on you not using your elemental burst for normal attack characters this weapon is outscaled unless you can get very high refinements in my opinion that said if you do not have rust or can get high refinements on the hamiyumi it is a great free-to-play option for yomiya and likely future characters and i do recommend refining this weapon if you do choose to equip it as it equates to a straight damage bonus i think this weapon is okay for child but sacrificing your burst damage isn't ideal for charge attack based characters like gonyu this weapon can be situationally better than the craftable prototype crescent with both buffs active at similar refinements these weapons do almost equivalent charge attack damage however gonu does get a 20 crowd damage bonus when inside her burst which you will lose out on with this new bow crescent also gives an attack percent buff which affects all of gonu's damage but is dependent on heading enemy weak points which isn't always practical or possible both of these weapons have their upside and downside on ganyu and i think both are fine options but will not personally be swapping my prototype crescent for the reason just mentioned next up is the new craftable catalyst the haku shin ring this weapon has a high base attack and an energy recharge substance but has a very specific passive that gives elemental damage bonus to elements involved in an electro reaction triggered by the catalyst user this limits the use of the passive to electrocatalyst users like lisa or a character like mono or sucrose who could cause an electrocharged reaction this makes it very hard to recommend crafting this weapon at the moment as it is very niche but as we saw with the craftable dragon spine weapons which relied on enemies being affected by cryo we did receive eula and rosaria several patches later who could make good use of those weapons if you're using this weapon solely to buff teammates thrilling tails is just a better overall option as essentially everyone can get this weapon to r5 as you can see an r5 thrilling tales provides a bigger overall damage boost in an r5 haku shin by a fairly significant amount for an electro character like vado with so many decent catalysts in the game this is just not a must crap this is only really the second accessible four or five star catalyst in the game with an energy recharge sub stat so it does have that going for it i guess if you need energy recharge i would just go with the fevonius codex personally and generate some additional energy for your team over the minor damage buff that this weapon provides okay last but not least the new craftable pole arm this is overall a pretty good weapon for xiang ling providing energy recharge lacking from something like the dragon's bane plus significantly more damage than something like fevonius lance or prototype star glitter xiangling is one of those characters like beto that seems to have a nearly impossible burst to fill without very high energy recharge and or bennett as a pyro battery this weapon has an elemental mastery sub-stat but otherwise shares the same weapon passive as the new craftable claymore the elemental mastery secondary stat and damage bonus passive are outscaled by dragonspain but the additional energy is definitely needed and welcome for this character unfortunately xiangling really benefits most from increases to her elemental burst damage which this weapon does not provide even then i am planning to craft this weapon for shang ling and refine it because i value energy regeneration on support shang ling over the relatively small increase in damage that dragon's bane provides while this weapon shares the same passive as the claymore i do think refinements on this weapon are more worth it as it does not have an energy recharge sub stat like the claymore does i do not want to end this video without a word of caution in addition to the new craftables we got a very pog new support artifact set the emblem of the severed fate this artifact set is very good for any characters that rely on significant energy recharge to get their burst up some of these new weapons replace the energy recharge stat with flat energy generation and therefore worked pretty poorly overall with this new artifact set if you're considering running this new artifact set on any of your support characters you may want to go with more traditional energy recharge based weapons rather than crafting some of these in the end there are always trade-offs but it is something to consider well that's all i got for you guys today if you guys found this video helpful please leave a like and consider subscribing i put out ganshin impact videos just like this one every single week i'll see you guys for the next video peace
