All About Purah & Robbie (FULL GUIDE) - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity | Warriors Dojo

[Music] not able to match the physical strength of the other champions of hyrule the scientists pura and robbie have nonetheless finally found a way to put their abundant supply of research intelligence and ingenuity to use on the battlefield working as a team the two manipulate a pair of shika arms attached to robbie's back that are capable of slicing through the gathered hordes with mechanized precision all while having pura nearby to activate the seriously heavy ordnance borrowed from divine beast technology there's quite a bit of depth to this playstyle so let's jump in and see what the final dlc characters can do purra and robbie's regular attack string consists of seven attacks robbie will cut left right do a spinning attack forward double slash slice upwards stop into a series of thrusts and then finish with a big left cut and a pose for their regular dash attack robbie will come to a stop and do a double thrust attack forwards after which you can continue along into their regular attack string for their strong dash attack robbie will go on a spinning attack that will also create a shield around himself that lasts for about 4 seconds this shield does not block any damage but it does have a very important purpose playing directly into robbie and pera's unique mechanic these two have an auto recharging bar underneath their health and when it is full pura can take out one of four inventions which are each designed like one of the divine beasts as indicated by the symbol the varuta invention shoots out a beam in front of itself valrudanya will cause a small explosion va meadow flies from left to right three times with aerial bombardments and von naborus will create a massive lightning storm one that probably hits in a far larger area than you'd expect all of these attacks hit extremely hard and will also force out enemy weak point gauges however if robbie gets caught up in any of them he will also be thrown around although he doesn't take any damage from it the only way for robbie to get into the middle of these attacks while they're going off is to put on the previously mentioned shield which can come either from his strong dash attack or one of his other strong attacks you should know however that just applying this shield once is probably not going to protect you for the entire attack duration and so you will probably want to reapply it within the attack at least one time to avoid getting thrown around and losing out on whatever combo you were building up towards anyways let's move on to the pair's aerial attacks and for their regular aerial string robbie will attack three times with lots of cuts and for their strong aerial he will go on a spinning attack flying all the way back down to the ground last up let's cover their sheikah slate runes for their stasis rune they will time lock enemies in front of them from which you can then start attacking by pressing the regular attack button repeatedly due to all of the pair's divine beast inventions forcing out weak point gauges it is remarkably easy with good aim and good timing to get full use out of the stasis rune by activating your invention turning on robbie's shield and then getting right into the thick of things to try to catch an open weak point with this stasis even though this will put robbie in an attacking stance while you're in the middle of the stasis animation you can't actually be hurt or moved around so from the initial damage of the beast and your own multiple hits robbie and peru can do a good job of breaking down weak points and nearly every single time they come out this is incredibly powerful of course however it does require a bit of skill as sometimes landing these inventions on some of the quicker enemies can be a bit of a task moving on to their crayonus rune it's quite simple they will create an ice block just in front of them and if you press the strong attack button after it's just been released robbie will send it sliding forward for their magnesis rune if there is anything to grab they will gather metal objects in a sphere in front of them before throwing it forwards just like with other magnesius runes if there is nothing to grab the rune will simply fail but also will not start your cooldown last up for the remote bomb rune they will create a giant bomb before hitting it and after rolling a very far distance it will explode well with all of this duo's most basic attacks out of the way let's move on to their strong attacks next [Music] for pura and robbie's first strong attack robbie will do a spinning attack that will activate his shield you will want to use this after activating their inventions because this of course is the other attack that gives him a shield that i mentioned earlier for their second strong attack robbie will summon a large hammerhead and then use his arm to slam it down in front of him this attack is a bit slow but it also does a good amount of damage robbie and perez's third strong attack will have him gather up energy in front of them before causing an explosion where it was gathered this attack like many of his other attacks has a long startup but it does do heavy damage if it manages to go off next their fourth strong attack will have the duo summon up a flurry of energy weapons that rain out in front of them this is a quick bit of area damage and is a bit faster than the duo's other strong attacks their fifth strong attack has them create a small device that launches out a large energy ball that flies through the air slowly arcing until it lands and explodes if an enemy is hit during the final explosion their weak point gauges will be forced out so of course this works best on large slow enemies like henox's but otherwise it can be a little bit too slow for consistently revealing weak point gauges for their sixth and final strong attack robbie will pause in order to start up his shika arms after which he will go on a fast moving flurry of attacks while running forwards these attacks both reveal enemy weak point gauges and will also do a tremendous amount of work cutting through them often mowing through their entire gauge in mere moments and then opening them up for a weak point smash robbie and peru already did have a great way to endlessly cycle through weak point smashes through their unique mechanic and stasis rune however having this in the repertoire alongside that really can make up for the timing against faster enemies that could make that strategy somewhat difficult with all of robbie and pero's attacks now covered let's jump over to talk about their weapons and weapon build recommendation next pura and robbie have three possible weapons and going from weakest to strongest they are the prototype shika arms refined shika arms and ultimate shika arms i'll put up a chart up on screen right now to show off their hidden level 25 m30 seals but for my weapon build recommendation today i'm going to be focusing on the ultimate chica arms given that these already come with a square shaped attack speed seal and a star-shaped regular attack damage seal this recommendation is going to be kind of obvious you will probably want three more attack speed seals and one more star-shaped seal either regular attack damage or strong attack damage or you'll want the opposite with one more attack speed seal and three more damage seals personally i do think that burra and robbie's attacks in general do suffer from long startup times so you probably want to add as much attack speed as you possibly can and just like that we have covered pura and robbie and completed this hyrule warriors age of calamity guide series on every single playstyle in the game let's put everything together for these two and finally put a bow on this series pura and robbie while being a bit on the slow side nevertheless end up being an incredibly deadly duo when utilized to their full potential their ability to force out weak point gauges with their divine beasts is an incredible unique mechanic but it's also one that requires a good amount of skill or timing their ability to consistently do this puts them within spitting distance of other characters who have very easy weak point revealers such as sheikah slate zelda or yunobo just like the other character from this dlc suga pura and robbie's deadliest combos work best if you already know how your foes are going to act and i do have to say that this is a trend in dlc characters that i really appreciate all in all they bring a fantastic and humorous fighting style
