well come on and put those hands together tonight for the lord everybody oh come on we can do better than that let's celebrate the lord hallelujah come on i see hands but i don't hear your voices he's worthy to be praised that's it come on while you're clapping why don't you open your mouth and give him praise and glory thank you jesus what a great almighty god we serve amen let's give those testimonies amen a great big round of applause amen let's thank god and let the redeemed of the lord say so amen did a great job amen god bless you certainly we're blessed to be wait hold it y'all sit down i just said god bless you that's all but for some of you it wasn't your time to testify and the rest of it wasn't your time to speak but there's something you can't do why don't you take a moment good to be where the saints are isn't it amen i'm telling you when people understand you amen when you feel the love love of god flowing from one person to the next thank god amen for the house of the lord i was i was glad the psalmist said when they said unto me it's time to go to church amen some folk get glad when they get invited a whole lot of places but if you understood the benefit you'd be glad amen when it was time to go to church you get some good understanding in the house of the lord amen the psalmist said i was envious i forgot all about the fact that god was good to israel my mind was focused on the fact that the wicked seemed like they prospering he was good to israel but i couldn't see that because i was busy looking at how good the wicked was doing he said but then i went to church and i got a good understanding amen i understood that serving the lord don't just pay off after a while look at some of that and tell them it's paying off right now oh that's i understand it i'd rather have jesus than silver and gold amen some folk value that stuff and forget about their soul but i'd rather have jesus amen and that's no other place i could get this kind of understanding amen other than the house of the lord amen and i thank god we just have a great time in the lord every time we come amen if you were not here this weekend we had a great great time it and for those of you that rush home after service lord you missed it amen sunday night god wasn't through amen just because we say amen amen don't mean god is through god stop through amen amen by each seed walk down every row gave us a blessing to take with us over the course of the week and i'm telling you it just feels great to start your week out with a praise god certainly amen showered us on sunday night with his blessing and his favor and we're back here tonight amen to hear what the lord would say to his people look at somebody and tell them neighbor there is a word from the lord oh and tell them i am a lover of the word of our god i love mine enough to have brought it with me you got yours don't you come on hold that power up thank god because everything else is going down but what everything but the word of the lord amen last tuesday night amen we were here and one of the elders came to me i won't call his name because he wasn't here last tuesday night he came he said now what did you preach he said the saints won't even loan me a dollar to put in the offering i can't even borrow no money to give ain't no telling he might hold somebody the book of ephesians amen amen the sixth chapter i want to call your attention to the 10th through the 12th verses ephesians chapter number 6. verses 10 11 and 12. and we thank god for pastor and sister demons being here with us tonight amen from full gospel garland number two amen ephesians 6 10 11 and 12 when you have it say amen read what the bible says finally my brethren finally my brethren be strong in the lord be strong in the lord after everything has been said and done finally when everything else that you could do you've exhausted that measure when you feel like you've done everything he said finally be strong in the lord read and then the power of his might and in the power of his might put on the whole armor of god re that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil against the wiles the trickery the deceitfulness of the devil amen he's a trickster he's a deceiver he's the enemy of your soul amen the bible says you've got to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil he's got a whole lot of stuff up his sleeve to try to turn your heart away from god to try to turn you around and get you to believe amen that this life is not the life for you to live but you've got to stand against the wiles of the devil and if you're not careful amen after you were so sure about god even after you were so sure about what god told you if you're not careful you'll allow the enemy to bring circumstances so strong amen that it will cause a deception even in your mind and you'll start questioning now what you were so sure about three months ago amen because the devil is a very successful trickster and that's why he says you've got to be able to stand against that he's going to try it but you've got to have the power the will the determination you've got to have an assurance in god that helps you to stand amen when the enemy is telling you to run the other way i'm just trying to figure out if there's anybody left here amen that's determined to stand he thought sometimes it's hard just to stand amen you ain't trying to run a marathon and sometimes it's not that you're trying to sprint amen sometimes you've got to settle yourself because it's hard enough just to stand when the winds are blowing so hard like we see it now amen with change it's on everybody's lips for you to be strong and stable now it takes some strength in god amen sometimes it's not that you're trying to climb to the top of the ladder you're not trying to be better than nobody you're just trying to stay where god puts you and not allow the devil to take you back but he said even though it's a challenge you can stand even when standing seems like the hardest thing to do and i've seen people in hurricanes trying to report the news the wind blowing and you see them leaning all in the polls talking into the come on now hey man get somewhere but that's the way it is in the spirit sometimes the winds of change are blowing so hard amen that sometimes it's a challenge just for you to stand you're just trying to make it a man trying to remain safe from one sunday to the next and the devil is trying his best to turn you around you've got to watch it because the devil is full of tricks read what the bible says for you wrestle not for we wrestle not against flesh and blood against flesh and blood but against principalities but against principalities against powers powers against the rulers the rulers of the darkness of this world of the darkness of this world and this is a dark world we're living in i want you to be so foolish hey man because sometimes people think oh man things are going so good let me tell you something this is a dark world we're living in there's so much wickedness in this world you can't even imagine all the stuff that some people are doing i was reading y'all i saw an article where a teenager right after prom took her baby buried it she had a baby i guess at home buried it in the backyard and when they found it when they dug and show evidence where she tried to burn it i mean people's minds are so wicked now this is a dark world y'all can quiet amen i mean you got people now uh that are voting against acts that would protect babies if they were born alive now come on y'all how crazy can we get that there is some darkness in this world are y'all getting quiet on me here tonight he says but we've got to be able to stand against it for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world really against spiritual wickedness against spiritual wickedness in high places in high places oh god there's a spirit behind what we're seeing now amen and we as the people of god we still have the responsibility amen to get out in front of this thing amen and to be who god called us to be we've got to go out we've got to stand now amen like we have never stood before and it's not just that we're standing amen for the principles on which the church is governed because we just simply want to see the church at large go forward amen but listen in the midst of all of that we've got to make sure that we are saved at the end of the day you've got to know the church is going to survive look at somebody and tell them the church will survive amen don't worry about the church jesus said upon this rock i'll build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it the church is going to survive a hundred years from now should the lord parry the church will still be here are y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you you ought to be glad about that hey man companies fold up y'all getting quiet hey man whole corporations amen will no longer be just give them a little while amen you'll see large entities banks amen close up shop they meant countries come countries go empires rise empires fall amen but a thousand years from now if the lord should parry the church will survive you've got to know that we are a part of something amen that the devil cannot do away with but i want you to know that in the midst of that larger context there are those of us that realize that this is also an individual affair not only am i trying to make sure that i do my part amen in the progression of the kingdom agenda but i've also got to make sure that i myself am not a castaway at the end of the day you've got to know today brothers and sisters that there is a war going on there's a wild there's a fight for your soul as a matter of fact look at somebody telling me but there's a war going on and you better fight god that's what i'm gonna talk to somebody tonight there's a war going on and you got to fight amen we can't sit on the sidelines now amen we got to get up and we've got to do what god called us to do we've got to be determined to live holy to walk up right he meant to obey the will and the word of the lord because the devil is trying to snuff people out and sadly he's been more successful than some people want to give him credit for being now we don't magnify the devil i'll never magnify he remember anybody but now come on let's be real he has been successful down through the years at taking people who look like they were so solidly stable and causing them to turn around if he could get judas after judas walked with jesus christ for three and a half years amen then those of us amen that are saying that we're called by the name of the lord we've got to dig our heels in now and be willing to fight just to stay here oh god i wish i could get somebody to look at your name and tell them there's a word going on and telling me you gotta fight brothers and sisters as i hasten tonight we're at a point in a place where it seems as if the more amen we look and survey the scene now spiritually and in the church world we can see that we have as a whole not everybody but as a whole the church world has lost a basic understanding of even spiritual truth even the most basic understandings have seemingly eluded people in this generation amen people now cannot see the grasp the spiritual truth it seems like they're so carnal like they're so fleshly so natural that they cannot grasp spiritual truth even the most simple and the most basic amen uh theological beliefs now seem like a baffling people is hell real come on now as much as jesus talked about hell you mean to tell me we still struggling trying to figure out is it real or is it not let me tell you something jesus said there was a man that went to hell and if jesus said he went there i couldn't he's still there right now y'all getting quiet we can't even see the grass spiritual truth can i be saved can i be delivered what what is the purpose of coming to church amen there was a time when people understood what salvation was all about but now you've got folk that are in the pulpit that don't even understand the spiritual truth behind salvation come on now if you're in the water y'all get quiet here and your million miles away from land and i throw you a donut i didn't save you y'all getting quiet hey man cause you still out there hey man i've got to get you out of that and then if that got in here i gotta get that out of you and then you're saving y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you so that means that if we're going to be saved like the bible said he's calling for us to be he's got to bring us out of sin and at the same time he got to take the sin out of us and come on now amen we don't even understand basic spiritual truth now amen cannot be delivered what you know what save me save means to be delivered amen you know what new is if any man be in christ he's a new creature all things pass away and behold all things become new amen come on now we know what new is all about until it comes to being saved when it comes to being saved all of a sudden now we have no idea what being new is all about we'll go to a car lot and they can't fool us with a used car you always say nothing we'll go to a furniture shop they can't fool us with used furniture but then we come to church and we act like we don't know what new means you know what new means it means the stuff you used to do you don't do that stuff anymore it means places that you used to go you don't go to them places anymore that means that junk that used to come out of your mouth you don't say that stuff it touch somebody and tell them i know what new is oh god but the devil's trying to blind us now he meant so that we cannot even have a basic understanding of spiritual truth everything now is so shallow and that's why people love going to some churches amen but they despise other churches even because everything now is so shallow that we're afraid for somebody to preach to us the truth everything now is so surface level that we're afraid for people to deal amen would step deep down in our hearts we're afraid for them to deal with the soul of a man and so we want to confine people to only speaking to us on a shallow amen level something that's not very deep at all so we can come to church amen and we can hear about blessings but when they come to living right walking upright living holy then we call that judgmental because you're telling me stuff amen that goes deeper than what i feel like you should talk about talk about success talk about healing talk about money talk about more talk about love y'all hearing me here tonight amen but now don't talk to me about something that's going to cause me to come face to face with myself and have to make a decision that i'm not ready to make right now don't tell me anything about what god requires of me because if you tell me then i'll know it and if i know it it'll be in the back of my mind while i'm doing the opposite of what you told me god want me to do and so don't even speak to me about that don't talk to me about that hey then just give me a blessing plan so that i can live the good life that i know god want me to live but brothers and sisters amen we cannot just simply deal amen on a shallow level god wants to take us deeper than that he want to take us deeper than just a million dollars in debate he want to take us deeper than just feeling good in our bodies he want to give us the strength the wisdom and the know-how in order to fight the devil and come out with the victory i feel like i need to preach to somebody look at somebody and tell them i'm in it to win it oh god i feel like i want to talk on tuesday night i said i'm in it to win it i'm not just fighting somebody that beat the air if i throw a punch believe me it's some intentions behind that i'm not here amen just to pass time i'm not here for the pictures of the lord i'm here because i can't live in the church and when i leave back to church there's a devil waiting on me he's had many years to exercise but i came in here so that somebody could talk to me and tell me the power that i have in god so that when i leave out of here i can fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life i wish i could find about 17 of you that'll look at somebody and tell them about a fight to win i tell them you got to fight to win that means you don't just come out the corner you come out with some intentions that he's gonna hit me it's gonna hurt but it ain't gonna be enough to make me quit i'm trying to find if there's anybody left in the house of god that knows that in this battle he's gonna hit you it's gonna hurt but look at somebody tell them but it ain't enough to make me quit i got to fight for my life amen everything now give me a moment everything now caters to the flesh and to all things carnal we gotta resist that because jesus never came to appease our flesh he never came to make it comfortable for us to be carnal as a matter of fact he called for us to come out of a carnal place and come on over in the spirit he says he wants us to walk in the spirit so that we don't fulfill the lust of our flesh so that means it's got to be more to me than just my flesh don't just get me to church and talk to my flesh there's a whole lot more to me forgot they're telling me about my flesh when i come to church i need somebody to talk to me about that part of me that i can't see i need somebody to talk and to speak some strength to my enemy somebody that can give me something that's going to embolden me so that even my reputation i can put that in the hands of the lord and go on and do what god called me to do don't just talk to my flesh there's so much more to me but if we're not careful come on that's the aim of everything now y'all get quiet but i know that's the truth it's the aim of everything it's just talking and putting his hands on your flesh everything now caters to the flesh side to that to that which is carnal even what people call love now is solely based on physical attraction everything now is just it's all about the natural the carnal side the fleshless act you big enough if i lose my teeth and my hair everything now everything now is based on on how everything appeals to the flesh even what people call love now it's all predicated it's built on the foundation of something physical something something attractive y'all ain't saying nothing rather that being built on something so much deeper that's the reason why love now don't last now they're getting quiet that's right what people call love now it don't last because it's not deeply rooted it's not firm it's not solid it's just all about the flesh it don't go no deeper so when you start getting wrinkled up jesus then people start saying something you know i don't feel about you the same way i used to and now everybody looking for a younger newer model what people call anointed now is nothing more than that which connects or appeals to our emotion it has nothing to do with us so if somebody can sing and they can start way down there and by the time they get up now your hair's standing up on the back of your arm and you'll say that lord what did they do i felt the anointing did you hear that and they didn't do nothing but throw their voice around the corner and bring it back but because you always said it appealed to your emotions a child just got me when he hit that note when she said that honey i was done i'm not you know that ain't got nothing to do with anointing that just appeals to your emotion they thinking about broken heart y'all getting cried now and you know folk now i told you i was reading a magazine and they were talking about a secular artist who came out with a new project and somebody said honey i felt the anointing when i listened to this she put her heart and soul into this and i'm saying they don't even know what anointing is the anointing don't come to lift the hand on the back of your arm the anointing comes to destroy the yoke now that just connected with your emotions but that don't make it annoying y'all getting quiet amen you're all down in your feelings and try this song just speak to me what it say if you think you're lonely now wait till tonight are y'all ain't saying that here that ain't got nothing to do with no anointing that did nothing but connect with your emotions what people are calling warfare now honey go into prayer with me i'm in warfare ain't nothing more than you reaping what you sow you don't dig somebody daddy the same person did you did it honey go with me now i'm in warfare everything now has turned so shallow but y'all don't got quite even sermons now are so full of recipes amen for a good life that they render you unprepared for what comes after this but you've got to know you're more than that you're so much more than the flesh that's not all there is to you i can't come to church and preach how god forgot clothes god wants you to have a new suit he wants you to have new shoes you are so much more than just that amen i can't just come here and preach your money amen because what would it profit you to gain the whole world and then lose your soul it is not my job to prop up your flesh it is my job to speak some spiritual truth to you so that you shall be able to stand we're getting this stuff mixed up now and people love it because it's so easy to connect with the flesh because the flesh is what connects you to this world so there's everything all around us that can connect with us because our bodies and our flesh is how we connect to this world but we're more than that we are made in the image of god of a triune god and because we are we are tripartite in our makeup tripartite means that we are consisting of a body a soul and a spirit i can speak to the body part of you but how does that repair the damage oh god that sin has done to your soul and to your spirit man come on now we've got to come out of the flesh and that's why it takes the preaching of the word of god because the preaching of the word of god is able to get down into the soul of a man it changes the spirit of a man it renews him and cleans him up and that shows up on the outside i can dress up your flush but that don't mean your heart is any different you're just like a pig with a ribbon around his neck just something to go right back into the mess that you were just brought out but if your heart is clean when you get a clean spirit when something takes place on the inside then i don't want to do that stuff that i used to do i don't have a desire to be that old herman murray that i was all this other stuff this stuff don't hit you in your spirit just appeals to your flesh that's all it does oh god wants you to be blessed and he does but even that's your so so prosperous uh we don't talk like that we just we just give you plans and recipes and and 12 steps to this but there's so much more to you and just your flesh there's so much more to this thing now than just getting rain and clothes and having a nice house and a nice car and so many people give everything they are in the pursuit of more i just just want more just want something bigger just just want something newer i want something that people can see and idolize me behind i want something that grabs the attention of men and so we're dressing up the outside we're doing a whole lot of stuff to promote outside amen but then when they get into contact with you and folks start fooling with you they feel like you ain't nobody to be around because you look good on the outside but you got a heart you always say nothing your soul is full of bad men's bones now you got a nasty disposition while you cleaned up on the outside that's the reason why i tell you the cleansing process don't start on the outside it starts on the inside are you always saying nothing here that's where it's got to start but that ain't where it end are you hearing me it's gonna show up on the outside because god don't want you amen boasting something that they can't find when they interact with you that's what got the fig tree in trouble because it wasn't good for nothing it just looked good you always say nothing but he found nothing but leads and it's a sad thing when folk deal with us and we're clean on the outside but the inside is still nasty that's what happens when you don't deal the way you should with that fleshly man you know the bible tells us about our flesh that carnal side of us would get us in trouble oh god because it's so easy to be carnal y'all getting quiet it ain't hard you ain't got to practice being carnal you you you just just stop praying and get cornered that's right you can stop coming to church and get carnal and get fleshly you always said as a matter of fact you can sit up in tree you can sit up in church and get carnal and get fleshly amen you don't have to work at that what you have to work at amen is bringing your carnal mind subject to the power of god brothers and sisters you got to know that what god is requiring of every one of us is that we bring our carnal mind subject to his will amen you got to know your flesh can't be saved your flesh got to be brought subject you've got to crucify your flesh every day that means every day that you wake up you've got to realize i'm not in heaven yet there's still a whole lot that will connect with my flesh if i don't bring my flesh subject so what i've got to do i got to keep my mind stayed on god that's the only way he's going to keep me in perfect peaks a pastor you got to pray my flesh is acting up again there ain't nothing for me to pray about that's something for you to bring subject but y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you you want me to pray about your flesh but you got to get some power so that when the devil says stop over there and flag her down but you always say nothing with the devil trying to carry you to the liquor store when he tried to get you to holla at somebody that you don't belong to somebody else you've got enough power to say devil you a liar and flesh you are to come subject to the power of god the blood while y'all hearing what i'm trying to somebody got to learn how to plead the blood over your flesh your flesh ain't gonna die voluntarily you gotta crucify it every day that you wake up you've got to be willing to fight it you've got to be willing to bring it subject if you got to plead the blizzard playing in the blood over my eyes i'm not going to let my eye take me to hell the blood over my mind never you elijah and result that does not give itself over to the obedience of christ i got to pull it down i'm not going to let my flesh carry me the hell you got to bring it subject a pastor came to the prayer line for the 27th time this week for you to lay hands on me and bring my flesh back to the place it's supposed to ain't be for me to lay hands on you for you y'all don't got quiet on me you gotta bring your own flesh subject how do i do that through the power of god you gotta get the holy ghost and i don't mean no tongue i mean some real bona fide power that'll help you bring your flesh subject so when your flesh tells you to do stuff that feel good that'll make you look good that's good to think about the spirit of god will rise up in you and say there's some danger ahead you always sin and anybody ever had the holy ghost to rise up and start talking to you that's why i love god he'll never let me walk into a trap he'll never let me go over the cliff but if you get too close to the edge you always say nothing you got senses in your car when you back up and get too close it's like making noise while i thank god that's old technology the holy ghost been doing that for years when i get too close to sin the holy ghost will stand up and say come on back shot somebody tell them i've been to the hands and back are you always saying nothing i could have got caught up in some stuff i could have went over the cliff i could have died in this but the holy ghost would gotta bring your flesh subject can i tell you something about your flesh it's not fair for you to try to fight your flesh without the holy ghost that's not even a fight you can win or you can train for everybody else but how you gonna train in the natural to defeat yourself you know every punch you gonna throw how do you sneak yourself uh oh no oh no you you can't fight yourself and win without the holy ghost that's why you need that power because paul says amen there's something going on in my body there's a wall and i want to do some good stuff with my mind but i'm not able to do that but y'all ain't saying nothing he said but then the stuff that i don't want to do if i'm not careful i find myself doing better war is me who shall deliver me from the body of this pit but then it comes back and he says there is pastor now no condemnation to them who walk according to the spirit and not after the flesh see that's what god wants you to know that you are in this world this fleshly realm you're in this carnal place but with the spirit of god if you let the holy ghost have his way you don't have to give in to what your flesh tells you to do oh no you ain't got to give in to your flesh and that's the reason why folk that got addictions they'll cry but they'll find themselves doing the very thing they're crying about shooting drugs in their veins and crying at the same time don't want to do it tired of this i said the last time it's going to be the last time and here i'd go all over again there's somebody that's fighting an unsuccessful battle against their flesh oh it takes the holy ghost to put your flesh down y'all don't get quiet because because it's so easy to do the wrong thing it's so easy for us to do stuff amen that's not right in the sight of god and you know the devil makes it convenient yes he does he makes sure that there is always an opportunity for you to do the wrong thing he want to make sure there's always something that presents itself when you can look around and can't see nobody nobody that'll snitch on you nobody that'll look at you funny because i want to make sure he show you that everybody around you doing the same thing you tempted to do so they can't look at you funny if they doing it himself come on oh but when you walk after the spirit i don't care if you don't see a church member from sunday to sunday you're saved sanctified and filled with the holy ghost everywhere you go see we need to start teaching hey man people that oh god ain't saying nothing here about how your worldview should be shaped even because some folk they're listening but they really don't believe it and so when they get out there they can't live like this but you've got to know i don't care what you can be in australia you can always say nothing you can be in uh uh africa you can be in italy texas hey man you can be everywhere i want you to know that if you got the holy ghost amen it won't let your flesh get away with nothing i don't care where you are on your honey y'all getting quiet here it won't even let you get away on your honeymoon on vacation if you've got the spirit of god in you go on to that island if you want to but if you want to live right i want you to know take the lord along with you everywhere that you go no it ain't just that you living holy round church folk come on you got to have enough power to tell your flesh no it's so convenient to do wrong the devil don't give give this generation every means possible they could email they can text snapchat instagram inbox sliding in the dms it's so easy to do wrong that's why we can't take this for granted it is so easy to do well i was reading a philosophy a book and it it talked about how that the human mind is predisposed to resist mandates tell somebody what not to do that's everything they want to do that's right that's right just don't open that door go to the mailbox come back go wide open the very thing you tell people not to do is the very thing they just they just want to do and you know it's so bad that if you hadn't even told them they would have had no desire for it but the fact that you said don't do some stuff people didn't do before they got saved and the moment i stand up here and say we don't do it that's the very thing they want to go and do they never even did it but that's how the devil watched that's why we can't take this this time this training for granted because so many people have been led to believe that all god wants out of you is a good life and that's how they spend that time doing they give to the poor they donate to charity they feed the hungry clothed the naked they're just good people loan people money they just good all around but there's a part of them that's unaddressed and that's that spiritual side of them but they've been led to believe that if you live a good life when you get to heaven god is going to weigh your good against your bad and if you did enough good then that'll get you into heaven who's telling you this stuff the bible says that the wrath of god is revealed from it against all iniquity and righteousness and godliness sin it's going to come against everything that is not like god you cannot live for your flesh but he gonna wait my good and my bad how much that's your good way when according to the scriptures every time you sin you crucify jesus all over again so you gave somebody five dollars at the corner is that supposed to outweigh the crucifixion come on now that's the enemy making an appeal to you to stay carnal and to stay fleshly and to think that even god has to be bound by your carnal activity and ignore the fact that you're spiritually deficient and the problem with that is is that the war that we're waging is not with flesh and blood so how can living according to our flesh give us victory when our enemy is not flesh and blood we're not even fighting the flesh and blood kind of why if we were it could have been over a long time ago or if this was just flesh and blood raise an army let's fight it out and let's just end it all but this war has been waging hot since angels rebelled and got kicked out this war is so old that every living soul that has ever lived has fought in this battle or is fighting right now we don't fight against flesh and blood our enemy is not an enemy that we can kill naturally oh no you've got to know that there's something happening in a realm that we cannot even see and that's why it is so dangerous to live solely by the dictates of your flesh because there's a whole world around us we can't even see with our natural eyes i wonder if god would ever open up our spiritual eyes so we can see the kind of stuff that's going on all around us 24 hours a day how many demons and devils are hovering over you while you sleep just waiting for an opportunity to get you in the morning you always say nothing here there's a war going on but it's not something that you can feel with your hands that you can smell with your nose that you can see with your eyes that you can pace with your y'all get quiet but that you can hear with your this is a war and it's a spiritual fight it's the fight not just for your house but y'all hearing me try the devil isn't that the devil trying to steal my house honey he's trying to steal a whole lot more than just your house the devil don't care nothing about you being on the street because you can be on the street and still have jesus he's trying to take your heart he's trying to take your soul out he's fighting you for your mind because he don't want your mind stayed on the lord he wants you to be sitting up here and worry so much no matter what i'm doing well what kind of raise i'm again my bills that are due that that's all we're seeking after but the bible tells us that's not our aim we don't seek out the money we don't seek out the clothes but we seek first the kingdom of heaven that's spiritual and his righteousness and god will take care of the rest we're running after that stuff and don't even realize if we run after that doing ourselves a disservice you got folk night can't come to church they work in double and trouble over time trying to keep up with a lifestyle they can't afford and they forgot about their soul to the pastor ain't gonna be in church tonight tell him yourself i'm working overtime again i ain't gonna get this over time but i'm trying to get your eyes focused on when time is over because you have to stand before god and you better be able to stand there with your hands raised in victory or else all of that over time was a waste of time you can't be so adamant i'm not going out the carnal thing and that's where people's minds are now they even come to church not to get strong in god but as a means to an end they didn't show up unless they sick you're going to give the devil all your good health and then bring yo beat down the crap itself back to god take me and mold me come on now you should have gave him the best of you people's minds can't grasp that and the truth is that while you're having so much fun being carnal and fleshly and while you're having so much fun going after all of that and you got some people me and pasadena the other day we have to look it up because we couldn't figure out what folk used to say when they would say you live in the life of riley who is riley you got people living the proverbial life of riley whoever he is they laugh every day have fun every day they have leisure time every day they post about it every day and here you're sitting up comparing your life you know that's how instagram and facebook all that is doing and all it's doing is causing people to compare themselves to everybody else and think that they're living a better life than you and they're not they're using all kind of filters and and star effects to make it look good and they're right there in their own living room but the sad thing is while they're laughing and having fun and traveling and experiencing leisure time and living it up there's a war going on ain't that something people don't even see it they don't realize it while they are living it up there's a war going on and i'm not telling you you can't laugh and and have fun oh yeah you know even in the army sometimes they give you weekend passes and i said just get off the base and go go but then when you come back bring your mind with you because the war is still going on there's still a fight that you gotta fight and i'm not telling you that you can't go on vacation i'm just trying to tell you you gotta be careful even on your vacation cause the devil will sneak you if you ain't kept get me first peter 5 and 8. now you didn't close your bible did you first peter five and eight be sober be sober that means a wealth be in your right mind and some people say but i don't i don't drink wine well that's good don't drink liquor that's good i don't drink that's good i don't smoke no weed that's good but there's a whole lot more you can be drunk off of than wine he said be sober some people are drunk of the cares of this world not sober they out of their mind they'll steal from you just to get something they can't afford themselves that's trunk care so much about this world they'll treat you like dirt just to get ahead they'll trunk off the cares of this life they'll lie on you write false reports about you to get you demoted because they've been eyeing your desk over in the corner some folk are not sobering it's not because they're drunk with wine where in his excess drunk off the cares of this world be vigilant be vigilant be on your guard be ready to respond at any given time because your adversary the devil hear this as a roaring lion your your your adversary you know what the bible say your adversary somebody that wants to operate adverse to you somebody that does not seek your good i tell you this has a has a deeper a meaning than just an opponent because sometimes and i said it before sometimes venus and serena find themselves on opposite ends of the court they may be opponents but that don't mean they hate each other they they get through they hug and everything that that that that's different when you talk about an adversary like a lie and a roaring lie that's somebody that's trying to he's not just trying to win and then give you a chance to come back and win later the only way he can win is that he destroys you he has to utterly annihilate you he don't just want to wound you or name you he wants to destroy you he wants to get you to a place where you cannot pick yourself up and move on he's not just trying to break your leg he's trying to destroy your spirit he's not trying just to maim your body he's trying to ruin your chances of ever making it to heaven he's your adversary he's more than an opponent he's your enemy he'll never seek your good word can i say this to you i don't care how long you live saved he'll never stop trying he'll never stop every day that you wake up it's coming for you well hey i can't think of nothing that happened today that don't mean he didn't try we we thank god for for keeping us from dangerous scene and answer y'all y'all getting quiet see sometimes the lord will let you tangle with some stuff but then there's some things a lot of keep you from and handle it behind your back and you just sitting there walking like alice in wonderland don't even know what just happened how the devil almost y'all ain't standing up and trying to dig the dirt out from under your feet he tried to get you in the pit god didn't even let it y'all ain't saying nothing he didn't even let it happen you'll find out about heaven's gonna reveal every time god kept you from a trap that you didn't even know about and you just walking alone singing with your mind stayed on jesus walking you always saying nothing over traps and over ditches that the devil had dug tried to get you god didn't let it happen you don't even know about it don't you ever think the devil lets you off the hook sometimes you don't walk over danger didn't even know it walked on still feeling good you know you realize what almost happened to you i remember years ago we were going over over my grandparents house and danielle was lagging behind me and i turned around and see her coming up the walkway and i saw this snake on the sidewalk and by the time i saw her she was already in mid-stride and the only thing i could think of if i holler and say something to this woman she gonna break her ankle her knee and i couldn't say nothing i had to let her take it she stepped on that snake and and and god had it that she stepped on the head and when she stepped on yeah yuck the back of that snake starts flipping and she didn't know nothing about it just kept walking on up to the door didn't even know that she just stepped on a snake and just coming up y'all ain't saying and you don't even realize how many times that snake was right there oh god in the spirit trying to bring something he felt like was gonna win for sure and god while you were sitting there humming i would look to the hills while your eyes was up on the hill he put that snake under your feet and look at you made it safely to the other side and don't even realize how close you were don't you ever think the devil gave you a pass god just gave you the victory look at somebody and just tell a neighbor the devil didn't give me a pass tell them god just gave me the victory be sober be vigilant because you got an adversary y'all y'all ain't saying nothing you know the bible say you reap what you sow one day i went upstairs and then y'all called me on the phone she said herman get down here now there's a snake in this house i said how do you know i'm looking at him right now came down here and the thing was for about two weeks and i told them i felt like there was a snake in my house for two weeks i would walk by my living room look over on the wood floor because i expected every time i walked by i'd look for him never saw it but when i came down and she said that i had already planned two weeks ahead of time when i see him what i'm gonna do so i knew what to do i come downstairs danielle is up in the bed with one of my bibles up in the alley i said put that bible don't you throw that bop all i can see with blood i love my good bible here put it don't you put that bible down and i'm sitting there and he was he was over on the town part when you first walk in and and she said herman he's he's crawling strange he said i think he was right there that's what she thought she said i think he was right there when you walked out a few minutes ago you didn't sin and you must have stepped on him because he's injured i said i didn't reap what i saw another time just walking and don't even realize if you had a scene that he had you'd have wasted your time you to hurt yourself but god shielded you from you didn't even know it all that danger right stuff well it wasn't positive yeah but the poison ain't what would have hurt me it was me that would have hurt me god didn't even let that happen sometimes we don't know and i don't want you to think child i tell you it's been a great week it ain't great because the devil gave you a vacation it's great because god gave you the victory he kept you in spite of the fact that you didn't even know what was going on folk trying to get you fired all of this other stuff and god is shielding you from you always saying nothing here folks you ain't ready to sin yet because you ain't strong enough to handle that kind of a fight god let him pass around the corner before you got there because he didn't need you going home dreaming about people that he's still trying to get out of your heart got to keep you from it let me hurry and get out of here for your adversary the devil he's trying to get you i want you to know that he's trying to get you he's looking for somebody he can devour he's looking for somebody that's not prepared for this fight and i've come to tell you if you're not spiritual he'll eat you up he'll have you becoming selfish you'll place yourself in a path to be destroyed if you're not spiritual you'll let everything in the natural that don't go right turn your heart away from what you know god it's too hard you've got to look this is a war it's not supposed to be easy and sometimes we think that it is child and it's supposed to be like this do you realize there's a war going on how do i know i'm where god wants me to be it ain't because everything is easy y'all don't get quiet you know it's where you need to be because this is the place where you're becoming spiritually mature mature you're being fed you're being strengthened and god is using everything that you see now everything you go through to give you what you need for the battle that lies ahead of you it's not supposed to be easy this is a war and you got a fight he used to tell us god can't use a coward soldier he said i don't take pleasure them to draw back if you do my soul has no pleasure in you don't do that to god put your hand in this plow and look back you ain't fit for the kingdom he said no you gotta fight what did you think this was this is a all of life is a battlefield you're gonna have to fight until the day is done he said our fight is not against flesh and blood there's a spiritual battle going on we don't even see it if he could open our eyes and open our understanding we would see that there are forces all around us trying to influence us for the better or for the worse all around us the enemy making it convenient for you to live by your flesh because he knows as long as you're in the flesh you can't fight him because this war is not with flesh and blood so if all you are is in the flesh then you are inadequate for this battle he's trying to hold you in a place of spiritual immaturity oh he don't want you to grow in god the devil don't want you to mature in god because once you do you realize what you do and what you don't have to take folks in there crying about stuff god gave you power over the devil hopes you never come to that kind of understanding because at that moment you're willing and able to tear down strongholds can you imagine being spiritually maturing god to the point to where every time the devil show up with something that's contrary to the life god called you to live you got the wisdom and the strength to pull it down keep on going the devil said backslide and you pull that down and keep on going show you somebody that don't like you and three years ago you'd have been crying and went home and sat there for three months because somebody rolled their eyes at you but now you're so mature in god he can't get you with that stuff he's trying to show you everybody that don't like you and you just look at the lord keep your eyes on that star pose and glory and all that other distraction dawg just pull it i wish i i had somebody tonight that could testify to your neighbor that where i am now is better than where i was a year ago that stuff that would have had me crying or you ever ain't crying over that stuff no more i've got the power and the wisdom to pull it down i'm not gonna lose this battle a minute his wife gotta fight every day i get up get up ready to fight the good fight of faith ready to lay hold on eternal life i ain't looking for the devil because i'm already the champion champions don't look for people to fight y'all ain't saying that mayweather ain't never go to nobody i want to fight nah everybody trying to fight him you know because he the champion i ain't looking for the devil he know where i am but whenever he shows up in your life you got the wisdom and the power to pour down every stronghold that the devil tries to erect in your but devil i'm coming to tell somebody you're going to be all right all you got to do is mature in god and figure out that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they are mighty through god to the pulling down of stronghold he's trying to get you with a stronghold but the devil is alive touch somebody tell them put it down pull it down i tell you pull that down he's trying to work on your mind but god said through the power of the holy ghost pull it down he's trying to work on your family but god said you got the power to pull him down he's trying to confuse you and get you while you're watching what you're waving no he's saying nothing but i'm trying to tell you you've got the power to pull it down i wish i could find about 70 of you gotta just pull it down in the name of jesus i'm going to win the war in the got good spiritual mental health everything that's trying to challenge my prayer life brother herman i wanted to pray last night but it was too much going on that ain't nothing but a stronghold you got a point i want to pray but every time i get on my knees brother herman i found myself falling asleep i can't keep my mind focused i started praying to god take me higher but then i find myself thinking about what i'm aware tomorrow to work that ain't nothing but the people he's trying to get your mind confused he's trying to cause your mind to wonder but you've got to pull that down tell you a liar every time i find myself wondering i'm going to stop and start all over again and i'm going to start by telling god how good he is so devil every time you try to distract me whenever i get back on track i'm gonna give god some more praise and i'm gonna try this thing together i didn't come over here to lose i came over here to fight i'm coming out all right the devil is a liar my flesh got to come subject that's the reason i fast the reason i pray i'm sanctifying myself and he promised that if i sanctify myself then the very god of peace will come in and sanctify me completely sanctify me holy tell somebody and tell a neighbor i'm being killed by god because i got a mind to be kept by god if i didn't have a mind that never would have took me a long time ago but i'm still here because i want to be here i'm still saved but i want to be saved i'm still holding on to god because i love god and i'm not going to let go i'm going to hang in there shake a neighbor's hand and tell him i'm still here cause i wanna be here and if i wanna be here i've counted up because i've seen the hills i've seen the valleys i've seen the ups i've seen the donald trump but it wasn't enough to step your way i'm still here still standing happy got through sometimes i got cut up i kept that is hallelujah i'll get that might be bleeding when i get there but i'll get there scraped up scars everywhere but i'm gonna get there tell somebody tell them i'm in the fight of my life or tell somebody else i'm in for the fight of my life but tell them victory victory shall be mine if i hold my peace get my flesh out the way let the lord fight my battles victory shall it shall be mine it shall it shall be mine hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah anybody got a little fight left in you i said there's anybody some of you out there in the world even look at you sideways you ready to reach under your seat open up your trunk folk bumped into you on accident you had to fight people and but then you come over and get saved nine of a sudden you can't take nothing you can't you was out there with brass knuckles and all this stuff backyard boxing for punching folks opening up their forehead and blood everywhere you can take all that but then you're just saying come over here and poke roll their eyes at you and you start crying look at somebody tell them you're stronger than that you're stronger than that don't but they don't like me i ran into a hypocrite listen you stronger than that is that all it took i come to speak to somebody tonight and tell you that you're a whole lot stronger than that it's a fight but it's one you can win it's not easy but nobody said it was supposed to be why it's not easy i'm just a little discouraged pick yourself up we all out here fight i can't put my gun down to carry you you just gonna lay down and throw a tantrum and i'm supposed to stop fighting and bend down on the battlefield and then come on get on back up they didn't mean to hurt your feeling come listen you better get up come on now you're stronger than that you're better than that i ain't had no money in two weeks and chad i don't even know where the money coming from it's just i don't understand why i gotta be like this that's all it takes come on now don't just stand out in the battlefield as an open target make him work for it i'm not going to lay down i told him the other night i'm not going to stop living or die i'm going to live till i die pick yourself up somebody else is here somebody needs the lord i want you to come if you need the holy ghost i want you to come somebody tonight needs some strength i want you to come if you maybe the battle is raging hot i want you to come if you if you need some strength come on strength for the journey strength for the battle i'm not fighting to lose i'm not fighting just to give up in the end i haven't made it too far i got too many scars i've gone through too much come on now just to turn around and go back now no the roads get rough go and get tough hills get hard to climb but if you started with jesus take all the doubt out your mind there's a reason you're chosen you decided to make jesus your choice elders would you go in and pray someone needs the holy ghost somebody needs the lord hallelujah thank you jesus you know the road gets rough yes sir and the going gets tough and the heels are hard too and there is no doubt and the heels i started out alone hallelujah hallelujah come on let me hear you saying get on the road come on that's it yes i did a long my time to make jesus my to make jesus oh my choice somebody lift those hands and praise the lord hallelujah hallelujah thank you jesus but i started out take the seed if you can a long time ago in my mind to make jesus my my glad every time i think that was the best decision i've ever made to make jesus my my choice that's the best decision you've ever made i want to see you give him a praise right now uh i will serve and
