Amazing Invention Demonstrated by Man from Georgia Who Designed and Built it to Find Diamonds in AR

we're at the north end of the crater a diamond search field right now and what is your name and where are you from Georgia Calhoun Georgia well how far is that from here about six hundred and forty miles Wow that's a long trip so how long have you been coming here good time to come so have you found any diamond fantastic very good congratulations and in the past have you ever found any very well there is a learning curve but now you that you've given it some thought looks like you've got some equipment set up here where did you get this equipment Georgia made fantastic well won't you run it and show it and kind of explain how this works and why you built it this way to the west right yeah and this is portable you got wheels under it and you can pack it up and roll it roll it now try to position it to where you know if this vicinity of where I want to be excellent I don't have to carry Beckett so far then I can run through more material yeah exactly less time carrying more time finding diamond well your process works that's encouraging you're not just washing dirt you're finding diamonds and that's what it's all about and you're diggin the material right near here in the North drain okay well I hope you have success all right got it in my hopper so gonna get starting anything any big rock for something oh yeah it'll discharge some bigger rocks will miss some man so that's a quarter inch screen only modify to a little bit larger screen but that's where is what I want to keep will fall down in a basket yes then what I don't want to keep will discharge out the end so with the reverse helix and I'm gonna break lift at the end it'll discharge [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh I see I see how you got that little tumor forcing us travels clean it's not completely addicted okay back it up yeah [Applause] so what about that for now Oh hold load another bucket and she need a process and then I concentrate all down in here okay - every to be big show me okay so you had done us the root cut now you took the center on it oh that's fine okay this is a neat process you got your own table portable table here all in one station yeah so that is out of the bottom of this everything that fell through that quarter-inch and then you put it in your salute about half the basket sits about halfway down and the tank is open for and what's the largest diamond you found don't play Joe this year in the West ring hey so this week oh hey biggest one pound this week well one bigger than that might be in this salutely you don't know and it's important to get the water out of it so it's not so fluid and it holds together as a tighter pancake it's not dry but it's less liquid packs together so stand to make sure that I didn't press against the bag exactly you don't want to poke a hole in your screen right right excellent well that's the real good angle for maximum draining efficiency and yet if you had it any steeper your material would slide I like that took a little work to find there yeah happy medium there I like how this is done because it's good for people who aren't familiar to see how to work us or Ruka - and you're putting some pretty muddy material in that but as you work the Soroka the mud the silk comes out it comes out I have to work it a little bit longer I'm working with some dirty water you adapt to what what you have available and I see you've got an apron and rubber gloves that's pretty good to have this time yeah if the water's cold it really keeps you warm longer and then without that apron you'd be I've found most of my diamonds at home going through the material I usually don't find it I'm in the park and people are shocked to hear that and really when the you take it home and you let that gravel dry then there's a sharper distinction between the shiny diamond and the other material because when everything's glad everything shiny but when it's dry the diamonds are what shine so it's easier spot and you level your table back off yeah look like you're stacking bricks you ready for another brick to go onto POW and and that shows you're doing this Iruka right because your heavies are centered in the middle at the bottom of the Soroka and then when you flip the Suruga over it's right on top in the center so you don't have to take all that material you just take yeah yeah get the heavy stuff and leave the light stuff here at the park all right well there's got to be a better way hauling buckets yes I thought about it for a few months mm-hmm come up with my preliminary design and just started working just bought the sheet metal and whatever yeah Hilda have aluminum for a light weight light weight sure yes excellent well I love it I think you've done a good job and it it works efficient and and works well for you is great that it's portable and you can go and try the east rain for a while the west rain the north drain wherever you want to go and see what does best for you well thank you very much for your time Dave it's nice to meet you and I appreciate you telling us everything and giving us a demonstration appreciate it
